Flight ticket cancelled by me. AED 200 charged per sector but no cash refund given.
Hello,
This is with reference to my booking with FlyDubai with booking reference ZCRSLG. I cancelled my booking. However, on your website it is not clear at the time of booking that the refund will be in the form of FlyDubai vouchers. It is only mentioned in the fine print in the terms and conditions. This seems very unfair. I am a frequent traveller and have travelled all over the world in many airlines but this is the first time that I have come across such an issue. FlyDubai already charged total AED 400 cancellation fees for both sector flights and on top of that they are not refunding the money. No other airline does this, especially in COVID situation. Everyone refunds the money in case of cancellations. Many airlines are not charging any thing for cancellations and where they do, the balance amount is refunded back to the original payment method.
This is my first and a very disappointing experience with FlyDubai. Request you to please take action in the matter and refund my money after cancellation charges as I do not want to have the 1 year validity voucher since I have no reason to travel to any destination where FlyDubai operates.

Please find & kindly check back at Juba Fly Dubai check in counter that, we get the notification for 1 hr delay of flight, but it is sorry to say you that all the passengers luggages are rinsing in heavy rain without any cover at Juba International Airport ramp.

I am complaining about wrong boarding pass and insulted by dnata staff
I have booked fly Dubai flight from Dubai to Chennai on 16/oct/2021 at 10.05pm. But wrong boarding pass is given to me by the Dnata staff. i suppose to fly Dubai to Chennai but boarding given to me is Dubai to Ahmedabad as well boarding pass belongs to some one else similar to my name.
Because of this mistake of Dnata staff, my trip to Chennai is completely spoiled. today is my daughter's marriage but now i am in Dubai writing this mail to you because of your wrong boarding pass. i was offloaded after completed my immigration and the person who given the boarding pass to me came to immigration section and took me out of departure area. The same night i informed to dnata staff who are all representing the Flydubai but they have insulted me and supporting their staffs who done mistake.
Because of this incident, i lost my daughter's marriage, i lost my money, i lost my last night sleep and wandered inside airport like a beggar. Such a nice treatment given by Flydubai for booking the ticket with you. i will never ever forget this moment in my lifetime. i left everything to Almightly Allah, he is the one give you enough for your activities.
Waiting in the Shuttle for 30 minutes
I was flying from dubai to chennai and I got onto the shuttle at 9:30pm and we all waited with a full shuttle bus until 10pm with one passenger coming now and then…the shuttle was with babies and kids standing the whole time…I don't know what you think about this flydubai!…. All I say is kudos! For this type of service! …I know it's a budget airline but don't tree us this way!-thank you!

However, I wanted to change my arrival date due to some personal reasons need to attend to and want to fly back by 06.11.21. Unfortunately, the response what I am getting from Agent and Flydubai is very inconvenient. I have contacted the Call Center of Flydubai and they are asking me to pay AED 650 penalty and AED 50 penalty is for Agent. In this case I am paying almost more than the fare value what I paid for KHI - DXB.
This seems very unfair atleast some reasonable solution or alternate way should be provided by Flydubai
I am looking forward into your kind consideration and positive gesture on this matter

I received from Flydubai on 21 the confirmation of that refund that will be processed in approx. 5-7weeks, and of course, I did not agree!. On 29 Sep. they informed me that the refund is under process and due to the huge volume of refund requests, the refund time frame is 7 to 10 weeks. Are almost 3 months! I need all my money back soon because have to buy a new booking with another company.
The requested amount is 9, 929, 20! I want receive back my money asap, I cannot wait for three months! They cannot take my money! I think this is illegal!
Booking the flights
I was going to use my vouchers that I had from flight cancelation in Corona time when I found out while making the booking that vouchers that were created for my 2 children (2L3SMQ and LNJ9GD) didn't have correct names on their vouchers. Both my sons have 1 first name and 1 middle name. The window for entering personal details in the booking asks only for first name and surname, there is no space for middle name! Call center sent a request for re do vouchers for my 2 sons. While this was being handled I found a cheaper flight and I made a reservation 31BLCG but I was told that I cannot cancel my original reservation HRP3TC as my voucher was already used in it. Of course it was as I didnt know that time that the vouchers for my children were not issued correctly by your company. I would wish to cancel this booking HRP3TC and to book this flights 31BLCG for 24, 378 CZK.
Complaint about baggage opening and cash missing
I Alfiah Naaz Shaikh, want to inform that while i was travelling from mumbai to kiev flight of flydubai airways, my baggage was opened and checked, plus 100$ from purse which was inside my check-in bag was stolen . My flight reference no. Is ‘926806' travelling on date 11 September 2021 from mumbai via dubai to kiev. Please revert back as soon as possible.

I am a passenger travelled yesterday on the date of 03 September 2021 from chennai to Dubai (FZ 448) and Dubai to mineralnye vody ( FZ 1977 )in a connection flight. I had a very shameful/bad experience from your services, on one of my check-in luaggues from chennai to my respected airport, so when I received my luagguages from mineralnye vodi airport, one of my luagguages was torn apart ...it seems like someone tried to rob my stuffs...I think it is very shameful experience for me and your honourable authority..and I hope it will not be repeated again ...
So, I would like to request you for a compensation for this kind of act from your respective airlines and wish that this kind of act would not happen in the upcoming future

I booked a plane ticket on 28/04/2021. On 18/06/2021 I asked to cancel the ticket because a lot of patients in covid-19 were infected in the country and I did not want to take a risk. After a month they canceled the flight. They did not give me money back they gave me a voucher. Under the Consumer Protection Act they are supposed to give options either a voucher or a refund. I emailed them twice through their website and they do not come back to me with the refund.
They must give me a refund and they did not give me, they avoid it and do not come back to me with answers.

i would like to inform you that, i have purchased flight ticket from fly Dubai .com . my travel date is 28 august from Chennai to Dubai and Dubai to Kuwait.
Hence i was depressed due to this pandemic situation i was desperately waiting Kuwait to open . when i got the news that Kuwait is allowing people to enter so i purchased a ticket from fly Dubai very quickly by paying 72, 807.61
flight FZ 448/FZ 059 with the passenger name Abdul Sattar Abdul Majeed.
later i came to know that the fly Dubai is not allowing the passenger who is working in Kuwait with valid visa in private company . so with no choice i had to go for cancellation of my ticket but when i came to know that there is a penalty and also fly Dubai is not refunding the money but giving a voucher that can be used within six months by the same person who purchased the ticket.
in my opinion its not appropriate to give voucher because anyway iam not going to use it because due to financial issues i cant travel back again from Kuwait so its useless for me.
i humbly request fly Dubai to refund my money back without penalty so that i can travel back to Kuwait with the money you refund because i have no other money & means to travel back. i am a poor straightforward person
please take it as an appeal if not done i am totally lost.
this is business for you people but for me its life. if something happens to me due to this i will blame fly Dubai.

As I'm not planning to travel anywhere in the coming 2 years.
Initially, I booked to travel from Dubai (DXB) to Kochi (COK) on 1st July 2021, but the flight was cancelled.
Later I booked again for returning after reaching India on 22nd July 2021 & on 1st Aug 2021 from COK to DXB, the flight was canceled both times.
Kindly do the necessary to process the refund, as I'm already in the UAE now and not planning to travel anytime soon.

Emergency exit seats
Hi team,
I am currently travelling from Dubai to Ahmedabad by flight number - fz-437.
I see that two of the emergency exit rows are completely empty which first of all is a complete safety issue as ideally one passenger should have been seated there so that emergency doors could have been opened if there was any emergency.
When I requested the cabin crew to switch my seats they completely denied which is very wrong, I understand the seat in an ideal scenario is chargeable but when the whole row is empty and the flight is under occupied I don't understand the reason for the denial.
In a nutshell it is a case of safety issue and passenger satisfaction.

Checking In Business Class
Hi,
To improve your services and avoid the bad experience I had with you to happen to others.
I was checked in and reached the gate 35 mins before the flight where didn't accepted me to fly so I had to buy another ticket and I lost my flight ticket without any refund. I mean, I was checked in 3 hours before the flight (without any luggage) and I was in the business lounge, they have could call me or notified or call for the flight. My expectations was limitless in your services but I am disappointed and devastated that I lost a very important flight that date in 20 August.
The staff in the gate is not professional and the flight was still in ground. No special treatment for business class passengers

With due respect, I "Rajinder Pal Singh" would like to draw your kind attention towards your attended staff at Delhi Airport (India) who are misguided & harassed us (me and my wife "Harbans Kaur"), as follows:
• They said Flight time (check-in) not yet started.
• We have extra/overweight luggage, for which Fly Dubai staff has asked the money (900 Indian Rupee) and we give them 1000 Rupee and told them to keep 100 Rupee as a tip.
• After sometime they said only we can travel through this flight and our luggage will not allowed to go due to overweight and they said if you want to take this luggage with you then pay us 50, 000 Rupee, which we agree to pay through our credit card but they refused and insisting us to pay cash not via credit card. Also, they threaded and said if we not pay those cash they will make sure to cancel all our connecting flights.
• Then we asked them to returned back our extra weight luggage as our relatives are here at airport so we can give them these extra weight baggage and we can take only allowed weight with us but they refused.
• During our above discussion the time was over and we missed our flight from Delhi to Dubai with Flydubai and our tickets were cancelled and please note that our boarding passes of British Airways were ready from Dubai to Heathrow Airport (London), copy attached.
• After that we booked another ticket of British Airways as direct flight from Delhi to London ( Arrival at London Airport Photos Attached)(copy attached).
In view of the above, we humbly request you to please take an immediate action against your staff at Delhi Airport in order to not repeat the same with other passengers.

I am complaining about the service in check in and on board
My name is Marzhan Malgazhdarova.
I with my six years old son (his name is Zhan) had a flight from Dubai to Almaty on August 14, 2021 at 21:35 (flight number FZ1721).
We came to check in counter around 19.00 p.m. to the Airport of Dubai.
The manager took our passports and in 5 minutes gave me our passports with boarding pass.
When we already passed the passport control and approached to the gate B 4, around 20.00 p.m. I saw in the boarding pass that the seat of my son was 30 D and my seat was 31D. Different raw and separately.
I really was in shock, because my son only 6 years old and he is afraid to sit separately from me on the airplane, my son is especially afraid the moment of fly up.
I didn't check the seats number because it happened first time, before I never had the such situation.
I came to the employee who sat on the table of the gate B4 and explained my situation and asked him to help me to find the seats where I can sit side by side closer with my son and change the seats.
He began to check on computer and told me that there are no empty 2 seats, which can be closely together.
I hoped may be on the board some passengers can help me, but unfortunately nobody from passengers whom I asked agree to change the seats.
Then I asked stewardesses to help me and find the empty seats side by side if nobody come, I explained my situation and told them that my 6 years old son is afraid to fly up and he needs in my closely physical presence.
When all the passengers occupied their seats, the doors of the airplane was closed, there were four empty seats, and two empty seats from this were side by side. ( 32 F and 32E). No boarding pass in the seats.
But one passenger illegally moved and sat to the seat 32 F, I mean not according to boarding pass.
I again asked the steward to check the seats according to the boarding pass but she told me that the all passengers sit according to the boarding pass.
When the airplane began to fly up my son who was sitting separately from me began to cry and asked me: "Mom please I want to sit closer with you, I am afraid." My son was filling the real stress when fly up! It was stress to me too to see the crying eyes of my son, my baby.
I again asked the steward to check the seats according to the boarding pass and she again told me that all passengers sit according to the boarding pass.
Two hours of the flight I was in stress because of my son reaction and his suffers that he was sitting separately from me during the moment of fly up.
After two hours the senior steward (her name is Aisha, sorry if not correct, I could not remember at that moment) came to me and asked my problem.
I explained her my situation and asked her please check the seats according to boarding pass.
The senior steward backed to me and told me that in reality two seats (32 F and 32E) were not occupied according to the boarding pass and then she asked the passenger who illegally occupied the seat to move to another seat and only after two hours of flight I could sit with my son side by side closer.
I am writing you to attract your attention to the voice of my small son, 6 years old only, who filled the real stress and suffer when the airplane flied up!
When he cried and asked me to sit closer with him and support him. And unfortunately I couldn't.
I am writing you to attract your attention just not to allow to repeat the such situation with another children and their moms.
6 years old boy he is still baby to me, he is only going to school this year. And please don't repeat such situation and pay more attention to the children!
Why the manager in check in counter didn't see my 6 years old son and not gave me and my son the seats closely side by side?
Why the steward didn't check the passengers seats according to the boarding pass when I asked before the fly up ?
Why if the seats 32F and 32 E were not occupied by the boarding pass could not change the seats before boarding?

I do not understand why no one is answering me properly- YOU have cancelled the flight, YOU have forced me to rebook just so I can email for a refund and now YOU are saying this is my fault? You have absolutely no rights to hold on to my money and you certainly cannot force me to use your services against my will. This is illegal what you are doing and I need my money back ASAP or I will have to take legal action against your airline.

Hi JF, FLYDUBAI did the same for my ticket from Kolkata to Tirana yesterday. They simply cancelled my flight with no explanation, and now they are forcing me to take vouchers. They didn't even reply to emails and Twitter messages. This shameful behaviour on their end is ridiculous. I'm never going to book through FLYDUBAI ever again. I can't figure out what to do with these bloody vouchers. And if anyone from FLYDUBAI is reading this. Get this sorted ASAP, otherwise there remains no option other than taking legal action against the airlines.
