POS System
Our office manager made the mistake of choosing EPOS Now. We were set to make the switch on a scheduled date. Despite our best efforts we could not get it up and running. They would not respond to our request for help. I personally send them e-mail request with no response. In my office managers absence, I called them and was told that they could not speak to me as I was not the contact. I am the one who signed the contract. After 4 days without a POS system we had no choice but abandoning the new system and go back to the old one. A big waste of time and money. Do your self a favor and choose another company for your POS.

Eposnow pos system - failure due to customer tech support issue
On the 28/5/21 purchased POS system, including handheld devices and an additional screen (KDS) purchased on the 24/6/21 for back of house staff to see orders.
7/7/21 - emailed EPOSnow - Rochelle to ask about the POS cash drawer not poping out when a sale was generated.
Kira Pampling took my call to assist my POS hardware issue, cash drawer not poping.
She was helped by her manager, whilst trying to fix the issue remotely they re-booted the entire system without my approval to fix the issue. Unfortunately, she wiped all my TAB customer accounts and system.
The POS system went dark for 4.5 days because they couldn't fix the issue.
During this time, all customers left the resort who owed money on their accounts, additionally, customers were turned away that could not pay by Eftpos machine through the POS system because it was dark.
1K +> per day sales went unfulfilled because I could not bill customers directly or take their money for F&B services.
I called EPOSNOW continually, to try about resolve the POS system outage. The cost of F&B services cost my business in direct sales more then $4, 000 + > because of the POS system being "Dark" due from EPOSnow customer support team member Kira Pampling not being able to fix the issue.
I called EPOPSNOW for tech support without luck to fix the issue with my POS.
I emailed Rochelle on the 12/7/21 looking for assistance, and again on the 21/7/21 & on the 28/7/21 - At this time Rochelle left the business.
I contacted Sho - Customer Care Rep, on the phone & emailed him - Stating my issue with EPOSNow on the 4/8/21.
I sent Sho the last email on the 17/8/21 trying to get a resolution for compensation.
He transferred me back to Kira, ( who made the error to start with) - On the 17/8/21 Kira emailed me. On the 26/8/21 Kira mentioned she has escalated it to her manager.
I keep on emailing the help desk - I had no contact from any one at Eposnow, I sent another email on the 1/9/21 asking for resolution to my issue.
EPOSNOW - Keep billing me for services I didnt want - Voucher and other add on's that I didnt want and kept on billing my credit card.
I received a email from Kira on the 13/9/21 stating about cancelling the POS service query.
15/9/21 Jodie Keating emailed me and raised a complaint file No# [protected]
Again, she had incorrect information about my issue - 4 days downtime due to their (EPOSNOW) error and loss of trading due to their system failure or operator error.
I sent various emails to Jodie with no response from her - Customer service seems to be not a top priority - I sent her 6 emails without any response from her even though she stated she would call me.

handheld devices
We purchased 3 handheld devices back in April 2021 to make our service more efficient during outdoor service. We paid £300 for 2 devices and got one free.
We have been paying £50 per month for licensing and support on them, we have had constant problems since purchasing them.
We had our internet updated in all areas to speed up the devices but this has not worked. Epos now sent our an engineer to check them over and set them up properly, they worked for about 2 hours, they are constantly offline, it is impossible to put an order through, they are beyond slow, they actually slow down our service and are impossible to use.
We have been passed from pillar to post since April, now spending a total £300 on support for them.
We have asked several times for a refund or to even swap our handheld devices for a till so we can use that in a different department.
After speaking to citizens advise epos now have broke there contract by not abiding by the law 'the consumer rights act 2015' where services have not been provided.
We are now seeking legal advise regarding this complaint, i hope we find am alternative resolution rather than having to go to court over it.

ePosnow handheld devices are a joke. There is no way, you can use this handheld device to take an order in a restaurant. We have been using our personal android tablet instead of this handheld device. I contacted ePosnow to cancel 1 of my handheld devices and it was done but ePosnow still has been charging me for that from last 4 months. Very frustrating.

After several times and speaking with legal and citizen advice we have the right to return. I am now also entitled to Interest against the full amount until the payment is received.
The customer service is shocking and have several time reached out and spoke to people on the phone with promises of phone calls back… Also tried to reach out to the person who sold it to us with no reply (to our customer service rep Ryan Aldis)
We have requested to cancel this from the day we received the product with it not being fit for purpose and the request is continually avoided. Customer No [protected]

Since purchase 15/7/2021, this epos system is not suitable for hairdressing and beauty services.
I have emailed and called epos office numerous times and lodged a complaint. I was informed that I would receive a call within 48 hours.
Still waiting for the phone call in regards EPOS outcome.
I am giving EPOS 5 days to response in regards refunding me the whole amount and collect the system. As no one is helpful after getting paid. Really disappointed with the whole service received.

I purchased this system in April 2021 this system has issues every day it wont connect to the printers it doesn't send to the kitchen the bar. They rectify a problem one day and we have a different problem the next. I have written to their Managers who have not responded. My small company signed up with Epos Now 4 or so weeks ago; this being my second account having signed up with EposNow with my other small shop some 3 years ago
Since signing up in mid-May, firstly, we had no on-boarding assistance - we have been almost left on our own to pull over all our data from Shopify; the integration has been absolutely terrible. Now we expected glitches, the sales person said to expect glitches - but, we have had zero assistance to overcome the glitches!
Where is the customer support to assist us to get smoothly set up?
This is the least Epos Now should be offering - to assist with the smooth, streamlined integration and assist us until all glitches are resolved

Stay away from them at all cost! Their sales people are shady not explaining what they're signing you up for and their hardware is from BC.
We got an epos system from them end of March they hardware is already having issues responding and it's super slow. The mobile device is not working at all and they signed us up for a payments integration we never agreed to but according to them it was 'stated in their terms and conditions'. They are now charging us for an integration we do not have, use or want.
We can't wait to get out of the contract and we've only been with them for 1.5 month. That speaks volume for EPOS
Stay away from them they are a terrible company they have no customer support their product is not fit for purpose. You will regret buying this system.
Misold weighing scales

I have recently purchased weighing scales from yourself.
When I had the call about the purchase of the system I have informed that I needed a weighing scales with a barcode printer when I received the weighing scales the scales did not have a barcode printer. I was extremely disappointed. I rang back to the call centre about the weighing scales and I spoke to the Lady which assured me that it was t a problem that they would organise for someone to collect the weighing scales and provide me with a refund I received an email from her about this and a phone call. To my surprise now I have been told that the weighing scales have not been missold and i will not be getting a refund for them I am very disappointed in all of this it is absolutely unaccaptable to be going back on promises. this whole experience has caused me tremendous stress which I don't need as I have already so much on my mind which opening of the shop. I feel really disgusted with the way I have been treated by this company it sure as hell does not feel like you value your customers. I would like for someone to look into this once and for all and for my refund for the weighing scales.

Printer and hand held machine
I bought epos now back on March for new restaurant and paid my bill on time even I was closed during lock down. Since opened I have been trying to buy additional hand held machines to take orders from table. it took me 2 months to be able to buy (I have been advised to buy them my self on amazon because you cant sell them to me, and I need to check with you if they are compatible with your system) After so many calls I managed to buy them Denis morel promised me they will all be all set up and I will be able to use them as soon as I receive them. But unfortunately That wasn't the case, I received them but not be able to use them. Deniz everyday promises me that it was his fault he made a mistake and tomorrow hundred present will be sorted. I have called him 3 days on a row and each time sorry I made mistake tomorrow he said it will be sorted. I said to Denis each time you promise me same things. To his last promise yesterday they were going to be sorted. but not sorted and no answer to my e-mail nor my messages. it is the weekend and I am left with no help. If I will not be able to use your system or get any help. I would like to cancel our contract pls

I purchased the ePOS Now system and had a little difficutly setting it up, but that was me. I used the system only a few times over the past year. I recently received an email telling me that it is the anniversary of my system purchase and I would owe them nore than two thousand dollars per year if I still wanted to use my system. I was never told that there would be any additional charge beyond my original purchase. I've refused to pay and they've threatened me with not being able to use my system.
I'm hoping I can find other businesses they've done this to so, in addition to charging them with fraud, they can be additionaly charged with racketering.

we have been an Epos Now client for a little over 4 months. Honestly, we will NEVER recommend this pos system provider. Their system is super slow and has several bugs that affect accurate reporting and data analysis. We have tried to resolve the issues with them, but to this date, we have opened at least 6 cases with them (that is how they claim they work on the issues) and not a single case has been resolved. Their standard answer to everything is that this is just how it is or simply that the issue is not a high priority. Their technical support staff is many times clueless (with one or two exceptions) and they NEVER get back to you regarding an issue or case you opened. TERRIBLE service and system!

Don't fall for their nice treatment. They are liars, cheaters, and thieves.
They may be very nice to you when you choose what you want. They will guide you, be very polite and cute. Once you paid, forget about everything you experienced before.
You won't get your order, they will keep your money and stop being nice. They will just start ignoring you. That's all they will do to you.
Please, avoid them at all costs!
terrible customer service/support and a ripoff
In August of 2017, we signed up for the software to use at a three-day festival. We requested the Standard package, but were instead charged for the Premium. We immediately tried reaching out to have the mistake corrected, as well as to setup the software in general. After waiting on the phone for more than an hour three days in a row, we resigned ourselves to the fact that the software would not be functional for when we needed it. Less than five business days later, we were finally able to reach someone. We cancelled the service and asked for a refund. We were told it would have to go to a manager because services must typically be cancelled within 24 hours. I am not sure how we would have been able to do that, as it is impossible to get in touch with someone. I equally do not understand why we haven't been issued a refund as we clearly did not even use the product because they never even gave us the time of day to set up the initial account.
Definitely do not recommend this company.
Same scenario with me: They will not return it after only two days.
pos hardware parts not available for repair
Do not buy this system without understanding that the hardware is not available for purchase in the US, (only the U.K. ). If you are out of the very short warranty period and you need to have this POS repaired you cannot buy repair parts in the U.S.
I was told the POS I purchased was a very good computer and basically if I didn't like the software this system would be adapt enough to handle any software. I found out after purchase that this POS only came equipped with 2g 's of ram which was not adequate. I took it to a computer repair store to upgrade the ram and in transport the screen became cracked. When I callled EPOS about getting a replacement (new screen and digitizer), I was told that they aren't in the business of selling computers and no, they won't sell me the part. I'm out of a POS that I paid 2200.00 for. They did offer to sell me a new POS for another $900.00 Do yourself a favor and pass on this company.

I bought epos now system before 6 month for my one of liquor store to try out your product afterward I bought many products from epos now... but whenever we called to customer service of epos now their response regarding product knowledge or others are too low... i have latest issue going on for barcode scanner which I purchased from epos now and as our business is not restaurant it's too difficult without scanner.. as he could not resolve issue over the phone he said that we will swap the product but they said it will take 5 to 7 business day for little scanner... as any other scanners are not compitable with your system I bagging you people to expedite product and i will pay freight charges... but they did not understand customer urgency... I understand companies have own policy's but sometime you have to understand customer urgency... I had some issue with same earlier but before who worked in customer service are excellent people like denial remos their response were quicker... because of one small scanner I m loosing my business to give my customers good service even I have to stay with casier whole day and guide how to use without scanner... so indirectly for 2000 dollar of your system damage.. my cost going to hire and loosing customers too... I will rather to keep your service for next year I will go to integer vendor..
I just want to give my feedback that never wait customer because of your bad products like little scanner and it's just six month old...

Epos Now is not a good company to deal with, I would not recommend them to anyone. Save your precious time and money and avoid. They sold us a product which was faulty and did not work properly and that brought us a lot of problems. We contacted Epos Now support and they tried to assist us and gave some recommendations, but it did not help. They did not offer a refund or a replacement, they just said that they did everything they could to help us and that they were very sorry. I regret I believed this company, they are terrible and should be out of business. The fact that they did nothing to help makes me mad!

Avoid at all costs
These guys seemed nice and friendly when I just signed up. Epos Now gave me a lot of fake promises, scammed me and sold their most expensive package.
After they received the money they simply disappeared. When I needed their help they did not reply, there was no support service, they ignored me! I tried to get a refund but since they did not reply I was not able to do that. There are so many negative reviews about them and I regret I did not read any of those. Avoid this service!

Support service wouldn't let me spend more money on a printer that didn't work
I purchased a pos system approximately 2 months ago. I operate a garden center and explained all of my requirements for what the system needed to do. They sent me a barcode printer that turned the labels black out in the heat making them unreadable for the barcode scanner. When I asked to exchange the printer for a suitable model, I was told no. I offered to pay the difference in price as well as all shipping for the new printer, and they still said no. They were happy to take my money up front, and there's nothing wrong yet with the software portion of the package, but so far I've spent $3000 and 2 months of programming time only to have a POS system that is completely useless for my business. There are plenty of POS system providers out there. Avoid eposnow.com at all costs. They even went as far to suggest that I sell the brand new, never been used printer online to a private party. That was their corporate policy for a return on a customer that put their trust in eposnow: craigslist. I was blown away when I read that email from their Senior Service Manager, who by his own admission "doesn't have a boss, and is the final word on the matter". They wouldn't even give me a number of someone at the corporate office in the UK to escalate the complaint. Wow. I wish someone would have warned me. Such a waste of time and money. I'll be telling all my business owner friends to avoid this company so they can find better service elsewhere.
