I have tried calling Ecomark for two weeks, left messages and even did online chat with no response! The customer Service is not up to par!

Is this company still in business? We were contacted on September 1 and told to not plan any extended vacation over the next couple of weeks (early September). We expected therefore an install in early September. Since then we have sent many emails (to four different people), and left phone messages (at least two different numbers), but have not been able to contact that company. None of the emails or phone messages were answered. We paid half of the price of the solar system.

We purchased a home solar system through Ecomark Solar. The system is producing negligible energy and the representative with EcoMark (***) confirmed to us that they did not do a proper shading analysis on the panels, so the effectively get no sun to product energy. (We have this admission on a recorded voicemail). *** offered multiple times to work with management to get the issue resolved for us, which will entail moving the panels. But despite promised, they have never followed up to provide a resolution path. Panels were installed last Sept 2020 and we paid 20K.

We contracted with EcoMark Solar to have a solar system installed. Installation was a nightmare with multiple confused and unsupervised subcontractors, repeated problems, and system issues. The system has never worked properly for more than a few months at a time. It is currently down again. What really infuriates me is that now EcoMark refuses to help us in anyway or even return our phone calls or emails. I feel like we have a lemon of a system and the company responsible for it is now getting away with screwing us over, but we would be satisfied if EcoMark would just take responsibility for their work and get things fixed.

Contracted to have ecomark install a solar system. Gave them a down payment of $27,354.50 on November 5. I was informed by them in mid January that they would not be able to install the system as contracted due to building code requirements. I have no issues with this as that is out of their control however, I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. After one month of calling them I still had not received my refund so I disputed the charge with my credit card company, They reversed the charge but there is now a hold on my account as they await a response from EcoMark. So it has now been four months with me being out $27,354.50 that could be earning me additional income.

When my wife and I had our initial sales call we were told that they were giving us a $1500.00 check at the time of installation. Its was an incentive to get us to buy at the time because of the Covid pandemic. We agreed and we signed all documents. Our install occured but no $1500.00 was given to us. I contacted Ecomark and they told us that is not how it was being done now. They said I needed to fill out a w-9 and then I would get my money. They said they would mail me one and I have not received it. I dont understand why the sales rep doesn't bring us the check along with paperwork that needs to be signed. I purchased from this company at a prior address but now I wish I would have gone with another company.

Started the process to obtain solar panels in April 2022. This entire time to move forward in this project I have had to call the project manager to find out any information. at the beginning of August 2022 I called again and found out I had a new project manager out of the blue. His information that he gave me was my equipment was delivered to the subcontractor and should be hearing from them within a week or two to get me on the schedule. This has yet to happen. The new project manager asked me to call them since he couldn't get any answers. Now I all i get is "were working on the issue to get you an installation date". They blame the subcontractors and refuse to take any responsibility. at this point i could take it or leave it with them, for all the hassle I've gone through with this whole situation.

EcoMark installed 20 rooftop solar panels for us in Nov-Dec of 2015. Final price was $23,808. April (5.5 years after installation) after a big snow storm a leak started under the panels in our master bedroom. Because the leak was under the panels we called EcoMark first. EcoMark sent a tech who went inside our attic. He stated that the leak was not caused by the solar panel mounts. He never went on the roof or did a leak test. To fix the leak we chose AMC Roofing to do the repair work. They took photos of the roof before starting the work. The photos show cracked tiles and attempts to repair with caulking. They also show some footings for the panels that were not properly sealed. Prior to the leak no other roofer has been on our roof except EcoMark. Some of the cracked tiles were under the solar panels so the panels needed to be removed to do the repairs. We did contact EcoMark to detach and reset the panels for the repair but they told us to just do it ourselves.

3.5 years after having our system installed by Eco *** we have had to reach out to replace half of the panels they put on. Every time a panel failed, I would contact them and they would file a warranty claim and come out and replace it free of charge. When I reached out to inform them of two more failing panels last month in hopes of having them replaced, they informed me that they no longer have a team of people to file the claims and replace the panels. They encouraged us to contact other solar companies for the work, but none of the local companies will service a system that was installed by EcoMark. Other solar companies are encouraging us to demand compensation from EcoMark for this situation. Other companies have also expressed shock that 50%+ of the panels have needed replacement in only 3.5 years. EcoMark has left us high and dry with a underperforming, inadequate system and will not help us with the failing panels or help us locate technicians who will. There has been no guidance as to how their customers should manage this predicament, but it appears they are still installing systems to new customers.

I purchased a upgrade to my existing solar system (additional panels, batteries, new circuit panel and car charger). I have been working with them for almost a year to get my new system installed. I learned that they subcontracted the installation to PeakView Solar how is just now starting the installation. I learned today that the finance company Mosaic, wants to start making payments to them starting August 1st, 2022. Turns out that they paid EcoMark for my installation back in April 2022. PeakView is telling me that it will be weeks before the system is installed, inspected and turned on and that the car charger is on back order, with no arrival date. I have called Mosaic and filed a complaint but they tell me that since they already paid EcoMark they expect me to start my payments. None of these details were part of my contract nor were they disclosed to me in any form. I have spoken to and written EcoMark with no response. I fell that I have been taken advantage of and misrepresented in the transaction from day one. Why should I have to start making payments for a system with no clear date of final installation and inspection defined.

I called EcoMark (as I have done before) only to find out they no longer maintain contractors to fix the equipment they installed. Only get a voice message with a list of phone numbers to call for the companies that make the equipment they installed. No other directions other than phone numbers. First... how is a customer supposed to know what is wrong in the first place? This was one of their big sales pitches to me that they maintain local contractors to do the work and the primary reason I went with them. So, call the number provided and they provide me with a case number to give to the installers (EcoMark). Text, email, and website chat to EcoMark with no response. Website chat... too busy. Says for faster response text through cell... text through cell and no response. Was told to email them (by SolarEdge), which I did, also no response. The community I leave in has a large *** and I will not be recommending them. I would expect that a company that is part of their sales pitch that they maintain local contractors to quickly fix issues would stand by what they say. Have a feeling this company must be close to going out of business...
