It was such an easy process! Christopher Mendoza is my point of contact and working with him was such a breeze. He always explained everything in detail and was always one phone call away. I am almost debt free ... few more months! I don't know how I could have done it without them. This process taught me a great lesson: that I can live without using my credit cards!

Easy to begin the process of resolving debt. Counselors are kind, non-judgmental and available to answer questions, suggest additional services and advise where your account stands. Counselors do not call without a reason - NO harassment. I would recommend this company if you are underwater with personal debt. I believe you will get out of high interest debt in the time frame they suggest!

I had my doubts in the beginning but I do not have them anymore. Debtwave has been an awesome service and have assisted me in my debt free journey. My counselor Christopher receives an A+ for his prompt attention, hard work & patience while assisting me. I am proud to say that I have paid off a card and the others are soon to follow. I have my credit cards consolidated with them for last 30 months and i have about 20 more months go to clear all my CC bills (It was $24000.00). They have been very transparent during the entire process and always been reliable to me. I wish i will never have to consolidate my credits in future but i am ever in a situation, i will definitely choose them again for the same reasons. I have been able to reduce my outstanding debt from $30,000 to $8,000 in 2 1/2 years. I will have everything paid off within the next 14 months. More than 30 months ago I realized I needed assistance to relieve the credit card debt that I had accumulated. I have been with DebtWave Credit Counseling for 2& 1/2 years. I have one creditor left to pay off and it will be done by next Sept. or Oct. 2022. I wasn't sure at first, when I called to talk with someone at DebtWave Credit Counseling, but if has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Their staff if very pleasant, knowledgeable, and takes time to explain things to you, so you'll know exactly what is going on. I couldn't of ever paid my debts off in this amount of time. It would have taken me years and cost me more in the long run, because of interest. Debtwave has been tremendously supportive and helpful throughout the entire process and I am nearly done with my debt payoffs thanks to their no nonsense and transparent planning. I feel like I had a very great system of communication from my counselor and even when adding additional creditors a while back, they made the process easy to follow and were very respectful and helpful. I am closer to being free of credit card debt because of Debtwave's well structured and targeted approach. Most of my interest rates were cut to less than half and some to zero percent. Without their assistance it would have taken me over a decade or more with high interest rates. I expect to be done in 36 months total instead or slightly longer depending upon the current pandemic and any potential unforeseen circumstances. Either way, I am grateful to this program and exceptional staff for their guidance during my path to becoming debt free. Their newsletters are highly educational on building financial well-being and knowledge to stay out of debt in the future, additionally.

I have really enjoyed my entire experience with DebtWave Credit Counseling. After having my first kid and taking time off of a job where I couldn't take paid maternity leave, then having my second kid under the same circumstances, I ended up opening credit cards in order to pay for everything I needed while I had no income. I ended up about $19,000 in credit card debt. I had considered getting consolidation loans which still would've left me paying a substantial interest rate and so much extra money in the long run. It took years to even get that down to $16,000, which is where I was at when I came across DebtWave. I had 5 credit cards at 16%, 18%, 21%, 22%, and 26% interest. I was paying $500 a month to credit cards and barely making any progress. They were able to put me on a program where I paid them a monthly $240 and they distributed that payment to the creditors. They got my interest rates all dropped to between 4%-7%. I was able to make additional payments to the credit card companies here and there because of the over 50% cut in my monthly payment. It's 30 months later and I just paid off my last credit card. I hope to never be in that position again but things happen in life. If I ever need financial help for debt like this, I will absolutely be coming back to DebtWave. Genuinely, they saved my future. I had mapped it out before I started DebtWave and had I not called them, I would still be paying $500 a month right now and still would until it's paid off. That's a substantial amount of extra money that I instead can spend on my kids and the things they need. I appreciate everything that DebtWave has done for me.
