I had a connecting flight from Mashhad to Moscow on September 17
I encountered a problem on my recent flight and would like to report it
I had a hand luggage and a laptop bag with me at Mashhad airport, according to the airline law, and everything was fine
After I went through the gate and went through all the steps and when i wanted to get on a bus, the man who said he was in charge there told me that you can't take these two with you, just choose one of them and take it with you.when I told him that it was written on the Fly Dubai website that you can take the laptop with the laptop bag into the cabin, he got very angry and told me very rudely that I am the in charge here and you have to do what i say , the website is not important i worked here for several years and i know the rules so Do what I say now, either you do what I said or I won't let you board the plane, while my hand luggage had an approved label, as well as my laptop bag,
in the end I forced to do it in a very disrespectful way.
I dropped my things on the floor at the airport and because I had secured my laptop in my bag, I had to take only a few things from my luggage and put them in my laptop bag so I wouldn't miss the flight as he said.
So the weight of my laptop bag became about 3-4 kg
He introduced himself to me as "ASADI".
I could have gone to Moscow with a direct non-stop flight of Mahan Airlines and the cost was less than half of this ticket, but I chose Fly Dubai to have a more comfortable flight, but now I regret it very much because I have more than I paid twice as much and was treated very disrespectfully.

Payment Not Received for faulty transaction
I made a transaction back in month of May2022 with flydubai. Due to some technical glitch the transaction failed as per the website but the money was deducted from my account. Since then i have been following up with the customer care or lets talk id as they say to check with but nothing happens. The amount is not small and its been 4 months but they haven't returned the money yet. All the formalities of filling form and checking with bank is done but the their is no response from flydubai, instead they just keep asking to wait and wait.
This is such a horrible experience where there is no one to get back and return the money of a customer.

Flight delayed cancelling without previous informing to customer
Flight fz158 that was supposed to set off at 11.20 am from beirut to dubai on sep 15th was delayedcancelled without prerecorded notification,
I was compelled to stay at hotel on my own expense which costed me 70 dollars for room and 50 dollars for taxis. When I complained to fly dubai office at beirut airport, the employees were so rude and disrespectful, no one answer any question.
Finally, I could find another flight at same company on 11 pm via traveling agency in oman that rebooked me a ticket.
I arrived muscat by sep16th morning, that made me troubles at work appointments due to my job as a doctor.
Delayed flight
Assalamu Alaikum Sir,
We had a flight from Karachi(khi) to Madinah via Dubai from Fly Dubai Airline. we had transit of 2 hrs. at Dubai then to Madinah. Unfortunately, our flight flew from karachi(khi) 3hrs. late it was obvious to lose connection from Dubai. After reaching at connection desk in Dubai they gave us flight for next day at 22.20hrs. the date we reached at Dubai was 20 august 2022 and time was nearly 17:00 hrs. it was more than 29 hrs. at Air port to be spend by us. we request for hotel but they did not give us hotel just 2 meals then we request for 1 meal then they gave us another meal.
My father is heart patient and have operated leg also over 60 years of age. it was too cold at Airport we did not have any warm clothes with us all cloths were gone in luggage. My father got two last fingers of his right-hand freeze. we had hotel booking for that day in Madinah the night we spend at Airport. i was accompanied with my parents and brother.
We can not go back and correct the situation but we do deserve compensation from Airline. we need your help to get compensation from airline.

Not allowed to check-in
I am Helmenglida Lwamagogo, I was denied for check-in my flight (Flydubai, Ref# R7T6WD) from Dar Es Salaam to Dubai on 05th Sep 2022 at 9.55am
I arrived at the airport 4 hours before flight and I was the first to check-in, unfortunately I didn't have return ticket back to Tanzania. So, the check-in staff put me aside. I explained to them very well that the return ticket I was about to book a week or 2 weeks after as I was checking for best airline rates for return, and that am going for vacation for 2 months, still I do have time to book return flight. But they completely denied my case and ignored me.
So, I tried to follow-up my travel agent and I managed to get the return ticket, at this it was around 45 to 50 mins before flight. Very sadly at this time they were closing the counter and they told me I have to re-book my flight for evening flight. I tried my best to explain to them and beg them to let me check-in, but they refused to let me in. Annoyingly, I lost the ticket which costed me AED 1,379.42 (Equiv to USD 368.12) and I had to rebook again
So, I decided to incur another cost of AED 1,334.55 (Equiv to USD 356)
Desired outcome: I want a full refund for my ticket total AED 1,379.42 (Equiv to USD 368.12)
Not allowed to use tickets paid for
I had to buy another ticket for my family from Bucharest to Dubai and in dubai i can't use the return ticket. they are telling me to buy another ticket to fly back to Bucharest. It sounds unbelievable but its for real.
The most horrible airline i ever came to contact with, hope i never did and advise others not to take the risk booking with flydubai. This airline just stole my $1609.90. Am writing with my tickets for tomorrow paid for that flydubai is not allowing me to use. They are asking me to buy another ticket more expensive than the one am having which i have to use tomorrow. they are saying some one call them and ask that the date should be changed and flydubai changed my booking from a call from someone who is not traveling with me and my family. They have sent my to the end of Dubai really meaning End of dubai where the road came to and end and still no one to answer. you can spend 1 hour on phone they will not give you any information. they will tell you to write an email when its well known that they are going to respond to your mail only after your departure date is pass. they tell you they'll be calling you back and that will never happen. you can't get back you money and you can't use the ticket you've paid for.
After being on the phone with one of their people from their customers service i told him that on the flydubai link (manage your booking) i can see that my ticket is active why is it that i can't use it and must buy a new ticket. A few minutes latter he blocked it .after that when i click on the link the message i get is, booking not found, luckily for me to prove it, I had made a photo of all the information.
It's really not worth taking the risk with flydubai
As of what i was told at one of their offices that people come there every day with ticket problems and there is no one at that office to help.
Why do the send people to an office when they know very well you will not get any help from there? the give a careless of people who use their airline. you will never get any solutions to any problem, the one and only thing they will tell you is to buy another ticket. they know you are going out of dubai and will not have time calling and will not reply to your mail.
If you are really lucky might you get a voucher to use in a year's time.

I have a few complaints I would like to share from my recent experience with your airline:
I have booked a ticket from an airline from Muscat to Batumi round ticket which you will be able to find the details from my attachment and my booking reference.
1. My original flight from Dubai to Muscat was canceled, and I was forced to have 11 hours to transit which, if I had known from the start, I would have picked another option to fly. This caused me to rent a room outside the airport to sleep before my morning flight.
2. My flight from Batumi to Dubai was delayed 4 hours, and no compensation or apologies was offered.
3. At 5 am, 2 hours before my flight from Dubai to Muscat, I received a message that the flight would have a further delay from 7 am till 14:45. No apparent reason why, although there were no more sandstorms, and all flights were operating just fine. Someone decided this flight could delay, and other fights could go on. This delay caused me to miss another flight from Muscat to Salalah scheduled at 11:40 am with Salam Air which was not refundable.
4. At the airport, I was trying to find ways to leave before 14:45, so I could meet my commitment in Salalah before 17:00. I checked if I could be offloaded from the flight so I could take my bags and leave on a flight with Oman air at 11:00 am. At first, they told me I could, and I went and purchased the flight from Oman air and another flight from Oman air from Muscat to Salalah at 16:30. I asked them to offload me and directed me to the arrival area to collect my bag. I went there and discovered that it was impossible because I could only collect my bag after the flight takeoff after 14:45. This means that both flights I purchased are now useless. I spoke to the people at the airport, and they only advised me to wait for the flight; otherwise, I would lose my bag.
5. I waited for my flight at 14:45. I have been in transit at the airport for 19 hours with no apparent reasons and no clarification. They started to board people at the gate at 14:20. Here, I realize another delay is happening. The flight only took off at 15:35, which again caused me to miss my flight from Muscat to Salalah at 16:30.

Desired outcome: this flight caused me so much money for a hotel, transportation, and missed flights. I demand a full refund for my flight and compensation for all the money I lost because of the delay and unprofessional treatment of the airline.

I am writing to complain about my recent journey with your airline. From start to finish, it was one of the worst experiences in my many many years of flying and something that has put me off travelling with Fly Dubai and even Emirates again (despite being a long standing customer and frequent flyer member)
I was travelling between Entebbe and Dhaka on July 1st ( and 2nd) on flights FZ 616 to Dubai and FZ 583 to Dhaka
In Dubai, I had a long layover of 12 hours. I reported at the desk in transit to be told there was no facility available for such a long layover. Most airlines give some kind of complementary hotel or lounge etc… I have a problem with my knee and was in some pain. I presented myself to your staff and asked for some help – only to be told that my only option was to use the lounge for 50 USD at my own cost but was then told in quite a rude manner that the lounge is not meant for sleeping however and there is a 2 hour limit to its use. The lounge by the way was also totally packed as the airport at terminal 2 seems simply too small for the amount of customers. So, I had to spend the time trying to find somewhere to sit for 12 hours in the terminal. This proved impossible as it was so crowded. I couldn’t find anywhere to rest or recharge my phone or laptop.
I was told that it was not your airline policy to provide a room during long layovers. Then I met some other travellers also going to Dhaka on a layover from Damman. Their layover was not as long as mine, yet they had been granted a hotel to rest and shower etc… I felt this was totally unacceptable then as it obviously is not your policy. Why were they granted this and I was not. Are you practising discriminatory practices or is it all dependent on your staff present at the time and perhaps their moods. Whatever, it is very odd and feels unprofessional in the extreme.
The terminal itself was totally full of passengers. There was nowhere to sit and long queues at all outlets for food. It was simply a disaster. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, it was time to board. The plane was then delayed for more than an hour with no explanation or apology. Passengers were herded to their seats with absolutely no one wearing masks and no airline cabin staff checking on this. It felt like a perfect ground for COVID 19 transmission. Absolutely no attention paid to this at all. It was shocking. Passengers kept on the mobile phones as we took off. They obviously hadn’t understood the announcement but again were not checked. There was also no in flight entertainment at all, which further added to the shabby service.
Overall this was a truly awful experience from start to finish and one I will do my utmost never to repeat. Your customer service was quite appalling.

Flight delayed without hotel compensation
Flight FZ17 is delayed from 3.45 pm 14 Aug. 2022 to doha. Still my family suffering at dxb airport since more than 15 hours and no flight confirmation given. They must be given hotel for night. But flydubai cheated n kept all passengers suffering and kept shifting from plane to terminal. I need full compensation or I will go hire international firm to claim my rights.

I have had a tough and horrible experience on my trip recently flying back from Erbil to my destination to Muscat transiting in Dubai.
On 31st of July I arrived Erbil airport 3 hours to complete check in and boarding, coming from different city, when I was Shockley surprised that my trip from Dubai to Muscat has been cancelled without any prior notice from the agency/company despite providing them with all my details. The airport authority then refused to complete check in to Dubai claiming I need a visa to Dubai or book for next available flight from Dubai to Muscat, in which the transit was extended for 18 hr in Dubai Int airport. I left with no choice rather accepting to purchase a new ticket or will lose the flight from Erbil to Dubai. Disappointingly, the cost of the ticket was OMR 75, however the staff has wrongly but my name on the ticked and they then asked me further $ 100 to correct the name despite their fault and put the cost on me without any ownership responsibility and squeezed me to either agree or I cant continue my flights.
It was very taught and unprofessional service I encountered which left me severely exhausted. I had terribly spent 18 hr in the transit areas, and Emirate desktop refused to provide me an airport hotel to stress out of some exhaustion.
I finally arrived Oman very poorly both mentally and physically and sadly missed my first day working after holiday as arrived unexpectedly late and my manger has to deduct this from my wages.
I have attached all tickets/booking and receipt for your information.
I understand that Emirate airway is one of the best air flight service in the world, I am therefore putting my case into your hands and hoping that you will kindly look into it seriously and processing my complaint as appropriate.
Please note, I tried to lodge a complaint a few occasions on Emirate airline, complaints section but it did not accept the ticket no and considered 'INVALID'

Flight delay from Bahrain to Dubai
I have booked flight tickets to Dubai and then to Tbilisi along with my two friends for a nice holiday from 5th August 2022. But the flight from Bahrain to Dubai was delayed by 3 hours plus then we missed the connection flight from Dubai to Tbilisi. Fly Dubai has given us the next available flight to Tbilisi. As per our plan we could have reached Tbilisi by 4.45 am early morning and we have booked the rental car from 6 am on wards. But due to delay in departure we could reach by 11.45 am only. 7 plus hours total delay. The rented car booking got cancelled and our entire plan got affected badly. Even there was no water in the Dubai Airport in rest rooms. It was totally a disaster. I am a frequent traveler and this was the worst experience I ever had. How we can trust Fly Dubai again in crucial travels? What is the reason for the delay in flights? What is the compensation you can provide to us since you collapsed the entire day of our most planned most awaited trip?
Flight Experience | threat of a new pandemic
I would like to report the worst experience ever. It seem like Flydubai is supporting spread of diseases.
I had a flight from Baku to Dubai on 13 July 2022; Seat 23C; Flight FZ708.
The paper bag (for vomit) placed in back pocket of the seats had spit n puke in it. It was such a disgusting experience and when reported to flight attendant they said we will raise a complain on the cleaning staff.
This is unacceptable especially given the pandemic, I have no clue what was in that packet for all that matters it could be an infectious disease. I will be reporting this on DHA as well as health risk.
Flight Cancelation Without Any Reason
Flydubai planning to cancel the flight to Sri Lanka, however it is still unclear because to be on the safe side the send e-mail about upcoming cancellation but their agents still can’t confirm. The airline refusing to refund my money and wants to issue yet another voucher to basically force me to purchase another expensive ticket from them.
My messages and calls are ignored or met with continuous promises. They promise one thing on the phone, and then again message about the voucher.
Desired outcome: I want full refund of my ticket in USD, as I paid. I don’t want voucher or dirhams. I paid and want my money back. It shouldn’t be hard for the airline who failed to fly, to refund customer’s money.

I would like to complain about the attitude of a cabin crew and her certainty of impunity.
I booked a ticket on 12.06.2022 from Flydubai Dubai to Tashkent flight and got a sit 14D. When I entered the airplane I noticed that the back of the sit is not movable. As I have cyst on my disk, I informed a cabin crew Aida. She said she will solve the problem after all passengers will arrive. So, after all passengers entered I moved to the back raw 15 and pressed the button to call the cabin crew to check if it is possible to change my sit.
Bit this time, I had another cabin crew who came and without asking the reason, started aggressively to push me to leave the sit or else to pay for it, as it was payable sit. I didn't get why she was keeping asking me “Will you pay for it or move from here”I asked her to be polite and not to use attitude to the client, where she told me “You want complain, Complain wherever you want” I have never seen in my life such impudence and unprofessionalism from Fly dubai staff before. I asked her to change my sit, she, shivering with anger, sent me to another sit, which was fine to me. I asked her name and she threw her beige with her name on my hand. Her name was Eunkyung.
Despite of spoiled mood and being disappointed by service and attitude of this cabin crew, which was mocking at me that my complain will change nothing, I would like to thank Ms. Aida, who was contrarily very professional, calm and respective.
It would be great to hear any feedback from Fly Dubai regarding this complain, as I still consider myself your regular client.

This is Nasir Khan who felt cheated by Fly Dubai Holiday. I request form you to get my hard earned money refunded which is taken by Fly Dubai holiday team.
I booked a holiday package from Dubaif to Baku from 3rd may to 6th may and paid Aed 7699.53.
I went to airport on time and they did not let me board the plane saying that there is a new rule which was not informed before that they need 6 months valid visa before travel. I am a Pakistani holding Sales supervisor Visa which is expiring in 27th OCT 2022.
My holiday plan was ruined and I requested them to change the dates and move to next dates they told me I have to pay 2000 extra and I accepted but I was unable to pay and then they said pay 5000 and then they say your booking is canceled.
I have lost my 7000+ hard earned money and they have taken my money when I was ready to pay 2000 extra they just looted me and I want my heard earned money back.
I feel cheated they never told me Visa rules at the time of booking and also they took all my money.

Baggage fees
We travelled Dubai back from Turkey to reach India. Our total baggage weighed 40kg including hand luggages. They said they will exclude 5 kgs for free and they charged 440euros for 35 kgs.. I could not find any where the guidelines how much for extra baggages in fly dubai. They charged us this big amount and said to cancel our ticket if we don't have that money to pay for luggage. Their way of act and the way they pushed us to pay for it was not really good. We really need to know this is the amount for 35 kgs of extra luggage and this is the way to response to your passengers. We really feel bad to choose fly dubai and that was very worst experience. Never book on Flydubai
I booking a two ways ticket from Beirut to Dubai, both tickets “the first Economy Value , and the second Economy Flex” had the option of free date change, and the flex with free cancellation without penalty, however this couldn’t be any further from the truth,
Upon changing the first ticket date due an update on my side , I was requested to pay an additional 31€ gor the change ( definitely wasn’t free).
And now due a change on my plans I wanted to cancel my return ticket, which is penalty free, only to be charged a 44$ penalty from flydubai.
And adding insult to injury, I was refunded with a voucher and not to my credit card, so I contacted the letstalk email only to be told the following: “ We understand your point of view regarding your refund preference, however, all flydubai refunds are issued to voucher only according to our terms and conditions, that was accepted by the customer at the time of booking.”
The problem is that this was not present in the T&C upon booking.
