This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I have very bad experience related to after sale service of Club Mahindra. During the selling of Holiday to me, executive of Club Mahindra told me I can do upgradation of holiday anytime. But when now I want to do upgrade, they are saying its not possible. Also I did sent several follow up mails to their Feedback Id with several reminders but havn't got a single reply. I was asking for escalation email Id's but not received till date either from call centre or from Local Mumbai office.

Now I just want to cancel my membership and wont recommend anyone to buy Club Mahindra membership in future.

Regards
Nitin Khedkar

I fully agree with your views. Club Mahindra is a club of thugs who have opened offices for the same purposes. While your phone mobile numbers and addresses are working perfectly before the membership they suddenly seem to disappear as soon as you become member. I became the member in Oct'06 as White Studio member. I have yet to receive the membership card and kit though they claim to have send it, though several reminders and calls for the same have been made to them. Even the free gift was given after 3 months and for that also I had to get it personally collected from the courier office.
While there brouchere claims several resorts I have been unable to get the booking in the same both in white season or in some other season while the requests were given 3months in advance. The reasons given are :" We have leased property and have only limited rooms and are already booked", for red season "You can book only 15 days in advance".

This "DHUG MAHINDRA" has no person for customer resolution. They are only interested in timely payments and call you only when there payments are due.

Strict legal action need to be initiated against them for the same.

Seems we made a bad choice!
We had taken membership of a Red Studio in January 2008 and paid Rs. 41, 880 (Rupees forty-one thousand eight hundred and eighty only) towards the initial payment. Subsequently some of the terms of the special offers that were verbally conveyed to us at the time of registration were not honoured by MHRIL, namely the following:

The 2-weeks international holiday offer through RCI for travel at any time within 2 years, with a minimum of 3 days' stay at any one destination. It is now described to be "not valid for travel during peak school vacations and festival periods", with minimum 7 days’ stay at any destination.
Subsequently the offer was randomly downgraded to 2-weeks ClubMahindra domestic holidays instead of the international holidays offered earlier.
The special offer of 6 free Air Deccan tickets, on which we have been subsequently asked to pay all taxes and fees amounting to over Rs.2000 per ticket, while the understanding was that the tickets were completely free, as specified by MHRIL executives.
A prolonged exchange of emails ensued and MHRIL promised to meet us in person, which also was not done. A complete silence on emails or any other communication is being maintained by MHRIL since the Company’s last email dated 16th February, asking to meet us.
This had left us feeling cheated, with the belief that ClubMahindra does not honour the commitments made at the time of booking membership, and secures members under false pretences. We therefore requested MHRIL on March 1, 2008 to cancel our membership and give us a full refund immediately. The same was acknowledged by their call centre (cancellation reference no. 639488), and we were promised a full refund within 30 – 45 days.

No communication was received by us subsequently despite reminders, and 45 days are over. A complaint (complaint ID 138608) has now been registered against MHRIL with the National Consumer Helpline.

I received an email today where they have outright refused to refund any money at all.

post sale service and the attitude of sales persons towards cancellation of membership is really bad. I have lost 23000 in the whole episode and wud strongly advise others not to take it.

pls remember their fees is not a one time fees... u have to pay 7000 p.a. every year for 25 years.

halo frds
dont become member of club mahindra . it is very difficult to get booking on your dates & destination. they have only 20 resorts, top of that - few of them have only less than 10 rooms. & now they claiming that they have 100000 members . as you know most of people want holidays in vacation . how can a club accomodate 100000 member in just less than 1000 rooms in 60 days of vacations. I am member of club mahindra since a year &was tried booking 3 - 4 time in this year but as a common thing here i never get booking & my holidays was spoiled, even i find that most of resorts are not upto mark. ( u will feel regreted to make holidays there like binser) most of extra carricarricular activities (even game room) in resorts are on payment u will feel u r not a member of club but a feel like customer .they try to suck u .

CLUB MAHINDRA IS IN CHEATING BUSINESS?
Hello! I am from Mumbai. We, i.e. myself and my wife were "INVITED" to attend a 45 minute session at Club Mahindra, Raghuleela Mall, Kandivali. The Tele caller kept on calling my wife's Cell number repeatedly. The Caller had promised my wife 2nights/3days of Holidaying at Club Mahindra and some movie tickets for attending the session.
Now, we attended the session on 30.07.2014 and one Mr. Anand attended to us and he also confirmed the offer, irrespective of the fact whether we Buy your Holiday Offer OR Otherwise, at the very beginning of the session.
It is utterly disgusting to note that the behaviour of your staff was unbecoming of a Professional Club that you claim to be. The Attendant never told us (till we asked) what the Holidays will cost us. He simply kept on telling that we offer 5* facilities. Even the Desk Computer was not working and when we reminded him that you were to show some slides on the Computer he told my Desk Computer is not working and shifted us to some other table. This amply shows how CASUAL and WORTHLESS Staff are employed. After he completed his version, he called his Superior by name Vijay Soni, this man was utterly Rude and as if he was appointed to insult the Guests there. "YOU DECIDE HERE AND NOW. If you say no, I am not interested", was the tone and tenor of his behaviour.
And what happened to the Gift Vouchers Promised? (2 nights/3days and the Movie Tickets). We will send the same by mail, which never came. The entire episode stinks of CHEATING THE GULLIBLE "INVITEES". IS THAT YOUR BUSINESS? IF YOU CANNOT KEEP A SMALL PROMISE MADE TO YOUR PROSPECTIVE BUYERS, BEFORE BUYING, HOW ARE U GOING TO TREAT THEM ONCE THEY FALL FOR U? If U Treat "Invitees" like this, how are you going to keep up your reputation in the Hospitality Industry? I would just want to know whether the Employees are cheating not only the Invitees but also the Club by selling the Vouchers meant for Invitees to outsiders OR they were acting under Instructions from the management? The Credibility of your Club is at stake.
Please permit me to state here, though it is a Trivial matter, that Mr. Anand Offered us at the beginning of the session-"Would you like to have a cup of Tea OR Coffee?" The Offer never materialised in physical form, i.e. the Tea never came. Then, why do your people do these gimmicks? We never asked you to offer us a cup of Tea.
The above shows how general public is fooled in the name of Marketing and Propagating Business, which appears to be your REAL BUSINESS.
I request you to take some corrective action, and yes, I am not interested in your frivolous Offers any more.
