Today 02/19/2021 I took my elderly client to CVS at 103 W Edinburg Ave Elsa, TX 78543 around noon. There was a line formed at the register and no cashier to be found. So my client proceeded to the self check out. No notes on the register saying out of order, ect. When we finished we clicked for “cash back” $40. The machine then beeps saying to wait for...

CVS Major purchase

CVS on Boston Street, Lynn, Mass. We tried to purchase $248+ of merchandises and a Visa card. The very nice cashier (only one there, long line) was untrained. It took us about 20 minutes to cash out, but she didn't do the Visa card right even though I offered to pay cash for it. After ringing up all our purchases, she had to call the store manager Rody Manager. We had to start all over again. He made the nice clerk cry and made little or NO attempt to comfort her. After he ring up all our purchases AGAIN, he said have a nice day. I suggested to him that for the size of our purchases, he could say thanks. I had to ask him to do this three times before he did it. This whole mess up is one of the reasons CVS is going out of business. I have had similar problems trying to get an answer from clerks in the pharmacy. I will NEVER spend a penny more at CVS. Rody shouldn't be a store manager and you need to give ALL your staff lessons in customer service and you should train your staff BEFORE you place them as cashiers.

CVS Pharmacy - Gun Barrel City, Texas

Very poor customer service. Hang up on you when you call after taking forever to get them on the phone. Been having problem with the right amount of pills. I have been short a lot of times. And one of the biggest problem is that they don’t have medicine in stock. I get this medicine every month for years. They had the prescription for 5 days before (doctor called it) before I went up there to pick it up because they are very slow at filling your prescription and they told me they don’t have any in stock they have to order it. Really you had the prescription for 5 days. That is just someone not doing there job.

Desired outcome: Something needs to be done about that store. I would like to hear something has been done.

CVS Store Hours

CVS - 4610 Center Ave., Pgh, PA

This store is suppose to be open 24hrs. The clerk said the store was closed for 2hrs to take a break. You advertise open 24hrs not 22 hrs. I drove from Swissvale, thinking this CVS was open for 24hrs..

This took place 2/13/22, 2:30 am.

Desired outcome: Stay true to what you advertise. 24hrs.

CVS Sexism on vaccines and prescriptions

I found out that a woman has to show at least FIVE forms of ID including recent bill statements to get a Covid shot/booster. A man only needs to ask to get it same day. Women must have an appointment and wait WEEKS if the appointment for a Covid shot/booster isn't canceled on her. I was denied a prescription because I was a day too early. I waited the prescribed 31-32 days! Men can get their prescriptions in 28-30 days! A disabled man told the "pharmacist" that it was over a MONTH before he could get his. The manager is very sexist as well. That's who CVS makes sure to hire!

Desired outcome: Equality for women and disabled.

CVS cvs minute clinic

On 10/01.2021 I responded to a CVS Minute clinic in Arlington Virginia

I was examined by a NP Barbara Szita for a CDL Exam and Medical Certificate, as a Renewal to a current exam due to expire in a few months. All areas of the exam were covered and passed. This CVS has apparently a motivation to address, identify and PROMOTE CPAP Sleep Apnea intervention and treatment, with the sale of equipment for the malady.

At the end of the Exam, the Nurse stated I was Over weight(although I have had the same weight for several years) and My "Neck was too big". I did not understand what she was Promoting, suggesting or Implying, but she insisted

that I would only receive a 3 month permit and that I "had to enter into a Sleep study" I have consulted with an ACTUAL Family Doctor (MINE) and his records show no existence of any anomaly for this malady (Sleep Apnea) I was given no Option and was forced into a bogus study which has caused me to Lose my job. This Situation and process is highly suspect and the next 2 visits with alternate CDL nurses revealed the Opposite results.

Desired outcome: Examination of Nurse Barbara Szita's over zealous and improperly applied procedures, do in fact go beyond Common Sense and do not use any Consultation before issuing a Negative finding, based on absolutely no FACT.

Well this Complaint Bureau seems to be a dead end Agency- I was under the Impression CVS would Investigate and return a statement of progress and Activity on this Complaint.

It has been a month Now with No messages from either the Complaint Bureau or CVS.

Anyone care to Explain this ?

I still need an Avenue of Contact with the CVS DOT/CDL Minute Clinic Nurse Zita or her Immediate Supervisor at CVS.

CVS doesn't do anything. There's at least 10 major lawsuits by drug companies, insurance companies and the federal government that has happened.

CVS Refuse to communicate with me: CVS Bridgewater NJ

I'm deaf/hard of hearing. I went to the drop off line with my RX paper and a note from me requesting assistance when my name gets called. The cashier just stared at me for quite some time. NO words came out of her mouth at all. I was shocked with how she treated me right there in front of the staff. She decided to include them. I have asked repeatedly for her to either write it down or STEP back with the plexi glass between us, pull down the mask and I'll read her lips.. I just went ahead and sat down to wait. I waited more than 20 minutes. All I saw was them pointing at me, laughing and mocking me. I walked out after getting my 1st order. I had two. I did not want to put up with their childish behavior any longer.

I would never step a foot in that place ever again.

Desired outcome: Educate and TRAIN them about HOW to approach deaf individuals. With the mask mandate, it's 100x harder on us. If I was the manager, I would have fired every one of them.

CVS Medicare Advantage OTC mail orders

For the 3rd time in 14 months, items have been missing from my OTC order filled by CVS. This month, 4 of 6 items were missing from the sealed box ! There is a number to call and they submit a claim to replace the missing items but it can take a month to get the replacement ! I asked for a phone # or email to file a complaint about the sloppy packing at the warehouse in Orlando but got nowhere. I was actually told to complain to my HMO ! This is ridiculous - what can they do? The agent also said that she has had many many similar calls about missing items in the OTC orders and has asked her supervisor what can be done and also gets nowhere.

Desired outcome: A number to call or an email to the warehouse supervisor in charge of the shipments going out of Orlando (Chancellor Dr).

CVS Poor Customer Service at Store #2159, 2320-26 Fairmount Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130

Complaint: Associate (Assoc): On Sunday, February 6, 2022, I was in line to inquire about leaving my prescription by mistake from 2/4/22 at the pharmacy. On 2/4/22, I purchased some Voltaren, put it in the store bag in, but not my prescription for "Lidocaine Hydrocholoride Oral Topical Solution". Here's what happened on 2/6/22:

1-Assoc., looking directly at the man behind me, asked if he was there to pick up; she asked me after asking him first.

2-Assoc. seemed impatient with an elderly customer at the register who was signing her name. Assoc gave a strange staring look at the customer w/o customer noticing.

3- Assoc. repeatedly asked me the spelling of my name demanding, to a point, that I agree with her about the first three letters of my last name.

4-Both Assoc. & pharmacist proceeded to look for my prescription via computer, but found it tucked away behind the counter.

I reported this Associate's "impatient attitude" with both the CVS and Pharmacy managers.

Jacqueline Wiggins

Desired outcome: A note of apology from due to this outrageous treatment on the part of that Associate at # [protected] Fairmount Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130

CVS Recurring charge to my account

I am disappointed to say the least of your accounting dept. for the last 3 months I have been charged $5.00 from CVS. I have not purchased anything there lately, much less for sure within the last 3 months. I have been accepting the charge for such a small account just in the case I had forgotten. But by now, I am not paying anymore. Not $5.00 of any other charge.

The honorable and professional response should be to reimburse me for the $20.00 charged to me unduly. Of course, when you check your records you will come up with my account, name and who I am.

A refund and apologies are expected.

Awaiting you kind response.

CVS CVS Pharmacy Refusal to fill multiple prescriptions on the date written by patient's new Physician

The CVS pharmacy on vermilion street in Danville Illinois will not follow Doctor's written order to fill prescriptions on the date he prescribed said prescriptions.

Would like my multiple prescriptions by my new physician DR Cinnamon prescribed in Early February 2022 filled immediately instead on April 30, 2022. CVS did not file claims correctly for NEW prescriptions by a NEW doctor and failed to cancel the former doctors prescriptions which would result in waiving and overriding the dispensing limitations caused by the former doctor's prescriptions that expired when the new doctor took over.

Desired outcome: .

CVS Pharmacy

I have a serious problem with a pharmacy at one of the CVS in Wilmington, NC.

On 01/28/22, I went to my local CVS pharmacy to pick up two scripts for my wife. I was also going to cancel 4 or 5 scripts mistakenly requested by my wife's physician. They were 90 days supply of some vitamins.

What I needed to pick up was alprazalam and Rexulti. Who I was working with at the pharmacy was a new emloyee who kept requesting help from the other techs. What the lady told me was that she could fill the alpraz but she was short the number of pills necessary to fill the rexulti 90 day script. My wife was almost out of the rexalti so they told me they would give her (3) pills and I could come back the next week to pick up the rexulti. When I went back the following week, I was told they had given me the 90 day supply on 01/28/22 of which they had not. To make matters worse, they had billed the 90 day refill to my insurance co.

Now, my wife who is bi-polar, is out of her main medication which is causing a huge problem. Please help me.

Desired outcome: My wife is in desperate need of her prescription being filled.

My wife takes adderall, and has been using this pharmacy to fill the prescriptions. They are extremely rude, don't answer the phone when you call, and are largely incompetent in general. Every time we have to refill her Adderall, they say they don't have it in stock and have to order it. That means we have to wait at least a few days to get it, and in the...

CVS Unethical managerial practices

I was an employee of CVS located at 7408 Annapolis Rd. Landover Hills MD 20784, working as an overnight stock person. I was recently terminated by the manager as he claimed the cashiers till was short and if he couldn’t determine what happened to the finds I would be terminated. I begged him to review the camera as I didn’t steal anything nor did I make any mistakes with the cashiers till. He refused to do so and went on to say, this is the third time this has happened and this was the last time. The manager never stated to me the cashiers till was ever short. We've always ended the till with the cashiers till being accurate, this is the first time i'm hearing the cashiers till being short. I later found that other staff members were using the same cashiers till I was using, which should never happen. That's why the manager could not determine where the shortage stemmed from. I was then blamed for the shortage and subsequently terminated. I feel that I was unjustly terminated and I am asking that someone look into this matter. This manger has defamed my name and my character. Ima not a thief and I did not make any mistakes leading to the shortage. Lastly, I would not want this to happen to another hard working, honest empolyee.

Desired outcome: I'd like to have my job reinstated, maybe at another store in my area. I do not trust this specific manger at this point.

CVS Lack of customer concern

My eye doctor put in a prescription to my local CVS on January 31. They said that the eye drops were not covered under my insurance and that they faxed this info to my doctor. I waited two days before I called CVS and they said they had not heard from the doctor. I called my doctor and they said they would send another script. I waited two more days and then called CVS. They said the eye drops were on back order and that they sent a fax to the doctor.

Why do they fax instead of CALLING the doc? I have two week follow up with the doc this Thursday and I still have not received the medication he prescribed on Jan 31.

Desired outcome: I wish the pharmacist cared enough about their customer to make a PHONE CALL! I don't believe this would have happened if the former Pharmacist, Dawn was still there! Please respond!

CVS Website

CVS Pharmacy is currently blocking Americans from viewing and purchasing from their website while outside of the US. Many Americans travel abroad on a regular basis for vacation, work or to live in other countries. Many of them need to be able to make purchases at CVS and ship those purchases to their US addresses. I personally know people who would order products such as medication, personal care items and other things and have them shipped to their elderly parents back in the US while traveling abroad.

I reached out to CVS for comment on this but their customer service was very unhelpful and now has stop responding altogether.

Desired outcome: I would like it if CVS would allow Americans to shop on their website even if they are traveling outside of the US.

CVS Pharmacy tech treatment of me

Yesterday (2/3/22) at approximately 3:00 pm I stopped at your store (#1593) located on Greenridge St., Scranton, PA. I opted to go into the store as I wanted to purchase 2 items in addition to prescriptions for my wife. The wait in line to the pickup window was short but it still took 15 minutes to make my way to the window. The wait was not an issue to me as everyone behind the counter was obviously busy and doing their best to manage a hectic time. The gentleman directly in front of me further slowed things because he decided to split his purchase after it had been totaled as one (everything had to be deleted and re-entered then re-rung as 2 purchases). Things happen and I was unfazed by the additional delay. To this point all was well, I had my two items (mouthwash and dog training pads) and requested my wife's prescriptions-again no problem or aggravation to this point. The pharmacy clerk retrieved the rx order and rang it up, I asked her not to forget the two items I had placed on the counter to which she responded, "You can take those to the front of the store if you want them!". I said, "Pardon me?", to which she replied if you want to purchase them you need to go to the front of the store, I am too busy.

I have been a customer of CVS for over 30 years and have never has such a request ever made of me. The aforementioned man in front of me purchased several items, and both of the waiting customers behind me also had a few items (a woman behind me witnessed the exchange dumped her other items on a shelf and left when she heard this exchange).

If this is a new policy, there should be a sign stating this.

I did go to the front of the store, waited a few more minutes and finally made my purchase at the self-checkout lane (REG#17, TRN#1688 CSHR0000097).

I do understand delays during unusually busy times, they are an unavoidable event, I do not, however, understand such disrespectful, rude and uncaring treatment.

This local CVS has previously managed to balance being a part of a large organization with small town treatment of their customers. This transaction went beyond cold and uncaring and ventured into rude contemptful behavior.

I have been treated with dignity and respect by your staff (Mark and some new faces included). I sincerely hope this is an isolated incident by an overwhelmed undertrained member of your team.

Sincerely:

David Rodgers
