Good day
My son finished writing his matric in 2023. His marks for 2 subjects where too low so he needed to re write. He approached Damelin for info regarding this. He was told that he can write the two subjects in the time needed. However, the information that he was given was incorrect and would not have worked as he would have needed to wait till year end for the marks.
We requested a refund (R5000.00) almost immediately (January 2023) This did not happen weeks later! They explained there is a process to follow, which is understandable. However, we are now going into March 2024 and every time we send an email, no one responds, when you call in, they tell you the correct person is not in at the moment and will return your call. We have not had 1 person return the call yet. I took a day's leave from work and went into Durban city campus, but they could not help at all.
They have basically stolen R5000 from us.
We have asked many times for the refund forms, yet not once has anyone sent them to us. This refund needs to go towards my son's education, and they are stifling the process.
