On March of 2022 our General contractor (Kent Smith/KLS construction) initiated the plumbing company they use to install a Brizo Shower system. The system was purchased through the Keller supply company at 170 Garfield St. in Eugene Oregon. Dottie was our representative. Since the Brizo Gold GL shower system was installed it has malfunctioned. The hand held shower has been replaced 2x due to a faulty mechanism. The shower head had to be replaced due to faulty mechanism. Now the shower valve or trim plate that controls the shower head and shower arm has fallen off. The first time I called Brizo in attempts to resolve the issue I spoke with "Nick" a representative. It was clear he wasn't going to resolve the issue. The next rep was "Albert". He was in the "escalation" department. I explained the problem and requested due to the multiple problems and complexity of the Brizo Gold GL system, I thought not only should they replace it with a different product that didn't have some sort of design issue, but they should have to pay for the plumber to install the new system. The plumbing cost is where the money lies. Albert said they would not pay for the plumbing. Brizo sold us a defective product. Since that is a fact they should be responsible for replacing it AND paying for it to be done. Clearly if we had not purchased a defective product in the beginning, we would NOT be incurring costs to replace it. I am asking for Brizo to pay for costs incurred due to there product defectiveness.
Delta Faucet Company is an American manufacturer of plumbing fixtures and plumbing materials. It is a subsidiary of Masco Corporation. It manufactures and markets faucets, kitchen sinks, bath/shower fixtures, and toilets under the Delta, Kraus, Peerless, and Brizo brand names.
Desired outcome: I've asked Delta/Brizo to pay for the plumbing cost to replace the defective system we were sold.
