Parking fine recovery

Despite writing explanatory letters in response to their demand letter, these are never acknowledged. Just another demand letter is sent.

in May I was unable to pay at a parking station in Lewes (2 cards were not accepted) and had to catch train, so I expected a fine.

July 22 - I never received a notice, just a demand letter for payment of £170 from Debt Recovery Plus.

July 31 - I wrote explained circumstances and sent cheque for £60 to cover the fine as outlined in letter this was within 14 days. It should have been resolved.

Sept 6 - My letter was ignored, another demand letter sent for £110

Sept 17 - I wrote again, explained and copied previous letter

Sept 20 - My letter again ignored, another more demanding legal department letter sent demanding £110.

Sept 26 - I tried to call the company, but gave up after waiting more than 12 minutes. So I wrote again, informing the company I have made this complaint.

This is bullying, unacceptable, unprofessional behaviour.

I see this company has terrible reviews on Trustpilot and a negative reputation. Please help

Parking fine

I was contacted by the DRPL debt recovery plus limited in regards to parking fine. They claimed I was parked without displaying a pay-and-display ticket. I clearly had no idea what they were taking about so requested photographic evidence. They sent 2 photos which were crop very blurred and neither showed the car parked. To my surprise one of the photos weren't even of my car. The driver was obscured the shadows were in different places the wheels were different the model was different and there was the passenger whom I didn't recognise
