We come into friendlys located in Sagamore beach, Ma and every week we come it's a weekday around 4pm. Every time we come we wait to be seated for 5-10 minutes and the wait staff walks by us over and over and doesn't even acknowledge us. Then once finally seated we wait another 5-10 minutes for a waitress to come to us. The food is fine but the waiting to be seated and waiting to be waited on every time we come is ridiculous. It's not busy, maybe four tables of customers. This past time, Monday August 21st, 2017 at 4:20pm. We waited for 7 minutes for a waitress to finally seat us. Waited 6 minutes for a waitress to come over and start serving us. The table next to us had a couple and they complained to us that they waited 15 minutes to be served and had been waiting fir over 10 minutes for their ice cream and contined to tell us it happens every time they come here.
We are just fed up at this point and it's a shame because we come to eat there every week or so!

I haven't been to Friendlys literally since I was a kid- it has been at least 20 yrs. My fiancé and I drove 25 mins to go to Friendlys and have dinner and a Jim Dandy and my old favorite Reese's Pieces sundae. Biggest disappointment ever. The Tuna melt was cold, the coffee tasted like hot water and then we were extremely let down when our sundaes came out. The Jim dandy was nothing but melted ice cream so you had to eat it like soup. My Reese's sundae had so much crap in it I never even tasted the ice cream. Our bill for 1 Med sundae, 1 regular and a tuna melt was 35.00 - we will never go back. Thanks for ruining a childhood love!

I am now a former employee at the friendlys store at neshaminy mall. The manager Miriam was a racist and very rude towards her employees. She even got complaints from customers on how she talked down on people & also several times when racist comments will leave her mouth. Today as I was leaving the place she loudly said in front of customers that I am "BLACK" trash. I do not think she is suitable for position as a manager because she has no common respect for people and their backgrounds.

This product was described as 'poppin and rockin', so I assumed it was just going to be awesome. I was wrong. I love cotton candy ice cream and can never find it in stores, but I finally did this afternoon. I rushed home to dig in and was DISGUSTED to find pop rocks in the ice cream. It tasted like absolute garbage. I understand that I opened the product and tried some of it but I would like a full refund. Please take this limited edition trash off the market. I want to spare the tastebuds of other consumers. Thank you.

This complaint has to do with multiple things based on first-hand experiences. For starters, I would like to point out that I used to come here with my grandparents for food an ice-cream. That no longer happens due to complaints with the service and food. We were very impressed with the ice cream and have no issue with that. We stopped coming here for about two years now. Before we started having issues with the food, the service has always been something that we have never been satisfied with. For example, when we first step in the door, there have been times when the hostess has not sat us for 10-15 min. This is completely unacceptable. Any good restaurant that we have ever gone to, this has never happened. Once we got service, it was very bad. All of the servers have been very inattentive and do not seem to have any interest in being there. The food also takes very long to get to the table, even when the place was not that the busy. The worst was when we had gotten three chicken sandwiches. The chicken was raw and we had to send it back. Even after the send back, it did not taste good and did not seem fresh. This was not the first time that we have had an issue with the food. Simply, it is not that good. It is even more frustrating because it took so long. I hope that a manager lays eyes on this so he can discuss this with the workers at the location in Cromwell. Let's see what happens

Opened up the sealed container to come to find out there was a long black hair in it. I took it back to the store and they wouldn't do nothing about it, they told me to put a complaint in and have you's take care of it. My son really wanted to have the ice cream and I couldn't let him just because of finding the hair. I had to go out and spend more money on ice cream that I didn't have.

Hello, I went today to friendlys #0743 at sagamore beach ma out on buisness for a fast breakfast at 8:44 am. I actually go to friendlys quite often out on buisness in different towns but todays experience was quite awful. I ordered the big -2 do, and my client ordered two small side orders ham and a english muffin. Anyway the food was very cold, plus for the price of the so called big two do 7.99 which consisted of just 2 eggs, 2 very small strips of bacon actually realistically like one and a half very small strips and the pancakes were ok but also very cold, the waitress never came back and asked how are food was,. The ham was also cold and hard like it had be rewarmed a few times previous and the english muffin terribly hard. We didnt have a lot of time to complain to the waitress when she finally came back and dropped off the check because of limited time as that was the only time she had come back to the table but I have to say this was a terrible experience and im very disapointed now after this experience with friendlys. Plus most friendlys run a special during the week days for breakfast as I usually get the big two do which are usually good and portions a little more but this particular friendlys does not offer any discounts and for the amount of food little we got that was totally not good and ridiculous expensive for such small portion. Ive been eating in friendlys for years but after today just not to happy and im writing about this in regards to how friendlys responds to this complaint will determine if I further pursue to go back to friendlys now. Hi there, today I took my 3 kids to friendlys for dinner. My daughter ordered the chicken Alfredo. Her plate had about a spoonful of pasta. Also the chicken was very hard and dry. I myself ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. I got about 12 fries. The plates weren't even covered with food. Very little portions were given to us for the full price. We were very disappointed.

As I do understand about new servers. I have to believe ours was as it took 15 mins before our order was taken. that said. we arrived at 7 it was not busy we were her 2nd table. we left at 8 45 and I had a salad my husband as well and our 2 and 4 year olds ate. when I got the bill I asked at the register about the charge for the kids meals and was told that it was over. well ok I said. meanwhile leaving there s a huge poster advertising kids meals for 1.99 and a second in the inside as I m passing by. really? so I look online and again it's being advertised. honestly a Monday night out should not be 90 mins to be done at a restaurant when there was no wait. I was very irritated. to be quite honest as I myself am a restaurant manager feeling the waitress. had to be new I hope I was not trying to cause her trouble but being overcharged is not acceptable . 90 mins with a 2 and 4 year old also not ok I d just think twice before going again soon.

Spent $92 for supper waitress got are drinks then are appetizers never asked us if we would like more drinks then brought are food never took dirty plates from appetizers never came back to give us any drinks then sat. There for 15 minutes till we asked someone else to get are check very unhappy don't think I will be going back to a friendlys will be posting it on Facebook to let everyone know how bad service was
two 5 scoop ice cream sundays
I purchased two 5 scoop sundays on Friday July 14. Someone had started making 5hem. I was SHOCKED when they said $26.00 for 2 sundays. I paid for them. Don't know why. When I got home, mine had 4 little scoops of ice cream, I asked for marshmallow and Xtra carmel. There was NO marshmallow at all and no Xtra carmel. I really believe I was ripped off
They don't pay attention, then screw up your order, then charge outrageous price! Done going to FRIENDLY'S. My friends will here about this...

I took my grandaughter to Friendly's for her 5th birthday today with my grandson and daughter in law. Before ordering I showed our server a 50% off coupon I planned on using, she said she would take it before bringing me the bill. Our bill came out to almost 55.00, which I thought was kind of high for what we ate but I expected to use the 50% off coupon. When I went to use our server said we couldn't because the code consisted of letters instead of numbers even though she clearly seen the coupon before we ordered. I proceeded to talk to not 1 but 2 managers and neither was helpful, both said there was nothing they could do. I left VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED. Needless to say I will not be returning to Friendly's any time soon which is dissapointing seeing how my grandchildren really enjoy going there. I really feel one of the managers could of made me, a customer satisfied and did just the opposite.

Description of Incident: My boyfriend and I were enjoying a bowel of Chocolate Almond Chip ice cream last night. He suddenly felt something in his mouth. On further inspection, he found that a piece of glass was in the ice cream. Luckily, he had not swallowed, but he did cut his finger on the glass. There was nothing untoward in my bowel. This was a carton of ice cream that I had bought at the beginning of the month, and no longer retained the sales receipt.

hair found in my sundae
I purchased a large hot fudge sundae from the Cinnaminson, NJ location on 6/21/17 @ 3:06PM to go. When I arrived home I took a big scoop of ice cream out and a long dark hair still attached to my sundae got tangled in my spoon. I immediately returned to this Friendly's and showed "Brian" (name on my receipt) what I discovered in my ice cream. While there, I observed a few white males with long hair flowing freely. One of these males went to the ice cream cooler, leaned down to scoop out another customer's order with his hair hanging into the cooler. I looked at Brian and stated, "HAIR NET" or atleast tie it back. GROSS...unsanitary. Brian without question made me another sundae without hair but I'm seriously rethinking my venue choices. I plan on sharing this shocking experience online (google, trip adviser, yelp, etc.) to warn other consumers.

I went Saturday to get a birthday cake for my son. They had no frosting for the writing. They told me to go to carvel, very nasty!
I ordered lunch from a local friendlys today they said 15 min. I arrived 20 min later and waited about 45 min for my food. The food came out cold. The employees were rude and had no clue what they were doing. Since this was my second incident I am done with friendlys even tho i work next door!

I was at the Cromwell CT Friendly's and ordered two frenzies after having dinner (around 5:00). The server making the frenzies on June 20th did not make them properly. They both were supposed to have strawberry in them and only saw a very slight hint of pink. One if the frenzies was only 3/4 filled which I sent back to have filled more. I did take out and did not notice the strawberry shortage until I got home. I called the manager on duty and kept interrupting me. I don't feel he cares and I know he will do nothing about it.
I frequent this restaurant about 2 to 3 times a week and feel that I should be treated better. This manager is too interested in socializing rather than making things right.
I am not sure what you will do to make changes at this restaurant but something needs to be done.
I would like some kind of feedback.

Ordered the 4 cheese chicken and broccoli pasta with a side of coleslaw. Whooo where do I start, I guess the cheese sauce. Looked and tasted fresh out the microwave (horrible). The chicken; no flavor at all, hard and rubbery. The coleslaw looked like if it was a serving for a small toddler, literally 2 bites. Although the server Matt was nice, he was brand new and did an ok job. Any other visit here the girls *face palm* horrible serving customers.

Hi my name is Sheyla, today June 17 2017 i called in a order of chicken and broccoli Mac and cheese pasta with fries and a coke and a forbidden chocolate brownie ice cream. Unfortunately the chicken and broccoli pasta was horrible, the chicken was very hard and didn't taste good at all. So i called to let them know about it and the man who answer my call was very unpleasant, i explain to him what was going on and hes response was (thats how we do that chicken every day, is there anything else I can help you with?) Well he never offer an apology or to replace my meal, he simply said ok and ended the call without even trying to help. At this point i drove back and gave my food to the employee at the drive- thru window so they could replace it, she was very nice but yet fail to put any Napkin's and fork on the bag so one more time i found my selft annoyed about this order, i ended up eating my meal with my already used ice cream spoon. Very unpleasant visit! Hope someone fix this issue! Have a great day!
