I want this card canceled and the charges dismissed.
I received an invitation for a credit card in the mail. The name is misleading, it looks like Capital One Visa, but I received a Credit One Amex. I NEVER used the card, or activated. They sent me a bill three weeks later with: New Balance $68.85; Past Due Amount $30.00; Amount Due this period: $59.00; Minimum payment due:$68.85; Payment due date: 9/28/22; I received the statement on September 12, 2022, and the statement is dated 8/4/2022 to 9/3/22 and they will not confirm what the charges are, what state they were made in, or let me cancel the card. I think that the charges are bogus, and the invitation NEVER said anything about a fee that is really high. I am on the phone with them right now to cancel the card and they left me on hold.
Desired outcome: I do not want this affecting my credit. This card is a scam.
Bank app
For months when I tried to log into the mobile app it has told me it is "under maintaince"! Luckly I have a laptop and was able to log in online! Last night I the moble app seemed to be working so I tryed to log in, but it wouldnt take my password! It accepted my password change and sent me a verification code. when I entered that code, it said it was wrong. I repeated that proocess several time, now it says to contact custumer service. When you call customer service all you get is an automated line, no way to talk to a real person. Now here I am, unable to contact them by phone or internet. Please help me with my problem.
credit card account
On August 6th I received an email from Credit One Bank informing me that my bill was ready to view and that I could make a payment. I clicked on the email, and I was taken to their site. I saw that the payment of $63.00 was due by September 2nd. After making my payment it was a few days later I went to their website, and I saw that another $60.00 was added to my account and that to was due by September 2nd. At first, I thought it was a mistake and wrote them a letter concerning the mistake, but I then saw that they added a late fee to my account. After that I decided to call. I was put on the line with a person that didn't speak English very well and couldn't understand her very well but after what I explained about the mistake her English became better. And the way she stated it to me was that the 6th of the month is their end time and that the payment goes somewhere else. What that means I don't know. I have to admit that all the time I have been a cardholder they never sent me an email about paying my bill. This is the first time they did this and gave no explanation to why they added another payment to my account not even what this end time is. I've never heard of such a thing in my life and after paying $63.00, $60.00 they are going to charge me another $63.00 in a few days. I just want them to refund my money with the late fee.
credit card
I opened my new cc in july with a $300 balance. I used it for a purchase of $285 and paid it off in full before the due date of 8/8, including the $75 annual fee that was placed on my bill. I just spent over an hour on the phone with 3 customer service reps as I come to realize my account has a block on it. They all told me the same thing, that because I paid my bill in full, it created an "unusual payment pattern" and that I needed to supply my bank information to prove I paid it. I am going crazy and furious with this ridiculous practice of this company! I am unable to do anything on their website and tried to email the address I was given and it comes back to me undeliverable. How can one be punished for paying their bill in full? And it's none of their business to see my bank account details, especially when they have processed the payment and gave a confirmation number and its processed through my bank. I am needing to use this for a small purchase on 9/8 and got nowhere with their customer servce. Someone please help! Thanks!
Desired outcome: I would prefer to have my card unblocked to be usable for 9/8 but if that's not possible I want the account closed and I'll take my business elsewhere. It currently has a zero balance.
credit card
I applied for a credit card off of Credit Karma from Credit One bank to help build my credit. I received the credit card, made a purchase on said credit card and paid off the balance prior to the due date. I went to use the card again and was declined, which was embarrassing. I called customer service to find out why I was declined and was told by the representative that my account was placed on hold and that they sent me a letter requesting verification that the account I made a payment from was in fact mine. I did not receive such letter. I advised her that I did not receive such letter and asked what information they needed to remove the hold. The representative said they need a copy of my bank statement or a letter from my bank verifying the account I made the payment from is mine. I questioned why they need such information as it should not matter where I made the payment from as long as they got paid. The representative said they have experienced alot of fraudulent payments and this was a measure to protect the credit card company. OK, I can understand this so the representative said I could email the company with a copy of my bank statement to prove the payment was from the account I made the payment from. I advised the representative that I do online banking and do not receive paper statements. The representative said I could take a picture of my most recent bank statement from my online banking and provided me an email address to submit to. I took a screen shot of my statement from my bank provider which clearly shows my name, address and my account number and submitted it to the email address she provided me. I received a response indicating they received. Today, I went to use my card to make a purchase and was declined. I called customer service to inquire as to why I was declined as I have a zero balance and that I provided the documentation they requested. I am now being told that they need a letter from my bank verifying I am the account holder. WHY! This is completely unacceptable. I was passed on to several "Managers" who were not helpful and could not explain why they could not remove the hold...especially after they received my payment and the verification that the payment I made was from my account. I requested that they send me their policy via email that states that this is a requirement, however I have yet to receive such information. This credit card company is a joke and I believe is a scam. I now have to close my bank account and open a new one because I am scared that this company is not legit. I WOULD NOT RECOMMENTD anyone to apply for a credit card from them. I AM FRUSTRATED AND FURIOUS!
Desired outcome: Prove to me this is a legit credit card company AND make this right. I want the policy that proves what they are asking for is a requirement and I want an apology for the aggravation and embarrassment they have caused me.
Credit One Bank Secured Visa card
When I got approved they snatched the $250 deposit for the secured VISA card before I even had the visa card number which was the first RED FLAG. Where did my $250 go? Then I got the card many days later and could not even make my outside of this bank payment with it. They did not give me the routing number and account number to give my creditor to get the payment so I tried to make my payment to the creditor another way by a debit card payment service and got declined. I tried with a live agent to charge this card and was declined again. Now I am waiting on the phone to find out what the agent finds out to tell me where is my money? I shows on the online account for Credit One that I have a $250 credit line and deposit so why can't I use my money I let them capture from another bank account?
Desired outcome: I need to use my funds or they need to give me my money back and cancel this stupid card.
Possible Scammed
On or about 10 Aug 22 at approx. 1227hr cst I, Michael H. Frazier, Sr. tried logging into the Credit one Bank site. An error appeared stating "Your username/password are case sensitive". Several more attempts were made. Same reply. Approx. 1229 hr I called Customer Svc where a supposedly Svc Cust. Rep., with an Indian accent ask for the following, Name, Last four of card #, Last for SSN# and proceeded to hang up. I called back and spoke to a different Svc Rep., also an Indian accent. I explained the situation. He asked for the same information. I asked if there was information of a previous conversation minutes ago of speaking with a customer service rep?. He stated "no".
Desired outcome: As of 10 Aug 22 the balance owed was $158.00. I'm requesting my card ending in 6138 be closed and request a new one as soon as possible.

Got a new card in the mail today, called the number on the card to activate and nothing but busy signal. Tried other numbers ring busy. How do I use this if the phone lines are busy? [protected] busy can not get through need to be able to use my card. This is the only way when you get a card from credit one to be able to use it customer service number rings busy when I call. My goal is to activate my card.
Desired outcome: Want to activate my card before 14 days are up
Same thing happening to my husband.

Online Payments
April-June 2022
Have not been able to pay online for the last three months, which makes me have to call them to make the payment over the phone. When paying over the phone, they want you to pay a processing fee for an express payment. This fee should not be charged since they will not fix the problem with online payments, and it is their fault.
I would not recommend this bank, the customer service is terrible and I feel like I'm being taking advantage of. Seems like a scam and like they intentionally won't let you pay online, just to make more money by having to pay a processing fee when making a payment over the phone.
Desired outcome: They need to fix the online payment issue.
Express pay on credit card
I paid my credit card off and they flagged it for a suspicious because I paid it off. They charged me for an express payment of almost 5.00 and the payment was to be posted immediately. They did not do so. They flagged it and are now telling me that I have to prove it is me making the payment by giving them my bank statement. The website for them is not working properly and won't allow me to give them the information I shouldn't have to give them to begin with. I can understand if it was a transaction, but to pay my credit card off, I think this is a bit much. They are also trying to make it to where my payment is late and I get more charges and fees. I need this taken care of. I call and they just keep putting me on hold, passing me from person to person and not resolving the issue with the website or with my payment getting posted to my account so that no charges or late fees accrue. That is the whole reason I paid almost 5.00 for an express payment. They are very unprofessional. They pass you from person to person and leave you on hold. I was placed on hold about ten times for long periods of time. Then transferred and spoke with 8 different people. The issue is still not resolved and I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Do not use this company
Desired outcome: card unblock and fee for the exspress payment sent back to me.
THis has not been resolved so I dont understand why you say it is!
Credit one bank, check #[protected] bounced.
Credit one bank sent a check to me for $200.00, and it bounced! I cannot get in touch with them; they only have an automated service. I've tried to talk to someone about this but cannot contact anyone. I tried to chat and email them, but the prompt says, they don't have that service. I do have their credit card.
Desired outcome: Pay my bank fees for a bounced check and cancel my account.
Here is the number for credit one [protected]. They charged me an annual fee before I even received the card and then the representative told me I had to wait until I received the card to close the account. I requested to speak with supervisor who closed the account I’m just waiting for the update on my profile. I hope this help
Fees / Charges
My limit is $300. I spoke with an agent and asked for help due to financial hardship. They wouldn't remove even one late fee. My account is now more than $600, with half of this being in late fees. I can't find any other contact information, but finally got a call from them. I told them to close this account and to take my number their list because they call to many times, per day to count. This is entrapment to say the least!
Desired outcome: $300 of late fees removed
Disputed charges on my account.
I have two charges on my bank statement that I am disputing. The transaction date was 1/16/2022 on both.
I contacted the company and told them I want to return product, was not satisfied with it and received an RMA # [protected] on 1/31/2022, Reference
# 1847637.
Items returned 2/1/2022, Tracking # 9405511899561769584916 sent from the UPS Store, which I paid $28.35 to return them.
I called them on 6/6/2022 to ask about my credit and was told they are only
going to credit me $189.87, the total charge was $199.88 and $59.99 which totals a credit due in the amount of $258.87.
They say they are 100% committed to your product satisfaction!
Desired outcome: Please credit these charges I am disputing and advise when this is done.
Bogus charge and busy signal for all phone numbers
I just got an email saying I owe $30, but that's baloney because I haven't even used the card. Tried to get on my account online, but it says "problem processing your request." Clicked on forgot user name/password links and same message. Tried calling two different customer service numbers, the one in the email and the one on the website, and both have busy signals. What is going on here? I want to close this account. This is a scam.
Desired outcome: Take off the fake charge and close my account.
Need customer service help regarding late fees
6-8-22 JOE SANNER; [protected]@gmail.com
I do not want to list my card number here due to safety but I need a customer service rep to take pity on me. The last 4 digits of my card number are 3341.
When I first obtained this card, I loved this company. Then I realized that you have charged me 2 or 3 $30 LATE FEES.
I make my payment immediately upon getting paid. I take great pride in NEVER HAVING A LATE FEES on my credit history UNTIL NOW.
My due date is the 27th each month. I pay by the 2nd or 3rd each month! I just found out that they have pegged me with two LATE MARKS & $30 fees each month. I am devastated. I have been rebuilding my credit with such success.
I finally noticed it today and contacted customer service having the due date changed. NOW if I can just get those LATE FEES REMOVED from my CREDIT REPORT. : (Kindest Regards for your help
Joe Sanner
Dover, OH 44622
Desired outcome: Refund for the late payments and the late payment status removed from my record so as not to show up on my credit report.
Wanted to pay but they refused my payment offer
I got behind on my bills because of layoffs and hours getting cut back, then covid hit and things got worse. I tried to explain to them but they didn't care. They would call 10 to 15 times a day, one call right after another. I tried to offer them $50.00 a week which is all I can afford, and that's pushing it, but they refused, they said it had to be in payments of $500.00 or all of it at once. I can't afford to do that, and now they have turned it over to an attorney and threatening to take me to court. Also I was completely locked out of my account so I can't even get back into it to try to make payments. If they really want their money they need to accept my offer of what I can afford
Desired outcome: I would just like for them to accept the offer of $50.00 a week, I can set it up to come out of my account weekly, and recend the court order
Billing
I destroyed my card and obviously have not used it, and you are sending me bills that I owe you money. CANCEL MY ACCOUNT [protected].
I WILL NOT BE PAYING YOU A NOTHER DIME.I CANNOT GET A PERSON ON THE PHONE...5-28-22
Sincerely,
Alfred Meinke
Desired outcome: CANCEL MY ACCOUNT
