Hello, I submitted an auto refinance application to First Entertainment Credit Union. They requested docs from me and have gone silent. They requested my SSN and paystubs. I've been a member with them for years and have a 740 credit score. They will not tell me the status of my application or any reason for denial. I demand to know the the outcome of my application and I want to know why this credit union isn't being held accountable on their follow through. Awful experience with an awful company.

Reported fraudulent charges, Bank would not help
Reported fraudulent charges, Bank would not help. Bank denied my claim. I never received my debt card but the bank ensured that I did. Opened my account August 28, did not receive my debt card, checked my online bank September 20-ish. Saw my balance was *** when I had *** Saw a transaction for *** and a *** service charge. Called First Ent. The first agent told me to file a dispute. I received an email September 28th saying my claim was denied. I called First Ent. and they told me they could not do anything because their system was super secure and fault free. First Ent. Claim that I activated my card (which I never received in the first place) using my phone number. And all evidence points to me using my card. I kept telling them that I never received my card or withdrew money from an ATM 10 miles from my house. But they do not want to help me resolve this issue.

I started a home refinance and the refinance has not been looked at almost two months later
I started a home refinance and the refinance has not been looked at almost two months later. Unable to contact loan officer or manager. 3/22 a home refinance was filed with first entertainment credit union. They later asked for certain papers and they were all sent in by 4/10. I had not heard any information regarding the refinance so I called my loan officer many times. I was unable to reach the loan officer until 4/21. I asked if he had all the information he needed to move forward with the refinance and he responded by saying, he had not looked at any of our paperwork, he was busy. 5/7 I had not received any news on the refinance so I called and asked to speak with a manager. It was also hard to get into contact with this person. I told him the situation and he said that he would look into it. He emailed me later that day saying he would contact me later. I have not received any call or email since. I called and left a voicemail on 5/11. Today is 5/12 and have not heard back from the loan officer or manager. I called and was on hold for 30 minutes today only to be told that the manager could not be reached, and hopefully the loan officer would call me today.

Fraudulent charges were made on my account
Fraudulent charges were made on my account. After multiple calls to multiple departments, no further information was given or credit returned. On December 21st, two fraudulent charges totaling *** were made on my debit card checking account - #XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. The two charges were at a *** n Go and a Pilot Flying J. Both charges were made while I had the debit card in my possession. The next day I called the main line to report the fraud, and delivered a fraud report form. DocuSign confirmed completion and receipt of that form on 12/22 at 10:26 AM. I waited a week, during which I received no further correspondence. I called the main line back, and was told that the system couldn't find my fraud complaint. I filled out and sent in a second debit fraud form. DocuSign confirmed completion and receipt of this second form on 12/29 at 2:42 PM. I waited another week. Still no correspondence. When I called the main line back, I was given the number of the fraud department. The fraud department told me they could only dispute transactions which I had already done two weeks prior and sent me back to the main line. When I called the main line back, I was told a fraud specialist would contact me the next business day. When the fraud specialist called me back, they told me to contact the fraud department AGAIN. After multiple calls to both the main line and fraud department, I've come no closer to a resolution. The only 'solution' offered was for me to come into a branch office to deal with this in person, which is both unnecessary and dangerous during the Covid pandemic.

Over the weekend, you and I were told to brace for a very difficult set of weeks ahead as the impact of COVID-19 is fully experienced in our communities. Despite these sobering messages, it is important to share that there's a lot of good going on out there too. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our healthcare providers for all they are doing to keep us safe. We at First Entertainment are also here as the financial first responders our entertainment community needs right now. Since this crisis began affecting our community in early March, First Entertainment Credit Union has strived to make a tremendous difference for our members as we all (together) deal with the situation at hand. We have helped over 8,000 members through the elimination of virtually all fees for ATMs and overdrafts, in addition to helping over 3,000 members with emergency loans and mortgage relief. We have also had to make difficult choices during this time that I understand are going to create short term inconveniences for all of us. Our decision to keep our branch lobbies closed indefinitely was not taken lightly, but was made in the abundance of caution for the safety of our members and staff. Our hope is that conditions improve in the near future so we can reopen our branches to you. In the meantime, know that we are still open for business, and I urge you to take advantage of our digital solutions and contact center, where we are ready to address all of your needs. And for those of you needing additional assistance, we invite you to schedule an appointment with our virtual branch, where we can set aside the time to help you. For access to our digital solutions, as well as getting up-to-date on the latest COVID-19 information, please go to FirstEnt.org, or call us at
