Minnesota mask mandate
While visiting my locate Cub Foods, I noticed 2 women shopping without wearing masks. I asked 2 employees why this was being allowed and was told that the corporate policy of Cub Foods was to not enforce the mandate. I don't think there was a medical reason pertaining to the 2 customers as they both looked young and rather health and were buzzing around the store with ease. This really irritates me. If the mandate is not enforced within reason, it all falls apart.
Failure to adhere to social distancing at check-out registers
For the past month at CUB Foods on Lexington Avenue in Shoreview, MN, I've observed that later in the evening when only two checkout lanes are staffed, the open lanes are right next to one another. This forces the customer in one lane to stand about 6 inches behind the checkout clerk working the adjacent lane. Additionally, when customers are in both lanes at the same time and are bagging their groceries, they are forced to stand next to each other while bagging. (The inside lane of one aisle shares the same space as the outside aisle of the other lane). In these situations, both the checkout clerk and the customers are forced into close proximity to one another. This could be resolved so easily by simply separating manned checkout aisles by at least one checkout lane. This may be more difficult when the store is busy but during slow times, there is no reason to have two checkout lanes open next to one another (unless it is the checkout clerks who want to be close so they can B.S. when there are no customers checking out). Separating the checkout lanes would also serve to separate customers as they leave the store since people often exit by the closest door.
I've observed this same scenario at other CUB stores and as someone who spent 35 years in the medical field, it both angers and frustrates me that social distancing during this COVID pandemic is taken so lightly.
Same thing is happening at the France ave store in Bloomington. Makes no sense at all, putting customers and employees at higher risk.
Cashier (Ann H)
I went into the store today when I had went up to the cashier and put my things down she yelled at me and told me I couldn't put my things down. So I picked up my stuff and asked her where does it say that at . She pointed and told me there should be a paper down there saying so. So when I looked it had said we can put are things down but had to stand back. So she started to talk about me to the customer in front of me and even the lady in front of me said she can put her things down. And when it was my turn didn't ask me if I found everything okay nothing . So I lifted there pretty upset. Now I work at a market myself and I told her I work for a market and I know what it is and all she did was ignore me. Now is this the way your company trains people because I shop at this location all the time and never had anything happen like this. And the sad part she couldn't even apologize for her mistake.
Service
Had an issue with one of the self check out machine and asked for a help. A staff named Katie was very rude and unhelpful, instead of helping us with it, she made me stand there for 10 minutes and she started arguing with us. She should not be facing even a customer, never have I ever experienced something like this before with cub food. Please make sure...

The Manager s are rude and lazy and cashier is horrible. They lie to say we don't have low fat yogurt and i run back there was a lot. The Asia manager refuse to run back and exchange the yogurt because it was wic and said we don't have low fat yogurt. the worst part was she said front of me she is not going back there to look for yogurt. I had hard time understanding if this was business or their home?

I went to load my netspend card and I experienced some very bad customer service. A lady by the name of Tilly waited on me, she seemed to have a nasty attitude from the beginning, but I proceeded with my load of my card, she asked for my identification and I stated that that wasn't something I was usually asked to do, normally the many, many times I had...

I have bought (or tried to buy) produce at this Cub food and either it is poor quality or spoils within a bay of buying. It has not been a every once in awhile thing. I have repeatedly tried to give them a chance. Wear nose plugs when you go into the meat department. I have been into other stores with open fish displays and not needed nose plugs. I avoid the meat department entirely. I now buy my produce and meat elsewhere.

I purchased NY strip steaks on sale and when I got home, opened it, it smelled rancid! Then I found out friends of mine had the exact problem and Cub Foods Corporate headquarters here in Stillwater, MN denied it being their fault. We have now started a boycott on ALL "Cub Food Stores". No wonder they sell so-called food at low prices. Want to get sick? purchase food from Cub Foods.
I purchased one chocolate from Cub Foods on 23 rd dec, 2010...but after coming to home.i ate the chocolate and realised the change in taste then ..i saw the expiry date...it is 04 Aug, 2010...Where i can file complaint about Cub Food?
Store director - dana anderson
Dana Anderson is the worst excuse for a store manager that I ever seen. He's a very shrude person. a) excessively cuts part time employee's hours, yet libereally gives away free products to the customers. For example, the a customer ordered 100 pc chicken wings from the deli. The deli employee stated 15-20 minutes waiting time. The customer eventually got...
