So, I had some plumbing problems and someone recommended Davis Services to me. I wish I had checked out the reviews before calling them. But, I went ahead and called them anyway. They charged me almost $500.00 for just 30 minutes of work! Can you believe that? My dad would say that's highway robbery! I saw their ads on TV saying they're a family-owned business, but they're a joke. I won't be using them again.

Me and my wife, we live in Gaffney and we called Davis Services in Spartanburg on Nov. 1, 2021 to sign up for their hvac advantage club program. We paid over the phone and they said the first service would be in December. But then, a few days later, we started smelling a weird smell from our vents. I called them and asked if they could send a tec sooner, but they said it would cost extra. I wanted to talk to Mr. Mike or Brain D, but they didn't let me. Later, Bobby the ser manager called and said the same thing, that it would cost extra. He talked to me like I was a kid, saying that if a car broke down after servicing, it would cost extra. We're seniors and we don't have a lot of money. We chose Davis because we liked *** ad and the sign over their door that says "In God we trust." But I don't trust the Davis way. ***.

I wish I had read more reviews before choosing Davis Services to install my new heating and cooling and air cleaning systems. They did the installation in April , but by late July, I started noticing problems when the heat and humidity were high. The Phenominal Aire system wasn't working, and a technician came out on 8/3 to inspect it. They found that the unit wasn't working due to "loose" wires. I had to call again on 8/24 because the humidity in my house was very high (70 to 80%). The technician found mold on the a/c supply registers, and some were beginning to rust due to condensation. This had never happened before with my old equipment. (PS Phenominal Aire is supposed to kill mold). The technician also found that there had been no condensate exiting the system due to evaporative processes caused by improper fan speed across the coil. When the fan speed was turned up to the correct setting, condensate began to flow. In the subsequent days, the humidity slowly began to drop to the 60/65% range. It's better, but still high, according to the Mayo Clinic. With improper fan speed and a non-working air cleaning system, moisture was being blown into our home, causing mold formation. I contacted the owner, Michael D, twice via email, asking him to intervene and check out our system and previous service calls. A letter from Mr. D at the conclusion of our installation stated that we could contact him directly if we had any problems. It's clear that he didn't honor his promise since I wouldn't be on this site if he had. A recent air/mold test shows mold spores in our inside air. I'm waiting for his help.

I got my heating and air unit serviced by Davis Services Inc on June 6, 2022. I do this twice a year since I bought it in June . The technicians who came looked young, so I asked them where they went to school. One said he was still in high school and the other said he just graduated, but they took courses at *** Technology Center. One of them asked for hot water to flush out the drain line, which was new to me. On June 15, water started coming out of my bedroom ceiling, and the bathroom ceiling had a crack. I called Davis, and they sent a technician who fixed the problem for over 2 hours. He said they would send someone to fix my ceiling. I called the next day to confirm, and Bobby the service manager said they would fix it after the technicians positioned the unit correctly. They came back on June 27 to do that. I called Bobby every week in August, but he never returned my calls. On September 8, I called and was transferred to Brian D. He was rude and said flushing the line had nothing to do with it getting stopped up. He said Bobby had better things to do than listen to my voicemails and that he didn't want to do business with me because of my bad attitude.
