Dry Basement Foundation Repair is a really good company
Dry Basement Foundation Repair is a really good company. They did a great job fixing my basement. The workers were super nice and they finished the job really fast. I'm so happy with the results! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their basement fixed.

Salesman was pretty good but the company didn't stick to their schedule. They didn't dig up the underground lines on time, missed the start date, and I had to cancel the contract. The people in the office were not helpful at all.

We got an old house that's over 100 years old. Dry Basement Foundation Repair came in and jackhammered the basement floor, dug out some more inches, waterproofed the stone walls, put in a sump system, swapped out support posts, and poured a new basement floor. We're super stoked with how it turned out!

I had foundation work done on my house that cost me a lot of money. But it didn't fix the problem. I was disappointed. Then an Engineer recommended Dry Basement to me. They came and did the repairs for much less money. And it worked! I haven't had any problems for years now. Whenever someone tells me they need foundation work, I tell them to call Dry Basement first!

Dry Basement checked out the foundation of our last 2 houses and gave us a report that explained what was, wasn't, and could be a problem in the future. When we wanted to replace the driveway, walk, and front stoop, we knew we could trust Dry Basement to do good work. And they did! Their work made our new home look better and we felt better knowing our yard, home & garage would be stable for years. The crew was on time, fast, nice & organized.

I gotta say, I only give Dry Basement Foundation Repair one star for their "after-service". They did the work back in 2013, before I owned the place, and my basement is still bone dry in 2020. That's a five star result in my book. But watch out for their prices if you need a new pump or any other work during their yearly inspections, which you gotta do to keep the warranty going. They charged me $531.00 for a new pump, plus $98.00 for the inspection fee (they knocked off $20.00 if I let them put a sign in my yard). I found the same pump online for $141.00, and it only took the tech half an hour to put it in. And when they called to remind me about the inspection, they tried to sell me a backup battery for over a grand. You can find those online for anywhere from $110.00 to $350.00. Seems like they're just trying to rip you off to keep that warranty going.
I tried Dry Basement Foundation Repair and I gotta say, not impressed
I tried Dry Basement Foundation Repair and I gotta say, not impressed. They promised to get rid of the water on my property but the pipe was put in the wrong place and the water didn't drain like they said it would. Check out the pics on Google, the water is still right next to my basement wall. Not cool. Plus, my neighbor is ticked off about the swamp on our property line. And to top it off, I had some stuff stolen and I told the company about it but they haven't gotten back to me in like 2 months. I paid more for Dry Basement Foundation Repair thinking I was getting a fancy service but now I gotta fix their mess.

This company took a $1900 deposit from my mom to fix her basement, but unfortunately she passed away before they could start the work. They didn't do any work at all. As her son and beneficiary, I have power of attorney, but they won't give us the money back. Even her husband has asked for the money back, but they keep making excuses and won't give it to us.

Dry Basement was hired by the previous owners on June 11 for "foundation repair project in which the north, east and west walls were stabilized against continuing inward rotation". The repair work cost around $30,000.00 and had a 41 year warranty that was transferable. I bought the house in 2018 and I paid to have the warranty transferred to me. Since I have been in this home, I have noticed more cracks and leaks in the basement walls, severe cracking in the walls upstairs, the outside brick is cracking and moving, the windows are moving in and doors are not closing. I called Dry Basement out 3 times. They keep telling me the basement walls are not moving. I have reached out to other well known foundation recovery companies and had assessments done. They tell me that indeed the basement walls are bowing and moving. I have reached out to Dry Basement and they have yet to make an appointment with me to rectify the situation. I have zero trust in this company at this point.
They came to my crib to fix my concrete patio with poly foam
They came to my crib to fix my concrete patio with poly foam. One of the workers didn't follow safety rules and the foam went everywhere, even on my crib and window. They said they'd clean it up, but when they came back to fix it, they said it was too hard and left. They promised to come back, but it's been months and they haven't returned my calls. I just want them to fix the mess they made. They tried to paint over it, but the color is off and it's obvious. They also messed up my window by taking off the weather stripping and metal covers and not finishing the job. Now my window is exposed to the elements and bugs, which could cause more damage.

Paid Dry Basement Foundation Repair about $6,000 to anchor wall of basement on March 5
Paid Dry Basement Foundation Repair about $6,000 to anchor wall of basement on March 5. They dug a trench in my back yard to pour in concrete and long bolts to anchor the wall. While digging, they broke out a section of sewer pipe and one of the workers fixed it, but he was not a plumber/pipefitter, and the work was never inspected. Shortly after, there was evidence of water seeping into my basement on the wall they worked on. We called, and someone came out and said it had nothing to do with their repair, even though it was on the same wall and didn't start until their repair. In October , water was leaking into my finished basement through the ceiling, and it was determined to be from a sewer pipe backup. Multiple plumbers came out and reported that the sewer pipe was not fixed properly, and the large concrete anchor that the pipe runs through settled, pulling the pipe out of proper drainage angle, causing the backup. Multiple other plumbers say that the sewer repair is not to code standards. Through follow-up with the city of Goddard, we learned that Dry Basement never applied for the permits required for the work they did on sewer and wall, so neither was ever inspected by proper departments to make sure it was done correctly. We have tried to contact Dry Basement directly, but they have been unreliable in calling us back and saying that their work couldn't have led to the issues we're having, so they are refusing to pay for damages. The cost of plumbers responding to inspect and repair for immediate fix was $400. The estimated cost at this point for sewer repair, drywall repair, and carpet is estimated $8,500. We do know other people who have had similar issues with Dry Basement causing damage, doing work with no permits, doing improper work, and refusing to fix damages resulting in that person not being able to occupy their house.
