On June 2nd I made a payment for the first-time using Cinch’s website. I received a text the showed my payment was made with an authorization number. Sometime later I received a letter from Cinch stating my payment had been “returned” by my bank. I contacted my bank and they stated they showed no returned items. I then went back online to Cinch’s website and went to my account details and saw that both my banking information and previous payment had been deleted. I proceeded to re-enter my banking information and took a screen shot before I submitted it. I then proceeded to make a second payment for a higher amount and again received instant text with an authorization number that my payment had been received. Sometime later I receive another letter from Cinch stating that my payment had been “returned” again. At this point I decided to call Cinch and explain what had happened and if I could pay over the phone. I gave the representative the same info from the screen shot and the she told me to check with my bank in the morning. This time the payment went through. Several weeks later I receive an email from my credit monitoring service that a negative mark had been entered on my credit file and come to find out Cinch had posted it. I proceeded to call Cinch and spoke to another representative who told me I “must of” entered my account information incorrectly. Once maybe, twice not likely as I know my account numbers by memory. Both times this happened my bank account information and payment information were deleted from my online access making it impossible for me to verify if I had or hadn’t entered my information incorrectly. Had cinch notified me in a timely manner, this could have been avoided entirely. By attaching a derogatory mark to my credit, Cinch has financially harmed me. I was in the midst of financing a fifty-thousand-dollar piece of equipment and was unable to go through with it because my otherwise perfect payment history on all of my account was now damaged. This will also cost me financially when it comes time to finance more service vehicles for my business. I am asking Cinch to remove the 30 days late mark from my credit history as soon as possible. Again, I am asking that Cinch voluntarily remove this item as I have always maintained my account in good standing and am have paid more than my minimum payment almost every month
Desired outcome: Remove negative credit report information
