Donna Karan New York / DKNY damanged watch

I have purchased two watches out of which one was DKNY ladies watch and other Tommy Hilfiger gents watch on 1st February, 2013 to be presented as a gift for my parents on their 25th wedding Anniversary from Lifestyle showroom located in Oberoi Mall in Goregaon (East), Mumbai. The scanned copy of details of invoice, warranty card giving the serial no. is enclosed for your ready reference.

I gift wrapped the same as my parents have left to Chennai on 31.1.13 and was back on 3.2.13. As their wedding day was on 4.12.13 on their return the same was given to them so that they can change the piece within 48 days, if required. To their surprise,
on opening the pack, I was shocked to see that the watch’s metal covering the dial was not in proper shape ie there was an extra metal mould. Immediately, the same was brought to the notice of the salesman (Mr. Abhishek) concerned of Lifestyle. The salesman interacted with the Manager and said that the damage has happened at our end and the loss has to be borne by me. He said that the glass was broken which I was not aware at all and was not ready to accept any clarification in this regard. I simply returned home in vain and started feeling very bad becos this was my first gift ever to my parents . My mother again accompanied me to Lifestyle showroom and she once again argued with the sales man as well as the Manager (Mr. Javed) but to our surprise the response was negative. Then my mother asked for the final solution or the matter will be brought to the notice of consumer court, since the glass damage can be accepted to some extent but not the metal damage at any cost. Since there is damage to the metal, the piece is obviously substandard and should not have been put up for sale at all.

When my mother confronted him saying that we would like to go to Consumer Court to get redressal of our complaint, after which he agreed to take it up with watch company. On 04.02.13 he had telephoned my mother and said the Company is not ready to accept the same but the dial and glass can be replaced at the customer’s cost. Which to my knowledge is something ridiculous… after paying a huge amount of approximately Rs.4000/- and within a day after purchasing, if such a response is heard from a dealer, then I thought the matter has to be brought to the notice of the Company.

In view of the above, I request the company to give necessary instructions to Lifestyle to give a new watch or allow me to buy some other new watch in exchange of the existing damaged watch.

Donna Karan New York / DKNY diamonds coming out

i bought dkny watch in india bombay but now i am in leicester and i live in this city. my watch's diamonds are coming out thats really upsetting me its my favourite watch.i bought this watch as its branded and its dkny watch i dont expect this from your company i am not happy with your product i did not expect this from your product can you advice me
what should i do?hoping you to do the needfull thanking you!

Donna Karan New York / DKNY non communication!

I have been progressing a complaint about a substandard item of clothing, via Selfridges (store purchased from) and DKNY itself (brand). I purchased a jumper in December 2010 at a cost of circa £100. And, despite only wearing on about 4 occassions, several holes have appeared on the garment. As I was out of the UK for the first 5 months of 2011 and the jumper was stored with other expensive, cashmere items (all of which are in excellent condition) I have been given no explanation, refund or offer of replacement. I have invested money in progressing this complaint, time, postage, telephone calls and emails but to no avail. As a customer who owns a significant number of top brand items I have experienced excellent customer service from other outlets and, as such, will be 'voting with my feet and purse' - no more DKNY for me!

Donna Karan New York / DKNY loose button on infant clothing

I place my 5 month old in a shirt from DKNY that had snaps on it. The snaps have a false button which is enclosed in the metal casing. The very first day she was wearing it I noticed she was sucking on her shirt (which most babies do!) I pulled her shirt out of her mouth and I noticed that the button from the snap was missing. I was so upset because I had no idea if she swallowed it, because we could not locate it. I contacted DKNY the next day and they did call me back within 48 hours...I was promised a call back, and I was told that they would want pictures of the shirt/snap. I didn't want this to happen to anyone else. Guess what? It has been a month and I have not heard from them. I guess they really don't care!

Brought my 1st pair DKNY shoes was truly in love with my 1st pair . Built ed my outfit for the week so that could wear them at least 2 times a week. But then after 2 months the sole came a loose. So in love with those shoes that I got a friend too glue the soles with gorillas glue. An guess what they still came a loose. But I love them shoes. Tried too returned them for another pair. But I love them shoes no receipt no box.Because I love those shoes..love blind and cost But I love them shoes..

I brought a down puffy DKNY white coat that I loved. When it was time to wash it I looked over the instructions and it said to machine wash. I followed the instructions completely. When it was done the coat smelled funny like wet feathers so I dried it some more. The coat is no longer puffy and it still smells bad. This was a waist of $99.99. I called and left a complaint and my phone number [protected]) but no one has returned my phone call. I guess their to busy.

Purchased 3 women blazers at Macys. They are all the same style. Within 90 days the clasps on each broke. I sent photos via email directly to DKNY customer service and never received any response. Photos are with my complaint.

Bought a Joggers from winners few days back and was only worn for once and there was massive bubbling on the fabric which is prominently visible.

Never expected this type of product from DKNY.

I been a big fan of DKNY but with this type of experience is making me think otherwise.

Please look into this and resolve it as soon ad possible.

I've been one of your at Westfield and I did purchase tracksuit for my nephew. After I did purchase I realised I had a dicount card. I went to back to the store and explained the gentlemen who was at the shopfloor with another two member of staff. first, he didn't understand much English and he was not ready to listen what I was explaining to him. he goes to me we don't di refund. Only exchange and credits refund. I said to him, I don't want to refund. you can give me the difference as credit refund? when said that to him, he become very rude and shouted at me. I said to him can I speak to the store manager? He said am the manager and if you don't leave am gonna call security I was very shocked that point and scary for my life. I'm regular customers who shop at DKNY and love the brand but received that poor service. I'm very disappointed DKNY have people like who are working at company and claimed as store manager and can't even speak English. His my is Suam.

I bought a DKNY full length, hooded down coat in black last winter. I loved the appearance of the coat - at first! The coat continuously sheds. Feathers are appearing on the outside of the coat, coming out of the seams. Feathers are poking out randomly on the sleeve and body of the coat. The inside is no better. The top half of the inner part of the coat ALWAYS has feathers that come out onto my clothing. When I wear this coat, I have to bring a lint roller with me to clean up the feathers. It's a mess. Once, I saw a lady in the streets wearing the same coat. I rushed up to her and asked if she encountered the same problem with feathers. Her response - an emphatic YES!
I refrained from buying DKNY clothing because of their lean to a more musculine side. Now it seems that I will no longer invest in their outerware as well. I paid nearly $300 bucks for this coat. What an expensive lesson to learn. DKNY has lost a self declared shopoholic with this one!

I was at DKNY outlet store the paragons grand prairie Texas today Sunday the 10th of November. My experience was somewhat poor pertaining to what happened to me today a older white lady named Shassy I believe . I was looking at some women sweaters as she approached me she totally smelled of alcohol it smelled like she just came from a bar don't get me wrong she was helpful but totally unprofessional of her I hope she was not the manager. Every time she opened her mouth it was a unbearable stench of pure alcohol in my face I ended up leavening and going to Saks fifth avenue to buy a sweater if may have cost me $100 more but it was better than smelling that ladies breath.

My partner bought me a DKNY watch for my birthday so far I have had to have the diamonds replaced on the strap got the watch back a week later the K fell off the watch face this was from Ernest Jones, I find its disgraceful as you pay a fortune for the name yet the product quality is crap, I will never pay for a DKNY product again its a waste of money

I brought a DKNY watch one month ago from watch shop online. when i recieved the watch it was very scrated and looked old and worn, i paid full price for this watch the same price as was on DKNY website. two weeks after wearing the watch diamontes started falling out. i called watch shop and DKNY who informed me i would have to pay for this and the diamontes are not covered in the guarantee and because i had taken the seal off the strap and face i could not get a refund for the watch because of the scratches. watch shop online - do not buy from them - terrible service and staff on phones are rude! £165 pound down the drain. discusting! http://www.watchshop.com/ this is there website the robbing dogs!
