I am trying to switch from Community phone to Sparklight phone and Community phone is intentionally giving me a wrong port out pin and l cannot switch. Sparklight has been to my house twice now, working on a third visit; each time, the Sparklight installer comes to port the phone number, they are getting a wrong port pin number. Each time, I have to call Community phone to get a new port pin and each time it is wrong. The visit from the Sparklight installer is moot without a correct port pin.
Desired outcome: Would like to get a correct port pin from Community phone so Sparklight can install service at my house; seems they are intentionally stalling my quit.

Since the beginning of service, have had to get a new SIM because the calls were not getting received and calls that did come in were for someone else's number; in the middle of a conversation would get disconnected for no reason; now that I am try to switch to another company, community phone company is making it difficult to change; giving me wrong port out pins and slowing down the permissions to switch to someone else.
It seems that Community Phone's unwillingness to give the correct port-out PIN is both interference as well as likely contravening the number portability regulations. Reaching out to their customer service, try and obtain the PIN so that you can make your intention clear that if they do not hope comply you will take matters to the higher authorities/contracts of the network.
If they persist in blocking the transfer, submit a complaint to the **FCC** or whatever the telecommunications regulator is in your home country. Passport to numbers should be granted by the providers, and this kind of attitude is not acceptable. Don’t let them lock you down—strive to be granted the enforcement of your liberties.
