I got my fence fixed by this company. They did everything through email, even the payment. Now I need a receipt from them, so I asked them to email it to me. I've called and emailed several representatives to get my receipt. All our communication has been through email.

Amko Fence Kenner LLC got paid a deposit to start work on my front yard fence. They started this project in December and it's still not done. The manager, Patrick, came to my place once and wrote a few things on a to-do list. He said someone would finish these tasks. Then, a guy named Scottie came to finish the work that I had to do myself in the first place. I've sent many emails and pictures of the unfinished work, but no response. Today, Patrick sent me an email threatening to put a lien on my house for non-payment, even though the work isn't finished. Scottie came to fix the work, but ended up damaging my property while trying to fix the supposed completed task.

We hired AMKO to do one section of fence and two gates. They still haven't finished the western side of our home's gate. We've tried calling, texting, and emailing multiple times, but we haven't gotten anywhere. The salesperson said they would pass my information to someone else, but that person never responded. Now, the salesman isn't responding either. The company isn't responding to emails, and when we call, we're told to leave a message. We understand that these are crazy times for everyone, but they were able to complete four fences in our neighborhood after the *** recovery. So why can't they finish this one or communicate with me? I already paid a deposit, and now I received a *** for the final amount, but I won't pay until the work is complete.

AMKO Fence took it upon themselves to cut down my mature azaleas and aspidistra while putting up a new fence. The representative said the company would do whatever it takes to fix the problem. I was in the process of getting quotes from landscapers to submit to AMKO, but they wouldn't accept them. Instead, the representative called a local plant store and got a price of $400 for the azaleas. AMKO decided that was how they would solve the issue they created and deducted the $400 from the balance I owed. They also charged my credit card without informing me while I was trying to resolve the situation amicably. I called and emailed the company multiple times but received no response. This company is very unprofessional with terrible communication, and I would never recommend them to anyone. I have a reasonable quote to fix what they destroyed, and I will pay to have it done, minus the balance I owe. AMKO took matters into their own hands, leaving me without any resolution. I have more notes about my claim, but there's no space to include them.

put a down payment of $1000 on the fence and was told it would take twelve weeks. I waited patiently, but there was no communication from them. When I contacted them, they still didn't have a timeline. I had to call every other week to get an update, and they never kept me updated on anything. After twelve weeks, I called again and was told they were running behind, and now it would take 16 weeks. 16 weeks passed, and I called them again to tell them I wanted my deposit back because I didn't want the fence anymore. They then informed me that they were coming this week to install it. On Saturday, July 3, they came with the fence, but the workers didn't understand or speak English. As they took out the fence, I noticed it was bent, scratched up, and had missing paint. It looked used and not brand new. While trying to install the fence, they realized they were missing the fence posts and forgot to order them. They mistakenly didn't see them on the work order. So I called and demanded a refund, and they told me

I got a quote from Amko Fence on 9/16 and asked when they were scheduling installation for a new fence. My sales person told me it would be three weeks and that I needed to pay a deposit to get on the schedule, so I paid it. He told me to call the office in two weeks to schedule, so I did. I called multiple times, but no one answered, so I left a voice message. Several days passed, and I didn't receive a call back, so I called my sales person on his cell. He said he would talk to the office for me to find out when they were coming. He called me the next day and said they would come the following week, which was supposed to be the week of 10/4. However, no one showed up this week, and I've called the office and my sales person multiple times with no luck. My husband even went to their closed office, but no one was there. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

On September 17, I talked to a guy from Amko Fence Kenner LLC, *** B, who came to my crib and gave me a quote for fixing my fence that got messed up by Hurricane ***. On September 27, I said yes to the quote and paid them $500 upfront, which they charged to my credit card on September 30. Time passed, and I didn't hear squat from these guys about when they were gonna finish the job. I tried calling them, but all I got was a dang voicemail. Fed up, on September 11, I went to their office in person 'cause nobody was returning my calls. I talked to some rep from Amko that day, and they found my paperwork and put it on their buddy's desk. They said I'd get a call the next day with an estimated completion time. Well, guess what? I never got that call, and I haven't heard from Amko since they took my money. I need your help to get these jokers to give me my $500 back on my credit card. I already got my fence fixed by someone else, so I don't need their service anymore. Thanks.

I paid a down payment of $3,876.50 for a Pine Wood fence on Nov-11-2021. The work was done on Dec-30-2021, but the company didn't clean up the excess mud or install a mud board in one section. I contacted the company on Jan-9, and sent them pictures showing the numerous issues: excess mud, missing mud board, defective fence boards, wide gaps between some boards, and a damaged downspout. The company replied on Jan-11, saying they would take care of everything. On Jan-26, they claimed that someone had come out and picked up the mud, but no one actually came and the mud is still in my yard. They also said they installed cedar instead of pine and would credit $50 for the damaged downspout. On Feb-2, the issues still hadn't been resolved, so I contacted the company again and they said someone would be out soon. I asked to be notified of a date. On Feb-22, the issues were still not resolved. I received a revised invoice with a $50 credit for the downspout. I contacted the company to let them know I received the revised invoice and asked if this meant someone would be out soon. The company said yes. On Mar-4, while finally being able to do yard work, I noticed that someone from the company had come out and resolved the mud board issue without notifying me. They trespassed on my property. I contacted the company again, but received no response. I still owe a balance of $3,826.50, but I will not pay until the company resolves all the remaining issues.

I put a deposit down for a vinyl fence to be built on November 13. We started calling in January when we didn't hear back from them. On February 1st, Mr. Pat texted my husband that the equipment was in and that they would start building the fence the same week. They didn't start building my fence until February 18. One side of the house is complete, but the other side is missing the gate. They never called us to let us know when they were coming back to complete, so I called them myself the next week to inquire. Mr. Pat explained that they would complete it by the end of the week of February 26, because the cement had to settle. They never showed up or called. Because they never showed up, I called again on March 1 and March 3, and the rep said Mr. Pat was busy and would call me back. I never received a call back. I have text messages and call logs week after week inquiring about when my fence would be built/completed. They also destroyed my yard. The mud they dug up for the fence is all over the yard and mixed in with cement, making it harder to pick up. I told the sales guy I need the fence to be all the way to the ground because we have a small dog. My dog can crawl under it, that's how much space they left.

They didn't communicate with us at all for months and then showed up one Saturday morning without warning to install our fence. When they sold us the fence they said they would build pillars to hang the driveway gates but they finally admitted that they did not have anyone to build the pillars, so those had to be added later. They would not communicate with our pillar builder, making it almost impossible to get the space correct for the gates. They also installed sections of the fence incorrectly, using the wrong sized posts, and claimed they didn't, but finally, they came back and corrected that. They were also supposed to install an electric gate but never installed the electric part. They also did not remove/dig out the old fence correctly, instead, they left exposed tops of jagged hollow metal posts to collect water and create mosquito breeding in our yard. They also poured their leftover cement both in our yard and in the road and nailed up their Amko sign-up on one of our trees without asking. They never contacted us for the final payment but instead went behind our backs and charged us the full price for all the things they did wrong or didn't do at all to the credit card we had used for a downpayment causing our card overdraft.
