Entire order
I placed an online order in early spring.. After many many many months and with no communication from you, a package was dropped off in my driveway. All were dead looking tiny seedlings. Had I planted them, if they were alive, they would have died in our NJ heatwaves since you did not ship during planting zone.
I returned the entire order inoriginal packaging with original label the same week. Your company will not acknowledge the return so you do not have refund me. Your customer service doesnot respond to email or telephone.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I placed an order in march. Finally received part of my order on 1 june. There were six items in the package and only one was ready to plant. The others were either dead and covered with dead leaves, were dried out, or were simply brown slime in a package. I was so disappointed. I wrote the company to let them know and was told that I needed to plant everything and wait six weeks and that many of the plants would recover and thrive. I'm disgusted that they would send me dead plants and expect me to try and nurse them back to a live condition. After six weeks, i'm supposed to send back the unsuccessful plants and pay postage to send them back and they will send a replacement. Really?
I highly recommend that you never order from these people. No matter how lovely the items look in the catalog and whatever magical price they offer, I guarantee that you will be disappointed. I read the ugly reviews before I ordered and thought that it couldn't be that bad, but believe me, its a scam. They take your money and send you low grade plants and give lousy customer service. Do not order from this company!

Sent a check the middle of April. Noticed on my online account the check went through so they got their money. I know their website states how long it takes to process an order but it would be nice if the phone wasn't constantly busy and they would answer their emails so I could at least know something and not be sitting here in the dark.

I called the number I placed the order right way the told me I would have to send an email we were buying this to do a park for an 18 year Purple Heart service guy. As soon as I placed the order they let people off here at work and they could not help pay for it so it needed to be canceled I called the 16 and 17 and it the number You call for orders she said I would have to email which I did the 18 twice 19 twice 23 twice and yesterday twice this morning The 25 seen that you put it thru on my charge card . trees arrived dead - replacement guarantee is a fraud
Trees arrived dead - there was no soil, moisture or even any wrapping attempted to keep roots from totally drying up. Tried multiple times to get the replacement as guaranteed. there will be no way of getting it even after spending money on postal to send all the info. They require ALL info to be mailed when just cost the customer even more $ with no hopes of getting a replacement nor refund. Michigan bulb and dutch gardens replacement is simply an email and here comes the plants. the plants come in good condition so the replacements are seldom

2 orders and one replacement order 6 japanese cherry trees dead, 3 pink dogwood dead, 2 red oak dead, 2 jumbo spruce dead, lilies seed, wildflowers ? i rose bush dead. they willnot replace the japanese cherry trees as they did before with dead ones, something wrong with this nursiery, also sent me a unwanted elm tree that ok great elm famous for deasease, probably killed the order. waste of time .going back to gurneys .
I called on 4/29 and was treated rudely by a customer service representative and then her supervisor. I was calling due to an incomplete order yet on the package label, whomever checked the order, called it fulfilled. I am being told to send a letter. I called the parent company today (4/30) and was told the manager was too busy to speak via phone. I am busy too but it was important to me to interupt my day to fix a wrong. I will go to Facebook and Twitter and voice my frustrations there so I can prevent someone else from this experience. Would I recommend? Hell No!
This very bad experience today, 4/23/13, has forced me to cancel the order. The phone operators knew nothing, were very rude, unhelpful and I am miserable for my 88 year old friend in a nursing home who was so looking forward to the plants he and his friend, Phyllis, picked. Ordered 2 dwarf fig tress from Four Seasons-Plantron... one arrived in dead. I've been calling for 3 days every hour and the phone has been off the hook.

I ordered in August, now middle of November and no order recieved. They billed me immediately upon recieving my order but still never shipped. Saw bad reviews on internet and still ordered = BAD MISTAKE. Same company as "directgardening.com" or affiliated some way. I emailed, called, and they demanded that I send an actual letter to cancel the order (I did) but they won't acknowledge that they received it and won't acknowledge that they cancelled my order by email either. Horrible. What a wasted planting season. I cleared a 5 x 20 foot plot out for the plants that I ordered and planned the garden design and now have a bare plot. Great. Now weeds will grow there in the spring, I will have to locate new plants and re-design the garden, and I am burnt for $150. How lovely. I am thinking about driving to Bloomington and confronting those ba$tard$ directly.
Get online opinion before you send an order of money. Any nursery associated with Plantron, like Inter State, Kellys, Burgess, Richard Owen etc. are NOT interested in any business but MONEY. Totally unethical, rude, weasel clause that says, "return shipping label' or we will do nothing. They do not pack in peat, plastic, moisture, just dry dead roots. Very dissappointing to say the least and there is no one to protect US!...That is why they are in business!
