I gotta say, Edina Realty is the real deal when it comes to buying a home. My fam and I got our crib through them about 5 years back and the service was top-notch. They got all the bells and whistles, and if you're in MN or WI, they're the big dogs in the game. Ain't no one else even come close. When we're ready to sell, we're def gonna hit them up again. No question about it.

So, I had this experience with Edina Realty when we were selling a joint property. The agent we worked with was a friend of one of the family members, so communication was mainly filtered through this person instead of all of the owners of the property. It was a bit frustrating because we felt like we weren't getting all the information we needed.

To make matters worse, the agent missed important information when texting us. She justified it by saying how busy she was responding to other text messages, phone calls, and doing a showing all at the same time. We understand that agents are busy, but it was still frustrating.

The agent also provided misinformation about an out-of-state owner attending the closing. This made for a messy close as documents apparently could not be electronically signed and were emailed at the last minute. There were several errors in the documents causing a delay in signing due to waiting for revised copies and being mailed overnight. It was a bit of a headache, to say the least.

To top it off, the proceeds were issued as a check instead of being wired as requested. There were no copies of signed closing documents sent with the check, which was a bit concerning. We're still pursuing this issue, but overall, it was not the smoothest experience.

Despite these issues, we do appreciate the effort put in by the agent to sell our property. We just wish that communication was a bit clearer and that there were fewer errors in the process. Overall, we would recommend Edina Realty, but with a few reservations.
