CitizenShipper Rescue screwed

I work with a rescue and they alotted me certain amount I entered the bid and was believed to be getting a bid for $450 but at check out it was $600 after I hit submit. I freaked out and immediately contacted the company. After 10 emails they will do absolutely nothing to locked money they didn’t earn. The dog now is aggressive and won’t be able to ship it. So after all that they won’t refund me after few mins that I don’t want to use them. Buyer beware!

Recommendation: Do not book unless you never want to see your money again!!!

CitizenShipper Don't trust them to come through for you in the event of loss

As a first time user, I hired someone who seemed direct and confident, whose prices fell in line with other quotes and in the end, came $24 lower than any other. My first bid stopped working and I lost communication with the driver who had offered to hold his price open for a few days so the seller could get a certificate of health; had to reopen a bid and looked for him again since we were already talking. (Big mistake.) Regardless, the driver and seller were from the same state, but the driver tried to tell me he didn't need this certificate of health from a vet, while the seller told me it's illegal to ship from that state without one.

Driver acted odd from there on out, pushing back delivery date. He angered my seller by pushing out pick up date from afternoon (around 4pm) New Year's Eve to 2am on Jan. 2. She had reluctantly agreed to him arriving late night Jan. 1, but he showed up at 2am the next morning. He told me, though, that she was not answering his calls. She told us that he was not answering hers or communicating back to his messages. Later I found out he acted bizarre and drive into her yard when he arrived. All of this feels like a Grade B movie plot - but wait, there's more!

Long story short, I had to leave my house because driver came in so late on the day of delivery to get him off the road because he was falling asleep while driving. I still have no idea how, but 10 hours are "missing" from his itinerary promised in my first (lost) string of messages. He showed up in shorts from a delivery he made to Florida - my route was from Michigan to New England. Based on what I learned later, I think he drove from Florida back home to Michigan and didn't stop to rest before trying to make my delivery. (More about that below.)

I had a harness and bought a very short leash at 2am at our (new) meet up spot because when I left the house I forgot my normal leash. Driver assured me his equipment was better, though; mine was not needed. "His equipment" was a frayed rope ? probably the same broken leash described below. I should not have trusted him ever - the moment the dog got out of the car he slipped out of his collar and the rope leash the driver was using and ran away. I found out later that was easily preventable. Driver accepted cash payment in full. ($575). (I thought my dog was the only one he was driving and felt awful that he was upset and had driven a long way.)

To his credit, driver at least stayed for 10 hours or so trying to catch dog in the middle of the night while I went home to take my husband to hospital for scheduled procedure. (The sheriff came because he drove his car into a field to catch the dog while I was gone, lol.) Driver was so nice, but something was also so, so wrong. I wish I'd not fallen for his smooth talk.

Dog was recovered two weeks later after extensive work from a local dog rescue group and help from the community I had lost him in. He had to go back to the vet and has frostbite on his feet from being outdoors in the winter for so long. When I called to let the driver know I got him and was taking him to be seen, he asked if there were any bills, then told me he would help with the vet bill. But when I sent it to him a few days later, he ghosted me. I didn't even ask for the whole thing (it was $472 ? and remember, I just paid to have a health certificate issued from a vet right before the dog got in his car.). But he just clammed up and refused to acknowledge he had ever promised me a cent.

After I didn't hear from him again for a week even after follow up and getting CitizenShipper involved, the only thing he said to me, in response to an online review telling others all of this, was that I "lie a lot" and to "drop dead." Greaaattttt ? how professional to treat your angry client whose dog you lost in your hands. Take their money, run, and tell them to "drop dead" when they say their piece. (Guess what driver - I could get the video from the gas station I had you meet me at if I wanted!)

What's worse, I reported this to CitizenShipper, and there appear to have been no consequences. Driver's profile is still active and his job count rose last week after they said they'd talk to him.

CitizenShipper suggested a pet insurance claim for my vet bill. But they denied it 24 hours later and changed the reason for denying three times. Each time I rebutted their points, and they refused to get a manager involved like I repeatedly asked. (Maybe they thought I was a Karen?). Granted, I was pretty mad, but ? how ridiculous. They couldn't even help me get a portion of my money back from this driver. They only refunded my website fee ($105) after I filed a credit card dispute with them. Yikes. That's the first thing they should have offered.

On the pet insurance claim, first they said it was my fault the dog was lost for letting the driver drive tired. I explained how I intervened to stop the danger as soon as I became aware of it. Then they said the fact that a leash broke during the seller's 2am handoff made it her fault. (I asked then why didn't he keep the dog in the car until I gave him mine?). Finally they said I couldn't collect on the claim because the seller, under pressure from the driver, allowed the dog to go with THEIR driver in a car without a crate. They said that somehow the dog slipping out of his collar in this driver's hands was preventable if he had been crated. Whatever.

(By the way, I told him I was more comfortable with a crate and wouldn't get weird like some people (seemed like they) do about needing a dog to be able to roam free without one. I didn't know when I said that, by USDA regulation, he was REQUIRED to crate the dog. He gave a crate to another litter of puppies on the same day. Not mine, though. I found that out from the seller afterwards.)

The driver told me when I came back from the hospital the morning of the loss that he had been driving for 48 hours straight, or similar. This is why I think he was cramming too many jobs back to back with mine. He was emotionally fragile and talked about how lack of sleep affected his judgement. Indeed it did. He was nice until he knew that my $1250 dog didn't get hit by a car, two weeks after a non-profit spent a bunch of time and money helping me recover the dog from a rural, forested area. But then a guy who wouldn't spring for a $100 hotel room (said it gave him "sticker shock") told me to drop dead over asking for his promised help with a vet bill. Not a cent was seen, and he conveniently forgot the vet bill was less than a full refund of what I paid him, and much less than the price of the dog to begin with.

Driver also tried to convince me the dog was abused and that's why he was nervous with him. It's very, very clear now that we've recovered him he's a very happy and confident dog who was just scared out of his mind from being driven the way he was driven.

None of those actions were my fault, and yet, me and my pet suffered nonetheless. And I'm out a lot of money for a middle class working mom. Not the driver or CitizenShipper though! They circled the wagons and are jusssst fine. I think my emotions hit me sometime after I got the dog back and I could see how hurt and scared he had been the whole time. No one should have to go through this to get their fur baby, let alone pay for it.

Buyer beware - what you don't know CAN hurt you.

CitizenShipper Warning: Terrible Experience with CitizenShipper Transporter Nesta Howell - Pets Abandoned in Texas

So, I had a really bad experience with CitizenShipper. I paid Nesta Howell over $1,000 to transport my pets from Fort Worth, Texas to North Carolina. But guess what? My pets are still in Texas! Can you believe it?

Nesta Howell is refusing to give me my money back or even try to deliver my pets. One of my pets got sick before leaving Texas and she just left them at the Vet Clinic. Can you imagine? The Vet Clinic told her that the cats were cleared to travel, but she didn't care and just left them there. Luckily, my mother was able to pick up our three healthy pets.

But here's the thing, abandoned pets can end up being euthanized. It's really sad and heartbreaking. I've been asking Nesta Howell for a refund or at least some of my money back because she didn't deliver my pets. But she just keeps refusing and being really rude and argumentative.

Honestly, Nesta Howell is not a good person to deal with. She's very unprofessional and heartless. She took my money and didn't deliver what she promised. I wouldn't trust her with anything.

CitizenShipper, I really think you should block her account and protect other families from this kind of fraud and emotional distress. It's just not right. And Nesta Howell, well, she's just not to be trusted.

CitizenShipper Driver's perspective of CitizenShipper: Pros and Cons to Consider before Joining

As a driver who signed up for CitizenShipper, I would like to offer some advice for anyone considering joining the platform. While there are certainly benefits to using the site, including the ability to connect with potential customers and make some extra money, there are also some significant drawbacks to be aware of.

First and foremost is the fact that CitizenShipper may lock your account at any time, for any reason. This is particularly frustrating given that drivers are required to pay a monthly subscription fee to be able to use the site. Some drivers report having their accounts locked simply for missing a call, while others say that they were not given any warning or explanation at all. This lack of transparency and customer support is a major concern for many drivers.

Another issue to be aware of is the way that CitizenShipper handles reviews. Unlike other sites where only confirmed customers can leave feedback, anyone can leave a review of a driver on CitizenShipper - even if they have never actually used their services. This can be incredibly frustrating for drivers, as negative reviews can potentially cost them business and seriously impact their earnings. Additionally, there have been reports of racism and bias in reviews, which is obviously unacceptable and a serious problem on the platform.

Finally, many drivers report that shippers on CitizenShipper do not ship on time, and that there is a significant amount of waiting involved in using the site. This can be frustrating for drivers who are looking to make quick and efficient trips, as it may take longer than expected to find a shipment to transport. Additionally, having to wait around for shippers who are not prompt can be a waste of time.

Despite these concerns, there are certainly drivers who have had success using CitizenShipper. For those who are looking for a more casual, low-stakes way to make some extra money, the site may be worth considering. However, it's important to go into it with your eyes open and be aware of the potential risks and challenges involved. Hopefully, this review has been helpful in providing some insight into what you can expect as a driver on CitizenShipper.

CitizenShipper Beware of CitizenShipper: Flaws in Service and Customer Support Put Users at Risk

CitizenShipper is a platform that connects people who need to transport pets or other goods with drivers who are willing to make the journey. However, one customer's experience suggests that the site may not always live up to its promises.

According to the review, the customer posted a job and received three responses. Two drivers did not follow up, while the third sounded promising. However, the customer noticed a bad review of the driver and contacted customer service for clarification. The representative apparently said that the driver had more positive ratings than negative, but this did not alleviate the customer's concerns.

The driver then insisted on receiving full payment via wire transfer, which the customer refused. After suggesting Zelle or Paypal, the driver allegedly indicated that these options would involve a seven-day delay, and demanded immediate payment in order to secure the job. The customer eventually agreed to pay 50 percent upfront and the rest upon delivery of the puppy.

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when the driver failed to show up or provide any updates. The customer was forced to resort to desperate measures to transport the puppy, including buying an additional kennel and paying for a carry-on. The cost of the entire endeavor ended up being higher than anticipated, and the customer understandably felt defrauded by CitizenShipper.

Overall, the review suggests that CitizenShipper may have some serious flaws in its business model. The lack of background checks or credit reports on drivers could be problematic, especially when combined with the platform's hands-off approach to payments. The customer also notes that the site does not offer any meaningful customer service, leaving individuals to fend for themselves in the event of a dispute. These issues could cause potential users to think twice before using CitizenShipper, and the company may need to address them if it hopes to build a sustainable reputation.

CitizenShipper WARNING: Do Not Use CitizenShipper - My Dog Died Due to Negligence by Transporter TJ/Tiara Royal/Tiara Alsaid. CitizenShipper Has No Oversight

I cannot stress this enough - do not under any circumstances use CitizenShipper. My experience with them was a complete nightmare and resulted in the death of my beloved dog. I chose to use the service to transport my pet to a new location, but unfortunately encountered a transporter named TJ, also known as Tiara Royal or Tiara Alsaid, who proved to be incredibly negligent and irresponsible with my dog's care.

Initially, I thought everything was going well - TJ kept in touch with me for the first two days of the trip and sent me a photo of my dog on the road. However, after that, she completely disappeared and I had no further communication with her until day five. When she finally called me, she asked me to meet her at a McDonald's nearby. When I arrived, I found my dog's crate on the ground and my dog was nowhere in sight.

To my horror, TJ informed me my dog had choked on something earlier and she'd performed CPR to try and save him. However, when I saw my dog, he was cold, lifeless and already decaying, displaying obvious signs of heatstroke. A veterinarian later informed me that he had been dead for at least two days before I found him.

I cannot express enough how upset and traumatized I was by this experience. It is clear that TJ is not fit to care for animals, and the fact that she is still associated with CitizenShipper is unacceptable. It later came to my attention that she is not authorized to transport pets and has outstanding warrants in Texas. It's also worth noting that she was using someone else's account to obtain jobs.

It's important for pet owners to be aware of the dangers of using a service like CitizenShipper. The lack of regulation and oversight means that anyone can be a transporter, regardless of their abilities or credentials. I strongly advise anyone reading this to look for another service that is more reliable and transparent, and which will put the safety and wellbeing of your pets first. Please, do not risk your pet's life by using CitizenShipper.

CitizenShipper Terrible Experience with CitizenShipper: Unreliable and Unprofessional Service

My experience with CitizenShipper was absolutely terrible. I was looking for a reliable and trustworthy service to transport my pets to Florida, and after much research, I decided to give CitizenShipper a try. I booked my shipment two weeks in advance and anxiously waited for the pick-up day to arrive. However, only 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, the driver assigned to me sent a text message informing me that the entire route and timeframe of the shipment had been changed, and that an overnight stop in South Carolina would now be required. Needless to say, I was taken aback by this sudden change, especially since I had never spoken to the driver before.

I immediately expressed my deep dissatisfaction with this renegotiation, but to my surprise, the driver simply cancelled the shipment altogether. At this point, I had no other choice but to find an alternate solution to transport my pets to Florida. When I called CitizenShipper's management seeking assistance, they were not helpful at all. In fact, they bluntly advised me to go on their website and find another driver. I found this to be extremely unprofessional and half-witted.

I was disappointed with the entire experience with CitizenShipper, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. When it comes to transporting your beloved pets, reliability, trustworthiness, and professionalism are of the utmost importance, and CitizenShipper failed to deliver on all counts. Instead, I would strongly suggest finding another company who cares about their customers, and has the ability to run a company with integrity and transparency. There are many other companies out there who can do this job BETTER than CitizenShipper.

CitizenShipper CitizenShipper's Negligence Puts Animals at Risk: My Disappointing Experience

As an animal lover and responsible pet owner, I am deeply concerned about the welfare of my furry friends during transit. Unfortunately, my experience with CitizenShipper has left me questioning the safety and reliability of their services.

In July of this year, I hired CitizenShipper to transport my beloved puppy from Florida to California. The transport company picked up my puppy on July 17th, and initially, all seemed to be going well. However, after receiving one video update four hours later, all communication abruptly ceased.

Naturally, I became worried and contacted CitizenShipper to investigate the situation. They promised to look into the matter and get back to me, but there was no response from them for several days. Finally, on July 19th, the transport company contacted me to say that my puppy, along with two others, had been stolen from their vehicle.

According to them, they had rented a hotel that didn't allow pets, and left the puppies in the car overnight. However, my persistent investigations around the police report proved that their story was fabricated, and they had actually lied about the hotel in question. Being a pet parent, I was inconsolable to know that my puppy had been placed in such a risky and insecure situation.

To make matters worse, CitizenShipper refused to take responsibility for the incident or offer any adequate compensation. Instead, they simply apologised for my loss and suggested that I speak to the transporter who, unfortunately, had disconnected their phones.

This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I am worried about the safety of animals in the care of CitizenShipper. I believe that they need to take more stringent measures to vet their drivers and ensure their client's trust and security.

CitizenShipper Negative Experience with CitizenShipper: Scammed Out of $309 Through Platform

Unfortunately, this review shares a very negative experience with CitizenShipper. The reviewer was scammed out of a down payment of $309 through the platform, which is an incredibly frustrating and upsetting situation. The reviewer had found a great deal on a shipping service, but was told to pay through PayPal by the seller. Thinking that this was secure, the reviewer went ahead with the payment. Sadly, the seller never showed up, leaving the reviewer without their money and without their shipping service.

When the reviewer reached out to CitizenShipper to try and find a solution, they were told that since they had not paid through the platform, there was nothing that could be done. This left the reviewer feeling even more frustrated and helpless. They had no intention of avoiding CitizenShipper and had simply followed the instructions given to them by the seller.

Adding insult to injury, the reviewer is currently experiencing other stressors in their life, such as being a new mother and having a spouse in active duty. CitizenShipper's handling of the situation has only added to their stress and feelings of being taken advantage of. They are now working with their bank to try and recover the stolen funds.

Overall, it's a deeply troubling experience, and the fact that CitizenShipper did not investigate the seller further after this incident is concerning. The seller's name is provided in the review as Albert H, so anyone using the platform would do well to avoid working with them. At the same time, it's important to approach any kind of online transaction with caution to ensure that you don't fall victim to a scam similar to this one. It's also worth considering other shipping platforms that may have additional security measures in place.

CitizenShipper Unsatisfactory Experience with CitizenShipper: Lack of Communication and Multiple Hidden Fees

As an individual who utilized the services of CitizenShipper (citizenshipper.com), I am extremely disappointed to report my negative experience with the company. In regards to transferring my kitten from California to Texas, I was not informed of any additional costs other than the shipping fee required by the owner. Unfortunately, my experience with CitizenShipper only worsened from there, as a multitude of unanticipated fees were subsequently disclosed to me without any upfront communication.

To begin, I was informed of a crate rental fee of $1520, which I would have otherwise not expected. After the kitten was transferred to a layover location in Colorado, I was then alerted to the fact that if I did not pay an additional $1500 for insurance, my kitten would be considered as abandoned. Proper communication on this issue beforehand would have been greatly appreciated.

When my kitten finally arrived in Texas on a flight that was booked by CitizenShipper, I was initially told that drop off would be possible. Unfortunately, I was then informed that drop-offs cannot occur after 7pm, and thus overnight care would be necessary. This added unexpected cost was not ideal, but I agreed to it.

The situation only exacerbated from there when I was immediately hit with another fee of $980 for vaccinations. Furthermore, CitizenShipper then informed me that since my kitten had been under their care for over 16 hours, quarantine was necessary unless I paid $3200 more. At this point, I was thoroughly fed up with the lack of communication and transparency from the company, and made the decision to seek out an alternative solution for my kitten's transfer.

Overall, my experience with CitizenShipper left much to be desired. The numerous unexpected fees, lack of upfront communication, and overall handling of the situation all compounded into a disappointing ordeal.

CitizenShipper Warning: Traumatic Experience with CitizenShipper's Pet Transportation Service

It is with great disappointment that I write this review about CitizenShipper (citizenshipper.com). My recent experience with their pet transportation service was nothing short of a nightmare. As a pet parent, I entrusted CitizenShipper with the safe transportation of my precious pet, only to have her arrive malnourished and sick with a cold and stomach issues, ten days after her scheduled arrival. It was an ordeal that left me traumatized, and quite frankly, horrified by the negligence that my pet had to endure.

My pet was dropped off with a crate that didn't even contain a wee pad at 4am, and was full of urine, indicating that she had been left without enough care during her travels. This lack of care continued, as CitizenShipper barely communicated, and lied about their whereabouts every day to both the breeder and myself. As a result, my pet's well-being was put at risk, which can be attested to by how skittish she has become since that harrowing experience.

I had paid for CitizenShipper's services, with a travel time of just 5-6 days. Instead, my pet arrived after 10 days, with only enough food for six days. CitizenShipper was unresponsive to calls and emails, as I pleaded for their intervention with the woman driver who drove my pet through literally 12 states so she could keep adding more animals to her cargo. This conduct was unacceptable, and I was appalled to learn that it was all about money, and not the well-being of the pets under CitizenShipper's care.

I would, therefore, caution pet owners against using CitizenShipper's services, and, in particular, the driver mentioned in this review. The experience was traumatic and left a lot to be desired about CitizenShipper's commitment to their customers' satisfaction and pets' welfare. Instead, I urge pet owners to be cautious, and perhaps look around for a more reliable, professional pet transportation service provider.

CitizenShipper Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with CitizenShipper

When I decided to send a puppy to a client with a limited budget, I turned to CitizenShipper as they had been reaching out to me for some time, promising to waive their service fee for first-time customers. However, this turned out to be false advertising, and despite contacting Kristen Stewart as promised, I received no response from CitizenShipper. When I reached out to another representative, I still received no response, and I decided to book with another company based on their excellent reviews and my trust in their abilities to transport my puppy safely.

Unfortunately, a week after booking with CitizenShipper, they apologized for double-booking and asked me to have a family member drop off the puppy for me. I requested a cancellation, which was confirmed both in a text to me and on the website email. However, despite sending over 20 emails requesting a refund, I have yet to receive one. When I submitted these emails and text messages, they offered me another shipper, which was not the solution I was looking for.

As someone who values ethical business practices, I was disappointed to experience such dishonesty from CitizenShipper, especially when their website clearly states a 100% shipment guarantee or money back. Buyer beware of these misleading promises, and do not make the same mistake I did by trusting this company.

CitizenShipper Unreliable Transporter & Lack of Vetting: My Disappointing Experience with CitizenShipper

I recently had an unpleasant experience with CitizenShipper and one of their transporters named Tim. While Tim agreed to transport my two beloved Rottweilers from Missouri to Lebanon, Oregon, along with their necessary supplies, the outcome was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, my dogs were safely delivered to my son, but I soon discovered that Tim had failed to deliver the 50-foot and 25-foot chains, a basketball, a football, and all the dog food that was supposed to accompany them.

I immediately contacted Tim to inquire about the missing items, and to my surprise, he informed me that he had lost the toys and accidentally left the dog food behind because he was allergic to it. This was a complete shock to me, especially given the fact that I had stayed in communication with him throughout the entire trip.

I was disappointed that he failed to inform me of any issues while my dogs were in transit, and instead waited until I confronted him about the missing items. Furthermore, I feel that his lack of clarity and reliability are unacceptable, and at this point, I cannot recommend Tim or CitizenShipper's services to anyone else.

What's even more concerning is that I question if CitizenShipper's website vetting process truly verifies the experience and qualifications of their transporters. It's essential for the safety and well-being of pets and their owners to ensure that reputable and reliable individuals are handling the transportation.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with CitizenShipper services and the transporter they offered, Tim. I will not be using their services again and advise others to be cautious before booking with them.

CitizenShipper Playing Russian Roulette: My Experience with CitizenShipper.com

to playing Russian roulette.

My experience with CitizenShipper.com was a complete nightmare. I had booked a Friday morning pick-up for my beloved pet, which turned into a Saturday afternoon pick-up. This would have been bearable had the delivery not been delayed by a staggering 16 hours. As a concerned pet owner, I had been in constant communication with the driver, who exhibited strange behavior and seemed to be out of touch with reality. I had documented all this through text messages and brought it to the attention of the customer service team.

To my utter dismay, the customer service team failed to acknowledge the severity of the situation and dismissively stated that it was not the driver's fault. This was despite the concrete evidence I had provided that clearly indicated otherwise. It was extremely concerning and frustrating to see that the company was unable to take responsibility for the actions of its driver.

To add insult to injury, the company refused to share specific information about the driver's identity, citing privacy concerns. This led me to wonder – if they cannot be transparent about their own drivers, how can they ensure the safety and well-being of our pets while in transit with a complete stranger?

Given my harrowing experience, I would strongly advise other pet owners to exercise caution when using CitizenShipper.com. The risk involved is too high, akin to playing Russian roulette with your pet's life. To ensure their safety and well-being, it might be much safer and advisable to seek other modes of pet transportation.

CitizenShipper Avoid CitizenShipper at All Costs: A Review of My Horrible Experience with Their Inadequate Service and Support

As a customer of CitizenShipper, I must say that my experience with them has been far from satisfactory. When I encountered issues, I found that getting any help or support from them was a nightmare. I could only communicate with them through emails, and even then, I did not receive any responses from them.

One of the drivers provided by CitizenShipper went considerably off-route, which led to a delay in my VIP solo trip. To make things worse, the driver even resorted to calling me names, which was completely unprofessional and uncalled for.

Another driver from RNR Pets & Stuff arrived five hours late to pick up my 2lb chihuahua. On top of that, the driver planned to feed my pet only once a day, which was not acceptable since I had requested more frequent feedings. When I reached out to CitizenShipper regarding this issue, they failed to take any action or facilitate any sort of conflict resolution.

To add to my frustration, CitizenShipper's drivers seem to be inadequately screened. RNR Pets & Stuff displayed a clear record of speeding violations on Life360 - a tracking app - and their driver even boasted that they had previously driven for CitizenShipper. This goes against CitizenShipper's policy, but they did not seem to care at all.

Furthermore, I found that CitizenShipper's customer service hours are limited to weekdays only, which left me stranded and helpless over the weekend.

Despite providing screenshots as proof of the issues I faced, CitizenShipper still did not take responsibility for leading me to RNR Pets & Stuff, a company that clearly does not properly train its employees and put my pet's safety at risk.

All in all, I would advise people to avoid CitizenShipper at all costs. There are other transport companies out there that offer better service, support, and customer care. I learned this the hard way, but you can take my mistakes as a cautionary tale and save yourself the headache and hassle of dealing with terrible companies like CitizenShipper and RNR Pets & Stuff.
