I'm writing in regards to a very distasteful experience I had with your company, I have booked on a flight number fz 158 departing at 15:50 on december 20, 2018 from beirut to dubai.
After we board on the plane and it was about to take off on the runway the time approach, the pilot announced there is a technical issue and we are waiting for an engineer to arrive and check it up, after approx one hour passed while we still on board the pilot announced that there is a malfunction in the aircraft and we will be deboarded from the aircraft, after deboarded we waited at the terminal for a further update, after 2 hours waiting at the terminal the airline staff announce that aircraft fixing crew coming from dubai and this operation will take around from 5 to 10 hours, I was have no option but to wait since from basra immigrations I cant leave the terminal.
As a result of the mechanical error delayed our outbound flight, in addition to this I have lost many planned things to do in dubai, I would be asking for a complementary refund to my ticket or upgrade my return ticket to lebanon on flight number fz158 on the 25 of december from economy to business class for free.
I hope you take these complaints into consideration and I would appreciate if your company would compensate me for fees so that I can give flydubai a chance to provide a better experience next time I chose to fly with it and to show us that your service isn't always so poor.

cancelled flight fz 798 from bucharest to dubai on 1 december 2018
My name in bivolaru cezar edwards.in 18.09.2018 I booked from sc abc trading co srl a holiday in dubai between 1-6 december (in 5 december it was my birthday) for me and my wife - bivolaru aura adela - and my daughter - bivolaru andra teodora.
Our flight - fz 798 - was going to be on 1 december at 14:25 from bucharest to dubai (dbx) but it was cancelled. we waited for 5 hours in the airport and after someone has informed us to come back next day (on 2 december) at 5 a. m because the flight was cancelled.
In these conditions we lost our first night of accommodation in the jumeirah beach hotel in dubai. our holiday cost 345 euro/night according the invoice attached.
So, in this case me and my wife and my daughter we claim to be compensated for the discomfort created with 600 euros for each.

terrible experience and horrible customer service at the airport
I would like to submit a complaint regarding my horrible experience with flydubai!
I had booked three two-way tickets for my parents and myself from Amman to Dubai on the dates (Dec 1st and Dec 6th 2018). One day before the flight I checked-in online and printed our boarding passes.
When we arrived at the airport, the guy on the flydubai counter said there was an issue with my visa (all the information in my visa were correct: my passport number, my picture and my full name in English, the problem was with my first name in Arabic), I immediately contacted the travel agency that issued my visa and they informed me that as long as all the other information (most importantly the passport number) are correct then my first name in Arabic shouldn't be an issue. The guy at the counter refused to speak to the travel agency lady, refused to discuss with me and called his supervisor which was even more rude and disrespectful than he was!
When we realized they weren't going to help we decided that my parents should go ahead and travel and I would follow them on a different flight after the issue with my visa is resolved.
My parents - who already had their boarding passes went directly to the gate (as the guy at the counter has already closed the counter without telling us although we were standing in front of him the whole time). Upon reaching the gate, my parents discovered that they weren't allowed to board the plane as the guy at the counter has already cancelled their flights!
When confronted he insisted that we were the ones who asked him to cancel the flights, that never happened as the plan was to fix my visa before the flight and if not, my parents will go ahead and travel as there were no issues with their visas, and I would follow on a later flight.
Seeing as all our tickets were cancelled, we had to book brand new tickets with Royal Jordanian who accepted my visa even with the typo in my first name. Our visas were accepted, we boarded the plane, reached Dubai, the workers at the DXB airport accepted my visa and I didn't face any issues other than the pain caused by the flydubai guy at the counter.
I demand to be refunded for the tickets cancelled by flydubai and compensated for the Royal Jordanian tickets I had to buy a couple of hours after the flydubai guy cancelled our tickets, also for the overall terrible experience!

I was due to leave Kabul on flight EK2099 at 1815 on 09 Aug 18.
Check in went as normal. I waited in the departure lounge until called forward to the flight. Whilst stood in the air-bridge we were all told to return to the lounge.
I waited for some time for an update, which only came from another passenger who stated that the flight had been cancelled and we were to come back in the morning.
There was no offer of refreshments while we waited and no support for overnight accommodation.
I was left to fend for myself in a strange country and potentially hostile area.
On my return in the morning I was made to wait again for some period of time with no offer of refreshment. (Now approximately 18hrs since my last meal).
On arrival at Dubai we were all instructed to go to the FlyDubai Information Desk for assistance in our forwarding flights.
The assistant Elnara Usupova (I hope that is spelt correct), was rude, threatening and spent a lot of time on her personal mobile taking and making calls rather than speaking to the numerous distraught passengers.
My connecting flight had not been automatically arranged (even though it was with the sister company Emirates), and was told that with such a long wait for my connecting flight I could have a hotel room.
However there were only 5 rooms available and there were families there who had to wait for a day or more before and would obviously take priority.
It also became apparent that the supposed 'Act of God' that caused our flight cancellation was actually the incompetence of the pilot who landed the plane so hard in Kabul he/she damaged the landing gear. This is supported by the very hard landing we made at Dubai.
I chose to use the Emirates lounge at my own cost to allow me to have a shower and some food/drinks.
The whole experience has left me disgusted at the way FlyDubai treats its passengers, with lack of support, empathy or adequate assistance to stranded passengers after the incompetence of their own staff.
As a minimum I expect my Emirates Lounge Fees and any other associated refreshments purchased to be reimbursed to me, but on review of the social media associated with this event I can see that some people have received a commensurate financial recompense.

double charges for same flight and passenger
On 02.06.18 I tried to book the flight via FlyDubai with the booking ref. Y6TWJR (round trip from Sarajevo to Dubai), but I received the message that the payment could not be processed and I should try later.
On 06.06.18 I tried again with the same visa card and I was confirmed that my ticket is booked with the booking ref. FDWS4U
However, later I discovered that I was charged both times and I asked them to return my money (444.90 EUR) for charging the double amount for exactly same flight (date and time) and passenger details.
I have not received any email in response and I repeated it several times, still without any success.
Eventually, I have called them and I was told that my money for one ticket will be returned in 7 weeks, but its been now more than 15 weeks and my money is still not returned which I consider stealing from their own passengers.
I sent email again but nobody ever responded to the email. Also the number provided on their site for the customer care (+[protected] is not going through while all other calls are getting through (now I am again in Dubai and I have balance to make calls).
I would like to request the authorities to help me in this case, as by all means stealing from their customers is not acceptable.
I have never received any response for charging me twice for the same ticket, neither my money was ever returned to me.

My cousing was about to depart today from Dubai to Muscat Oman for visa change. She arrived on time and collected the boarding pass 2 hrs before the flight. When she was at the gates to board on the plane one of the airport supervisor put her on hold status and the reason is she was not on the master list of the passenger. It was so impossible that she was not listed since she got a boarding pass and she passed the immigration gates how come? Now she missed her flight because of this the supervisor is so rude and confiscated her boarding passes she stayed on the airport almost 20 hrs because of this. We want someone to be accountable of what happen to her. She wasted so much time and being stucked in the airport is stressful. No one assisted her and give resolution right away. long wait in the air to land in kathmandu with just water served - worst flight I ever had.

I was on a flight (booking ref: EIT3H2 / date: 30/08/18) from London Heathrow to Kathmandu and connecting in Dubai. I changed from Emirates to FlyDubai airlines (EK2355) from Dubai to Kathmandu, which was meant to take 4:40hrs and land at 15:40pm, instead, we landed 4hrs later around 8-9pm. There was an issue at Kathamndu airport where we had to wait in the air for hours and even land in India and then fly out again to Kathmandu when the issue was apparently resolved.
There was little information provided during the wait on the flight and we were only given water as compensation. Although the issue was out of Fly Dubai's control, the wait was uncomfortable and Fly Dubai airline didn't do much about it. It was extremely frustrating to wait for such long hours, I also suffer from motion sickness which made the wait worst. Surely this happens from time to time and Fly Dubai should be much more prepared for such an incident. Why should customers suffer when we paid for this flight?
I am hoping for a Refund/ compensation for such an awful flight, the worst I ever had to deal with during my travels.
poor service
I booked a flight from Bucharest to Karachi and at the time I was not notified regarding the change of terminals during the transit. As I found out through a friend I tired contacting fly dubai so I can find out. But it Was of no use as you guys are not being cooperative.
I kept asking repeatdly regarding the transit and change of terminals and if you guys could just guide me but still no guidance.
I made a big mistake with fly dubai.

Note: We have been provided a meal after 6 hrs.
The replacement aircraft arrived at 11:15 PM and was take off on 12:00 PM, due to this i have missed my connection flight from Dubai to Alexandria which was supposed to be on 09:45 PM,
we arrived at Dubai airport on Sep 05th at 03:00 AM, and they re booked my flight to the next available one at 11:05 AM from Dubai to Alex, finally they have provided me a hotel as my next flight was after 8 hrs, and we were already exhausted after 9 hours sitting at Basra terminal .
As a result of the mechanical error delayed our outbound flight and missed my connection flight, I have missed my ACCA exam which I was suppose to attend on Sep 5th 11:00 AM . I have planned this exam before and have got an exceptional leave from my company to attend my exam, since I'm going on leave every 3 months and its hard for me to adjust my leave with the exam dates, in addition to this i have lost my exam booking fees which worth value of GBP 132/- plus the center fees of GBP 50/-.
Note: I have attached the exam docket to approve the timing of the examination.
I hope you take these complaints into consideration and I would appreciate if your company would compensate me for above fees of GBP 182/- plus the loss of attending my exam which i value these at more than GBP 600/-, so that i can give Flydubai a chance to provide a better experience next time i chose to fly with it and to show us that your service isn't always so poor.

The ticket was done by your silly agent for a infant but aacording to papssport she was a child ur rediculous agent confirmed the ticket as infant. my flight fz 796 was canceled
My name is Stefan Papamanci and my flight FZ 796 on 3rd Sept 2018 0:30 was canceled and reschedule for 16:15 and then delay to 16:50, 17:20, 18:00 and finally we left Henri Coanda Airport in Bucharest at 19:05. This cause me a lot of problems with my job and a lot of money. I lost my connection from Dubai to Dammam and other connection also. On 3rd Sept I had a flight from Dammam to Jed Jeddah and next morning from Jed Jeddah to Ejh Wedjh. Al my flights has to be reschedule and money lost. In the night when my flight was canceled I must take taxi and go back home and next day another taxi to come back to the airport. All this are money, stress and problem at my job. Please let me know how are you planning to compensate me for those problem Fly Dubai causes to me? I try to attach some picture with my reservation for the flights I lost from Dammam to Jed and from Jed to Ejh but the space to put those picture is to small and I couldn't. refund based on medical condition
We have raised this concern / request on the 15th of August - well within the travel dates . It has taken a while to service this request . We have made atleast 6 calls to the call center to assist us on the same.
When we raised this complaint our request was to re consider the cancellation fee/refund of the fare cost based on genuine medical conditions which is proven in terms of documents .
I do not think Fly Dubai understands the sensitivity of the reason of cancellation. If you would we would not have the below as a constraint
1. Response time to resolve a complaint
2. Sensitivity/Genuinity of the reason for cancellation- Pregancy of my wife
3. Charging the whole cancellation fee of AED 800/- with no exception.
4. Taking our request as a an exception especially when we have informed well in advance ( dated 15th August )
5. Provided medical reports to ensure that there is no doubts on cancellations and there is a trust factor
We as a family are disappointed with the type of service given to us and i would again request you to relook at the cancellation fee of AED 800/- which is high . I also would like to complain about how GOLD GYM in Amman - Abdoun branch . The GYM announced an offer in December 2021 that when you bring a lady to register in the GYM you will get 2 months for free which I did. They did not add the two months to my subscription despite my repeated reminders . I called the gym in January 20th and the lady I called confirmed that the two months are added. Also in June 15th I talked to the manger he confirmed that he will add the tow months . Unfortunately today when I came to the GYM I was told that my subscription is ended ( 6 months) which mean that the tow months are not added. When I call the sale focal point he asked me again about the details of the persons I brought to the GYM which I already shared several time even recently in June 15th 2022. It looks like there is no good information system in the GYM and that offers are not considered. I really feel bad to be treated like this as I have been a member in another GYM for many years and did not face such issue.

21st of August 2018 at 9.15 me and my friend were in Flydubai Counter to collect our Boarding pass we had purchased the tickets together and were travelling to dubai, we were harassed by the Counter person of flydubai prior issueing boarding pass, I can say he was an racist, I have been travelling in flydubai since so many years and always Co operated with delay flights etc but this insult is unacceptable in hospitality business and fyi he did not issue the seats together even inspite of requests and flight beeing 60% empty, I do not want to tweet or go on social media because I love flydubai and because of one person I cannot blame entire flydubai team, so kindly take action on this

I had my first flight with Flydubai travelling from Beirut to Kuwait with a one hour transit in Dubai on August 17. For a flight that was supposed to be a 6 hour process, it ended up being well over 12 hours due to a delayed flight in Beirut and a missed connecting flight in Dubai. While I do understand that delays happen during peak times, I was very unimpressed by the lack of facilities offered for families, particularly those with babies and children under 2. I was travelling with my 10 month old son and their lack of support made it a very difficult experience.
The incident:

Description of incident: My flight from Beirut to Dubai (FZ158) was delayed for over 2 hours, which meant I missed my connecting flight from Dubai to Kuwait (FZ071). Upon arriving, I was provided with new tickets, but, considering the next flight was scheduled 7 hours later, I was offered no hotel or family lounge access compensation. I was told the terminal does not have these luxuries. This meant I had to carry my son for well over 12 hours because they took my stroller upon boarding and was told I would not have access to it until I reached Kuwait. Added to that I was offered no cot in the plane. This was very unreasonable considering that the terminal that Flydubai uses in Dubai does not provide complementary strollers or family lounges. Needless to say it was a very stressful experience for both my son and me, both physically and mentally.
Resolution: monetary refund. I was left both physically and mentally exhausted by the experience. Travelling with an infant and having had to carry him for over 12 hours is horrible especially when there are no facilities offered to help ease the stress. Flydubai should consider providing assistance to travellers with infants, including cots on the plane and strollers in their terminal, as well as a family lounge if no nearby hotel is available.
