Washer draining to black tank
We purchased a used 2018 silverback 37flk this spring. The previous owner just used it on the weekends and never had a washer booked up. We live in ours all summer and use the washer every day. We found out that the factory plumed the washer into the black holding tank as we have to drain it every 3 days. I just got off the phone with your customer service lady and she wouldn't take any responsibility for the screw up since I'm the second owner. I told her to explain to me why I have to pay for your company screw up, no good explanation and she eventually hung up on me. I have been self employed my entire career and this is unacceptable.

We purchased a new 30 foot travel trailer from Gander Outdoors in september of 2019. We noticed a severe leak coming from the skylight in the bathroom. Upon further investigation, I realized the skylight was cracker at almost every screw used to attach it to the camper. Our tub was 4 inches deep in water, meaning so much rain had leaked in it filled the tank. We took the camper to Gander outdoors in Augusta, GA to get it fixed. They informed us that the entire roof needed to be replaced as there were multiple water intrusions. Not just water from the skylight. They said they had over 100 hours worth of work to do to repair the roof. They also informed us that it would not be covered under warranty. How that is so, im not sure. These are preexisting issues. The roof is rotted out on this camper that we have had for less than 2 years. It was sold to us as new unit. My camper has been in Ganders possession for a month now. Im still waiting on a call back for a resolution. The complaint is against the quality of Forest Rivers product and the quality of Ganders customer service and service departments.
Desired outcome: full refund
2020 forest river cherokee limited floor issues
VIN: 4X4TCKC25LX142721
Purchased from Bobby Comes RV 3/13/2020
In July 2020 it was returned for a large gouge in the floor caused by the slide out. It was returned again for another gouge in the floor in February 2021. While making repairs, the dealership caused stains in another part of the floor. Each time it was returned to the dealership they patched the floor. Glue seeped around the patches and is visible on the surface of the floor.
The problem is that the patches are now peeling and curling. The condition of the floor in the main living space is absolutely unacceptable. The patchwork approach has not worked.
Desired outcome: I want the entire floor in the living area replaced.
Forest river is the worst. Customer Satisfaction is a joke. Mismatched components in solar system. QC is not performed in production. No finish product QC Inspection either. Walkthrough rushed by trainee who don’t know RV’S.
Slide issues / bent frame manufacturer defect
We purchased our Unit NEW in Spring of 2017. We received a TSB report that our Outriggers from our slide needed to be re-enforced and new Z riggers will need to be installed. We sent our unit in to be serviced from Alberta to British Columbia in the fall of 2017 to get the work done. Fast forward to 2020 and we closed up for the season, the Slide did not go...

A Sliding glass door shattered? This is not a common problem. Did a defective seal for the glass caused this?
Desired outcome: Defective?
Furniture
The furniture in our forest River Georgetown started pulling and falling apparent within a few hears. The fact they aren't required to replace is insane they are getting away with this. And to top it off we paint extra for the protection inside and out what a joke and they make it impossible to fix or get help. Do not purchase an RV from this manufacturer it's a joke

Brand new, fridge does not work at all. Ruined everything I put in there first time we took it out. Called dealership, was told it might be Aug before it can be fixed. I did NOT buy a brand new camper, just to have no fridge for the entire camping season!
Desired outcome: Replace fridge

Camper leaked on either side of slide. March 2021 Shorted out the slide with it open. Mobile repair closed the slide manually. Removed slide moters from wall. Made it easy to access. Drove camper to General rv dover fl asked if after they replaced the box we could put in the closet instead of under the slide. Well after it was fixed the service guy left...

In researching a "Park Model" "Park Trailer" I did purchase the Sierra Destination 401. After completely explaining my reasons for purchasing a "Park Trailer" I was sold an RV contract. I delayed the purchase until I was "told" "This is the only contract we have", "There are mobile technician's that can perform any warrantee work". My unit is now fixed and permanent on site as a "Park Model" should be with a surrounding deck. The dealer and manufacturer LIED. They will not maintain the Warrantee, unless the unit is taken to the dealership.
My warrantee issues started with 2 water line connectors incorrectly installed that caused 2 separate floods. Our Bedroom slide out was not factory caulked against rain causing Mold in our bedroom and mattress including walls. The Range is not vented and has melted and charred the kitchen wall. the heat has warped the upper cabinet bottoms.
Desired outcome: MAINTAIN THE FACTORY WARRANTEE
2019 grey wolf has awful logo design graphics that are coming off our entire travel trailer. Only 2 yrs old and this is ridiculously bad.
2019 travel trailer grey wolf designed graphics are peeling off and this needs repair. All of the travel trailers logo etc is peeling off and looks gross.
Desired outcome: Fixed
2019 cardinal limited 5th wheel vin # 4x4fcar24kg103826
The siding is cracking on the left lower corner of the bedroom slideout. I took it to the dealer I bought it from and the said they would have to keep it and figure out why this was happening. They said it could be from a broken weld inside the wall framing or it may be that it was never welded to start with. They said it also could be that forest river didnt install a expansion joint in this area where other manufacturers do and those units that have the expansion joint never have this problem. My complaint is why should I have to pay for this if it is discovered it was not properly done at the manufacturer. Its unbelievable this has accurerd in such a short time period. I've owned 5 5th wheels and never had this problem. What if anything can forest river do for me?
Desired outcome: I would like Forest River to cover the repair since the RV is only less than 2 years old.

I purchased a 2020 Forest River RV from Camping World in November 2019 and moved into it full-time in January 2020. I've had a multitude of problems over the past year with the RV, the main one being that the black tank fell off because when the RV was manufactured they forgot to put one of the two steel support bars on. Eventually, these were mostly fixed and I received a refund from Camping World for the money I'd already paid to fix things along with a small amount of compensation, in return for signing a release.
I was still waiting for one small thing to be repaired two weeks ago, when I was in the shower and there was an awful sound of ripping metal. I called the RV repair company and when they came out they told me that the other tank, the grey tank had fallen off this time. The word he used was 'scary' and that in his 20+ years of working on RV's he'd never seen anything like this.
This is a serious manufacturing problem, as were many of the previous problems. I have no idea what else could be wrong with this RV. The repairman said he'd write up a report after he comes back to fix the tank, because he won't know exactly what else is damaged until he removes it. He advised me to get rid of it as soon as possible!
I can't trust the structure of the RV and I have no idea when something else is going to fall off it. My dream of living small in an RV has turned into a year of headaches, and it has left me wishing I had never bought this RV in the first place!
Desired outcome: To resolve this nightmare, I want Forest River to take this RV back, pay the remaining financing off, pay me back my deposit and the money I've paid towards it over the last year.
Flooring issues manufacture defects
I have a 2017 Heritage Glen Lite and having floor issues in 2 spots both in living area sponge feeling between floor joist and is becoming a liability issue of worrying if someone is going to trip or fall through . I have read on some other complaints about this on some other models. is there anything Forest River will do to help with this on getting situation resolved.
Desired outcome: Manufacture Defect
Incorrect parts provided for rv repair.
I have a Dynamax DX3 37RB that has been at Camping World in Burlington Washington for several months for repairs because Forrest River has sent the wrong part 3 times now. The part in question is the Left Rear Bay Door. I have no idea what the problem that Forrest River is having and frankly I don't care. I will be filing a complaint with the Better...

Purchased a 2018 Forest River Windjammer and last year the fiberglass started bubbling. The bubbles are appearing in the center of the siding, not down from roof top. Per RV repairman, no sign of water damage but no glue on sections of siding. So happy I don't have to worry about water damage or mold but frustrated that I have bought a $40, 000 trailer which the siding is delaminating! I feel the manufacturer is responsible for poor workmanship and should stand behind their products on a relatively new trailer! Please have someone contact me!
Desired outcome: Fix the problem or replace it
Quality
I had been a warranty rep for the XLR division of Forest River, retiered last year. Was talking with a co worker that job was open and I explaind that I would be willing to help out well come back.
Her boss Brent Stevens the person that run's the XLR division refuses to rehire me guess why.I had been two honest with retaijs giving out to much truth about production built in problems wih units.
Never in my life before have I missied out on employment because I was too honest
I can believe this is the truth. I too have problems with Forest River Lies. 1st lie that there inverter doesn’t come with with remote switch. All WFCO Inverters come with remote switch. “Per WFCO Rep” 2nd Lie that if you Mate a Go Power solar system with a WFCO inverter they do not interface correctly creating a mismatched system were wall controller is rendered useless the wall controller will not turn off and on the inverter at wall or in APP. As advertised. They should hire a electrical engineer to design a functional system. Instead of trying to get me to buy the lie my coach doesn’t come with a remote control. What B.S.
Customer service, collateral swap
We purchased a Cedar Creek Champagne in June 2019, that is now and has been at the Forest River plant in Elkhart IN since Sept 2020. Our unit became infested with mold due to the A/C's not being put in correctly, they discovered a void in the cap and the seams were not sealed correctly among other issues. In October 2020, Forest River agreed to do a collateral swap on our unit. Our new unit was to be built Dec 3, 2020 but was not done then it was to be completed the first week of February 2021. As far as we know the unit is built and has been through PDI, but can not get any confirmation as to what is happening or when it will be delivered. During this process we have been communicating with Steven Hall, Rachel Rollins, and Morgan Underwood. All three of these people have stopped communicating with us, phone calls do not get returned, emails go unanswered. Our bank has been waiting two months for Steven to initial off on the new VIN number and send it to them, the dealership we purchased the unit from has been trying to get in touch with Steven and Rachel for over a month with no response. Steven advised us in January 2021 that Forest River agreed to pay for 8 months of our payments, and we would have in his words "check in hand in 10 to 14 days", it has been two and a half months now with no sign of this check. My husband and I have gone through and currently going through insomnia, depression and stress over all of this. We have lost two incredible job opportunities due to not having our unit, which we needed in order to take these jobs. We have paid $8382.88 and counting in loan payments, $953.44 and counting in insurance payments for a unit we do not have and can not get any information on what is happening. The way we are being treated by being ignored is overwhelming, no one should be treated this way. I have over a hundred emails that confirm everything I am saying, plus they show all the ignored emails we have sent trying to get information. We need our new unit, our reimbursement we are owed and Forest River needs to train their employees on customer relations. Thank you

Desired outcome: We would like some communication, our new unit, our reimbursement, compansation for all of our grief and for Steven Hall, Rachel Rollins and Morgan Underwood to be taught on how to treat people.
Furniture
We have a forest river FR3 it's a 2016 there's only two of us seniors that are in it the arms are peeling on the leather suppose the leather one the tables the captain chairs the arms on the dining set it's really horrible I feel that some compensation should be allowed by forest river means makes the camper very ugly. I hope that I get some satisfaction and somebody at least comes back and tells me something at least say I'm sorry that your furniture is peeling after only a few years it looks horrible
Desired outcome: Replace
We have a 2018 Cardinal Luxury with the same problem. This furniture that is advertised as leather, is not, it is vinyl. Will be contacting the maker (since our dealer is no longer there) when we get back from our current trip. Don’t really expect a resolution, but will go through the motions. Maybe a class action suit might be the answer.
Forest river travel trailer 2018
Leaking roof... called Forest River absolutely no help at all worst customer service EVER... offered NO HELP... said it was our 'problem' to fix since it was only ONE MONTH out of warranty... sad but true You would think since it was only ONE MONTH they would at least pay half of repairs... but wait it gets better... now 2 months after getting it FIXED ITS LEAKING AGAIN...
BASICALLY, THEY ARE TELLING YOU THAT YOU DID'NT DO YOUR ROUTINE MAINENANCE TO CHECK CAULKING AREAS ON THE ROOF AND REPAIR AS NEEDED. WARRANTY I BELIEVE COVER'S ROOF FOR LONGER THAN THE 1 YR BUMPER TO BUMPER, BUT COVERS DEFECTS ONLY. NORMALLY AND IF YOU CAN PROVE ITS A DEFECT YOU SHOULD BE COVERED DESPITE ( COVID RELATED REASONS) I KNOW THEY ARE BEHIND, SHORT STAFFED AND OVERWHELMED THIS YEAR.
2021 travel trailer I purchased in september 2020
I purchased a 2021 Forest River Travelers trailer in September 2020. I had only used the camper once before my 12/14 trip to Gatlinburg. The trailer has a defect in which the slide out either sweats or leak in extreme cold while we utilize the heating system. We properly used the venting system yet my clothing had to be taken out the closet due to being wet from either the sweating and/or rain. I had to remove my belonging due to them becoming wet as water puddles formed in the slide out(I have pictures). The walls were wet, my food that were in boxes were soaked, just not pleased. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that the trailer was not equipped to withstand the cold and that I needed to purchase a dehumidifier and open the vents while the heat is on(mind you the vents allow cold air in etc). I informed the supervisor that my biggest concern was the fact that I this continues we would deal with MOLD, and paneling damage. I feel this is a manufactures defect, I brought extended warranties, and am concerned due to the damage of my belongings and future problems with MOLD.
Desired outcome: Fix issue or trade camper in for one that is equipped to withstand cold and not ruin my personal belongings and set up MOLD
unfortunately, yea these unit are not designed for all 4 seasons as advertised
