I received a liheap payment of $225 in January 2024 in which it was sent to comed on Feb 8th. During that week comed was changing account numbers & somehow it got lost in the cracks! I've been verbally harrased as I called in looking for it to be applied as I talked to(as I written down) 31 reps/9 supervisors) as Some see it being sent & some dont,You didn't apply, etc of all excuses! I called to see if it was sent back & I was told no that it wasn't that it shows that comed received that payment on February 8th! Now one supervisor at comed says he sees the payment & sent email over to accounts receivable ( over 5xs along with a random deposit I was being charged of $115 for a new account but I'm a current customer since 2019) And they have yet to respond! I've been calling in since last wk of Feb & has been getting a run around of excuses & since my bill has been rising because I ended up with 4 diff account numbers due to a 3wk temp move to an apt across my parking lot(apt renovation) & the bills got lost in cracks as well until one day they all came at once along with a deposit letter! When I 1st relocated on Feb 14th, I only had a bill for $223 in which the liheap covered that but still hadn't been applied. Normally it takes 30 days, then I was told 90days, then 90 business days, then didn't apply, I see it, there's no liheap payment, the to someone will call you! Yet 4months & no callback! I constantly call & supervisors are really disrespectful, then just put you back on hrs hold & hang up! I'm disabled/special needs and it's hard for me to keep explaining over & over the situation when it's being noted in system by workers everytime I call but they refuse to read it. I didn't know what to pay far a bill because they came at once with different accounts, from my old bill being $223 minus liheap(not applied) to a bill now of $418 with deposit portions added! Can someone please help cause this is insane! Numerous claims made over 10(as supervisors says)& nothing is being done & I don't want to be disconnected...
