I contacted Entergy in November 24 to get information on getting lines ran to a new residence. An engineer arrived provided the information and I attempted to contact him from a phone number via his business card approximately a week later and did not receive a response. Since then, I have contacted the 1-800 number and spoken with numerous people for updates and keep receiving the same information, someone will be contacting you in 3-6 business days. Now it is March 2025 and still no power. In February 2025 I was informed that a date of March 13, 2025 would be the meter installation, and I called back to ensure the pole needed for the lines would be completed also, and was informed it would all be taken care of. On March 13th, no one showed up, I contacted 1-800 number and was informed the engineers would need to come out before install and they could not provide a date for that.
I had to reach out through personal contacts to find someone who knew someone to get anyone out here. Someone showed up tools some measurements and ensured that the next week, this week, it would be installed. So as of Thursday, March 20, 2025 still no power.
In the guidelines it says to provide a resolution. This can be resolved by someone coming to run some lines to a house I’ve been paying a mortgage on for months already.
Desired outcome: I want some electricity hooked up to my house and to be compensated for having to wait so long to get this done.
