Rwandair Cancelling of flights and lack of customer services

28th November 2023, I bought 23er June to use for December, only find out on 28th that the flight had been canceled

I tried to get an understanding, but it took the next day before I was transferred to another flight and to another date

I lost money for all the arrangements I made in advance and when I asked for compensation

booked a seat for me or upgrade my ticket, the company refused and asked me to pay money for a seat and said that they were not responsible for the cancelation and I was not entitled for compensation

Hope everything finds you all well. I travelled on the 10th of june from houston texas heading to kenya with my three kids, one of my luggage was lost upon arrival in kenya, we filled up a form and we were told they will contact us and bring the bag to us, we followed up every time were told the had not found it, we sent emails but nothing has come up yet...

Rwandair Broken Baggage

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Airline

The issue that I have experienced was: On return to London Heathrow airport, I found the zip of the luggage broken, 2 wheels and the outer frame of the luggage were twisted and broken. As a result, some contents inside the luggage were damaged causing leakage.

It occurred on: 04/09/2023

This meant that I wasn't able to wheel the luggage due to the extensive damage. It was exhausting having to carry/drag my luggage for a very long distance. The luggage couldn't be closed safely. I can't use this luggage any longer.

I want a full refund/replacement for a new luggage. This luggage costed me £180.00.

I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply to this email address.

Rwandair Canceled flight and provided no refund

Purchased a roundtrip flight for December in October 2023 from IAD to KGL via DOH. My return flight from KGL to IAD via DOH was then canceled in which I had to book a new flight with a new carrier. I’ve requested a refund for my canceled flight at least 10 times and still have not received it. They have sent a form to complete, which I forwarded multiple times. This airline should be out of business for their fraudulent business practices.

Rwandair Lost luggage

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the mishandling of my luggage during a recent flight with Rwanda Air from Kigali to Paris. It has been two weeks since my luggage went missing, and despite my numerous attempts to seek assistance from customer service, I have not received any response or resolution to this matter.

To provide some context, my husband and I traveled from Kigali to Paris on 7/11/23. While my husband's bag was thankfully delivered to our home last week, arriving from Kigali to Boston, my luggage has yet to be located and returned to me. This unfortunate situation has had significant consequences on my health and well-being.

In my lost luggage, I had crucial medication that I required due to a Foodborne illness I contracted in Africa. Regrettably, without the necessary antibiotics that were in my bag, my condition worsened, and I was left with no choice but to seek medical attention at the emergency room of a hospital in Paris. This unfortunate incident not only compromised my 60th birthday celebration trip but also led to additional medical expenses and an overall disappointing experience.

Moreover, losing my luggage has resulted in financial losses as well. I had invested in a wardrobe for this special trip, and now all those beautiful clothes are irretrievable. Additionally, several scheduled sightseeing activities had to be canceled as I did not have the appropriate attire to wear. This has not only caused inconvenience but also left me feeling devastated, as it was meant to be a memorable celebration that has now turned into a distressing experience.

At this point, I urgently request a prompt response and action from KLM regarding the recovery of my lost luggage. The bag contains not only clothes that hold sentimental value but also irreplaceable souvenirs made by a tribe in Uganda. These items are of great significance to me, and their loss adds to the emotional distress caused by this entire situation.

I implore Rwanda Air to take this matter seriously and undertake all necessary efforts to locate and return my luggage as soon as possible. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, but the lack of communication and resolution from the customer service department has been deeply disappointing.

Please treat this matter with utmost urgency, and kindly keep me informed of any updates regarding the status of my lost luggage. I eagerly await a satisfactory response from KLM, including a plan for retrieving my belongings promptly.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that with your assistance, we can bring a resolution to this unfortunate situation and restore my faith in the service provided by Rwanda Air.

Desired outcome: I would like my bag to be found or be compensated in full for the $3,500 worth of my belongings.

Rwandair Complaint following a canceled flight

I, the undersigned, Mr Takeu freddy declare that I have booked flight no.

AIRLINE RESERVATION CODE OLP2MF (WB) departing from Dubai, and bound for CAMEROON scheduled for 03/07/23 on board Rwandair limited. Nevertheless, the flight in question was canceled and rescheduled without any information regarding me.

I therefore wish to obtain compensation for my damage in the amount of x in accordance with what is provided for in Article 7 of Community Regulation 261/2004 in such circumstances.

I would be grateful if you could send me your response to my claim for compensation within seven days of receipt of this letter, as provided for by the regulations in force, failing which I reserve the right to take my complaint to the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.

Rwandair bags lost - KGLWB21524/07JUN23/2052

Good day

I departed OR Tambo international in Johannesburg on 07/06/2023 at 16:00.

the flight went through Lusaka Zambia on route to Kigali Rwanda. My bag was tagged in OR Tambo and was somehow not loaded onto the plane! i am here for an AU conference and find myself without clothes in what is a very formal setting. there does not seem to be clarity as to when/if my bag will arrive, this is exceptionally poor!

Desired outcome: i would like clarity as where my bag is and have it delivered to the convention centre in Kagali (Radisson Blu) as a matter of urgency!!!!

Rwandair The "dream of Africa" is late arrival and poor customer service

On 20 November 2022 the flight from Kigali to Johannesburg was delayed by several hours causing me (and many other passengers) to miss our onward connections. In Kigali I was assured that an agent would assist me in Johannesburg, but when I arrived their desk was empty. I had to book my own hotel and rebook a new onward flight, all at my expense.

I have since tried to contact RwandAir by email (one address bounced back and to the other they never responded), by phone (no answer). Finally I asked a friend in Rwanda to go to the office. I got a number where someone picked up, but they repeatedly hung up on me and ultimately only referred me back to the email. I've emailed again and still had no answer.

The delay cost me approximately $500 USD.

Desired outcome: 1. Compensation for the cost of the delay2. Written statement of the cause of the delay to assist in applying for compensation from my credit card.

Rwandair Cabin crew behavior

Complain: mistreatment of customer

Rwandair flight No:WB 300 Kigali to Doha

Date: 22 nd August, 2023.

Dear Sir,

I would like to bring in to your kind notice a incident I faced in the above flight. This incident is a reflection of some of the cabim crew members adamant behaviour which tarnish the reputation of the airline.

I belive that cabin crew shall be always prepared to listen and help the passengers in flight and to take care of any emergency passengers facing.

Contrary to above, I was able to experienced non customer friendly treatment in the WB 300 on 22 nd August when I was travelling to Doha.

I was very thirsty even when I board the flight. I was waiting patiently until meal was served to have a cup of water. When the cabin crew member ( a lady in economy class) asked me the type of meal, I said first to give me a cup of water. She did not care my request for water and went on serving the others, and then gave me meal and at last she reluctantly gave me the cup of water. By that time , more than seven times , I requested water as I badly felt thirsty. But, my voice was not taken as a emergency call and she acted on her feelings to delay giving a cup of water.

When I complained the incident to cheif of cabin, they took it as a matter of concern and said sorry for the incident. While appreciating their good manners , I would propose to esteemed management of Rwandair

to provide good customer care training to the cabin crew on priority basis to prevent Dissatisfaction and disappointment of customers due to mischievous behaviour of some of crew members.

Also it would be better provide sufficiently drinking water to the customers on board without hesitation on request.

Rwandair Lounge customer service

Hi all rwandair team,

Encore, j'ai voulu attirer l'attention sur le comportement de l'un des vôtres.
Son nom est Erick Inshimeyemana,
personne agressive, arrogante et, surtout, un petit homme d'affaires... Je pense qu'il gagne un peu d'argent en plus pour son salaire (extras comment on dit), car, par exemple, je n'ai jamais reçu de la facture de ce monsieur pour payment d'avoir être entré dans le lounge.
Malheureusement, je ne peux rien dire de positif sur ces compagnies aériennes après quatre ans de voyage avec rwanda air...
Merci à des personnes comme M. Erick pour avoir amélioré négativement l'image de votre entreprise...
une image que je vais diffuser et propager grâce à des gens comme erick.
Je n'ai jamais rien reçu de positif de la part de votre company, au contraire, c'est triste... malhereux et désespéré... brûlure ... manque d'honnêteté dans la facturation ... arrogance des agents ... je me demande quoi d'autre...
Je n'attend rien de votre part, par compte vous pouvez compter sur moi pour raconter et pour dire à tout le monde comment et ce qui se passe à rwandair...
