The first and second yr of owning this NEW Cedar Creek Cottage I spent months on the phone and emails about the failed refrigerators the fan paddle broke in half with no one here, the furniture falling apart the fireplace not working the shades falling down and lastly the roof leaks now causing the slide to go out leaving rotten wood on the floor All manufacturers said we only give a 1 yr warranty so not one manufacturer paid anything We had to pay but this roof leak was the end We must tell all about this co called Forest River owned by Warren Buffett
Recommendation: DON'T BUY
This was bought new and delivered in 2022 Since we purchased the 2 refrigerators broke, the shades either fell off the windows or just don't work. the chairs springs are faulty and the grey color on the chairs flaked off, the paddle on the fan in the salon just fell down when we were not there, the floors have some nails through them, now the roof is leaking so bad we found rotten wood when we put the kitchen slide out Forest River said they only warranty for one year Since we only use we didn't notice these defects starting until we came down in 2023 and the first warranty year was up
When you purchased a new RV from Forest River, it was already falling apart in several parts from broken furniture to shaded collapsing, and a fireplace that was not working all the way to an oven leaking and causing rotting. They are quick to take your cash but all the while concealing behind a terrible one year warranty which makes you handle the costly repairs. This is pure negligence on their behalf. Inform everyone, spread the word, and if within your reach, seek legal help - you deserve the assistance since it isn't fair that you have to bear the cost of their unprofessionalism.
Yes I intend to see council and spread the word If I can inform just one mind I will be happy and maybe they will learn something Warren Buffett is the owner and I hope he reads the new quarterly figures Thank you for your reply
I just got the final reply from both roofing companies that supply to Forest River The first roofing material company said it was their material that was the defect So I called the next roofing company for Forest River they determined it wasn't them or their material it was an animal that came up on our roof that did the damage This is so ludicrous there are no animals that go up on anyone's roofs we would have noticed animals on roofs They suggested we replace or call our insurance company BBB got back to me and replied we only take defects one year or under (they were also no use) One yr or under I don't need BBB either does anyone else. So it's time for a Civil Case
