Review: Clemson Lofts - Spacious, Convenient, and Modern Living
Clemson Lofts is a pretty cool place to live. They got all the stuff you need, like on-site management and courtesy patrols. Plus, each apartment has its own bathroom, which is super convenient. The floorplans are really spacious, so you got plenty of room to move around and do your thing.
One thing I really like about Clemson Lofts is that they got full-size washer and dryers in each unit. That means you don't gotta go to some gross laundromat and deal with all those weirdos. And the kitchens are really nice too, with granite counters and stainless finish appliances. They even got a dishwasher and disposal, so you don't gotta do all the dishes by hand like some kind of caveman.
The cabinets are custom-made maple, which is pretty fancy if you ask me. And the floors are ceramic tile, so they're easy to clean and look really nice. The sound insulation is top-notch too, so you don't gotta hear your neighbors doing weird stuff all the time.
The ceilings are high, which makes the place feel even more spacious. And some of the units even have exposed ductwork, which is pretty cool if you're into that kind of thing. The central air and heat pump keep the place at a comfortable temperature all year round.
Oh, and some of the units even have porch and deck space, which is perfect for hanging out and enjoying the nice weather. Overall, I'd say Clemson Lofts is a pretty sweet place to live.
Review of Clemson Lofts: A Solid Choice for Off-Campus Living with Great Amenities and Friendly Staff
Clemson Lofts is a pretty cool place to live if you're looking for a spot off-campus. There are a lot of places to live around Clemson, but the Lofts are definitely a solid choice. One of the best things about living here is that you've got a whole team of people working to keep the place in good shape. The maintenance team is always on top of things, and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
I've been living at the Lofts for a while now, and I've gotta say, it's been a pretty sweet setup. The apartments are spacious and well-maintained, and there's a lot of cool amenities on site. There's a pool, a gym, and even a game room with a pool table and ping pong. Plus, there's always something going on, whether it's a cookout or a movie night.
Of course, there are a few downsides to living here. For one thing, it can be a bit pricey. But honestly, I think it's worth it for all the perks you get. And hey, if you're splitting the rent with a roommate or two, it's not too bad.
The only real bummer this year was that we didn't win the national championship. But hey, you can't win 'em all, right? Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking out Clemson Lofts if you're in the market for a new place to live. It's a great spot with a lot to offer.
Avoid Clemson Lofts: Terrible Management, Run-Down Apartments, and Inconvenient Location
Let me tell you, Clemson Lofts is not worth it. I rented there for three years and it was a nightmare. The management is terrible and they don't care about their tenants at all. When I tried to use them as a reference for a new apartment, they delayed my move-in by two whole days. I had to stay in a hotel and it cost me almost 400 bucks a night. It was a huge inconvenience and I was so frustrated.
The apartments themselves are not great either. They are old and run-down, and the maintenance crew is slow to fix anything. I had a leaky faucet for months and it was never fixed properly. The walls are thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. It's not a very peaceful place to live.
The location is okay, but there are definitely better options in Clemson. It's close to campus, but it's also right next to the train tracks so you'll hear trains going by all the time. The parking situation is also a mess. There are not enough spots for everyone and people often park in spots that aren't theirs.
Overall, I would not recommend Clemson Lofts. There are better options out there. The management is terrible, the apartments are run-down, and the location is not ideal. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
Shady Business Practices at Clemson Lofts: A Review
I gotta say, Clemson Lofts ain't all sunshine and rainbows. One of the dudes who runs the place doesn't seem to know jack about real estate or managing properties. They'll charge you for stuff without even giving you a heads up or explaining what's going on. And good luck getting a call back from them, it's like they're allergic to their phones or something.
But that's not even the worst part. They wait until all the college kids head home for break before they inspect the units, so they don't have to explain their "findings" or charges. It's like they're trying to pull a fast one on us or something. And parents, watch out, 'cause they'll nickel and dime you to death.
But hey, it's not all bad. The units themselves are pretty sweet, and the maintenance guys are cool and look out for the kids. So if you're willing to put up with some shady business practices, Clemson Lofts might be worth checking out. Just be careful, y'all.
Clemson Lofts: Upgrade or Downgrade? A Review of My Living Experience
My apartment at Clemson Lofts is definitely an upgrade from my previous living situation, but I've had nothing but problems since moving in. If you have guests over and they park in the seemingly empty lot, they'll get towed. Even if you just want to play with your dog in the gated area when the pool is closed, you'll get in trouble. And don't even get me started on the mail - it takes forever to get put out.
If you're someone who likes to keep cool at night, be prepared to shell out $100 for a floor fan because the AC just doesn't cut it. And if you have a hypoallergenic dog that doesn't shed, you'll still have to pay a huge fee plus an extra monthly fee.
I've been in Clemson for three years now and I can't wait to graduate and get out of here. The constant issues at Clemson Lofts have made my time here less than enjoyable.
Surprisingly Impressed: A Review of Clemson Lofts Off-Campus Living
I gotta say, I was pretty surprised when I checked out Clemson Lofts. I mean, there ain't a whole lot of options for off-campus living, but these guys really stood out. The place was clean as a whistle, and the staff was chill but still on top of things. And when I talked to some of the students who lived there, they all had good things to say. I even signed up to pre-lease a spot for next year, and I'm feeling pretty good about it.
I almost didn't even check out Clemson Lofts because of some negative reviews I saw online. But when I asked the leasing person about it, she explained that they had some trouble meeting deadlines because of the city of Clemson. She said it was a real pain in the butt, but they pushed through it. And honestly, everything looks pretty solid to me.
Out of all the options I looked at, Clemson Lofts is definitely my top pick. I'd recommend it to anyone, even my family and friends.
Clemson Lofts: A Yelp Scam and Poorly Built Apartments
I'm writing this review because I feel like the folks who run Clemson Lofts are more interested in keeping their Yelp score high than they are in making sure their apartments are up to snuff. It's pretty fishy that out of the 11 reviews that have been marked "not helpful" on Yelp, 8 of them were 1-star reviews. It seems like they're trying to hide something.
And don't even get me started on the 5-star reviews that are obviously fake. It's pretty clear that the Lofts are trying to game the system and make themselves look better than they really are.
As for the apartments themselves, they're just not good. I agree with pretty much every 1-star review I've read. It's hard to believe that anyone could give this place 5 stars. The management is only interested in making money, and they don't care about their tenants at all.
The apartments are poorly built, with cheap materials and shoddy workmanship. Doors don't fit properly, and the fake hardwood floors are constantly peeling up. It's a mess.
I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that there are much better places to live in Clemson, and you can usually find them for less money. Don't waste your time or your money on Clemson Lofts.
Avoid Clemson Lofts: Outrageous Fees, Rude Manager, and Poor Maintenance
Do not even think about living in Clemson Lofts unless you want to deal with a bunch of ridiculous fees, have maintenance people barging into your apartment whenever they feel like it, or have to put up with a property manager, Jason Smith, who is just plain rude! I have a dog living with me, so I paid the $385 pet fee before I moved in, and I pay the additional monthly fee with my rent. My dog damaged a small section of the baseboard, and they wanted to charge me over $200 to fix it, even though the two maintenance guys who came to appraise the damage said it would only cost around $70. When I tried to argue with them about the outrageous charge, they threatened to take away my pet privileges, even though I had followed all the rules and paid all the fees. And to make matters worse, even though they demanded that I pay the repair fee within three days of finding the damage, it's been two months and they still haven't fixed it!
The "pet waste" trash cans are always overflowing with garbage, and the landscaping beyond the first row of buildings is a complete mess, with overgrown grass and weeds, dead bushes, and ant hills everywhere. The people in the office don't seem to know what they're doing, because they give different answers to the same questions than what the property manager says. If you put in a maintenance request, be prepared to wait a long time or to call them repeatedly to check on the status of your request. And don't expect them to keep you updated on anything.
As for the appliances and the state of the apartment itself, the flooring is cheap and scratches easily. The baseboards don't even touch the laminate flooring, leaving a gap where bugs can crawl in. The refrigerator has broken down several times, and instead of replacing it, they just keep doing quick fixes that only last for a short time. There are no fans in the apartment, so you'll have to buy your own, and the air conditioning won't let you set it below 70 degrees, even when it's sweltering outside. If you accidentally get something on the wall and try to clean it off with water, the paint comes off too. And even though you pay a "cleaning deposit" fee, you might still find disgusting surprises like a clogged shower drain left by the previous tenant. And don't even get me started on the terrible wifi that hardly ever works!
Honestly, I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. Stay far away from Clemson Lofts if you value your sanity and your wallet!
Avoid Clemson Lofts: Poor Maintenance, Uncomfortable Inspections, and Unfair Fees
There are so many reasons why you shouldn't live at Clemson Lofts. I've been living here for a year now and I'm so fed up with this place and its employees. I mean, everything breaks here! From the windows to the flooring, it's all falling apart. They even had to screw in 2x4 wood planks under the kitchen sinks because they were falling through. And don't even get me started on the maintenance workers. They'll say anything to get you to sign a lease, but once you're in, they'll deny everything.
During inspections, they only send male workers, which can be really uncomfortable if you live with all girls. And they don't even bother to knock before entering your apartment. My roommate once walked out of the shower to find a maintenance worker standing in her room! And when you request a repair, they never come to fix it. They'll even say they've completed the repair when they haven't. It's ridiculous.
And don't even get me started on the fees. They make you pay a $150 nonrefundable fee for cleaning and damages, but then they'll charge you $100 per piece of trash they find and $50 per spiderweb. And if you don't steam clean your carpets, they'll charge you another $150 fee. It's like they're just trying to squeeze every penny out of you.
Even renewing your lease is a nightmare. They make you renew by October 1st, which is way earlier than any other apartment complex. And if you do renew, they'll raise your monthly fee even if you've been there since the beginning. It's just not fair.
The gym equipment is always breaking, and the pool was recently closed for some unknown reason. And when they finally opened the clubhouse, it flooded because they didn't tighten a pipe all the way. They promised grills and pool chairs, but there are none. And they like to say that everything is "free," but my brother who's a lawyer in D.C. says that's not true. They're just trying to avoid responsibility when things break.
Honestly, this place is only concerned about money, not its residents. They'll do anything to get an extra dollar. I wouldn't recommend staying here at all. They're not even local, so they don't know South Carolina building codes. And if you do decide to live here, make sure to record all your conversations with them. They lie about everything and then lie some more when you call them out.
So, good luck finding a place to live, but I'd suggest looking elsewhere. You'd probably be better off living on the streets.
Avoid Clemson Lofts: Terrible Management and Unlivable Conditions
Clemson Lofts is not a place you want to consider living in. I had a terrible experience with their management team, who were unresponsive and unhelpful. I tried to contact them multiple times, but they never returned my calls. It took my attorney getting involved for them to finally respond. Jason S. is supposed to be in charge, but he is terrible at his job. He has too much experience in rental management, but he doesn't seem interested in correcting any lease violations on their part.
My daughter attempted to move into a two-bedroom apartment before fall classes began. However, the bedroom she was leasing had been leased by a dog owner before her arrival. We contacted Clemson Lofts to inquire if the carpet would be cleaned before the move-in date, and they assured us it would be. Unfortunately, the room had a horrible odor, and there were bugs along the framework and baseboard. We had to cancel the furniture delivery because of the smell. Additionally, the second bedroom was apparently being sublet for the summer, which is against the lease contract. My daughter's roommate had not yet arrived for fall classes, and she was scared for her safety. We contacted the management office, but they referred us to maintenance and did nothing to address our concerns.
Our lawyer informed us that we had no choice but to pay the lease or receive a bad credit rating and accumulate additional late fees. We are now on the hook for a $650 per month lease payment until July. I regret ever considering Clemson Lofts and signing a lease with them. My daughter did not sleep one night in the leased apartment and had to find other housing. It's unclear to me why this business is able to accumulate so many negative responses and still not be investigated. I strongly suggest you read the negative reviews on Yelp as well.
Be a smart consumer and look elsewhere for housing. There are plenty of other options available. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Beware of Clemson Lofts: Bait and Switch, Unannounced Painting, and Negligent Owner
So, I moved into Clemson Lofts and signed a contract, but then they pulled a bait and switch on me. They promised me one thing, but then gave me something totally different. And to make matters worse, they started painting while I was still living there! Can you believe that? They didn't even bother to ask me if it was okay. And to top it all off, they pulled down all of my wall hangings and left a huge mess. I mean, come on! The owner won't even return my phone calls. It's like they don't even care about their tenants. So, if you're thinking about moving into Clemson Lofts, beware! You might end up regretting it.
Stay Away from Clemson Lofts: Poor Customer Service and Greedy Practices During COVID-19
Clemson Lofts ain't no good! They don't care about us students or our families during this coronavirus mess. All they care about is getting their money, and they don't care how they get it. They'll charge you three times the monthly rate if you're even one minute late with your payment. That's just plain greedy!
And don't even get me started on their customer service. It's terrible! They don't care about your problems or concerns. They just want to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. It's like they don't even want your business.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Clemson Lofts to anyone. They're just not worth the hassle. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to live.

Disappointing Experience at Clemson Lofts: Shady Owners, Thin Walls, Slow Maintenance, and Steep Rent
Yo, I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Clemson Lofts. I mean, sure, the place looks nice and all, but the owners seem shady as heck. I heard from some peeps that they make fake accounts just to boost their rating. Like, come on, that's not cool. But if you ignore all the fake reviews, you'll see that the real residents have some legit complaints. Like, the walls are super thin, so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. And the maintenance crew takes forever to fix anything. Plus, the rent is pretty steep for what you get. So yeah, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're desperate for a roof over your head.
