Grubbs say in their ads that they got a lifetime guarantee on their tub work
Grubbs say in their ads that they got a lifetime guarantee on their tub work. But when I reached out to them about fixing my tub, they said no. I called Grubbs on March 19 to get my tub repaired, which was supposed to be covered by a lifetime warranty. They told me it didn't cover any kind of abuse.
On February 7th and 8th, 2022, I hired Donnie Grubbs, Inc
On February 7th and 8th, 2022, I hired Donnie Grubbs, Inc. for a custom shower replacement. I paid $8,500 for their service. Unfortunately, the shower doesn't look professional and seems like it was done by inexperienced individuals. I've had them come out three times to fix some issues, but they claim they can't resolve them. I doubt the people who worked on the job were certified. They say they can't complete certain tasks because the walls are already up. In my opinion, they should just replace the entire shower at this point.
Date of purchase: June 8
Date of purchase: June 8. I paid 50% of the purchase price, which was $2000 in cash. The salesman promised that the first installation date would be on August 31, and the second date was set for October 10. However, the salesman promised that the windows would be installed on this date. I started following up weekly from September 14. The receptionist answered my calls but never returned to the phone. The next day, I called again, and the receptionist put me on hold. Eventually, the salesperson came on the phone and informed me that the windows wouldn't arrive until December 7. They also mentioned that there was no guarantee. I requested a refund of my money due to this unacceptable delay, but they refused. Frustrated, I decided to contact the ComplaintsBoard.com (ComplaintsBoard.com).

On 04/08, Donnie Grubbs did some work on my home's sunroom
On 04/08, Donnie Grubbs did some work on my home's sunroom. When it rained for the first time, I noticed water on the floor of the structure. Me and my husband let Donnie Grubbs know, and they sent someone to fix it a few days later. That was around the 3rd week in April. The following week, when it rained again (around the 4th week in April), I was inside the structure and saw water pouring from the top and leaking from the bottom. We called Donnie Grubbs multiple times and even went to their physical address. Finally, around the 2nd week of June, they sent someone to re-calk the structure. When we told the person they sent about how bad the leaking was, he said calking wouldn't help and that he would inform his boss. We haven't heard anything else from Donnie Grubbs since then.
On 1/14, Tubbs from Donnie Grubbs, Inc
On 1/14, Tubbs from Donnie Grubbs, Inc. did some work at *** Medical Center. They installed new walls, flooring, and fixtures in a handicap shower. When Mr. came to inspect it, it was clearly mentioned that there should be no "lip" or rise on the floor. However, upon completion, there is now a one-inch rise in the shower. The shower space is too small to safely place a shower chair on, and water runs off the edge, spilling into the hallway.
We have made several calls to Donnie Grubbs, Inc. in an attempt to get this issue fixed. *** has called multiple times, but either left a message or received no answer. I personally called on 4/12 and spoke with ***, but nothing was done. I called again on June 2 and spoke with ***. She informed me that the necessary part had arrived and someone would call me the following Monday to schedule the installation. However, on June 16th, I called again and spoke with ***, who promised to call me back. Eventually, I spoke with ***, who assured me that someone would come out on Friday, hopefully, to install a .

We signed a contract with Donnie Grubbs, Inc
We signed a contract with Donnie Grubbs, Inc. in the spring of 2021 to get a walk-in shower and replace all the windows in our house. They did install the shower, but the handle to turn it on sticks out from the wall. We've asked them multiple times to fix it, but it still hasn't been fixed. While installing one of the windows, it got cracked and had to be replaced. They did come and replace it, but the new window doesn't match the others. The installer didn't mention this, and we only noticed it later. We immediately called *** in February 2022. Every time we call to check on the correct replacement window, they say it's on order and will arrive by a certain date. But when we call for an update, they give us a new date. We understand that there can be back orders, but this has been going on for too long. My husband took pictures of the window and shower. Someone did come to look at them and said that the shower plumbing wasn't correct. They promised to send someone to fix it, but no one ever came. We would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you
I made a deal with this company to take out my old shower tub combo and put in a walk-in shower
I made a deal with this company to take out my old shower tub combo and put in a walk-in shower. I gave them $6,000 upfront and was gonna pay the rest when they finished the job. When they came to do the work, they made one wall longer than the other and left a 3/4 inch gap between the base and my ceramic tile floor. They just tried to fill in the gap with silicone. I've been trying for months to get them to fix these problems. Every time we think we've agreed on a solution, the workers show up and try to fix it in a completely different way than what I talked about with the office people. The workers they sent out even admitted they weren't qualified or had the right equipment to fix it the way we discussed. Finally, they told me they couldn't fix the problems to my satisfaction, but I still had to pay them the rest of the money. I had the cash at my house to pay them when they finished the job. I've included pictures that show how they left the job and how one wall is 2 inches longer than the other. They used some kind of colored paste over the silicone between the ceramic tile and the base of the shower, and they didn't even it out or make it smooth. The color doesn't match anything and it looks terrible.
I payed 50% of the cost for a bathroom remodel by Tubbs by Grubbs on October 2
I payed 50% of the cost for a bathroom remodel by Tubbs by Grubbs on October 2. They said they would install my shower at the end of November. An applicator came out in November and said the salesman measured wrong and it would be another 2 weeks. After 3 weeks of no news, I called and complained. Another applicator came out and measured again and said another mistake was made, so it would be an additional 2-3 weeks. The applicators didn't come back to my home until Dec. 18 to install a window. They said there was another problem with the order. An installer finally showed up at my home in the second week of January. He installed the shower unit and put the window casing in crooked. He demanded the rest of the payment. I also had to pay him an extra $325 to fix the floor that they didn't consider needed repair. I had to wait for another applicator to come to my home. He showed up on Feb. 5th. He took it apart and finished without telling me while I was on the phone. His work was also crooked. The office manager assured me that the "best applicator" would come out and have everything on the truck to fix my window. A sixth applicator came to my home on Feb. 9. He said the window would have to come out. He didn't have any equipment to fix it, so I would have to wait another week. It took 5 months for a shower installation that was supposed to take 48 hours according to their online ad. Product_Or_Service: shower insert.
I had a salesmen come to my home Friday, June 17, 2022 to give me an estimate on replacing my bath tub and shower
I had a salesmen come to my home Friday, June 17, 2022 to give me an estimate on replacing my bath tub and shower. I asked several questions, told him we could put a $2000.00 deposit down to hold our place in the schedule since they say they are 8 weeks out. He pulled out his iPad and started a contract. I was not given a chance to read what the contract said on the iPad. He grabbed the iPad back and said he would email me a copy. At this point he already had my check. After he left the email came thru with the contract. There are not any prices listed for the tub, shower, faucets, etc. It shows a grand total of $16,361 minus the $2000 deposit with a balance due of $14,361. I call their office and asked that the check be held and to send me an itemized invoice for each item being replaced. The lady said she would hold the check and get the new invoice sent over. At no time did anyone from Tubbs by Grubbs inform us we had only three days to change our minds. I called Tuesday and Wednesday. Both days I got a recording that there were technical difficulties in their area and my call could not be completed. I finally got someone today. At first I was told they hadn't ran the check yet, but when I called the bank the check had been deposited on Tuesday, before my 3 days were up. Now they are refusing to refund my money. Monday was a national holiday therefore not considered a normal business day. I believe there are underhanded tactics being used and I do not appreciate being lied to and my money taken. I have talked to 2 different people and now they say I have to talk to the owner, but she is out of the office. I asked for a phone number to talk with her and the office staff will not give it to me. I asked to have her call me, but I don't think I'll get a phone call.
Tub was installed 1/18/10 Tubbs by Grubbs of West Monroe, LA
Tub was installed 1/18/10 Tubbs by Grubbs of West Monroe, LA. Split in the back area which allows water in and mold has appeared. No Lifetime warranty 1/18/10 $2560/Check Agreement of Sales. The tub was installed by Tubbs by Grubbs and the company has failed to uphold their lifetime warranty as advertised on the television, internet, and other social media outlets. They installed tub liner, 3 walls, drain kit and over glow, soap dish, corner caddy, and removed old fiberglass walls. I paid in full with the completion of the job. I signed an agreement with the company. There have been several phone calls in reference to the tub and the mold and mildew that has developed. I spoke with an associate that gave my number to the Manager who then in turn took several weeks to return my calls. The manager told me she would get back to me which took a while. Upon speaking to her she stated that she would send a contractor out to look at the tub. The contractor came and took pictures of the tub and the mildew and the cracks. I called to discuss the matter with the associate and they then sent another person to put caulking around the tub which was a quick fix. Water is seeping through the tub which is causing the mold and mildew. I began later by posting on Facebook for Tubbs by Grubbs in the private messengers to get the person to respond to my calls, after I was not getting anywhere with the phone calls. During the start of the Pandemic it was stated that they were not doing house calls which was expected. So there were 4 months that passed with no correspondence. I then, if I saw a post, I posted an angry emoji on the "likes" comment sections. I was later blocked by the administrator of the page. I no longer was able to comment or post on the page. On several occasions my husband has spoken to an associate who was quite rude and not helpful. The associate is denying that the tub was installed by their company and the material is not theirs. On the morning news on KTVE, the company is spotlighted and stands by their advertisement of LIFETIME WARRANTY. We are asking that the tub be replaced and the warranty is honored.
