It has been a month now and I still do not have a phone. I have contacted both Telkom and finrite, I submitted everything they asked for a including the excess fee. Cellphone insurance
It's almost 4 weeks without a phone, I'm depending on my phone to generate an income. I'm tired of calling firnrite for assistance where you wait 5 minutes before you get through and you're promised a turn around time of 24 to 48 hours and nothing happens. I paid + R800 for excess fee and the debit order for telkom (R700) went off this morning 😥. My account is still inactive but i was charged as per normal... if anyone can assist anyhow please step in because I'm so disappointed ref noTC037676, i had to bear network problems but this is too much and unbearable...Telkom can not leave us in the hands of incapable people in such a critical time as this where you need them the most... My contract is almost over, please don't give me a good reason not to renew...
Having said all that Finrite has left a bad taste in my mouth, i submitted everything in time and even paid my Excess fee same day i got the notification hoping to speed things up but you guys are dropping the ball yoh... I regret taking insurance with you guys after this experience i wouldn't advise anyone to do the same

My tc number 037656 I wrote toyou a week ago but no one bothered to come back to me, I thought it was only the junior staff that have no clue on what they are doing but I have realised that everyone at finrite is the same from top to bottot, why dont you just close down if you cant meet your customers needs.. Finrite as a whole is such a huge joke'
Why are your doors open while you dont have stock, why dont you find another supplier or this bussiness is just to take money from people for your own persornal gain,

I was robbed on the 11th of august. I was told to pay excess fee which I did r2000. But a few days down the line I was told by your consultants that you have no stock for iphones and its been more than a month without stock. So I asked why was I made to pay excess fee when you knew that you dont have stock. I then asked when will you get stock and they said they dont know. If finrite doesnt know so why are we paying insuarance and excess fee.
Was also told that there are no iphones the whole of south africa.. But that turned out to be not true because telkom jhb cbd they have iphones.. I also called telkom customer care and they told me that they have iphones so I reaaly dont undestand why its so difficult to replace my iphone because I am and I have been paying insuarance every single month
I have sent a couple of emails to you but no response which means finrite doesnt careabout its customers, I am so disappointed in you guysi regret taking insuarence with you

Which both informed me of operating hours Mon to Friday 8am to 17h00 pm then disconnect the call is eronous and unscrupulous if its a tactic to circumvent dealing with queries.
Not provide the public with correct contact numbers and/or trading hours I find misleading.
Telkom insurance
Can someone please tell me how or who to contact with regards to my 5month old pending insurance claim. I've spent hundreds of rand's on airtime, not to mention the fact that I'm paying for insurance on a device that I don't have. The phone's at Finrite rings for almost an hour and when they finally answer just as I'm about to give my reference number I get disconnected. I've been in store and was told they have a direct person who they deal with at Finrite and should email her all the documents I've sent to them, which I then did.Till today I've heard nothing from them, I have been in the store 5 times only to waste more time as they have still have not responded to the Telkom employee's emails. I was then told a week ago her manager would sort it out and till today no response from him as well. I have sent emails to their (Finrite) complaints department and was asked for a reference number which I sent and that was it no further response. I feel Telkom has to take some responsibility and assist in this matter as you are the one's who recommended them and chose to work with them. Start by googling them and you will see there is nothing good to be said about this company! The service is horrible, they are quick to debit their money but look what happens when you claim. Never in my life have I felt so helpless, hopeless and frustrated.
Nothing more to say but to just echo in a million ways what every other dissatisfied customer has mentioned. It is is utterly frustrating to pay for a service religiously but when it is time to reciprocate, NOTHING, like absolutely no regard for customer service.

As you are aware many people are struggling economically right now due to COVID 19, I'm no exception!
My mobile phone is my communication with my clients. ie. to generate revenue.
At the end of the day, Vodacom Insurance Company / Finrite Administrators have to be professional enough to recognise that they need to be accountable and professional in their course of action. And not renegade on their responsibility to my claim application.
I look forward to your urgent action, on this serious matter.

Cellphone insurance
On the 7th of August I called one of your consultants and he told me thatvi can get a p30 lite for my current cellphone insurance and that I have to just pay 530 for the access and not pay an additional top up fee because it will cover it.I did pay the Access fee of 530 and send in the prove of payment.the consultants name is Nolan.on the 15th I called again and i was told to top up with 500 rand which i didn't appreciate because Nolan had told me that the p30 lite was available.I asked his manager RIAAD to listen to tge recording of the conversation we had and he did admit that he indeed say i will able to get the p30 lite without any top up fee, his manager did not really want to assit me even though he knows that Nolan was wrong and me as a client is not satisfied at all .I would like you to assit me with this matter and give me a call on [protected]

Good day my name Malcolm Hancock I send my cellphone in to telkom in tygervalley to get repaired and they said it must be sent away to the insurance company FINRITE and that I must get in contact with them which I did I have contacted them repeatedly and I got no response because I was told by telkom there is a excess fee that I must pay before FINRITE can proceed which I made payment of R309 after +- 2months wen FINRITE smsed me the amount due and then made the payment and after that I just did not get any response from FINRITE neither email or telephonic almost 5months now I got in contact with them evenchly wen they answered there phone's and all this time nathing was done to my phone that I said to them to please send my cellphone back and I please want my excess refunded back into my account a person gets no feedback from this company FINRITE I spoke to them 2 weeks ago and still waiting for my money and cell phone P.S.
ONCE I get my money and cell phone back I please want this policy cancellation made efectof my cellphone is already insuraned with Outsuranse I hope I'll get an response soon

Replacement of myphone

Please assist me with finrite administrators I am in a traumatic state, I have a cellphone insurance policy with them, my cellphone was stolen on the 01/08/2020 and I lodged a claim with them on 04/08/2020, 48 hrs has passed I called them inquiring about my claim, it is still today that my claim has not been process. I have been paying my premium every month with no fail but now its time to get the services that I am paying for and that is a struggle I am in desperate need of getting another phone as I can not afford to buy another phone. Finrite is disappointing and unprofessional and taking people for a ride. As it is losing a phone is not a nice thing and still I have to be the one who calls and follow up on them about the status of my call its disgusting really.
About my phone at funrite it been 6 months now.
Such a pooor service at funrite it been 6month waiting for my phone the driver called me on the 31 of july I was at work they say they can't find my place I told them they can deliver on monday i'm off they say ok the driver name is vusi I dnt remember his surname on my I called them several time they say we coming till they ignore my call. On tuersday they pick up the phone nd they will deliver it at work on thursday I called them today they say someone is coming till now nd they don't take my calls I want my money now i'm tired of being a stupid plz help
Insurance claim
In March I submitted a claim at Finrite, they confirmed that they received the device only I had to call them in late June. This has been my straggle with these people. On the 9 June 2020 I received an sms that I need to pay 1080.90 because my phone was beyond repairs, in which I payed on the 10 June, I was promised that the payment takes 48 to reflect and I will get a new device 5 days after. When I called 22 June to follow up I was give the same story about the device that I received prior paying.
What shocked me when I called today was that an sms was sent to me informing me of a R40 that is still outstanding. It is now so annoying and I dont know to expect from these people anymore!

Can you please assist me, I am not getting any joy from Finrite. I have been waiting for someone to get back to me for the last 2 weeks, I lost my phone, I claim it and I was told to pay access. I spoke to 9 agent, and Swaniki (promised to follow up and get back to me till today. [protected]. can someone contact me with feedback. Finrite is not responding to my emails. Contact center agents are not helpful, all they do is to apologize for inconvenience that is all.
I was told someone will call me from telkom till today I am waiting. no one wan to be accountable between telkom and finrite. We are caught in between as customer. I went to telkom branch and I was told to call finrite. there is nothing telkom can do but we signed with them.
The last lady I spoke lied to me. I asked her to give me her email address and she said they don't have personal email address, but she said to me she was sending urgent email to supplier. the kind of email address she was describing as internal email does not exist. (I was a customer service agent for 10 years and I know when agent does not want to be bother by clients. But after I learnt putting customer first principles I stopped.
Whoever is HOD of customer she/he sacks at his/her job. all I want is my cellphone. I have never missed a single a single payment and I don't deserve this treatment. I am going to cancel my agreement with you guys after this is resolved. I saw complaints on this platform and I am shocked. I know there is one person in your department who is able to help us. can that person contact me please.
If I don't get feedback before end of the day on Monday (03/07/2020) I am coming to your office on Tuesday (04/07/2020) and I am not going to leave before I get my phone.

Hi I logged a call for a claim on 8 June 2019. I have spoken to various consultants not to mention on certain days I even gave up as there was just no answer. Today after waiting at least 30 mins on the call I have been told that I need to wait 2 days as the phone is beyond economical repair and a new phone would need to be sourced from supplier.

i submitted all the documents to claim for my lost phone Samsung S10 then i paid an excess fee of R1419.90 on the 24/06/2020. i've been phoning to followup but i get different stories everyday. they told me their suppliers dont ve a samsung s10 in stock so i told them to give me other options. they offered phones ranging from R9999-R13999 but i'm paying for an insurance band of R15000 - R20 000. yesterday they phoned me and told me i must pay an extra amount of R580, 10 and they are going to give me a samsung note 10. i paid that amount again which means i've already paid R2000, 00. but still i don't ve a phone . claim number: TC034994

I have a contract with telkom since 2019 and on the 19th of march i took my phone in for repairs as it had a cracked screen. I was told that they would contact my insurance to come and collect the phone and that I would be contacted by finrite going forward with regards to an access fee that would be required. After not hearing anything from finrite on the 6th of June I called them to enquire about my phone. The gentleman who assisted me told me that nothing had been done because I had not paid my access fee, which surprised me because i knew nothing about this. I then paid my required amount and on the 8th of June I was contacted to say they have received the payment and I would have a P20 lite or an alternative phone delivered to me within the next few days.
Today is the 14th of July and I still don't have a phone, may I please get an update as to what is going on as i find this to be totally unacceptable and unprofessional.
