HI,
I have received a call few min ago from [protected] around 19:30 06/04/17.
One lady was offering me credit card without asking if it's the right time to talk! What kind of manner is this. Pure classless poor way of communication from FGB.
Even when i said i don't need and you are not supposed to call anyone such late hours, she was repetitively asking if she can call me on Saturday!
When i said no and why she called me on such awkward time..she dropped the connection without any words. Wow..such pathetic mannered personnel are working for FGB!

issuance of liability letter
My Name is Mohamed Zoheb I placed a request for a liability letter on 25th of March 2017.I received a call on 2nd of April 2017 asking me about the reason I wanted to close the loan.After constant follow ups with the call center and the bank branch I am still not able to get the letter.
If I go to the branch they say I need to contact the Call Center and if I call the call center they say its approved and I need to follow up with the branch, I have liabilities with other banks while I requested with all banks I got the letters from the respective banks except for FGB.
My other letters have all expired while waiting for FGB liability letter and I need to request those letters again with all the banks costing me time and money .
I have been running from pillar to post trying to get a liability letter from FGB.I wonder how difficult is it for FGB to issue a letter for my loan, I am sure in today's digital world its not difficult putting on a piece of paper a part of information already existing with the Bank.
It looks like its a tactic to unnecessarily prolong the process.

I was received a call from FGB Customer Service Center, one lady spoke with me and she asked some details I said yes, yes.
Finally she kept the phone, then only I realized that this call is regarding Insurance, then immediately I called FGB customer care and raised a complaint regarding this issue my complaint number is SR9565597.
Today again I received a call from FGB customer care saying that this will not be cancelled and you must continue for ever.
I said it was impossible I don't want this policy any more, with out understanding the conversation I was I accepted the statement which she told me.
please consider my request and do the necessary steps to cancel this insurance policy.

clearance letters
I have settled my credit card via buying out the card and was told that I can receive the clearance letter in a week, it has been more than 10 days now and still no response
When I visited the bank I was advised to call the call center after all that waiting to speak to a customer service agent
When called the call center they said they have sent a follow up email and I should visit the bank
I have called the call center again were I was asked to visit the branch
Conclusion
I'm waisting my time as no proper communication from the bank and this is really frustrating
I am facing similar issues, when did you finally receive the letter? I had placed the request on 29th March and haven't received anything yet. The other bank is waiting for the clearance to release the remaining amount of loan.

He has highlighted Life time free, Air port Lounge access, Free Air port transfer for Jet Airways tickets etc... and signed the forms from me. When I received SMS from your side for FGB - CARD approval, I have called this represetative and informed the card mentioned in the SMS is not same as he has offered. But he has informed this is the procedure but I will get FGB - LIC card.
2 weeks before I have receive credit card from your side. But the card is FGB - DU card instead of FGB - LIC card. I am trying to reach this sales representative for last 2 weeks.But he is not answering/attending my call.
This is not a fare deal from a well reputed bank. You should find a way to stop this type of unfair activities that damages your reputation.

This is very common with FGB as they dont respect anyone for them we [censor]. They think they are GOD and they can do anything or say anything. As Management also does not care about the customer. They only care about the money.

Anyone thinking to take any product be sure you be a loser.
Direct debit facility from fgb, to be taken from my account in adcb, so many times they take the amount twice, and when you asked refund the the second amount, they will issue manager cheuqe after you pay 30 dirham which is not my mistake.
As well if you make the payment earliy, direct debit order will continue ordering even they received their installment.
And charges will be daily basis if there's no enough amount in your account of other bank.
Go to any branch and you will know what kind of worst service, staff in UAE

I took a loan 2 years back for 28k and we started paying the monthly amortization last feb 2015. The amount that we have to pay is aed1472.60 if I am not mistaken but we make sure to pay aed 1, 600 all the time because we want to finish of paying the loan asap. Last year, I had to relocate to australia but this doesn’t stop us from paying the loan as my 3 sisters are all in dubai and never failed to pay the loan on time and with few excess from what we are supposed to pay. Because we are paying a little bit extra, we are expecting to finish paying it off 1-2 months before the end of 2nd year which is feb 2017.
To make the story short, last setember 2016 my sister visited fgb dubai mall branch trying to settle the remaining amount as they initially thought that the balance was only aed 2, 000+ but they spoke with [name removed] would told them that the balance is still about aed4000+. Because they were disappointed, he told her that it is ok not to that month because we always pay extra and just pay aed1000 the month after. End of december 2016, my sisters came back as they wanted to pay the full amount this time as they already know more or less how much they need to pay to settle everything and close the loan because we have the receipts of all the payment that we did and we are monitoring the payment ourselves. This time, she was assisted by a lady (Unfortunately, she was not able to get the name) …the lady told her that the balance is aed 2, 909 so I was shocked as I was expecting it to be less than that, but the lady explained that maybe it is penalties. My sisters were shocked because we were never late in paying the loan. The first thing we do when we get our salaries is to pay the loan... This only means that the advice of mohamed sami telling my sisters that it is ok not to pay on that month was wrong. Because of that wrong information, my sisters had to pay the penalties or whatsoever. The lady told them then to pay aed3000 to make sure it covers the whole amount which is aed2, 909 and asked my sister to come back the next month to get the extra payment (Aed91) that she gave… first week of january 2017 she came back and paid the amount and came back february to double check again if the loan has been closed only to find out that she again has to pay aed37. The person who assisted my sister is again mohamed sami so my sister confronted him about his advice regarding the previous month and that she came back to fgb expecting a change from what she paid for only to find out that she needs to pay more. Mohamed sami then told her that it is not his responsibility to assist my sister because it is not her loan and that my sister’s problem is not his problem.
While this is going on, I keep receiving emails from [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] saying that my loan is overdue when in fact we always pay the loan earlier than the cut-off day and always more than what we are supposed to pay. Because I know that my sisters continuously pay the loan even when I am not there, I always disregard the email but yesterday, I had to call almost midnight all the way from australia to tell them to check their records before sending some stupid emails to customers. This is very disappointing and frustrating situation. First and foremost, please do a proper training to your customer service agents to act properly with customer and to provide the correct information. If we were dishonest, I could have just go away and not pay the loan at all…but we are responsible and honest people and so we don’t deserve to be treated this way. Why would the customer service not able to assist my sister properly? Because it is a third party? What do you expect me to do, call fgb all the way from australia to check on this all the time while I have my sisters constantly paying the loan on time? My sisters has nothing to do with this loan, but they are wasting their time to coming back to fgb dubai mall branch when no one can provide proper and correct information in the first place. Last night (05 march 2017) , I had to call [protected] to clarify everything and I spoke with ahmed (Was unable to get the surname) and he told me that the reason why they send an email is because we have a balance of aed110. I lost my temper when I heard this. For once, can anyone in fgb provide correct information? If a customer visits the branch and asked the remaining balance for the loan so we can settle the payment, can anyone actually provide the exact amount and not let the customer come back 2-3 times only to find out that every time you come back, there is again another payment needed. Can anyone be professional enough to assist customers properly? What a shame for a bank to do this to your customers after taking all those huge interest rates. I would like to get an explanation about this issue.
There is no way I am going to pay aed110. For all the times my sisters came and ask the full balance so they can settle it and then provided wrong information…thinking that the loan is close, only to find out another amount is still pending. Please improve your services. I will expect an explanation and a response from this complaint.

I have been holding a loan and credit card with FGB. My loan was paid as a buy out from Rakbank end of January 2017. My credit card was buy out by rakbank beginning march 2017. I have received my credit card clearance letter after 10 days. I am still waiting for my clearance of loan since over 40 days.
Many complaints were raised, mail sent, customer care called and visited branch many times. I have been told that they will be back to me which never happened.
As long I do not have my clearance letter for my loan I am not able to make a salary transfer to Rakbank from FGB.
I am paying for a loan that I can't use for now from Rakbank which I understand because they need to have a clearance letter.
Please help me how to solve my problem as I can wait any longer.

When I receive the statement on 21st jan to noticed 320.70aed as finance charge which was surprised to see.
Then I contacted rayan in fgb phone banking was told 3.5% was charged on full amount 9413 which is ridiculous way of taking money from customers, instead of charging 3.5% outstanding 3, 413aed which should only 118aed.
Hence, requested to refund: 320 - 118 = 202aed
Why bank is taking money such a way from customers ?
And fgb customer service rayan rejected to register a complain which is again unfair way of customer support.
Even complained to fgb ceo andre, no action taken.
Then addressed to ministry of finance and central bank and waiting for a response.

with reference to the above mentioned subject, I am very sad for the poor action required to be taken from your team, since the confirmation of issuing such policy was cheating by your tele-sale guy where he requested my update my details regarding to the bank policy accordingly to merge proces with NBAD, after couple of weeks I received the Insurance Policy in my email. I was shocked and I visited one of Abu Dhabi Branchs where the Customer Service Advice my to use the call center number to cancel the Insurance policy and also informed me this is not the first time. there are a lot of complaints regarding to same issues. I already made a call to cancel the Insurance earlier of December and I wait for the refund the amount to the card balance to allowed me to make full settlement for the outstanding and close the card since my Visa is canceled and i should leave the country. no action taken yet a lot of calls done with the call center poor feedback and very slowly in taken action.
My last call was afternoon after I visited Al Ain Branch to close the card but I still had a problem with the outstanding. ... accordingly please take the necessary action from you side to close the case and refund the amount along with interest and charges if any in priority & urgent basis and take the required exception if required.
or unfortunately I will visit Center Bank and make a complaint since i should leave the country by next Monday & I need to clear every things.

Last month that was Jan 2017 there is an agent who called to offer the insurance she explained the coverage but i stopped her and asked if this is free and do I have to pay for it? She replied yes you will not pay monthly furthermore she keep on talking. After the call i recieved a message that she is applying me in this #### insurance. When i recieved my statement i was deducted of 750aed. I call your costumer service then created me a ticket and said a week after someone from the the insurance department will call me. A days after i spoke to this lady agent explaining again the coverage and I stopping her because im not interested and all I want is my 750aed refund. She refused to give my refund back because she said i agree and I didnt say yes and never confirmed it. I spoked with her manager and insisting that i confirmed it thru our recorded conversation in tagalog and how she can understand our conversation with this kabayan agent in tagalog? Btw the manager is not Filipino.. I asked this manager to give there location to personally settle this issue and she refused again. I can only call there callcenter thats all. I want to proved that I never said yes to your agent. I want to escalate this issue to your branch and the authority if you cant solve my issue.

Yes its really TRUE.after explaining that Freedom 365 insurances after 3days you will recieve credit card statement 750dhs deduction on your credit card even you did not agree or confirm for that insurance issue.why the company of FGB bank management tolerate this kind of agent doing just to get client by means of cheating.it gives a bad image for FGB bank the way their agent doing it except they allow it with consent of the management.The bad thing here you want to ask to cancel this and a refund for that amount.They will not give back to you, ASHAME to yourself what have you done to your client it will come back to you..

Last Thursday 23-02-2017 received a call from women [protected]. Saying some bull stories if job loss ull get aed 5000 every month, she was explaining meantime only without notice she confirmed. I told her to send details ill go though and come back. She activated without noitce and deducted aed 1700 from my card.
Now who is responsible for this fraudulent women caller. I was trying to call her many times, she says ill file a call back option. This bull #### havent call till now.
Amount was deducted with out sms alert or any further notice. How can we small salary holders comes to know. who uses this.
These types of people might deduct amount without any notice.
So kindly consider it as priority and revert back to me.

I have been dealing with banks my entire life my worst experience and biggest regret is FGB, I have been struggling for few months now.
Last month I had a lady who literally insulted me by saying "' you will regret and dont act like a fool" kindly check your recordings.
Im suffering for late payment charges as I changed my job and now getting my salary on the 6th only I raised many requested and complains just asking to change the date with all the documents ready, I had people calling me and threatening me, some using abusing languages, when you try to request something they answer by go pay your late charges and minimum dues then we will see, I trusted you guys at first then now I regret so much
very insulting, disrespectful and careless unlike NBD and all other banks
AGAIN I NEED THE PAYMENT DATE TO BE CHANGED so I can pay regularly, everymonth you take the late charges and no one is helping
