Avoid! Nightmare company
AVOID! Do not call them. We needed a ride from the airport at 1 am in Barcelona. Never had been before and didn’t know our way around. Everyone else’s pick up was there at the gate as they should be. Ours couldn’t be found. We called and were told several times he was there and to wait. We waited..and waited.. he didn’t arrive for 40 minutes. That’s an eternity after a long flight. Then we spent the next 10 minutes looking for his car because he got lost. If we had taken a taxi, we would have been in the hotel by the time he found us in the airport. It took him 40 minutes in the middle of the night with no traffic to get us to the hotel. It’s a 16 minute drive normally. When he couldn’t find the hotel, he tried to convince us a church was the hotel. Luckily we were able to show him where the hotel was. We didn’t get to the hotel until 3 am. It was a nightmare. When I complained, they offered me 15% off our next ride. I wouldn’t even take a free ride in the future. Terrible business
Disappointing Service from ZIP Transfers: Private Taxi for Two Turned into Shared Taxi with Seven Passengers
I recently used ZIP Transfers for a private taxi service for myself and one other person. However, I was quite disappointed with the service that was provided. Despite booking and paying for a private taxi for only two people, we were instead given a taxi that had six adults and one child. This was not what I had expected or paid for.
The lady who assisted us was not very helpful either. She simply told us that they could not provide a private taxi for just the two of us and suggested that we take another taxi instead. This was very unprofessional and unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expected to receive the service that I had paid for.
Although they assured us that they could provide the service that we needed, they failed to do so. This was a major inconvenience for us and put a damper on our trip. I would not recommend using ZIP Transfers if you are looking for a reliable and professional private taxi service.
Unreliable and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with ZIP Transfers
I recently had an experience with ZIP Transfers and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I had booked a transfer service for my trip to Rome, Italy. I made the booking two weeks in advance for pick up at Rome Fiumicino airport and back to the airport five days later. However, my experience with the company was far from satisfactory.
Upon arrival at Fiumicino airport, we were disappointed to find that there was nobody waiting for us. We waited for about 20 minutes before deciding to call the company. After calling them on three separate occasions, we were told that the taxi would arrive in about 20 minutes. This was on top of the 20 minutes we had already waited. It was quite frustrating to say the least.
I was so disappointed with the service that I asked them to cancel the booking altogether. However, they only refunded less than half the charge arguing that they needed to have notice via email. This was quite unfair as I had already called them three times to inform them of the delay.
Overall, my experience with ZIP Transfers was not a good one. I would advise anyone looking for a transfer service to stay away from this company. Their service is unreliable and their customer service is poor.
Disappointing Experience with ZIP Transfers: Late Arrival and Misleading Information
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with ZIP Transfers. I was expecting someone to be waiting for me at Gatwick, but no one was there when I arrived. I had to make a bunch of calls and wait around for almost an hour before they finally sorted things out. It was a real pain in the neck.
But what really got me was when they straight up lied to me. They told me that the driver was waiting for me at Costa coffee, but I had been standing right in front of it the whole time. Turns out they had to pull another driver off his dinner break just to come pick me up. I mean, come on. That's just not cool.
All in all, I don't think I'll be using ZIP Transfers again anytime soon. And I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone else either. It's just not worth the hassle.
Unreliable and Unprofessional: A Review of ZIP Transfers
We were supposed to be picked up by ZIP Transfers at 2:05 PM, but when I called them at 10 past, they told me that they had forgotten to put us on the system and had no available vehicles. They apologized and offered a refund for the departure. My family and I, a group of six, were left stranded on the side of the road.
Feeling frustrated and helpless, I decided to seek help from the reception at Playa Maria apartments. I explained the situation to her, and she kindly offered to call ZIP Transfers on my behalf since they were not answering my calls. She informed me that they would pay for a taxi and asked me to get a receipt and email it to them. She called a taxi for us, and we were able to make it to the airport. Surprisingly, the cost of the taxi was less than what we would have paid for ZIP Transfers.
I strongly advise against using ZIP Transfers. They are unreliable and unprofessional. It was a terrible experience for my family and me, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.
Disappointing Experience with ZIP Transfers: Driver's Unprofessionalism and Lack of Support
So, I recently used ZIP Transfers for a trip and I have to say, it was a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, the driver was there on time and everything seemed to go smoothly. However, when we arrived at our destination, things took a turn for the worse.
The driver claimed that we had somehow managed to get chewing gum all over the interior of his car, despite the fact that no one in our group had even had any chewing gum. To make matters worse, he then proceeded to drive away with one of our traveller's purses.
We were understandably upset and tried to reason with the driver, but he was only interested in getting us to pay a "cleaning fee" (which felt more like a ransom) in order to get the purse back. We refused to pay, and unfortunately, ZIP Transfers was not at all helpful in resolving the situation.
Despite our repeated attempts to get them to take action, they refused to talk to the driver, remove him from their driver's list, or offer any support whatsoever. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed with their lack of concern for our safety and well-being.
All in all, I have to say that I would not recommend using ZIP Transfers. While the initial experience may have been okay, the way they handled this situation was completely unacceptable. We will definitely be looking for a different transportation option for our next trip.
Smooth and Professional: My Experience with Zip Transfers
I've gotta say, I've used Zip Transfers twice now and they've been top notch both times. Their website is super easy to use and has all the deets you need. When we arrived at the airport, our driver was already waiting for us in the arrivals hall, even though our flight was delayed by like an hour. And let me tell you, the ride from the airport to our resort was smooth as butter in a fancy Mercedes SUV. The driver didn't speak much English, but it didn't matter cuz they were still super chill.
On the way back to the airport, our driver showed up outside our apartment like ten minutes early and we had another sweet ride in a comfy, high-quality vehicle. Both drivers were total pros and really friendly, which made the whole experience even better.
Honestly, I'd recommend Zip Transfers to anyone without hesitation. They're the real deal.
Disappointing Experience with ZIP Transfers in Tenerife: A Lesson Learned
We recently had an experience with ZIP Transfers during our trip to Tenerife. Upon arrival at the airport, we were instructed to go to desk 14 to meet our transfer. However, when we arrived, there was no one there to assist us. We waited for 15 minutes, but still no one showed up. Frustrated, I made two calls to ZIP Transfers, but it took a while before a representative finally arrived. Although we were in Spain, the lady who came to assist us couldn't speak English, which made communication difficult.
While we were waiting, three older ladies also arrived, expecting their transfer. We were then led down the airport and back to desk 14, with our luggage in tow, but still no taxi. By this time, we had already been waiting for 45 minutes. The representative gestured for us to follow her outside, and we waited for another 30 minutes, but still no transfer arrived. At this point, I gave up and decided to just walk to the taxi rank, which I should have done in the first place.
On our return journey, I didn't bother booking with ZIP Transfers again. Instead, I went to the hotel reception and called a cab. By the time I got outside, the taxi was already waiting for us. It was a much smoother experience than our previous one with ZIP Transfers.
Overall, I was disappointed with the service we received from ZIP Transfers. We paid 66 euros for a specialist transfer company, but we ended up wasting our money. The taxis we used on our own were actually cheaper and more efficient. It was definitely a lesson learned, and I don't think I'll be using ZIP Transfers again in the future.
Reliable and Affordable Transfer Service: My Experience with Zip Transfers
I used Zip Transfers thrice during my recent vacation. The first time was when I arrived at Heathrow airport and needed to get to my accommodations in London. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed, and it took me three hours to get through passport control. Zip Transfers kept in touch with me to know how much longer it would take before I could meet my driver. Thankfully, my driver was patient enough to wait for me. I was so relieved and grateful.
The second time I used Zip Transfers was when I was leaving London to go back to Heathrow airport. My driver was punctual, helped me with my luggage, and was very polite. He drove me to the airport on time, and I got there without any hassle.
The last time I used Zip Transfers was when I arrived at Rome airport and needed to get to the port of Rome. My driver didn't speak English, and it was hard to communicate with him. However, he got me to my destination in record time, which was impressive. He even helped me find the Bed and Breakfast where I was staying, which was hidden on the third floor of a commercial center.
Overall, I highly recommend Zip Transfers for anyone who needs a reliable and affordable transfer service. They are always courteous, efficient, and reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again in the future.
Unreliable and Disappointing: My Experience with Zip Transfers
I used Zip Transfers before, so when I booked them to pick me up from Gatwick Airport when I flew back from Montpelier in the spring, I thought it was going to be a smooth ride. However, the driver was 40 minutes late, and I was not happy about it. I gave them a second chance when we recently flew to Seville, but this time, they had subcontracted the service to a local taxi service. The driver was a perfectly pleasant chap, but the taxi was dirty, and that was not what I had paid for. To make matters worse, he told us we could have booked him directly for significantly less.
When we returned to Gatwick Airport, I had booked an 18.10 pick up, but the driver wasn't there again. I called the 'help line,' but they were totally disinterested. Eventually, the driver arrived at 19.25 without a word of apology, and we were the last ones in the arrival hall. I wasn't offered any apology or refund. Since we'd paid extra to sail through Passport Control because we had to get home for family reasons, we were pretty livid. It would have been quicker (and much cheaper) if we'd taken the train.
I won't use Zip Transfers again, and if you are looking for a reliable, friendly service, I suggest you use one of the many other airport car companies too. It's a shame because I had a good experience with them before, but now I can't recommend them to anyone. It's frustrating when you pay for a service, and it doesn't meet your expectations. I hope they can improve their service in the future, but for now, I'll be looking for other options.
Disappointing Experience with ZIP Transfers: Overcharging and Poor Customer Service
I recently used ZIP Transfers to book a 6 seater car for my trip to Tenerife in August. I booked the car in June and provided the full postal address of my villa. The website gave me a drop-down option of the local town, and I selected Adeje, which was in the address. The price they quoted me for the round trip was ?74, which seemed a bit high, but I went ahead and paid it anyway.
However, two days before our flight, I received an email from ZIP Transfers saying that they couldn't pick us up from our villa on the return trip and that we had to walk 5 minutes down the road to a different location with our luggage. This was not ideal, but we had no choice. On the day of our flight, we arrived at Manchester airport at 4.30am and were waiting in the lounge for our 7am flight when I checked my email again. To my surprise, I received another email from ZIP Transfers saying that the location was wrong, and the price was understated, and they wouldn't be picking us up. They demanded an additional ?70 on top of the ?74 we had already paid for what turned out to be an extra 2-minute journey.
Despite my protestations that I had selected the correct address, they insisted on the extra payment. We were not happy, but we trusted their local knowledge and assumed that the location was quite far away, given the large price increase. However, we later found out that the cost of the trip was only around ?1-2 extra, and local taxi firms said that the maximum cost should be ?25-30 for the trip from the villa to the airport, not the ?144 round trip that ZIP Transfers charged us.
When I contacted ZIP Transfers to complain about the overcharging, they refused to do anything about it and insisted that we had to pay the full amount. I was very disappointed with their customer service and would not recommend this company to anyone. If you're planning a trip to Tenerife, I suggest you look elsewhere or use local taxis instead.

Airport Transfers
Horrific Experience booked our transfer weeks in advanced, phoned before our trip to confirm, phoned on day of transfer to confirm. Taxi didn’t turn up in time phoned numerous times and constantly lied to about when he would arrive - leaving us in an awful situation. Finally turned up 35mins late, which then meant we hit traffic causing us to almost miss our flight - no apology just a “what can I do” - turn up on time would be the answer!
Desired outcome: Full compensation
Disappointing Experience with ZIP Transfers: Confused Driver and No Office at Airport
I recently used ZIP Transfers for a ride from the airport and I have to say, it was a bit of a wild ride. The driver seemed to be a bit confused and didn't really know what was going on. It was a bit of a madness, to be honest. And to make matters worse, there was no office at the airport when we arrived at 11:30 pm. We were left stranded despite leaving our contact details with the company.
I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the service. It's not like we were asking for anything crazy, just a ride from the airport to our hotel. But the driver seemed to be completely clueless and didn't really do much to help us out. And then when we got to the airport, there was no one there to greet us or help us out.
Overall, I would say that my experience with ZIP Transfers was not great. I would definitely think twice before using them again. It's a shame, because I had heard good things about the company before, but my experience was definitely not up to par.
Terrible Experience with ZIP Transfers: Luggage Delayed and Driver Didn't Wait, No Refund Given
I wouldn't recommend using ZIP Transfers. My luggage was delayed on the belt and the driver didn't wait for me. This happened when I was in Malaga. It was in the middle of the night and I had small children with me. The driver didn't wait for just 10 or 15 minutes more and I didn't get a refund. It was the worst experience ever! It's a shame that they didn't care about their customers.

Terrible Experience with ZIP Transfers: Left Stranded at Airport with No Help
So, I had a really bad experience with ZIP Transfers. I booked a driver to pick me up from the airport, but when I arrived, there was no one there to meet me. I tried to contact the company, but they didn't respond. I was left stranded at the airport, with no way to get to my destination.
I eventually had to make my own way, which was a huge inconvenience. When I finally managed to get in touch with ZIP Transfers, they were completely unhelpful. They refused to take any responsibility for the error in booking the driver, and they cut off communication with me.
Overall, I would not recommend using ZIP Transfers. They seem like a scam company, and their customer service is non-existent. They take your money and leave you stranded, with no way to get to your destination. Save yourself the hassle and book with a different company.
Terrible Experience with ZIP Transfers: Rude Driver and Poor Service
I had a really bad experience with ZIP Transfers. The driver was so rude to me and my kids when we were being picked up at 4am in the morning. He shouted at us and refused to close the door properly. It was really embarrassing and my kids were really upset. Then, when we got to the airport, he started shouting at me again in front of my children. I had paid for a baby seat, but he wanted me to use a booster seat for my 1-year-old baby. It was really disgusting behavior from the driver. I would definitely not recommend this service to anyone. It completely ruined what was supposed to be an excellent week in Loret d Mar.
Unreliable and Unhelpful: My Disappointing Experience with ZIP Transfers
I recently had an experience with ZIP Transfers that left me feeling quite disappointed. My group of four had prepaid for transportation from the airport to our hotel, but unfortunately, our driver was late in arriving. We had to call the office to inquire about his whereabouts, which was a bit frustrating.
When the driver finally did arrive, we were further disappointed to learn that he was unwilling to go to the second terminal to pick up the rest of our party. He claimed that it would take too much time and that he had another fare waiting. This was quite inconvenient for us, as we had all planned to travel together.
To make matters worse, when we reached out to ZIP Transfers for assistance, we were met with no help whatsoever. We were left to figure out our own transportation to the hotel, which ended up being a taxi ride that cost us 20 euros less than what we had paid for the ZIP service. Despite our frustration and disappointment, ZIP Transfers refused to refund our payment.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against prepaying for ZIP Transfers services. While the idea of having transportation arranged in advance may seem convenient, the reality is that you may end up paying more for a service that is unreliable and unhelpful. In the future, I will be looking for other transportation options when traveling.
Unreliable and Unprofessional: My Experience with ZIP Transfers for Airport Transfer from Berlin Tegel to Potsdam
I recently used ZIP Transfers to book an airport transfer from Berlin Tegel to Potsdam. I paid for the service online before the transfer, but unfortunately, the driver did not show up at the agreed time. I was traveling with my family of five, including three young children, and it was a very stressful situation.
After calling the company, I was disappointed to learn that they had no record of my booking. It seemed like they just randomly assigned drivers to customers without keeping track of who was supposed to be where and when. This was very unprofessional and made me feel like I couldn't trust the company to provide reliable service.
Overall, I would not recommend using ZIP Transfers, especially if you are traveling with children or have a tight schedule. The lack of organization and communication was very poor, and it made for a very unpleasant experience.
