I tried to immediately cancel my order for the FIXD car code reader and was emailed back that it had already shipped out!
I tried to immediately cancel my order for the FIXD car code reader and was emailed back that it had already shipped out! This seemed like a lie. Also, I was offered a discounted price if I would just keep it. I thought this Discount offer was a shady business practice and still wanted to cancel my order so they gave me the link to print a return label. It took at least a week to arrive, slapped the return label on it unopened and sent it back the next day. I had a PayPal dispute opened on this company for the shipping issue and let it automatically close on Dec 25 because FIXD had assured me my refund was pending. Not hearing anything after I knew the product had arrived back to them, I emailed through PayPal asking, "where's my refund?" FIXD replied by email saying they refunded my full purchase price ($88.00) through PayPal on December 23 and it would be 3-5 business days to show up on my account. It's now Jan 27, 2020, and I still have no refund. Also, PayPal has no record of the refund (Pending or otherwise) and because I allowed my dispute to automatically close, PayPal says I could not reopen this case again either. The FIXD company representatives assure me that it has been refunded and to check with my bank. My bank advised me to report this to their fraud department which I have done. I'm not sure if FIXD or PayPal has my refund, but I feel I must report this somehow! FIXD doesn't seem honest and I wouldn't buy from them again. I can't review their product, just their business practices.
Terrible product and even worse customer service
Terrible product and even worse customer service. Wish I could actually leave zero stars.
I purchased this item because my check engine is on. I went thru all the steps and ultimately after FIXD scanned the results were "no problems found" . Obviously there is a problem since the check engine light is on so I don't believe this product is working. I tried emailing them and I tried using instant message on their post on Facebook. I gave them all the details they asked including the make the model and year of the vehicle and sent them several pictures of the dashboard showing the check engine light on and even sent them a copy of my owner's manual page. Their emails responses were nothing more than links that I should click on for help. Each time I sent an email a different person responded so there was nobody really helping. When I tried instant messaging them on Facebook they asked similar questions I gave them all the same information and ultimately no help whatsoever. In fact I think they blocked me from being able to respond to the any further posts because when I try to send a response or ask for an update I cannot do it and I receive a message that says I'm blocked. Unbelievably poor service on a product like this where all they need to do is offer to send me another one admit it's defective or perhaps offer me a refund. But no instead they just send me links and then ultimately lock me out from even communicating with them. I sure wish I could have a face to face with the owner of the company and let them know my thoughts and share my experiencesvthat I've had.
I ordered 3 items at a discount price of 39.33 each
I ordered 3 items at a discount price of 39.33 each. The regular price is 59.99 each. When my order was confirmed, it showed only two items for 44.25 each. Within 10 minutes of my confirmation, I emailed their support department and told them that I thought I ordered 3 but my confirmation showed only 2, and "How can I correct my order and still get the discounted price?". A couple hours later, Brian responded asking me to confirm that I wanted one more item at 59.00. I immediately responded that I wanted three and if I can't get the third item at the advertised price, I wanted to cancel the order. I knew it was a scam as soon as he quoted the item at 59.00. He replied with the explanation that on the app is the discounted price, but on the website it is the regular price... as if I was lying for WHATEVER reason, and then told me that he couldn't cancel my order before it was shipped. He then offered a 15% discount if I keep the order, but also said he'd be happy to send me a return label if that was what I wanted. I thought 'if he can give me a discount on a closed transaction, why couldn't/wouldn't he just adjust the price of a third item with the price AS ADVERTISED?'. I replied with the explanation that if I didn't get 3, a family member would be left out, and I suspected it was a scam. Think about it; you click on the 'quantity 3' button and it is set up to register 'quantity 2'... most people wouldn't notice the discrepancy and wouldn't find out until they received the product. By then it's too late to dispute it so not only are you paying more per item (44.25 each, as opposed to 39.33), but if you choose to get the quantity you wanted, you pay regular price (59.00) for the 3rd one. I would have no motive to lie about what my intentions were, so the only conclusion I could deduce is that they are counting on the customer not realizing what actually happened. He replied that he would send me a return label and explained how to go through the procedure of requesting it (online). Attached to his email was a link for the request and a link to complete a survey. I replied that some people would think that this conversation was, pretty much, evidence of their scam and I would certainly get the word out. I also told him I would definitely complete the survey. So I clicked on the link for the survey and, sure enough, it told me "You have already completed this survey"... just more scam. I have not requested a return label yet, but if it goes sour, you can bet you'll hear from me again.
FRAUD ALERT!
FRAUD ALERT! A month ago I purchased a FIXD ODB2 scanner on FIXD web site. The payment was made via PayPal; my browser was redirected to PayPal to confirm the purchase and payment before order is completed on FIXD web site. This first purchase was okay, After the payment and order for the scanner was submitted, FIXD web site displayed a 25% promo sales on their premium subscription service. They displayed a link that supposedly would let me claim or reserve the promo discount. There is also countdown timer displayed showing about 30 minutes left until the promo ends. (yup tricky upsell trick). I thought why not go claim or reserve the discount now, put the subscription purchase in my shopping cart first, go read more about the features of "premium subscription" and then decide if I want buy it. The link did NOT say "purchase", "buy", or "submit payment". It seems safe enough to click. So I clicked on the promo's claim / reserve discount link. However, FIXD immediately charged me $50+ to my PayPal account WITHOUT redirecting me to PayPal web site to confirm and submit additional payment. They simply charged my PayPal account without my consent! After I spent some time looking at my PayPal account trying to figure out what happened, it turned out that FIXD has sneakily and fraudulently setup my first PayPal payment for the scanner as "automatic payment" in my PayPal account instead of the usual one-time payment you would expect for merchandise purchase. And they sneakily and fraudulent charged my PayPal account when I click on a claim / reserve discount link. The link did not say "purchase", "buy" or "submit payment". Within an hour of this fraudulent charge by FIXD, I went to their web site to see how to get refund. Their FAQ say refund requests for subscription should be submitted on the following page: https://get.fixdapp.com/resources/cancel-premium So I submitted a refund request after the fraudulent charge. Two weeks later, I didn't hear from them so I submitted another request on the same page. Another week later, I submitted a third refund request on the web page. Still no response from FIXD. So after a month, I emailed my refund request directly to their customer support instead of submitting more refund requests on that useless web page. The next day I finally received an email from FIXD and they said in the email that they have CANCELLED my subscription but they CANNOT ISSUE REFUND to me due to their "two week refund policy". I went back to read the order confirmation email from a month ago and there is NO mention of any "two week refund policy". I also checked the another email containing the activation code of premium subscription and it says at the button of the email "Subscription cost billed annually, cancel anytime". Apparently FIXD thinks "cancel anytime" does not include any refund (even if it's prorated). FIXD support has not responded to my additional inquiries so I think it's hopeless to deal with them. In summary, here are the sneaky and fraudulent things FIXD have done to me: 1) FIXD setup my PayPal payment as an "automatic payment" for merchandise purchase. Merchandise purchase should always be one-time payment that always require customer confirmation on PayPal web site. My payment confirmation was only for the purchase of scanner and not any subscription nor recurring future payments. 2) FIXD displayed a promo "claim / reserve discount" link which, when I clicked, immediately and fraudulently charged my PayPal account via the sneaky "automatic payment" they setup minutes earlier when I submitted payment for the purchase or scanner. 3) Not stating "two week refund policy" in either order confirmation email nor the subscription activation code email. That "Subscription cost billed annually, cancel anytime" statement in the activation code email implies refund (even if it's prorated) can be requested from FIXD. Who would cancel a prepaid annual subscription and lose access premium features if refund is not possible ? 4) After ignoring my refund requests for FOUR weeks, FIXD finally responded to my email and did the unthinkable: A) Cancelled my premium subscription. B) Refused to issue refund to me by claiming some obscure "two week refund policy" which is not found in order confirmation email I received. After my negative experience dealing with FIXD, I started paying more attention to other negative reviews on various web sites. And I found there are tons of "fraud alert" negative reviews of FIXD. I wish I had read those reviews first.
I have also been charged 100 dollars for no reason. All I want was the sensor...please help

Requesting a return Label to send back merchandise to Fixd Automotive My complaint is: I ordered #GO-XXXXXXX-FIXD, Buy two Vizr Heads Up and get one free plus one Fixd device deal for $114.97. I ordered it on 4/18 and received it on 4/24. The day we received it, my husband tried using it on our car. He wasn't satisfied with the Vizr Heads Up device or the Hub app that was recommended to use with it. The Fixd device was okay, but to get all the information about our car, we had to have a subscription for that, which was another $$69.99 a year, so my husband said it's not worth all that and we wanted to return the whole deal for a refund. I sent a email to Fixd the same day I received the order 4/24 requesting a return Label, all I got back was a email saying they received my request. I sent another email on 4/28 and 4/30, same response. I would like for them to let me know when I can receive a return Label, so I can get my refund of $114.97 within the 30day return policy. Is there any way I can speak to a person about my complaint.

On 9/20 I purchased a FIXD unit and I still haven't received
On 9/20 I purchased a FIXD unit and I still haven't received. I ordered the FIXD unit on 9/20 (order #FIXDXXXXXX) and I was given a tracking info on 9/21 and I tracked it and it went to UPS who then gave it to USPS and it was never delivered and UPS blamed USPS and told me to contact FIXD so they can contact USPS. I reached out to USPS and got no answer. I reached out to FIXD on 10/14 asking for assistance to getting me the item I purchased. On 10/16 I got a shipment update from FIXD and the same process from the same order happened UPS said they gave it to USPS but no delivery. I reached out to FIXD again on 11/16 asking for my item and got notification that my order was shipped on 11/23 and when I checked tracking it mentioned it would be delivered 11/27. I have contacted UPS and USPS and there is no update on my package. I am not sure why FIXD continues to use the same process when it doesn't seem to be working. Also, others need to be warned that this seems to be a nice product but you we may never know for sure because FIXD doesn't seem concerned with it getting delivered.

I ordered the sensor November 27 have not recieved but have been charged 92.07 cad for a subscription i never authorized On November 27th
I ordered the sensor November 27 have not recieved but have been charged 92.07 cad for a subscription i never authorized On November 27th, i ordered the sensor. I then recieved an email about subscription which said "action required " i was to follow a link and enter a code. I NEVER DID THIS. After that email many more emails from FIXD was found in my inbox which i ignored since i had not yet received the device. On December 11 my account was charged 92.07 for a subscription that i didnt authorize. I tried to cancel right away on the 12th od December and follwed the link to do so. The link took me to a page wherr i was instructed to put in my activation code which would be found in the subscription email. I did this but was very uneasy about it since i no longer trusted this company. My status then showed that it was canceled but with the date December 10 which is a year from now. I've read many complaints about people not getting their money back due to a 2 week window. I am well within that frame and want a full refund. The device has yet arrived and im no longer interested in it. This is a horrible practice and im very upset

On December 27th I purchased one fixd OBDII dongle
On December 27th I purchased one fixd OBDII dongle. During my purchase process I repeatedly denied the subscription service offered by fixd even at several attempts for fixd to reduce the price of the subscription service. I utilized PayPal for my payment option, and upon completing my payment at 9:52am I noticed that fixd charged me for the one dongle I purchased, and one fraudulent charge $35 for the subscription service that never approved. I immediately researched fixd's contact nber, of which was not immediately accessible. I then contacted paypal at 9:58am, and they provided me the number to fixd of ***. At 10:04am I contacted fixd and spoke to ***, and requested that my entire order br canceled and my money refunded. I informed her I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund, because of inappropriate business practices, inappropriate marketing and sales practices, and fraudulent/unauthorized charges. I was told that I could just have a ticket put in. And they would get back to me via email. However later that day at 1:52pm I received an email stating my ordered number was (#FIXD797514) along with a tracking number. I also received an email regarding the subscription, and I never opened .I do need the device, however I simply want my refund as soon as possible, as this should have never happened. I hope the company improves it's point of sales process to prevent authorized charges and limits the odds that customers wouldn't even inadvertently accept something they don't want due to the marketing and sales pages. Furthermore I feel fixd's attitude towards getting my refund and order cancelation was not taken seriously, and find it odd the the customer service rep can't help customers with refunds and cancelations. Also because they would let the product to be shipped with plenty of lead time, and lose money on shipping if and when my money is refunded.

Purchased unit plus warranty - then another plus warranty - company loses information, will not refund for 2nd unit or both warranties!
Purchased unit plus warranty - then another plus warranty - company loses information, will not refund for 2nd unit or both warranties! I purchased the FIXD unit for my car along with a 'lifetime warranty' for $19.95+$4.99. I received an order confirmation in my email. Before receiving the unit, FIXD sent me another email, "Last chance to purchase a second unit for 60% off, ($19.95)!" I did so with every confidence that it would work for my two identical vehicles. (The warranty button was automatically checked for an additional $4.99.) I never received an order confirmation for the second order. About 10 days later, I received the first unit, plugged it in, and it does not work with Bluetooth. The company suggested that I use 'legacy Bluetooth.' It connected... ONCE! It did NOT 'sense' an obvious engine problem I was having, then it disconnected and it never connected again! This all happened within 1 day of receiving the first unit. I requested a refund. Once the second unit arrived, I sent email to the company requesting a refund. They directed me to a site that has a registration. To use the refund request site, you must have the order ID. Since I never received an email for the 2nd order, I couldn't fill it in and the company's response was, "We only have ONE order for your email address!" I did find the order number on the 2nd package and asked them (in email) to find out what email address was associated with the 2nd order ID. They replied with my email address! (Hmmm...) So, I went on their site and successfully printed out RMA return labels (USPS) to return BOTH units for a full refund of the product and warranty amounts. I received a refund for exactly $19.95. No second unit; no warranty refund. How does a company justify keeping the warranty fee for a product that is never kept or used? I don't care if the warranty states 'non-refundable' - it is fraudulent to keep money that receives no value in purchase! PERIOD! I want the company to do the right thing and refund $19.95 for the 2nd unit, and $9.98 for both, useless warranties. I have emailed them, but they don't want to budge from their position. I used PayPal, so I will also be pursuing a refund through their dispute system as well. I believe that this company is actually doing fraudulent business. The unit costs maybe $4.00 to produce, they sell it for $20, then get the consumer to purchase a 2nd 'discounted' unit which their system 'forgets,' then they keep $19.95, and $9.98 from the transaction! That's a VERY PROFITABLE SCHEME! The company makes $30.00 for NOTHING! So,(and therefore), depending upon the outcome here, I may invite the FBI to do a little bit of fraud investigating there in Atlanta Georgia should all attempts fail at receiving a full refund for the 2nd order and the warranty fees.
