Review:
I recently had a cross country move from *** to *** and it took them nearly 6 weeks to deliver my belongings. When my items finally arrived at the destination, I was disappointed to find that every box had been crushed or torn open. Additionally, my furniture was damaged and a framed mirror, which had been boxed by the movers, was completely destroyed.
We hired this company a few weeks ago to move us from Boulder CO to San Jose CA and they gave us a great service
We hired this company a few weeks ago to move us from Boulder CO to San Jose CA and they gave us a great service. We got our stuff last Friday and thanks to the way they packed everything, there were no damages. Friendly and professional crews. We'll use their moving services again in the future.
I'm a super busy person, so packing and moving was something I had zero time for
I'm a super busy person, so packing and moving was something I had zero time for. I hired Eden's Moving to do all the heavy lifting for me. Watching them on my camera system, I gotta say, I was pretty darn impressed with how quick they got things done. They packed up and moved all my stuff in just one day. And guess what? Not a single thing went missing or got messed up. I'll definitely be reaching out to them for any future moves. They're hands down the best moving company out there.
We had a good feeling about this company right from the beginning
We had a good feeling about this company right from the beginning. The first thing they offered was a physical or video walkthrough to avoid any misunderstandings and price differences, which was really professional. The whole move was really great. The way they packed things and handled our stuff was a pleasure to see. We got our things 8 days after they picked them up in San Jose, and everything arrived in the same condition. We had a few plates that got broken, but it's not a big deal. Thanks for helping us with our move from San Jose, CA to Parker, CO!
After gettin' a bunch of estimates for our move to Queens, which were all over the place, we decided to go with Eden's 'cause they treated us
After gettin' a bunch of estimates for our move to Queens, which were all over the place, we decided to go with Eden's 'cause they treated us like family. When we called 'em up, Drew offered to come over and give us an estimate in person. He was real friendly and knew a lot 'bout the movin' industry. We felt real comfortable with this company and the movers did a bang-up job in our home in Denver. The customer service folks kept us updated 'til the delivery truck showed up at our new place. The whole process was real nice, thanks to Eden's hardworkin' staff. We appreciate all your help and will definitely recommend you to our friends and family.
Unfortunately, I booked through a broker who told me the movers were highly reliable and no need to worry about extra full coverage insurance
Unfortunately, I booked through a broker who told me the movers were highly reliable and no need to worry about extra full coverage insurance beyond the basic federally regulated minimum. Well, come to find out, Eden's misplaced a part of our bedroom set furniture. I can understand it getting damaged, but lost? That tells me that after spending $8000 on the move, you can't really trust the moving company to back you up at all. Enough said about any moving company at this point, let alone Edens'. Supposedly, they are A+ rated, but on what basis? Losing a few pieces of furniture every now and then is considered okay for an A+ business? How can a moving company simply lose an item (or items, as other reviews suggest)? Ridiculous. Don't trust this so-called A+ rated moving company who are supposed to back their customers... unless you want the same experience!
I wouldn't recommend this moving company if you care about your stuff
I wouldn't recommend this moving company if you care about your stuff. We used them once and had some small issues, but it was okay overall. So we decided to use them again for our move from CO to VA. BIG MISTAKE. They broke our brand new Traeger Grill because they didn't wrap and secure it properly, so it got bent. They also bent the handlebars on our lawnmower. Our washing machine was missing the drum shock and the lid was bent and damaged. It was a new appliance too. Our wooden kitchen table leaf attachment got broken, so now it doesn't latch. Our buffet cabinet got cracked on the sides. And that's just a few of the damaged items. Our dresser, microwave car, antique rocker, a couple of lamps, and souvenirs were all damaged beyond repair. We filed a claim and they said our damages were worth less than $200.00. Seriously? The Traeger Grill is new and it cost over $800.00. Seriously, don't use this company. Find another moving company with professional and experienced employees. ZERO STARS for Eden's Moving Company.
Our experience with *** Moving Services deserves a 1, only for the fact that their customer service representative, ***, was satisfactory
Our experience with *** Moving Services deserves a 1, only for the fact that their customer service representative, ***, was satisfactory. The quote w e were given initially by ***, who was at our home in *** and viewed all items and rooms was competitive. BUT come moving day, the movers said it was going to be $1000.00 more than our given quote due to their in house 'estimate.' Since we had to be out of our home the next day, we were stuck. Our move was cross country -- Colorado to ***, and furniture was moved to two different locations before delivery. Totally incompetent with furniture and boxes including those we marked fragile and packed with utmost care and extra packing materials. On move in day, everything arrived in a large, old broken down truck. The movers were far from professional with a father as the 'professional', and the rest --- his wife and children, were not. They had to take several breaks and had to take all directions from the father. We had 15 items damaged or broken including a large armoire, island table, night stand, glass pictures, dishes, glasses, and bed frame...ALL of which were wrapped, packed, and the items they wrapped with extra Padding were still damaged. So, to make a CLAIM for damages with a third party involves a ridiculous amount of paperwork, photos, evidence, forms filling for each item, TIME, then wating almost 3 months to hear back. Plus *** can deny any item from compensation submitted. We were offered $178.80 for damaged items that we had submitted as worth $1000 on our end. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!
After reading all those great reviews, I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed
After reading all those great reviews, I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed. The lack of communication and organization is just plain infuriating. They promised me a quote with "no hidden fees," but as soon as I changed my address, bam, the price goes up. And get this, it's not because of the distance (which stayed the same), but because they claim they need a shuttle. I mean, I guess that kinda makes sense, but when I saw the parking lot they were talking about, calling it "too small for a semi," I felt like they were just pulling a fast one on me. That parking lot is huge and wide open!
But that's not all. Even after paying them in full upfront, they don't even have a driver to bring my stuff to me. First, this guy Brian asks for the delivery date, and I thought they would make it happen. Then he tells me it might take 3 days, which I can understand. But then it turns into 5-14 days... If I had known that from the start, I would've looked into other options or at least packed a suitcase for that long (but nope, everything was already boxed up when he dropped that bomb on me). And to top it off, after they picked up all my stuff, they didn't even bother to reach out about the delivery like they promised. It wasn't until I reached out a second time that someone finally called and said it might take up to 21 days, and they still don't have a driver lined up.
I really wish they had been more prepared and kept me in the loop so I could've planned accordingly. I got laid off because of the pandemic, and I put every penny I had into paying Edens for this service. I was counting on them to take away the stress of moving, but boy, were my expectations shattered. I really hope Edens can get their act together because they've put me in a terrible situation.
The start was great
The start was great. Ofra did a great job estimating. The movers from home were really good. They were polite, super efficient. We mentioned how awesome everyone was. We got 30 days of free storage which we used. We scheduled our delivery in TX and they worked with us. The driver arrived and said he was waiting for his helpers. They showed up. One helped the driver unload the truck and put items in the garage and driveway. The other three were bringing things in at a slow pace. We helped by telling them where to put things and unwrapping the pads. There was no walk-through to check the rooms and figure out where things should go. Here's where it went downhill fast. The three guys moving things into the house kept saying they would remove trash and help for a small payment on the side after the driver left. The driver overheard them, called them out, and they got into a heated argument with swearing. I called customer service and they said the driver had been with them for a long time and wouldn't do that. I had the speaker on and let him listen, but he refused to acknowledge it. The driver fired the three guys, paid them in cash, and they left. Our garage was full, the driveway had items on it, and it started to rain lightly. The driver said he would move everything into the rooms, which he did. The next day, my wife went to put on her watch and it was missing. She had put it in a drawer in the master bathroom. We also bought new phones with a contract that required us to turn in the old phones. When we went to turn them in, they were gone. We called Edens and explained the issue. They said they weren't responsible and told us to file a police report. So we did. The police investigated and found out that the three guys were hired off some list. The driver didn't know them and didn't have their names. The police also talked to Edens and said this wasn't normal and that they should have made sure to get the names of the workers. But Edens didn't take any responsibility. DON'T USE THEM.

I hired Eden's Moving to move me from KS to CO, and almost all of my stuff arrived with problems
I hired Eden's Moving to move me from KS to CO, and almost all of my stuff arrived with problems. Four things got completely wrecked, one thing went missing, and almost everything else got damaged. They even messed up my flooring, but they did work with the landlord to get it fixed.
Company hired for moving help
Company hired for moving help. They gave me a price and I paid some of it upfront. They said my stuff would arrive between January 14th and 17th, but now they're saying it won't come until January 18th. This change is costing me more money because they switched the truck that's bringing my furniture.
Moving company didn't put furniture back together after delivering it to our new house
Moving company didn't put furniture back together after delivering it to our new house. They piled every room with boxes and furniture, so we couldn't even reach our beds. We slept on the floor for 3 nights because it took us that long to access our beds. They dismantled our furniture in Arizona and were supposed to reassemble it. We paid them a whopping $13,000.00 to handle our move.

The moving company didn't deliver one of our boxes, which had around $500 worth of valuable stuff
The moving company didn't deliver one of our boxes, which had around $500 worth of valuable stuff. These were special items that are considered collectibles. I got an email saying that someone tried to register one of them, which means that my things are now with someone else. I'm going to report this to the police. It's possible that the company either stole them or dropped them off at the wrong place. This moving company messed up by not delivering my entire shipment and either took my things or gave them to the wrong people.
I had a bad experience with Eden's Moving Services LLC
I had a bad experience with Eden's Moving Services LLC. They brought my stuff to my house on January 15, 2022, but unfortunately, three of my items got damaged during the move. I tried calling them multiple times, but one time the lady even hung up on me. I filed two complaints with their offices, but I haven't received any response yet. My bookcase, china cabinet, and my baby's dresser and changing table were all severely damaged. I showed the mover the damage, and he advised me to report it by calling, but I've tried many times and haven't received any response.
Edens moved us from Larkspur, Colorado to Freeport, Florida
Edens moved us from Larkspur, Colorado to Freeport, Florida. Throughout the move, they broke my Weber grill, smoker, and fire pit. Additionally, our dining room table and two dining room chairs were damaged. We filed a claim, but they informed us that the reimbursement would be minimal. Furthermore, a 13-year-old kid unpacked the truck at our new home and carelessly slammed boxes containing fragile objects into other items, causing them to drop heavily onto the floor. Consequently, numerous small items within those boxes were broken. In total, they caused damages exceeding $3,000, and we anticipate receiving only a minimal reimbursement.
We hired Eden's Moving Services LLC to move our stuff from *** to Phoenix
We hired Eden's Moving Services LLC to move our stuff from *** to Phoenix. The move didn't go so well, though. Some of our things got damaged, even though we paid extra for them to be wrapped and boxed up properly. They didn't do a good job with that, especially with a ceramic stool. They just put it in a box without any padding or wrapping, and then they went ahead and placed a heavy wooden magazine rack on top of it. As you can imagine, both items got wrecked. We filed a claim for the damages, and they offered us a settlement of around $70. But here's the thing: the ceramic stool was worth about $450, and the magazine rack was worth $100. So, their settlement offer was way too low.
Me and my wife hired Edens Moving to help us move out of ***, to ***
Me and my wife hired Edens Moving to help us move out of ***, to ***. When we set up our move, both me and my wife were told, over and over again, that all our stuff would be taken care of and if anything got damaged during the move, it would be replaced. They said there was no need for us to get extra insurance because Edens would cover everything, and they promised to handle our belongings with extra care. But guess what? After the move, we found out that a lot of our stuff got messed up, and it was worth thousands of dollars in damages. Even the movers who dropped off our things at the new place were shocked by all the damage and said sorry. They assured us that they would replace anything that got damaged. But when we submitted our claim for all the broken items, they only offered us a pathetic $231.00 as compensation.
On 6/4 we got a quote from Eden's Moving Services LLC for our move
On 6/4 we got a quote from Eden's Moving Services LLC for our move. The initial estimate was ***. However, when our belongings were being loaded onto the truck, the driver claimed it was a different measurement, ***cuft. We tried to contact the company for 2.5 days, worried that our items were being held hostage because we didn't have the additional money. Eventually, the company ended up charging us the originally quoted amount.
On 6/21, our items were delivered by a middle-aged man and two minors. Unfortunately, we discovered that 34 items had been broken or damaged during the move. Among these were unique pieces of art and irreplaceable family heirlooms. When we asked the same driver to handle our belongings with care, he became defensive and aggressive. He even made racist and sexually inappropriate remarks, which made me feel unsafe. I had to call my partner to come home and protect me. I was so scared that I locked myself in the bathroom and didn't leave my apartment for a long time.
It's disappointing that Eden's Moving Services LLC didn't take responsibility for the harm they caused, beyond just the physical damage. We are now facing over $20k in damages.
I hired Edens Moving to move my stuff from *** to Mississippi
I hired Edens Moving to move my stuff from *** to Mississippi. They messed up big time. My things got all messed up, like my antiques and electronics. When the truck got to Mississippi and they opened it up, the boxes were all crushed, filing cabinets were crushed, furniture wheels were broken off and shattered, and pieces of gum wood laminate were missing. The box with my commercial printer was completely destroyed and they tried to hold it together with a ton of tape. On top of that, they kept my stuff at their place for almost 20 days without asking me. It's a real pain in the butt. Edens is a terrible company. I've dealt with a lot of movers before, but these guys are the worst. I feel like it's my duty to warn anyone who's thinking about moving to stay away from these clowns. Edens has all the pictures, claim forms, and other documents, some of which I gave them when they delivered my stuff. But they haven't done anything about it. They just told me to deal with Anthem. Well, Anthem just sent me a letter saying they're not gonna do anything either. If this doesn't get resolved, I might have to take legal action.
