I am a former employee at circle k. The complaint is about the manager Jennifer brown at store 03745 in Scottsdale AZ . Who through text as I show below her disclosing personal information about another employee who just so happens to be black, gay and bipolar... Not only does she lie to me she tells me she's going to make him quit his job. She didn't need human resources all up in it as well as. She can't fire him because there will be drama because she's White married women and he's black gay and bipolar... This is is not ok ... This poor young man was being treated like [censor] worked to the Bone cut hours trying to make him quit. He has since obtained a lawyer .. but circle k is one of the lowest forms of garbage there is .. not only does the market manager earlinna van fossen attempt to bully employees play head games over work them discriminate . They both write off items in the store like they are defective or. Expired so they don't have to pay for them.

My name is Elizabeth I worked for your company for 8 years I was assistant manager. I was my boss right hand worked very hard. On June 2 we had a sting I got busted and lost my job. They came in during shift change and we were so busy. I got so confuse I wasn't thinking. Your policy is to immediately terminate. I know I cant get my job back but I think your policy stinks sorry. I think for a person who works very hard and is loyal to there job should be given a second chance{ really to anyone suspend for a week for the first time second time terminate]. Im 66 and circle k was my life it paid my bills. Its bad enough I have to go to court and pay 500 fine thats enough of a punishment. I know its your policy but I think in the near future you'll change that policy. Gates and the other gas station doesn't terminate they feel the fine is enough. I now have to apply for a job and I live by myself and pay rent and other bills. Hope I can get another job at my age. I got off work from dollar general warehouse and come to this store like i do every night between 3am and 5am. there is usually a different person working and the staff on this shift is al always amazing, professional, polite, and is willing to help with anything any costumer needs. i came i'm and used the atm and left. i got to my car and forgot i needed gas and cigarettes so i pulled to pump 1 and went back into the store to pay for my gas and by my cigarettes. the store was empty so she was mopping. i waiting at the counter and told her i forgot that i needed gas and a pack of cigarettes. she came to the register. i told her 20 on pump 1 and then was looking for what kind i wanted since they were out of the 1$ off mentholsâ. realisticallyâ it took a minute tops to decide which brand i wanted. i hurried up and picked a pack because she was being very impatient and went to pay for everything. she was very rude and then told me that she didn't know why i parked at pump 1 because it was down and if i wanted gas that i had better move. now there is no sign saying pump 1 isn't working nor is there a yellow bag over the gas pump.
Normally i would never do this because i never thought it was worth the time nor did i think that complainingâ would actually make a difference and someone actually correct this employees attitude and tell her that there's no room for being a complete [censor] when you work in customer service. even if a customer interrupted your mopping which she is supposed to do when the store empty or when she has downtime. there's always a rush at that time of the morning because all of the warehouse employees get off and swarm that store. now my wife is the assistant manager at the circle k off 39th and my mom's best friend is india which is the manager there. they both said to file a complaint. maybe this employee needs to meet ramona who i guess is one of the district managers for alachua county. either way i just wanted someone to know she was complete disrespectful like i was bothering her by shopping there and there is absolutely zero reason for a person that works in customer service to act like a total [censor] to her customers.

I was in the store and I put my items on the wrong side of the cash register so the employee says why the f*** would you put that on this side he was just very rude he was acting like he didn't want to be working there he was racial profiling he followed me and my boyfriend around the store like we were going to steal something I am a loyal customer to circle k I go every day I've never seen him before he must be new but I do not appreciate being treated rudely

I was there with my family and the waitress acted like it kill her to great use even wait on us. There a older lady name Mrs Mary . she out waitress them girls . anyway I was shocked asthecookcame out with his pants half way down his legs u could literally see his boxersandbutt crack even though t the other cook ask him to pull up his pants and fasting them. Which he refuses to do . to me that is not attractive and who wants to see huge man with his crackshowing wjle cooking ur food. . so we left but it looks like someone will do something. car wash
I purchased the premium car wash that said triple color and under car pressure wash and I didn't get neither of them. Which I didn't care much about the triple color soap but if it said I was supposed to get it I should have gotten it the underbody pressure wash was on album after and I was waiting for it and I did not see any water come out or spray the underneath of my car when I was done at the carwash I looked underneath and it seem like nothing got washed under. The carwash that I seem to got was a basic one but that's not the one I purchased.
employee conversation/counterfeit bills
I was visiting the Circle K on Jim Redman Blvd in Plant City, FL approximately 10 minutes ago. As I was checking out I heard an employee mention how she had received two counterfeit $10 bills (and didn't know that she was supposed to check them). She admitted to another employee that she had given one of the counterfeit bills back out to a another unsuspecting customer in attempts to get rid of it so that they no longer had possession of the counterfeit bill(s). As I am a very frequent customer at Circle K stores, it frightens me to hear that an employee felt justified in this behavior. This experience has severely diminished my trust in that store in particular and I thought someone should be told about this event. Thank you so much for your time.
This just happened at the Corner Store (just acquired by Circle K) in Houston (Holly Hall and Knight). I got a fake 10 from there yesterday, now they claim I was never there. Report being filed with Houston Police Department.
The Circle K at 19th Avenue Peoria gave me a phony $10 bill and all they can do once I realize this days later it says so sorry. I'm out $10 now because of Circle K what do I do?

employees smoking standing right next to the door entrance
2 employees lit a cigarette as I walked into the store. I thought to myself that surely They were going to walk away and smoke. But they stood on the sidewalk literally Blocking the left entrance door. I mentioned it to the employee checking me out that they may as well smoke inside. The girls behind the counter didn't comment at all. As I was walking out I had to go around them to get to my car and ask why did they have to block the door and smoke there. They made some snide remark and acted like I was asking an unreasonable question. I'm not against people that smoke, my husband is a smoker. But it is very distasteful having your employees smoking at the entrance to the store. Their names were Brian and Courtney. They were very rude and unapologetic. I hope that they are reprimanded. Not a very good example for your company.

I am a avid customer at circle k in downey ca 90242 on paramount and cole.
My kids go there and my entire family. I always get pervy looks when i go from the all male staff. But i usually dont say anything. This past weekend i did and got into argument with one of the cashiers. Now they have a picture of my on the wall with the thieves and i have neruo pain which is debilitating so i fall alot they have pictures of me falling outside. My children have to see this and neighbors its humilating at harassing it need to be removed asap.

Went to pump gas received .48 cents...went back in clerk giggled and said oh we must be out of that too. No offer of refund when I asked she e said you'll get it back in a day or two ...I don't know what to tell you !I asked for manager was told the young man behind me was assistant manager and he will tell you the same thing...since he had heard the conversation so he repeated what she said in a smart tone. When I asked for managers number as I followed the young man out . He said I 'm not giving you his number..Went back clerk inside for number guess what does not have that or corp. number finally go the store number. on my way back out the assistant manager waived papers at me and said I'm putting up signs ...Does any of that sound professional? I've worked in customer service for 30 years and would remove or write up both employees...
I also know loosing one customer means nothing to a company of this size but I will not set foot in that store again.

The circle k in my town always closes early when that Jenny girl works there and alot of people in town are mad for this reason. Just moments ago I watched her lock the door and 10:50 on and refuses customers that rushed there before they closed. It's becoming a frequent problem along with their "be back soon sign". Business 1 a laundry mat and 2 my Restorante gets delivered I have all of my parking lot block and no business can come in to my stores for the 1 or 11/2 the toe truck are here delivering I talk to the GM of the store and the drivers and still you trucks block all my parking we Ben in business for 28 years and is no fear the just because is a delivery in one of your store I got to suffer the consequences I have pictures of how bad your delivery truck block my business I no want to foto the extremes to give this to my lawyers that's why I try to be nice and just reached for you guys the address of your circle k location is 2006 pass a grille way and my store are right next to 2010 2008 and 2004 pass a grille way the truck can deliver the goods from the back of the store just like my delivery is down no blocking business to no one but for there convenience they ( delivery drives) keeping doing it at the front of my store I will like to send to you the pic of the truck blocking my stores please contact me as soon is possible thank you

First rule of retail: Never turn down a sale if you can help it...
This afternoon, after visiting 2 other locations that did not have the product I wanted, 2 ltr Dr Pepper, I stopped at this store... Coca Cola was making their delivery as I came in, so I was fairly sure they had the items I wanted...
There were NO Dr Pepper in the cooler case, but the delivery had pallets of the drink on the floor, so I took 2 out of the case, and went to the register...
I informed the young lady at the counter that I had taken these from the delivery case so when they counted in the product, it would be 2 short...
I was told I had to wait half an hour before they did the count, and refused to sell me what I had come in for... I work 10 hour days, and waiting around 30 mins for a them to count a product I HAD IN HAND IS UNACCEPTABLE...
I've worked retail, and you never EVER let a sale go out the door if you can help it... I could have just kept my mouth shut about where I got the product, and then they would not known why they were short on the count...
You lost a customer for good, Circle K... Valero and Chevron are just as close as your store is, and I'm sure they won't have a problem taking my business and my money...

Go into this location every morning for the past several years. NEVER AGAIN. Yesterday I went in and got my usual cup of coffee, juice and carton of smokes. Debit machine was down but they said the credit card portion was operable. I used my Debit/CC as credit and it did not work. I have a few thousand bucks in that account and never has it been declined unless it is a system error with the company. With that being said I had been waiting in line for approx. 5 mins and have been drinking my coffee. I said ok no problem but what am I supposed to do with my coffee. The woman's comment "Ill GIVE it to you THIS TIME". Now wait... Your system goes down and you embarrass me as if it is my fault, like my acct was declined. I plan on going in after work today and paying for that cup and NEVER WALKING into that store again.

Was treated like an inmate in the prison system by a guy who does not care about his job and said " I hope I do" when I told him he was gonna lose his job. To the Corporate individual that mandated the use of a FLAT 4" x 8" x 1/2" tray for use as a hotdog container, Did you even TRY using this "cheap, flimsy, weak cardboard "thing" to carry a hotdog in? I'm all for saving money and streamlining, but this decision of yours shows your stupidity. You may have made you friends in Corporate but you have truly angered customers.
I am very close to making my final purchase from your stores. in the early AM when you stop for coffee, your lucky find any available, creamer is non existent because you took out all but one dispenser. The minimal number of employees are so overworked they "can't make coffee or get to replacing the empty creamer dispenser (the one that remains). I hope you are given a proper job, such as pushing a rolling bucket and mop. And I certainly hope your hands get heavy wrinkles from using all those cleaning solutions. Janitorial work is all your qualified for.
By all means, economize. However, consider the "quality" of the service and products you end up giving to your customers. Making yourself look good to Corporate for a fatter bonus at our expense should get you a mop and a bucket.

Tonight went to the circle K on West 70th Street in Shreveport, Louisiana.I paid for prepaid gas left out the store go pump the gas on the screen say see cashier. I went inside the store ask what happen when the cashier name Kim .Who don't checkout told me that I took to long to pump the gas and it went back on the card.I told how when on the screen it said see cashier then she went in told me that she didn't care about me getting gas.Now I always go In this circle k for ice because it down the street. And it in black neighbor. So Kim must believe she can talk to customer any way because we are black.Kim always talk rude to customer about tonight she talk to wrong customer in that manner.

Her name is Reba and she work at the Gaffney SC location and she let her son and his friends come up to the store and get free stuff and I have done seen her son do a drug deal a few times.. I think if I have to pay full price for the things I want her and her family also should do the same and all the drug activity will be passed on to law enforcement

I stopped by at this location to purchase gas. I happened to pull up to pump 3. I got down to initiate the transaction at the pump I inserted my card in the slot to swipe the card, but as soon as I inserted my debit card it got stuck half way in. I tried pulling my card out since it was not fully inside the reader, but I could not get it to come out. So I had my daughter help me but both had no luck it was stuck. So I go into the store to ask the clerk if she possibly had a plier which I could borrow at first said yes but once I was explaining what had happened the other clerk said no that I would have to wait until tuesday when the manager was available I told her I would not wait that long and that it was a risk to leave my card half way stuck. She stated that she could not that I could not use a plier to gasp my card that would be tampering that its against the law etc... Told her that my card was not fully inserted in the slot but she like no she was been very rude in front of another customer so I asked the customer if he had a plier he said he may have one. The other clerk who was there I believe your daughter was the one who came to tell me that the card was stuck. I stopped her on her tracks and told her I don't pump gas here this is the first and no! My daughter did not come to tell you you got the wrong person. I so your telling that someone card got stuck and yet you guys did not place a notice or sign that the pay at the pump was not working. You guys knew but did not do nothing to advise the customers. If I had known I would have gone inside to pay. While the other clerk was no you can't do that. If you use a plier to pull it I will have to call the cops on you for tampering. I told her call them maybe they can help me get my card out since you guys are inepted clerks.. Yet she yelled it to me again she would have to call the cops. Im like you threating me... Then dont wait call them im waiting... Then she like you call them... I told her your the one thats going to call them since your threatening me.. All this is going on in front of the customer.. Told her well im going to wait then call them im not going to leave my card halfway inserted for some other customer that pulls up to pumps gas to pull card and run off and commit fraud. Luckly the customer that was in the store hearing all the b. S from the clerk who happened to be on the phone talking to her manager. Came out and was able to wiggle the card out. I went back inside demanded the managers number and would have a talk with her. And also told the clerk tell you manager I got the card out. And she mentioned after this she was going to place a notice at the terminal... Told thats what should have been done in the first place when the other customer who lost her card in the machine.. I'm so very disgusted with service this # rendered and threatening to call the police on me all this would have been avoided if they would have done there job efficiently. I was so livid that I did not pump gas at that station or purchase anything... I will no longer be doing business at this location nor with circle k. Its sad that I have family working for this chain
