unclean food
My wife and I stopped at your store in Holyoke, MA on 06/02/17. She ordered a BLT. Upon receipt she found that the veggies were not correctly washed. That evening she had a severe case of diarrhea. This is the first problem we have had with your stores although we have been frequent customers. Your response, please.

I went into the Ludlow Friendlys today and is the worst experience I've ever had at our Friendlys I asked for an extra extra thick chocolate shake they worked on it for over 10 minutes and it still wasn't right three times they went back to put more ice cream into the blender before I stoped them which was blended way too long I then said I'll just take my money back at this point the manager spend another five minutes trying to get to register open which I could I had my shake by then I spent 20 minutes there and left with nothing but frustration
bad experience with food
On Thursday June 8, 2017 at 7:30 PM we had a very bad experience at one of your restaurants (Restaurant # 7477). My wife went in and ordered a hamburger, french fries and a soda. She specifically asked for ketchup only on the hamburger. When she tried to eat the hamburger, it had an onion ring on it and mayonnaise. My wife is very allergic to mayonnaise. She took the hamburger back for a refund, but the manager (Matt c.) said they did not give refunds on the hamburger, but he would make her another one. My wife was already having a bad reaction to the mayonnaise on the hamburger and could not eat another one or anything else. She came back to me at the food court and told me what happened. I went to the see the manager and he said that he could not refund the price of the hamburger. He also stated that she did not ask for ketchup only on her hamburger. I asked how he knew this when it was a girl and not him that took her order. He had no answer for this. Then he stated that all hamburgers have onion and mayonnaise on them. At this point in time I had to leave as my wife was getting very sick from the mayonnaise in the hamburger she had bitten into.
This both negligence on disregarding my wife's request for ketchup only (there are no signs saying that the hamburgers contain mayonnaise and the arrogance on the behavior of the manager as to how she was treated will make sure we never again eat in your restaurants. I will also tell all my friends about this experience and recommend that they do not eat in your restaurants. I now have a very sick wife who had no dinner and is also very upset over this whole situation.

I've been in the restaurant business for over 30 years and I have never experienced the poor customer service I received at your Danville, Pennsylvania restaurant today. We waited for over 10 minutes and not one employee came up to us to inform us of how long it would take to get seated. The manager rudely responded to my mother when she asked if we can have service. This is completely unacceptable and you should definitely look into that restaurant to possibly train these employees.

in correct closing time
Online it says open till 11 pm so me n my wife drive there. Mind you it's a 15-20 min drive and my wife was just in a serious car accident so her moving takes a lot. We called n they said they where open till 11pm got there at 10:18pm doors where locked and they where cleaning with a vaccum that had a long hose connected to it. All we wanted was tomato soup grill cheese and a app sample maybe some ice cream to share. We would have gotten it to go as well if needed to make it easy on them. Would have rather eaten there considering my wife came with me. So my wife being upset and in a ton of pain drive 15 mins back home and are really mad about the whole thing. There wasn't a reason to lie about times.
inapporiate manager behavior
As an employee for the wilton ny branch friendlys id like to send in a complaint about a manager/employee realtionship and behavior. Id like to remain anoymous due to the fact i am still employeed there. It has been bought to my attention that the manager at this location Ron Monanco i having inapporaite realtionships with a certain employee there. He has been hanging out with her after hours and having a sexual realtionship with her which is absolutely disgusting considering she is still a teenager and he is a married man/manager. It has also been bought to my attention that he is smoking marjuana with other employees on work premises. The sexual realtionship/drug use is not approaite for a man of his postion and i will no longer tolate it.

I am a frequent customer at the Friendlys location in the Wrentham outlets as I am also an employee at the outlets for another store. Today 5/28 is a really busy day here so I completely understand staff being stressed and a little flustered but when I went to pay for my to go order the women that rang me out, Bryanna was disgusting and had an attitude that was completely uncalled for. I had to pick up another coworkers order so I asked if I could have the check split, I understand that was definitely annoying but I needed it done. I also asked for the employee discount which is where she literally lost her marbles and began stomping around, she slammed her keys and murmured "are you [censor]ing kidding me" under her breath. I come in a lot and I only ask for the discount every now and then I think it was incredibly rude of her to treat me this way. I know she had trouble with the woman before me but she took out all her stress on me and threw my receipts at me like a child. I've never put in a complaint to any company and As a retail worker I know the job can get tough and frustrating especially in the restaurant business but her actions were unprofessional and disgusting. I almost don't want to ever go back here again because of Bryanna.

I took my daughter to the swansea location. She got rocking popping ice cream to go. When we got home she was eating it and found a large chunk of something in her ice cream. Its about the size of a pea and looks like skin. We threw out the ice cream and my daughter was then vomiting for several mins. I have bagged it to keep it for your company. I'm also including pictures.

I AM writing regarding the waitress I had today I am disabled me my husband and son so when I got ready to pay for our food it was 19.00 and some change I have her twenty well she got posse stomped off and bring our receipt back when we told her we did not need nothing back and she throwed the change on the table and we said no we did not want no change she got loud and said keep it and stomped offf

I work as an emergency medical technician and I ordered food online to pick up between my shifts. I got to the location and waited over twenty minutes for my food even though I explain to the staff member that I saw my food sitting on the hot table. Sadly, on top of that the staff member made my ice cream when I first arrived and put it in bag. Finally when the staff got it and put it in the bag the food was ice cold and my ice cream was completely melted. No one in the Waterbury, CT restaurant apologized or offered me new food.
I will not be returning and I will recommend my family and friends stay away also.

I went to the location in Vineland Nj it was awful it's smells like dog poop and and was so dirty! The smell hit you as soon as you hit the door! No ever came to the front where the hostess was suppose to be! We stay in that flifth hour 10 mins! All because my baby's wanted ice cream I decided to leave when I couldn't take the smell anymore! It is really really bad someone needs to shut that place down! I tried to call the company and no one ever got back to me! No true customer care
poor service
I came with my 10 year old daughter to get a bite to eat. There was a small wait but that was ok. We sat and she ordered clam strips with double fries instead of Cole slaw and a cup of chicken noodle soup. I ordered clam strips as well with the fries and slaw. When the good came out by another server, both plates had fries and slaw. I just gave some of my fries to my daughter and I ate her Cole slaw. Five minutes mutes went by and our server came to check on us but we did NOT get the soup. She apologized and brought it. In the meantime she did come back a few times asking us if we were ready for desert. NO we were not. Finally, when we did order desert, my daughter ordered a Birthday cake Friend-Z and I ordered just a scoup of Black Raspberry and with the server's suggestion, I ordered whip cream and a cherry. While she was getting the ice cream, I spilled my soda. Do you want to guess who cleaned it ALL up? That's right, ME. I went up to the cashier/counter where my server was and I asked for some napkins and told her I just spilled my drink. She handed me a stack of napkins and let me clean up the entire mess. She then delivered the ice cream which consisted of a cup filled 2/3 of finished product for my daughter and a scoup of ice cream with no toppings, the ones SHE suggested. She did bring over a tray to remove the soaked napkins from the mess that she didn't offer to help with. To say I am extremely disappointed with this service and value for my money is a gross understatement. Thanks for ruining an otherwise great father/daughter day.
take out ice cream
I went to get take out ice cream on March 13. I ordered a bannana split and there were no bannanas on it. I also ordered a hot fudge sundae with Oreos but got no Oreos. I called back and they told memo could come back but I was already 20 minutes away at home and it was 9. We go to Friendly's quite often and have been very disappointed in the take out
caramel swirl 1.5 qt ice cream
This is the 2nd container that I have bought at my local Shop Rite in Philadelphia that hardly has any caramel in it. I eat at least 3 containers a week, and there is always a good bit Caramel in. I'm very disappointed and hope this is only a 2 time thing and that you have not cut back on the Caramel. I hope that you will be able to resolve my complaint

My family and I were there on Sunday Feb 26, 2017. We got there around 10:30 the restaurant looked empty it took someone 10 minutes to acknowledge that we were there. Our waitress was very rude and we were seated at 10:50 which meant we almost did not get breakfast served. By the time our meal came breakfast was over and my sons pancakes were burned we did not wait to say anything because the manager and wait staff were already having a fight with each other. Then other people were seated to eat breakfast they would not let them order breakfast they were going to order lunch but the manager was so rude to them they walked out. We almost walked out also. Just thought I would let you know customer service goes a long way. I also said excuse me like five times to different employees because I wanted more coffee no one seemed to hear me.

My Family and I had dinner on 2/14/17. I already wrote e a complaint but I think it got erased for some reason on this set up, so I am doing it again. Basically, the overall was terrible. Not communication and bad service. Waited 30 mins at the door, that was fine but no one took any names so everyone was just standing there. The boy server was polite and the girl was extremely rude and mean to her co-workers and the customers, an she was even doing a good job. The manager was on the phone another man was just standing there. Finally got to a table to just sit there. and sit. Finally an order was taken to have 10mins go by for them to say they forgot it. took order again ( she was rude) then food came out in shifts. Kids were done and I just got my food. Also we didn't get all the food either. We paid for the food we didn't receive. Ordered Ice cream to have it wrong twice, server didn't care she was leaving with still having tables. I felt awful for the table in front of me she waited longer and still had no food when I wanted to leave. I am really upset I had to pay for food I didn't get and ice cream that was wrong. They kept telling all the tables around us Ice cream was on them for the issues well not mine, mine was wrong I took it home wrong and paid, I don't mind paying, but we didn't even get an apology just a dirty look when she got $4 tip she was lucky she got anything. I go there during the day and it is so different. IT is badly managed and employees are not trained enough nor do they care. Every table in the place was dirty, no communication so if a table got sat no one knew it. And to top it all off when we left outside, they were on the back steps smoking pot. I'm not dumb I knew what it was and for my kids to ask what that smell is, really. I am not happy, and I really would like to someone to contact me with some kind of apology. To Whom It May Concern:
On Monday, January 16th at 6:30pm, we stopped at your Friendly's restaurant and ordered a big beef half pound double American cheeseburger meal with extra cheese and a cup of ice cream to go. I even showed the young man the picture from the menu, so that he would not mistake the burger with a different one. We live 40 minutes away, so when we arrived home, we noticed the half pound double cheeseburger was actually a quarter pound single cheeseburger. We had paid more for the larger burger and due to our distance, the option of returning to your restaurant was no longer an option for us. We were disappointed with having paid more and expected more, having received so little. In regard to the ice cream, my eleven year old son ordered ice cream cake ice cream and had received cookie dough ice cream. So the entire order was incorrect.

We stopped at Friendlys on our way home from picking my daughter up from college, I have been to many friendlys many times. The food was horrific at this friendlys and when I complained I was told its on the $5.55 menu that what you get, just try it. I do not feel like me and my family were treated properly or did they try to solve our issue.

horrible service
My family and i decided to have breakfast at the Coram, NY store #7630. We have had breakfast here Numerous times and Cannot be more Happy with the service that we get from Sabrina. She has always treated me with respect as a Disabled Veteran. However on this day the Service by Sabrina was excellent as usual but it took a long time for our breakfast to come out and when it did it was ice cold. The only staff in the restaurant was Sabrina and a new Cook. I have spent a lot of money in friendly's over the years and usually get a great breakfast. However this time has really made me think about how the corporate office keeps track of these locations and the customer satisfaction. I am hoping to give friendly's another try however this will be the last time if something isn't done and customer service is not your top priority.

We had dinner last night in Geneva, NY. We waited for over 20 minutes for waitress to bring my granddaughter her ice cream. It never happened! Couldn't even get her attention! My husband paid the bill at the table along with a tip she didn't deserve! I had to stop on my way out and tell them and they got the waitress who acted like there was nothing wrong! I will never again pay a tip before my service is completed! I told her that too! 😬
