Untrained, rude staff
Went into roadrunner market to make my daily purchases the cashier snatched my debit card out of the card reader it said oh no no no I hope that didn't go through that's not your transaction after she clearly rang in my items and I'm like what are you talking about she goes that wasn't your purchase it was someone else's purchase so I don't know if possibly they're running a scam on your register or on me as a customer I'll be waiting to check my bank account tomorrow. She's doing proceeded to yell at me telling me I was frustrated and to get out of her store denied me my receipt until I demanded my receipt after all she stated that I hope that that purchase didn't go through because it wasn't yours there was no one in line in front of me after a brief altercation trying to get my receipt from this woman I left the store I'm 55 years old and never in my life have seen such a display of behavior from a cashier or an employee of any store.
Desired outcome: Absolutely needs to be retrained and or fired
Store 6054
I have been in that store several times and one of the clerks is very rude to other customers her name is Hannah she gets attitude with you demands your Id right away even if your hands are full and if you tell her to hold on minute she get even more mad. She has no customer friendly skills at all she is to busy on her phone with a earbud in.
Desired outcome: I would like to see her reprimanded or moved to a different store. I shop here alot so maybe even fired because I work in retail too and would be like that to any customers no matter how rude they are to me
manager was inexcusably rude, refusing to acknowledge or ring up my purchases
The other worker asked if she would ring me up and Denise said no, three times. I barely know this person. I will endeavor in the future to avoid ever spending my hard-earned money there.
I am a nurse and very well-known in my area. I plan to tell everyone how rude the manager was and will suggest one of the other numerous convience stores in the area.
Desired outcome: She must apologize and explain why she was so rude to me--i was terribly embarrassed.

Employee
Female employee stood at door blocking the entrance. Did not want to allow access while on smoke brake. Employee looked liked a customer, didn't wear employees usual "uniform" smoking right at the door. Employee complained at register because customers where waiting for her to get off her phone to ring them up at the register. She had friends at door entrance, we did not feel safe entering the building while friends soliciting at entrance. June 25th around 11:15pm

Service from sales attendant
I pull up to get some gas, I walk in to the road runner market at 2887 West State St Bristol, TN 37620. I don't see the Attendant when I entered the store. I figure he was perhaps restocking. As I am standing at the counter he quickly rushes up there and is ancy as I am trying to be polite and make small talk with him about the gas shortages all over town...

And would not give me her name or corporate number. This is the roadrunner on buffalo trail in Morristown tn. On May 18th at 5 o clock. I've never met a more rude and delusional person in my life. I shop there everyday and they will never get me money again.

I go to this store every day. It is 3 minutes from my home. I know everyone that works there. Justin is AMAZING. Tonight, however there was a new old man working there. His name was Dwight Henderson. He would not listen to anything I was saying nor could answer a question. When he was scanning my rewards off my phone, told me it was not working. I then said...
Read full review of Roadrunner MarketDoors were locked/sign on the door
Came by around 6 ish this evening. Doors were locked...or blocked. Sign on the door stating employee was in the bathroom...and please don't knock on the door. I'm not irritated at the employee...obviously he/she had to "take care of business." However, it's extremely unprofessional and gives the company A bad customer service reputation. Perhaps you could invest in additional employees so the CUSTOMER won't have to stop at the competitor down the road.
Manager's behavior towards employees
I was once a daily customer to this store. Store # 6032. I have witnessed the managers behavior. She has a bully type of attitude and if I was the employee, I would take it to the labor board. There has been many incidents but not enough space to express myself. Also have witnesses and other employees that quit due to this manager. [protected] my #!

My husband and roommate went into the hot springs location on albert pike and was refused service because they are both transgender. The cashier, holly, said "I don't believe in that transgender [censored], so get the [censored] out of my store".
Discrimination is against the law. And we called and spoke to the district manager and he said "i'll have a meeting with them."
Very disappointed in this store and the way the manager is handling this. We're not taking this lightly. You don't have to agree and accept people's decisions but you cant discriminate against someone because "you don't believe in it".
poor customer service
I was in the above store on 7/9 at about 2:50pm. I noticed the 32oz fountain drinks were 99 cents but there were no cups. I asked the Male attendant if they were out of cups. He replied no and I asked for a cup. He was busy and a short time later a older female with long gray hair came out from the register and asked what I needed. I repeated my request and...

On 06/13/19 at 12:13 a.m. I stopped at this location after getting off work. Now I'm a manager at a major retail store. What I seen entering your store to me was very unacceptable! I'm 43 years old and have grey hair. I don't see the policy of roadrunner markets having to check my id every time I come in. I know all the employees at my store and they still ask for my id, they said it's a law, I researched and there is no such law in Tennessee. So I will be boycotting along with my family until something is done about this silly matter. My grandmother has to show her id at the roadrunner and she is 83. I think it's ridiculous!
Do your research again because there is a law asking for ID. Maybe if alcohol had not killed your brain cells you would be able to do proper research.
cashier/ manager
I am a black 44yr old women thats having problems gettin my tn id its complicated. On tuesday april 23, 2019 around 5:10pm and 5:30 pm. Anyway I went in the store with my white male friend to buy alcohol drinks. My male friend put the drinks on the counter and was pullin out his id and then pay for the idems. The cashier looked at me and asked me for my id I said I wasnt the one buyin the idems. She then said its was the tn state law to id anyone buying alcohol. I then said im not buyin it and she then said I had to leave the store so she could sell the alcohol to my male white friend. My thing is if me and my friend was together and she felt she had to card me and I didnt have an id why would u tell me to leave the store and sell it to the other person I was with. I got upset and was walking out the store leaving my friend to buy the idems and I called her a [censored] and she band me just for that reason. I was discriminated against and hermilated at this store and I will be seeking. Court persuading. Its was wrong all the way around. I had the store number but cant find it and I dont want to say the wrong store by its id store number. It was the one on lynn garden close to pals. And these was true events.
You were not discriminated against. They were just following the law. Besides you are not even old enough to drink in the first place. I hope you waste your money on a lawyer only to lose. You have no case.
If those stupid cashiers can’t determine that a person is of age to buy alcohol especially if they are grey headed like me or my grandmother, then they don’t need to be working there in the first place. You have to use common sense on who to id. And there is no law stating that you have to I’d EVERYONE in the state of Tn. It says if the person looks over 40 then the cashier uses his or her own judgment on wether to sell alcohol or tobacco. [censored] RR MKTS
Look at her spelling and grammar. Do you really believe that this person is 44 years old? Maybe you have a case, but the OP does not. Also I suggest that you work on your grammar before calling someone stupid.
