Collection Bureau of America I have been trying to get in contact with someone regarding my account for a long time

I have been trying to get in contact with someone regarding my account for a long time. I have absolutely no idea who the original creditor is. This account has been my credit for much longer than 7 years and I have no knowledge of this account and they wont remove it. Ive disputed this account for years with no resolution. I just want it off my credit.

The Section 807 of FDCPA (15 U.S. Code ***e) was violated by this creditor in the sense that they were using deceptive and misleading representations for collecting the debt. Thus, it is their obligation to delete the account due to this violation of the law as well as they need to stop furnishing inaccurate information to the credit reporting agencies.

The account was recently added to my credit report and in collections. I never receive any letters or notifications about this account. It was not until I received an alert from my credit monitoring service that an account was added to my report and in collections. It would have been great if I would have been noticed about this account before hitting collection so that I can research this company. I have no knowledge about this account.

I am a victim of identity theft. I am writing to request that you block the following fraudulent information from my credit report. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects.

Collection Bureau of America I reached out to CBA to settle an account that is on my account

I reached out to CBA to settle an account that is on my account. I emailed the company on 6/4 and received no response and emailed again 3 months later requesting proof that this account was mine. After a year of no response I hired a third party to dispute this account. The company refused to send any information to me after 1 year and 3 months. I paid this account to settle it off my account and it is still not processed as paid yet the amount is increasing on my account. I want this account removed from my credit immediately.

I am not liable for this debt with 05 DS SERVICES OF AMERICA acct 170504XX and I do not have a contract with Collection Bureau of America (CBA) plus they did not provide me with the original application as I asked. I live in NC the statute of limitations on the collection here is 3 yrs. I have sent multiple letters asking for the original contract, they never provided one as it does not exist. The original account was from 2015. They have re-aged the debt to 12/21 which is not legal. Please remove this from my credit accounts immediately.

I DO NOT owe *** water service anything because they failed to deliver water on time (4 weeks late) and so I called in Sparklett's myself, which they charged me for the remaining balance and deleted the previous balance. I have also emailed the *** water service do clarify the situation, which I never was responded to. So now I get this semi-scam looking letter to my parents who doesnt speak english well who almost paid for the duplicate charge. Unless you can prove that I did not pay for the service (which I never received), then delete this unreasonable charge or I will have to take legal actions to remove false charges.

This account hit my credit report on June . I called the number listed and they could not find my at all. They provided 2 home addresses that I have never resided in. They were unable to find me by name, phone number, email and social security. They were unable to find me in any way but still attempted to collect a debt payment. When I finally spoke with a manager they took my email address and explained that they would send me a billing explaination of the charges in which I also never received. If they are unable to locate me then how are they able to continue to hit my credit report and score. I would like for this charge to be removed from credit score

Collection Bureau of America Dispute of Incorrect Collection on Credit Report Dated 1/18 for $124

I am writing to dispute a collection item placed on my credit report on 1/18 for $124. The Collection Bureau of America placed the collection item. I used their services from July 22, to August 22, but was erroneously billed for an additional month (August 22, to September 22) for services not rendered. I contested this charge with both the service provider and my credit card company. The credit card company resolved the dispute, confirming no goods/services were received and issued a permanent credit. The credit bureau also resolved my dispute favorably.

Collection Bureau of America I started a water delivery service in 2016 or so

I started a water delivery service in 2016 or so. I canceled the account and a driver picked up our water dispenser, and water bottles. I never heard anything else from the company until this collection account showed up on all three of my credit files. I called both Sparkletts and the Collection Bureau of America. I explained this account should be at a $0 balance. They are still charging me for equipment and bottles a driver for the company picked up. I also tried settling the account three times once with the original company and twice with the collections company, so it would be taken care of even though I returned everything and paid it already. I even have three new accounts with the same water delivery company currently that are always paid on time too. Please reach out to resolve.

I am a victim of identity- theft. I am writing to request that you block all accounts disputed as fraudulent on my credit reports with Transunion, Equifax, and Experian. This information does not relate to any transactions I have made. I did not give anyone authorization or consent to use my personal information. I hereby exercise my legal rights enacted by Congress and The *** which explicitly states when a victim of identity-theft dispute a fraudulent account on his/her credit report it shall be honored by all credit bureaus and all fraudulent information should be blocked within 4 days and proper notification shall be given to all data furnishers pursuant to section 605b of The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.1. Collection Bureau of America This company is fraudulently reporting an account that does not belong to me to the credit bureaus

This company is fraudulently reporting an account that does not belong to me to the credit bureaus. I made contact with them July 9 once I noticed it on my credit report. They were requesting my social security number over the phone in order to give me any information about the account in collections and I refused. I did give them my name, address and phone number and none of which were associated with the account in question. The account in collections is coming from DS Services, which is a water delivery service in Atlanta, GA and I live in Niceville, FL and have for over 11 years and never made a purchase for water delivery. I contacted DS Services and verified they have no customer purchase with my name, number or address. The alleged purchase was made on December 20 and there were no payments made and so it was turned over to collections with Collection Bureau of America and I believe someone at Collection Bureau of America tied this account to my social security number in some way by accident and it needs to be investigated as fraud.

Collection Bureau of America On 3/22/22 I was contacted by an individual from this agency who yelled when I asked for documentation.

On 3/22/22, an individual from the agency reached out to me. Upon requesting documentation, she began yelling and acting obnoxiously because I mentioned I would consult the company for the information she couldn't provide. After explaining the situation to the company, she sought help from her colleague. Her colleague, equally upset, insisted they were not obligated to provide the information immediately as they were a collections agency, not a water company. I asked for a supervisor due to her unprofessionalism, but the supervisor's conduct was no better. As a collections agency, they should adhere to regulations that forbid intimidation and abuse. Yet, every representative I've spoken to has yelled at me, hung up, and ignored my account concerns. Despite numerous calls for assistance, no one was helpful, especially after I informed them the debt was invalid. I've been in touch with DS Services to correct errors and a ticket was opened regarding my account access issue, which remains unresolved. I've communicated with multiple staff members and have documentation. I owe nothing to Collections Bureau of America as I have no contract with them.

This is in regards to account #***XXX. CBA, this unknown to me company claims I allegedly owe them money. I have been monitoring my consumer reports and gathering evidence that they have been in violation of the *** Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. CBA has been furnishing an unverified account and inaccurate balance information and illegally charging me $1.00 to $3.00 every month for the past 22 months and re-aging this account on my consumer reports. What are they continuously charging me for? Currently, as of consumer report generated on 16 February 2022 They are reporting on my TransUnion report a balance of $404.00 and on my Experian and Equifax a balance of $405.00 which obviously is inaccurate information. So, which one is it? My consumer reports also state that the original balance is $374.00. What is this charge for? If this is accurate, then how is my original balance lower than my current balance? I am requesting that they permanently delete furnishing of this alleged, inaccurate and unverifiable account to all consumer reporting agencies immediately. Here is just one of the laws they have broken:FDCPA section 808 [15 USC ***f] Unfair practices A debt collector may not use unfair or unconscionable means to collect or attempt to collect a debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section: (1) The collection of any amount (including any interest, fee, charge, or expense incidental to the principal obligation) unless such amount is expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or permitted by law. So, please have them forward me the wet ink signature contract/agreement that I have with this company authorizing that I have agreed to any of these fraudulent charges. Again, Collection Bureau of America needs to get this account off of my consumer reports as soon as possible.

I checked my credit report and noticed I had a collection from (Collection Bureau of America).) that was opened in (February 01) balance is ($217.00) with account number starting in (***) I do not recall and am not liable for. This alleged debt is not mine I never entered into a signed agreement or completed an original contract with (Collection Bureau of America). This inaccurate collection is not mine. I never provided any written consent or permissible purpose for this allege creditor to report on my consumer report. I AM THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR and THE ONLY ONE who can extend credit or permission to report to my consumer report. This is a violation of 15 U.S. Code ***b permissible purposes of consumer reports.According to 15 U.S. CODE ***b(a)(2)- Permissible purpose, of consumer reports. (A) in general Subject to subsection (c) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other (2) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. I NEVER PROVIDED WRITTEN PERMISSION OR ANY CONENT to pull my consumer report. This is a violation and also aggravated identity theft! 15 U.S. Code ***n- a In general Any person who willfully fails to comply with any requirement imposed under this subchapter with respect to any consumer is liable to that consumer in an amount equal to the sum of (1)(A) any actual damages sustained by the consumer as result of the failure or damages of not less than $100 and not more than $1,000 or (3) in the case of any successful action to enforce any liability under this section the costs of the action together with reasonable attorneys fees as determined by the court.I demand all collection activity to cease immediately and for this inaccurate collection to be removed and deleted from my credit report immediately I am more than willingly to file for litigation and will report you to the *** and FTC.
