I registered with DCC in Jan/2018 to study a Mechanical Engineering Diploma (N4/N5/N6) - I paid R16, 200.00.
However after countless problems with finding exam venues & support from DCC, I had decided to cancel my full course & downgrade to N4 only. DCC office (Mickaylah Alexander) advised that they will cancel my remaining courses (N5/N6) & refund the balance of my money after deducting a certain fee for cancellations - R3, 800.00 was to be refunded.
By August/2018 my refund was finalized, forms complete, they advised it will take up to 90 days for my refund to be processed. The refund should then be due by Nov-Dec/2018.
However, it is now Jan/2020 & no refund has been received. It's been more than a year & I am still waiting for this refund.
I've sent countless emails communicating with many people from Damelin - Tanya Haripersad - Claudine van Blerk - Natasha Martin - All promising me I will receive it but I have to keep chasing them from pillar to post, only to hear the same excuses every time or no reply at all.
This is the worst institute in SA. And I hope no one else makes the mistake to study here. Biggest regret!
