Ok well I will tell you you can use this app for free… but it’s very hard to use. I am looking for I camera editor that I can use for free, save to my photos, and is not hard to use. It dose glitch and couldn’t save things in my photos without taking a screenshot and I can’t find out how to use the app I would not call this app bad but not good. You can try downloading this app but don’t get your hopes up

Desktop version great! iPad Pro version is horrible! Not even close to the same! Won’t let me upload audio files under materials, and when I upload it from the music/audio tab, it randomly cuts off. When you use pictures for pop ups in the video you’re editing, it links all the photos as one and won’t let you split it. Downloaded the full version and the same problems were there. Shame the app isn’t the same as the desktop.

So I was having a great time editing my videos until one day I bought pro! It made everything a touch laggier but I didn’t mind with all the features it gave me (60$ btw) but then, when I uploaded a video to my photos, all of the sounds lagged and they wouldn’t sync, when in the video editor, they synced perfectly well.
If anyone sees this, DO NOT BUY PRO! YOU WILL GET SCAMMED AND EVERYTHING WILL CRUMBLE. If anyone from the FilmoraGo team sees this than I would like a refund please.

This app is wonderful and easy to use. Just one issue, with V2 being released, the app now crashes and data is corrupted if you use the cut feature anymore than one time, making it really hard to make videos. Hoping this could get fixed. Edit: Crashing bug was fixed, but for whatever reason, if I use the Import MP3 Feature, it just muted automatically.

Edit 2: The Crashing Issue is back and now it happens if you try to edit any color properties of text

It helps me a lot with cutting videos and it’s pretty easy to use. However I still haven’t figured out how to add videos if I am already in the program. So let’s say I open the program and it’s automatically brings up the add videos option. I add my videos and while I am in there editing I remember that I forgot to add one. From there it doesn’t seem to be possible to add another. Not even using the new project button. I have to log out and come back later to be able to do that. Correct me if I am wrong.

I’m deeply disappointed especially after reading all of these “wonderful “ reviews and seeing the 4.7 stars. While the basic editing is ok but almost every editor has it, what I wanted it for was auto caption so I bought both the upgrade version and extra cost of auto caption and it simply does not work. I tried it and within an hour after I found out it’s simple does not work I asked for a refund since there’s no trial stage. Customer service was useless. Don’t buy. There are other, better ones out there.

I use filmora on my pc so I thought it would be great to use the app for when I’m laying down or just not at my computer. Every-time I select videos to import they play silky smooth and play smooth in my photo album however once I import all the videos go down in quality and like the fps is at 12 or something. I tried playing with settings for higher resolution and raise the fps and nothing. Super disappointed I spent $6 on it I just trusted it was gonna be fine since it works great on pc. My mistake I suppose….

Great app! Just wish there were more song options. I absolutely Love this app it is great for film editing. I use it for making fun videos, such as YouTube videos for my slime channel and many other fun things. I love the music. But I wish they had more options that I liked. With my free time I enjoy editing videos adding cool effects and finding the perfect music for it. It has a ton of cool effects and transitions that you can do on it! I always enjoy editing a video and adding cool effects. I hope you enjoy this app just as much as I do.

I was working on a video that I was going to post to YouTube, I spent about 2 hours on it. Right when I was finished, I exported it. It didn’t export anywhere. So, I try to open the app again, and re-export it, but after about 15 seconds of being back in the app, it lags out, and closes the app. I can’t even re-export my hard work now, and I also wasted two hours of my Saturday. The bright side of this is that the features are really cool. The only problem is that it won’t export, which means it is basically useless in my scenario. R.I.P. my sanity

I have a 256 MB tablet and when I was about to export the video of about an hour, the memory jolted up to more than a terabyte (119991.86MB accordingly) causing my tablet to flicker and shut off frequently due to insufficient memory. Usually it’ll come around 20MB of memory but never this high. I tried lowering the resolution down and I’m still stuck with the issue of Filmora not allowing me to edit or deleting. Saving to the cloud did not work as I hope it would…

Honestly, I don’t know what might’ve caused it. Hoping in the future there will be a way to transfer it to platforms only.

I have Filmora for desktop, but unfortunately my desktop is no longer working and I have no other desktop computers available. I figured I’d purchase FilmoraGo for iPad. However, there is no concise was I can see of importing your own mp3 sound effects to the Effects section. The sound effects provided are far too limited. I tried contacting support to see if maybe I was overlooking something, but I’ve been waiting an hour and my position in the chat queue is moving BACKWARDS. I started at 12, and am now sitting at 16.

Definitely not worth paying for the app if I can’t do something as basic as adding my own sound effects to the Effects tab, especially considering that it’s impossible to initiate chat support. Canceling my subscription.

The app is terrible with a dragon trap but it doesn’t let me drag or dry from YouTube but then I downloaded it to me the dragon drop but I had to click every little button that they were showing me not trust dragon drop that’s that’s not ugly it’s OK unless you are an absolute pro editing this app is very very terrible I am not a pro at editing my dad is but she can’t just do everything for me and I know that so don’t download this app unless you are an absolute pro at Aberdeen or you have the patience of one hour to be staring at a screen that isn’t even moving if you want a good after cheesy to do when you don’t need to pay for it and it doesn’t have watermarks go to the VITA app it’s a better app that I use and you don’t need to be an absolute pro to use it

Many sites claimed it’s the best app for use on iPad, so I thought I’d try it. It does seem to work pretty good but as any editor knows new programs mean learning where the tools are and how they work. The problem with that is there is NO SUPPORT from the company how to learn to use the app. You have to scour youtube and hopefully find someone who answer the question you have for the current version of the app. I don’t understand how anyone thinks that’s a good idea to just forgo support for an app Especially for a company that’s so well known. Trying to reach out to them via the website is useless. They don’t even MENTION the app on there. I’m frustrated because I’ve already sunk time and Money into the app and into the video I’m creating.

The app may very well be the best on iPad but I’ll never know.

I never write reviews, but I was so disheartened by my recent experience with Filmora for iPad. I’ve been using the free trial for the past 2 days to edit a 5 minute video for work. The app often lagged—but I could get past that since the interface was user-friendly and Filmora has a nice auto-save feature. But after finishing my project and exiting the application for 10 minutes, I returned to find a 0mb draft file of my project that wouldn’t open. Perhaps on a PC, I could have recovered an auto save file, but there was no way for me to do this on iPad. Now I have to remake the video with a different app and hope that it allows me to export.
I have uninstalled Filmora which is too bad because I was thinking of subscribing annually. I can see why users would really like this app but in my case it was unreliable.

As an amateur video editor and ‘content creator’ this program has made it really easy to practice and create videos that actually look great! I’m sure the app can do even more than I know about.

The ONLY problem I am having with the app lately is that while editing, when I split a video clip and then press play to continue from that point, instead of playing from that split point it jumps back to the beginning of the video. For short videos it’s not that big of a deal but, when I am working on videos that are longer in length it gets pretty frustrating having to scroll through time and time again to find where I just was. Not sure if it’s a bug from an update but, I only started to have this issue recently.

Other than that, I love the app and will definitely continue to use it. After trying countless video editing programs this is the only one with a user interface that’s easy enough to learn but with enough functionality to produce great videos.

Hi overall I love this app so far. It’s by far the best video editing software I can get for my ipad which is super convenient. I would like to provide some feedback and hopefully see somethings added or fixed in later updates. [KEYFRAMES] I’ll start with the keyframing built into it. First of all I love the fact that it lets you keyframe clips however I find it frustrating that you can’t set keyframes for the text boxes so that you can gradually scale the text over time. Another thing I would like added to filmora is the ability to tap on a track and have a list of all keyframes listed so that you can easily jump to where the keyframe is located in your video. It gets tedious having to scroll back and forth manually trying to get to a specific keyframe. One more thing I found really annoying about keyframes is that if you make a clip longer it will automatically adjust your set keyframes to match the new length of the clip. This is especially frustrating when i’m trying to finetune an edit to the timing of a song, because now I either have to redo all my keyframes or I have to add a new clip to my project. I’d like it if the keyframes stayed at their original timestamped positions rather than automatically adjust themselves to the length of the video clip i’m working on. And a final note relating to keyframing is the ‘snap to center’ feature for video clips or images. There are times where I wanted a really subtle movement but it kept snapping to the center of the screen. I couldn’t find a way to disable it so I had to find a workaround. It’s a great feature but I wish I could turn it off sometimes. Also the ability to zoom in on the video preview window would be fantastic. Right now there’s fullscreen but you can’t move stuff around in there. [ADDED FEATURES/QUALITY OF LIFE] Trust me guys I LOVE your royalty free music options but can you pretty please add some royalty free sound effects as well? Like leaves crunching, explosions, background noises, footsteps, popping, tapping, knocking, things like that? Would be amazing for a lot of people i’m sure. That about sums up my review. Thanks for making one of the best video editing softwares for ipad on the market! It’s been many years since we had anything like this! Please take my recommendations into consideration I hope to see it implemented soon!

This app is limiting because cannot change the audio and mute the audio and it is very limited

Everything’s not transparent and it covers my video and i can put text in and i can’t tell what I’m doing

When I try cutting it deletes the whole clip I don’t know why that happens and it takes so long to export

Extremely difficult to figure out. Audio doesn’t work. Not the same thing it advertised it as. Waste of time.

My four minute video won’t pass the three minute mark because it freezes up. Emailed customer service. No response

Why can’t I just use my PC filmora account and not have to pay again?
Seriously I remember paying at least $125 to get the lifetime license there!

Whenever I edit the thing is fine but when I use this garbage software my ATNT commits die and explodes the footage making it laggy. Do not buy unless you have Xfinity.

I would give this app a 5-star rating if it weren’t for the problem with importing files, every time I try to put a video in, it ends up saying “there seems to be an error importing this file” and it’s annoying. Update your app more, people!

I had an account with Wondershare Filmora9. I don’t wanna have to pay again to edit on my iPad! I want to edit on iPad not my computer, but I’m not willing to pay 59.00$ to get the watermark away You guys need to fix this- I don’t like that only thing, other then that, the app is amazing

This app is basically useless to me without the ability to access my iTunes music. This is a capability again lemon FilmoraGo for iOS as well as PC. Why the capability is not available for iPadOS is beyond me and seriously frustrating. Been using FilmoraGo on the other platforms for a year, now. Considering upgrading to a more serious app if this is not resolved soon.

It would be nice if this app worked the same as for iPhone but it does not. There is no way to access iTunes music-the only music options are somewhat lame. Also I spent way too much time trying to edit video clips...I clicked on each to make active and no little bars appeared to enable editing. Another thing is that any available tutorials do not reflect the iPad interface.
