Easirent The employee Andy at the Tampa Florida Location.

Incident November 18, 2021. I am a Disabled Veteran rated at 100% with service connected medical issues. When I began the interaction with Andy he continued to try and up-sell me with thingsI did not need. I stressed that I'm on a fixed budget. I explained to him I was visiting my 97 year old Mother at the nursing home facility in Dunedin, Florida. He told me that I should absolutely take the $45.00 option to cover my tolls. He explains I would be coming across may tolls on the trip to and from Dunedin. I complaint to him upon my return that I did not come across any tolls and could we work out something. He responded no, telling me I signed the Contract for that option. That is a deceptive business practice. I was informed indirectly that occurs frequently with him.

Desired outcome: I request a full credit of $45.00 on my Capital One Credit Card. If not I will file a Special Civl Complaint against your company and will cost you much more stressing me out.

Let's make this short and to the point, because I did have a gut feeling I would be going down this road (you get what you pay for and you guys truly live up to that!)

Easirent being charged twice for a rental car

on 4/20/21 i booked a car on line for arrival in Fort Myers on 4/22/21. My credit card was charges for $311.79 When we arrived I presented the paper work with booking reference 2194586. We were told by your worker that nothing was showing in the computer for this booking. He advised that he had a car available.I asked about the $311.79 charged & he advised us that we would not be charged because nothing showed in the computer. A new reservation was started Reservation#2195922 0n April 22 2021.for the charge of 406.74. When i received my statement the charge for 311.79 was on which needs to be reimbursed . Its funny how all of sudden this showed up in computer. I spoke to a worker by the name of A.J when I called he spoke to a manager & said refund would not be a problem. I sent a letter with copies Rental agreement & Booking #. As of today no response . Just so you know the worker tried many times looking for the booking...All of sudden it shows up after the fact. Easirent Car Hie

Booking Ref No 2210511 Mr Bernard Long. Liverpool Airport 08.00hrs 25/06/21
Yet again this company fails my booking.

I had been trying for 2 days previous to confirm my booking and collection, on all your advertised phone No's without any response.
Today I flew in to Liverpool Airport, tried again 23! times ( all phone calls logged) [protected], [protected], [protected] still no answer AS THE PLACE WAS SHUT!
We had a hospital appointment at 10.00hrs in Liverpool, so I called your [protected] " eventually " the guy answered I explained my problem, he promised to raise the depot and call me back, running out of time and with family a suitcases and in heavy rain, we walked to Avis and rehired at great expense.
Eventually 30 mins later the depot called me, almost 3 hours after there advertised opening time ? THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME! and reading other blogs it's quite common.
I'm really not going this go away this time, so you really need to come up with a solution before we go to the another level.

Easirent Car rental

I rented a car for the first time using easirent had a terrible experience and will never again due the company. I rented a car West Palm Beach FL. form 3/22/21-3/28/21. First waited a long time to be severed 35 minutes. I wasnt aware I needed proof of my car insurance and when I gave the policy number was advised to call back so the agent can verify with Gieco that I had a valid policy. When I was escorted to my rental car the agent looked over the car had some scratches on it and left. When I started the car the engine light icon for deflated tire low pressure was illuminated I went back to get the agent and they were brasking for lunch and walking away form the office. I made him aware of the icon and he replied "It's Florida the heat makes affects the tire pressure"? I was surprised and was not offered another car. I drove 90 minutes to Vero Beach and the car felt unsteady I stopped to put air in the tire it said the three other tires were at 37 or 38 percent the rear driver side tire said 20 percent by the time I reached my relatives house the rear tire identified 16 percent. I called numerous times and was disconnected many times until I got an agent form West Palm Beach. This is where this becomes even more unacceptable. I was told it probably a sensor and not to worry the car is safe? I asked for a manager and for the next 45 minutes my family as witnesses and argument perused for me to have a new car delivered to the home as the car had a flat tire and wasnt safe to drive. The agent suggested I drive back to West Palm Beach? Obviously there was no regard for my safety and I refused to drive back and insisted that the deliver another car. I said only and idiot would take a chance and drive on a flat tire. A female agent said"If I drive all the way out there and the tire isnt flat!" I was astonished it felt like a threat.. Why would I fabricate a story? I was asked for 250 $ deposit for damages? Ive never had to leave a desposit with other rental companies and still havent been refunded my deposit. Easirent Made us purchase insurance

To whom it may concern,
This is the complaint letter I sent to those whom I thought could help my wife and I solve an issue that we found to be
very troubling. It involved an employee at the Jacksonville Easienrt, specifically the manager named Franky.

We went to pick-up our rental on February 15th, 2020 and had all the information we were told to bring (credit card, drivers license). The young man, Franky waiting on us, informed us we needed proof of our auto insurance which we did not bring because we were not asked to bring it. When we challenged that he informed us that local rules can require them to ask for proof of insurance. We have Erie Insurance and at this time on a Saturday they are closed and not open on Sunday. The manager, Franky, said we couldn't have the car without proof of insurance. We told him we would call and give them that information on Monday and he said ok. Then he blindsided us about the in-kind coverage on our credit card which we thought we had but would check with Bank America, his response made us feel threatened and also taken advantage of. Again, none of this was mentioned on any of the documents. It was hard to understand Franky at times which only made the situation worse so my wife took over. Once again, we were told we couldn't take the car without the proof of insurance, which also was never mentioned on the paperwork. My wife explained we would call them on Monday with the information so the charges that we paid extra for, would be taken off once that information was given Franky and that would be ok. We signed off and waited for the car, which was not what we asked for. It looked like the worst one on the lot and the windows were very dirty and very hard to see out of the windows because of the stickers on the side window.
On Monday, as promised., we called Erie to get the information for our insurance and also Visa to make sure we had the in-kind benefit. Both of these services were to be taken off our bill once the information was supplied. Called [protected] on Monday the 17th twice, once busy and 2nd time hung up on after we told them we were calling with the information they needed. Called again Tuesday the 18th and kept getting busy signals.
Not only was this a terrible experience initially, but customer service once they knew why we called, decided to hang up and not answer the phone after they saw the number. Thankfully, the return went smoothly and very glad the person who waited on us was helpful. The rep at the desk upon return, Dasha, informed us that all she has to do is ask for proof, if not available then it would have been accepted, that being two adults in there 70's would have insurance.

Easirent car rental

Booked car for pick up for 12:30 pm on 2/28/2020 Reservation reference number 1851782. Arrived at car rental location in Fort Lauderdale and waited in line for over 2 hours. At times no employees at the desk, observed one employee leaving. Had pre-paid for car which I regret, because I had to leave and arrange car rental pick up with another company to avoid missing my cruise. Employees were taking their time and did not seem to care that we were standing in line that long. Some people in line where taking pictures of the situation. This is not how a reputable business is run. I would like to request a return of my prepaid car rental fee ($78.16). Hope this company can approve there customer service. What I observed was very sad

Easirent credit card service

to tell you the truth i realy dnt think this is going to go any where
from seeing your customer web site your in england and im in usa here we go
before i arived in west palm beach florida i had made arrangments with easirant for a rental car and paid for it on 2-28-20 when i arrived at the airporit i called the rental office for a shuutle to pick us up before i could finish asking my questions they hung up on me this happen twice i waited a half hour for your one shuutle van to pick us up, on our way to your tiny little office your driver came to a police barricade beacuse the vice president of the USA was coming thru we waited another 45 minutes in the van until the barricade was lifted when we got to your office at a hotel the lady at your service desk had me and 1 other person fill out a lttle piece of papper with our names and said i was number 2 and the other person was # 1 then she did nothing we just sat there for another hour finaly a man came in and said did you check us in she said no she even told us to go outside, well tne man boss check me in and said i pass my 2 hour pick up time and it was 1:00 and my pick up time was 10:30 and said he was going to charge me $70.00 for being late i told him it wasnt my fault i was late it was your employees who made me late all he would do was stair at his moniter with a dirty grin and said it was 1:00 over and over and would not listen to me i could tell he was very iragant well i want my 70.00 dollars back that he charged me, this office was so on organized i whach him walk around the parking lot with hundreds cars out there holding a key in the air beeping the hornbutton looking for a rental car for me which he couldnt find, i said to him heres another half of hour waiting for him to find a car which he never found he said it was only 2 minutes then he gives me a car that was there the hole time itinerary # [protected]

They have a rogue employee at at least one of their offices. The man told me his name was "Gordon, " and lied to me repeatedly about buying insurance. After about an HOUR he spoke with my insurance agent who assurred him my insurance covered rentals. He hung up and told me I needed "denial of service" insurance. I finally got him to accept my waiver of it...

Easirent car hire

I arranged to book a car on the 11th November 2019 for 6 days from 10am but I also booked a car for 2 days on the same day from 7.30 am, This was booked at the Bristol Airport Bristol
I managed to get the vehicle but I now see that there was a misunderstanding as the booking for 2 days was booked instead of 6 days.

So I received a call from a polite member of your team(v.mail) around 11.00am asking if I could confirm which booking I wanted as he recalled that there was 2 actual bookings around the same time, I wanted the longer booking for 6 days but he required confirmation from me.

I picked this message up at 6.00pm after work when then returned the call an spoke to a Jamie who advised that I need to pay a penalty fee as the car was being returned late also the 2 first names on the booking are different.

I said I think there has been an misunderstanding on this and that I would see if I could get a refund when I paid the Penalty as I wanted the car for 6 days;
I then reconsidered and agreed to pay the penalty provided that I could re-rent a car today. He said that because I was trying to get a refund initially and wanted to report a mix up, he said he will not rent me a car. which upset me as I needed the car for 6 days.
so I returned the car he advised me that I have been black listed by easierent anyway.

Easirent service

I dropped a car off to Easirent Heatheow on the 11/11/19 at around 5pm. When I was waiting for a shuttle bus to take me to Heathrow airport, a member of staff (Kam) wearing a shiny puffer jacket, bald head with thin beard walked into the reception where I was standing. He saw me and made a comment to another member of staff (wearing yellow high vis jacket) "who's this [censored]", "what's this gay boy doing here". Obviously he thought he was wispering but he was loud, loud enough that I heard him nice and clear. I felt so embarrassed, ashamed and felt like I was in high school again being bullied buy other kids. I was a victim in school
And college by bullies and as I grew little older, I always thought I have left that behind. Living in 21st Century and hearing disgusting comments like that makes me sick. I will be taking this case forward to police too. I would like the higher management to take action against bigots and sexist bullies staff like that immediately.

Easirent damage which was already on the vehicle when I bought it

The car I collected had many bumps and scratches, including to the wheels. I have photographs. When I returned the car, they charged me for damage that I had not caused. I drove only 60 miles in the car. I did not bump or damage it in any way. I have been driving for 40 years. I am a very competent and careful driver.
I have photographs, but they are too big to load.

Easirent car hire at birmingham airport

I booked a car with easirent Birmingham airport for collection on 5/8/19 returnig it on 12/8/19 and when I went to collect the car my Spanish credit card failed I offered my English credit only to be told this was not acceptable Even though it was in my name, the guy on the desk said I would have to cancel my booking CS1629727 without a refund and he would sort me out another car which he duely did however it was going to cost £288 plus I was told I had to buy a full tank of fuel in advance at a cost of £56 making a total of £344 I had no choice.
I also had another car booked with another company for15/8/19 and was told by easirent the same thing would happen, I cancelled the booking and when I arrived to collect the car ref CS1644690 I was charged £552 when my original booking was for £264.
On returning the car on the 6th Sept I asked to speak to the manager and explained what had happened, he said that was not right and I needed to contact head office which I did on 25th Sept
It is now 1st No member I I have not recieved any commu nication from easirent apart from an acknowledgement I received giving me a case number which is CS1644690-01.

Easirent £52 deposit not refunded from 23 aug

I phoned to book a van at Belfast facility with pick up at city airport (George best) on 23rd aug, van was available and was told to pay deposit by card and rest when I came over to collect van. I paid £52.60 on card then was told right away that booking couldn't proceed but that I would be refunded my deposit. I have phoned and phoned and phoned and keep being told it will be refunded. It is now October 04th and still no refund. My booking ref that didn't go through was [protected]. Want this sorted

SCAM. Big time scam. I got a quote from them online and when I arrived at their office they gave me a quote that was $250 more than originally quoted. I said I won't take that offer and left and went to Avis. Then I found they charged my credit card $57.27 anyways. Easirent renting a car

I booked a hire car from the 9/9/2019 to 14/9 /2019. The cost of the hire was £54.95. When i arrive to pick up the car i was told that because i did not have a credit card and wanted to pay with my debit card it would cost me an extr a £178.00. I delined and said i wanted to cancel booking . I was told i would probably lose a days hire as i cancelled after i was due to pick up car. I said ok but have heard nothing since.

Easirent charge remaining deposit 700 euros with no refund

Why Easirent charge us remaining deposit Euro 700 after we had pre-authorized Euro 2100 for deposit? It's been 4 weeks after we finished our trip but we still haven't get remaining deposit back. The customer service only ask us to wait wait wait... In terms and Conditions it never mentioned we have to pay remaining deposit, and no one explain to us what is remaining deposit for. Definitely poor service and arbitrary charges!

Easirent rental car company (easirent)

I purchaced a rental car on august 8, 2019 at approximaltly 1309 hours at their airport cloghran CO Dublin. I have never been so swindled by their coustomer service. They were unprofessional with the contract adding fees that were not property explained to me. My first copy of my rental aggrement on the details clearly states fuel type was blank. No one told me the car i rented for the week was DEISEL... Also when I dropped it off Saturday. August 24 at approximately 1003 hours. I was told the car was improperly fuelled and charged me 700 euros. totaling 786.00 usc. the Employee cound not explain how they got to the price, But quickly printed out a new rental for both pages for the fuel to Deisel... WHICH WAS NOT ON MY ORIGINAL PAPERWORK... please contact me on this manner. [protected]@yahoo.com
