Great! Someone checked the electrical panel and explained the task needed to bring it up to code. Overall, I found them to be very professional, they answered all of my questions and even put disposable shoe covers on my light brown wood floor, which I so much appreciated. The tech was on time when I was told he would be there, answered all my questions, didnt push any sales on me, did leave a brochure for future reading, was very thorough checking all the components, adjusted a few things and the system did work much better after he left. Tech kept me informed the whole time of what he was doing.

Rob and his partner arrived on time and were very professional in greeting me, introducing themselves; they explained their purpose upon inquiry, proceeded to the basement for inspection, and then returned to discuss the wrap up in my kitchen. They had me sign the necessary documents and answered my questions. It was a pleasure to do business with such courteous young men. Thank you.

We love Cranney Services. Fast response time, thorough explanations, great customer service. ***, our technician for my backed-up kitchen sink, even stayed past end of shift to ensure I would have full use for the weekend and beyond. We had ***, (working with *** Cranney), for our sewer line problem earlier this year. He was just as professional and personable as then. So glad we found Cranney!

We recently had a professional company install central air conditioning in our home. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend them. From the initial meeting to the final day, the company was excellent to have in our home. We are so pleased with the final product. Of the estimates we had, this company came in the lowest, which was a wonderful surprise since I had the best feeling about them.

It took a long time to get the right person in the door, but once *** showed up, the problem with my new boiler was fixed immediately. *** also shared some important information that had been left out/ignored by previous techs. Im grateful for him and glad I kept calling until the right person came to help. Even though the scheduling staff and dispatchers were cranky about it - was worth the annoyance to finally be warm.

I use Cranney Home Services for all my hvac needs. Recently their plumbers resolved a long-standing water stain from an oversized sewer pipe. Today they made an emergency visit as a/c not working properly. This is the second mouse that got fried which required a new capacitor & wiring. The work was done quickly including disposal of a messy dead mouse. I cannot recommend Cranney highly enough. You get what you pay for with professional pleasant & knowledgeable technicians.

Everyone at Cranney was polite and helpful, from the office coordinators in rescheduling the appointments to the expert plumber examining the running toilet. The plumber communicated well; he called me after examining the toilet at my rental and explained what needed to be done. He also called back when the job was done and explained their membership plan without pushing the offer. I would definitely call Cranney for any additional needs and recommend them to my friends and family.

S installed a new water heater for us and was very professional, informative, attentive, and prompt in his responses to any questions because we had never had that done before and we did not know anything about it. It was such a pleasure working with S. His professionalism, knowledge, expertise, and understanding of plumbing and the overall industry were really impeccable and I was extremely fortunate to have him as the installer. We could not be happier with his work.

The electrician and Cranney excelled after another company failed to deliver promised restoration services due to increased busyness. Acting as my own general contractor, I relied on Cranney for plumbing and electrical support, which they provided willingly and with schedule flexibility. Their staff were courteous, tidy, and knowledgeable. Immense thanks to Cranney and the initial technician who handled the rough-in but was on vacation when the power was finally restored.

NO STARS for this company! Phoned them with an electrical problem that was seriously impacting the running of my home. *** with customer service and specifically inquired as to whether or not this could be addressed today. She assured me, not once but twice, that the technician would phone me as soon as he was done with his present job and respond shortly thereafter. I agreed to their $49.95 up front service fee and began the wait. Later in the afternoon, I received a call from *** at ***. She was calling to inform me that no one would be coming today! Wanted to know when a good time for me was to re-schedule! *** HAPPENING! VERY ***!*** One star checked as it is required to submit review.

I had them add a one way check valve between my boiler feed water and boiler water.My boiler water had glycol anti freeze and the Cranney employee knew it.The Cranney employee dumped the glycol contaminated water on my driveway killing my grass, then when he discovered his bucket had a hole in it after tracking glycol all over a rug he then decided to get rid of the contaminated water into my septic tank.When I confronted the employee he assured me the water was clean..a lie I called the office to complain I was told the manager would get my message...I have yet to hear from them.I have had to have my septic tank pumped in the hopes to get the glycol out of my system.If your thinking of employing this company you should really consider your options.

You couldn't pay me to recommend Cranney Home Services. They installed a new gas heating system in my house in 2012 for $17K and it was nothing but problems. We reported 2 to 3 second banging in the system when it would turn on; starting just 2 years after installation. And just 2 weeks ago Cranney charged us $800 for a cleaning and new igniter that actually turned the 3 second roar into 15 seconds or longer fog horn sounds! So we called another local plumber, *** (here in ***, ) who fixed the problem with a proper tuning of the system in about 3 hours. So after this fix and previously spending $1000's with Cranney to NOT fix the problem we have replaced the Cranney sticker on the boiler with a *** sticker.

We met a wonderful gentleman from Cranney named "***." He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We had a small fire on the back of our house due to a compromised wire hiding under our siding. He assessed the damage, checked our electric box as well as the remaining outdoor outlets. He replaced the damaged wire and installed our new outlet box the same day! He also replaced a couple of our outlets near our two bathroom sinks that required GFCI updates. He did a great job, was super helpful and answered all our questions. We signed up to be Cranney members to take advantage of all their great benefits/services and we look forward to working with *** and the Cranney staff in the future! I also spoke to *** in *** the day before and I was impressed with how quickly my call was answered; her professionalism and how personable she was, and also how quickly she was able to get someone out and resolve our issue. I give an A Plus for great customer service, too! Very happy with this whole experience. :)

I became a contract member because they gave me great service when I had a problem with my furnace. After that is was all down hill. I scheduled my yearly service appointment. And specifically asked for the earliest appointment in the day. That was between 8 to 9 AM and they would call 30 mins before arrival. I waited until 8:45 called dispatch, questioning why I had not received a phone call. The woman said they just left Danvers and are on the way. That time of day they wouldn't get to my house until after 9 AM. I explained that I need an appointment closer to 8 AM, because I work. The dispatcher, searched the schedule and said they could do that the following week. I said great and when they call if I know I am going to be late for work I will call my office. Well...I left for work at 8:50 AM and did not hear a word from anyone. When I called the office they told me the tech got there at 9:30 AM and didn't call me first! I cancelled my service contract. I was paying for a service, didn't get service, and was expected to rearrange my schedule for them. What part of service do they not understand! HUH?

I do not recommend ever working with Cranney. We called Cranney to fix our washing machine pump and replace our toilet on a Monday. They said they would come on Tuesday, but did not give a window of service so we had to stay at home all day in case they came. They called us at 4pm saying they were at our house, but then it was determined that they were not only not at our house, but not in our town and 30 minutes away. They did not actually arrive until 6pm. Two plumbers came. The plumber fixing the toilet did fine. The plumber who was supposed to fix the pump did not. We asked for any details as far as when he thinks it could be fixed, how long it takes, or how much any washing machine pumps were, and he gave us zero information. You would think a plumber would have a general idea on how much a part could be. He know more about the Cranney members sales pitch than the actual product he is supposed to be using and repairing. We waited a day for someone to call us, but no one did, so we called the main office. They said someone would be at the house on Friday and that the whole job would cost over $1000, but could not give us an itemized breakdown of how much the pump cost or labor and said that those types of documents are impossible to produce. Friday came and they then said they couldn't come out, and when we pushed back on $1000 to fix a pump that we found on the internet as not costing more than $500 they gave us the sales pitch of how amazing Cranney apparently was. We asked to speak with a manager and they tried to blame all of this on the first customer service representative, still could not fathom giving us an itemized receipt of what we were actually paying for, and said they might be able to come Monday. They finally came on Monday, spent 3 hours here, and did not provide any itemized invoice. Any other service we have used have given us an itemized receipt of the price of the part, and the hourly rate for labor. But this level of accountability does not exist if you use Cranney. I do not recommend this company at all. Horrible customer service, no window of when you can expect them at your house so you are held hostage by them all day, and I still have absolutely no clue what we just paid for. "
