Coram Nutritional Services

We are a military family who were linked to Coram for speciality formula for our baby. It took a lot of foot work for service to start on my end was contacted by a case manager who informed me they would send email with their information never received. Our son is part of FHS (Federal Health Services) I have been trying to get my sons formula refilled for over two weeks. Have left several messages which are supposed to be returned in one business day to no avail. I have tried to refill online and was told it didn’t go through because of the program he is in. Mean while my small child is running out of his food which he requires to survive! There are no return calls. As part of their patient rights I have asked for a supervisor to be told no one knows who a supervisor is. I have requested info for his case manager just to be transferred back to a voicemail I have already been leaving messages on with no returned calls. [edited]

Desired outcome: supervisor to contact me. provided name title, contact info for the individual who is overseeing care as it is our patient rights.I would like for my sons food supply!

Coram Services/ product not received

Good afternoon,

I have been calling in to fill my son's prescription for about 2 weeks i've been promised calls back and not received them. I called today and stated I wanted a supervisor. Instead I got my case manager. I was told that my son's first insurance went through but his secondary insurance was denied.

A little background. He has disability medicaid through highmark. On january first he was switched to delaware first health without my permission. I called and was told by february first he will be switched back to highmark. Maybe earlier. Noone asked for my high mark information. I called and called and called.

Today I am told since you don't accept delaware first health (which I could have told you) that he is denied all together. I then explained he has highmark that will be activated or may have been. The rep said "its probably the same id and if it is thats denied as well" I explained its a different id number

I also explained I would pay out of pocket or don't even run the secondary insurance. I explained how serious this is and how much my son needs this. I was then told "everyone that calls in kids need this". I am borderline crying on the phone at this point.

I get no calls back. I asked to speak to a manager multiple times.

So if you want to verify before calling me and placing the order for him it would be great. My son had (2) months to start gaining weight or he will need a g tube. These (2) weeks aren't helping and the amount of stress I am under and noone calling me back or listening to me. I can't even talk about coram without crying. I am furios, I feel defeated, and I need someone to call me back,

1/2/2020 The care that my son receives was excellent. They moved the IGG dept. to Albany. He needs to take his infusion every two weeks. No infusion. The response I got from Renee is were to busy recertifying clients. If you have an infusion scheduled for New Years Day in home services, why was this not handled sooner. I ask to speak to Renee's supervisor...
