Four Points Hotels by Sheraton review: Hidden costs

I stayed in Four Points Perth 16/09/2023 with my husband for Cirque Du Soleil. The room was great and clean, staff were friendly. My complaint is the hidden charges. My booking was $329 for the night including breakfast. I was charged $379 so when I asked about the extra charge I was told it was security deposit, that’s fine and lucky I had money in my account but I wasn’t informed and it wasn’t on any of the booking info. The second hidden charge was for the buffet dinner which was disappointing in its self for $55 each, and was charged a surcharge on top of that, I looked back at the booking and there is zero mention of a surcharge. The next complaint is the cost of parking. We were charged $25 but in the Elder Street parking website it says $10. plus a surcharge for using a debit card?! All up hidden surcharges were $81.99! My final complaint is the buffet breakfast.. the plate was so hot I burnt my hand! I can’t imagine the damage if a child went to get a plate!

All in all the stay was nice and the room was good. You should really tell people about the surcharges.
