Furniture 123 louis dining set

I ordered a louis dining set on the 30th april which I paid £2, 791.00 ive been promised several delivery dates and taken time of work but the goods have still not arrived even thou it was the rude manager who promised me they would arrive, ive now asked for a full refund as the manager could still not give me a date of delivery and been told I will receive £13, 000? This is totally unacceptable

Furniture 123 Worst online experience of our lives

Ordered our young girls bunk beds on Saturday 2/4/2016, paid extra for next day delivery because we were moving into our flat the next day.
On Monday, we called in at 13p a minute! The customer care agent said there was a billing issue then apologized and said we'll receive the girls bunk beds the following day. We received a message confirming the delivery the following afternoon between 12:15 - 16:15. NOTHING ARRIVED.
We calling in again! At 13p a minute, only to be told that there is a container issue and we'll only receive the girls beds on the 9th?
My girls have slept on the floor the past 3 nights because of the false advertising, incompetent company that has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I'm taking this further, because I fail to understand how this company is allowed to trade in today's market!

Furniture 123 Corona solid pine table

Ordered 6ft table with 6 chairs and was told delivery was in 2 days good you think. What i received was a small square 3ft table with 4 chairs when i complained numerous times i got told a delivery is on its way. What i received was another 2 chairs but still no table every time i ring i get told they are waiting to hear from the warehouse and will ring back i must have rang a dozen times and never had a call back or an amswer to the numerous emessages they ask you to send

Furniture 123 Avoid at all costs

Ordered a triple bunk bed on the 1st of August for the item to be delivered on 4th. We where home all day, tracking the item at intervals. At last check, the driver had listed the item as a failed delivery! 'customer service' rescheduled delivery for the 6th. When it arrived the box was damaged no instruction manual and rungs/parts where missing. Called company but told NO MANAGER available to take query & told bluntly to go online and fill returns form so 'case handler' could get in touch. NOTHING can compensate for inconvenience caused. I'll keep you posted

Furniture 123 Products missing/damaged

WARNING: DO NOT buy from Furniture 123. We ordered 4 items of bedroom furniture & the bed came with the head end missing, as we didn't report it within 5 days they say there is nothing they can do. To make it worse they now tell us the furniture is discontinued & can't get replacement parts even if we pay for them, although they were still advertised on their website. They will not refund our money or even try to help us out. In desperation we ordered another A2 condition bed off the website & when it arrived the slats & the bed end were missing again plus the bed was badly damaged. We called the service centre & they offered £25 off for an incomplete bed! We sent the bed back & were promised a refund within 48 hours – it took much longer. We strongly advise against purchasing anything from such an uncaring company who charge you to speak to completely useless & powerless advisers on the phone. People in authority listen in on complaint conversations but are not willing to speak to the caller. Therefore you get nowhere.

Furniture 123 Will not refund or take back damaged goods

We recently purchased a shoe store from furniture 123, tragically my husband passed away suddenly, before we took delivery, , we were all distraught and had a funeral to arrange, we did not open the shoe store box until a few days ago, the contents were damaged, broken mirrored front, we immediately contacted this company and were told because we hadn't contacted them in the 7 day cooling off period, we are stuck with this useless broken piece of furniture, And are £170 poorer, I am distraught and it beggars belief they have no empathy, do not buy from this company, they are completely heartless

Furniture 123 Lost items

Ordered items and was promised a 6 week wait. Though they charged me immediately. Part of the items (2 of 5 ordered bookcases ) arrived in time, the others don't. I emailed and called them and found that they just "lost" them. In fact Furniture123 placed an order for me for 2 bookcases instead of 5. And simply forgot about the others. Though took my money 2 months ago.
8 weeks passed already. Promised to get a delivery of missing items in 2 or 3 weeks! Amazing service! Avoid it to save yourselves the hassle.

Furniture 123 Inability ro provide good and refund

Do not use this company unless you want to have nothing but hassle and lies and more lies.
Ordered and paid for a bed from them and told delivery in a few days. Waited in all day and took day off work but no delivery. Contacted company and was told the furniture factory is closed for a week and couldn't deliver within my time frame of needing the bed. I therefore cancelled the item and had an e mail in reply to say refund would be made asap.
A few days later I had a call form a courier company sating they have had my bed in for some time and would like to deliver it soon? I told them i had cancelled the order?
Went back to Furniture 123 who knew nothing about the bed being there and as far as they were concerned it wasn't available for delivery-so I reiterated that I wanted a refund and they confirmed the order had previously been cancelled.
No reply a week later -so sent no less than 14 emails without an answer.

Three weeks after my initial delivery I get another e mail saying my bed is with the couriers and is awaiting delivery! This company doesn't know which way is up or which is down. Yet another phone call and they now say they cant refund me because
my item has to be returned from the couriers first. They had clearly told me it wasn't available for several weeks -so as far as I was concerned it couldn't have been at the couriers. I now am supposed to wait for this bed to be returned from the couriers before I can get a refund-why-they told me it wasn't available -so why should I have to wait
for a refund that they didn't know was there in the first place. They are infuriating
inept and incompetent-if you use this company you do so at your own risk-its really not worth it when you can get the same item for just a few pounds more from a reputable and reliable company elsewhere.

Furniture 123 NO QUALITY AND NO REFUND

I ordered a wardrobe from this company as it was the only one that I found that did wardrobes of a lower height than the norm. I was looking for 1.65m tall max. The wardrobe arrived and I noticed when we were putting it together that the instructions were of extremely poor quality. Also, although the doors of the wardrobe were very heavy the other parts where they were meant to be screwed into were fragile and of extremely poor quality. We started screwing everything together in accordance with the instructions but the wardrobe structure could not hold it and broke, revealing all the chip wood under the plasticky cover. By this stage we were drained, exhausted and really upset.

We couldn't keep the broken parts (some of them were jagged and dangerous) and we took them to the recycling tip, where my husband took a few pictures. He should have taken more pictures and clearer ones but the fact is that after numerous emails, many of which bounced back, we eventually got a reply to say that as we could not return the item there was nothing they could do and no refund could be arranged. I lost my money and am left with no wardrobe. I was very naive as now that I have been searching reviews on this company on the web I found very negative ones, so unfortunately I am not the only one to have been tricked. Beware - you have been warned!

Furniture 123 are still at their old tricks. I ordered a nest of tables on 14 June, for delivery in two weeks. Furniture 123 took the money from my account on the 16 June. I received a phone call from them telling me that they were waiting for new stock to come in and that the goods would be delived by the later part of July. I have tried to contact them...

Furniture 123 Faulty good

Brought a wardorbe and arrived with chips on the front door, bad paint. and drawer so badly cut it can't even be closed.
Emailed to the company with on respond. Looked at their website and couldn't find a telephone number. Check on their company and they are not even registered in the company house with a phone number. They use a fax number instead. Very dodgy company.
Don't trust their testimony as they sounds like written by the same person. There is no way for a real customer to post a testimony anyway.
Please avoid this scam if you can. If you can't please make a complain to alert other people.

Furniture 123 Extreme Poor Service

Ordered an item 25th January 2010, promised delivery within a 4 week period. Money taken immediately with initial order. Waited, eventually had a call from their delivery dept. in March 2010 given a time slot.
Nothing came, made a call to enquire. I was informed that it would come the next day, that the driver had to make a trip to Scotland and he would deliver it to Lincoln on his return. Again nothing, no telephone call or message left as to what may have happened. I contacted Customer Services and was told by the Head of this Dept., Nick Simpson that he would find out details with answers and ring me by close of play that day. Nothing came, no call as was promised. Had enough, a totally untrustworthy company. Complained several times via their email site, no response until we threatened to cancel. Then, a reply to emails saying that delivery was imminent still not being specific. Cancelled the order anyway, this company cannot be trusted.
Now we are awaiting a refund which should within 30 days of the cancellation.
Despite their large, detailed website there is no telephone contact number for this company anywhere. Only a fax number and email link.

I would advise people not to deal with this company.

Just wish I had seen your comments for this company before we ordered a Solid Oak TV unit in April, finally delivered on July 7. Only to find it was chipboard material with oak verneer. Needless to say I was on to Consumer Direct the very next day. who then passed this information on to Trading Standards. Finally got a full refund. After a lot of phone calls.
DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, RUN BY TOTALLY INCOMPETENT PERSONS. WORD OF ADVICE TYPE IN FIND FURNITURE123 LEEDS WILL GET A PHONE NUMBER, RING IT THEN OPT FOR FINANCE. GOOD LUCK

Furniture 123 Avoid at all costs

In November 2008 we placed an order for a bed with Furniture123. The website promised delivery before Xmas. We received an email confirming receipt of the order with no estimate or mention of the delivery date. The money was deducted from our credit card immediately. Just before xmas we received an email saying deliveries had closed off. From then until the end of yesterday despite sending numerous emails we have been unable to obtain a delivery date. The customer service is appalling. We have now cancelled the order they have confirmed receipt and we will see how long it takes to get a refund. We have contacted our credit card co and will be making a complaint to Trading Standards and anyone else we can think of to try to warn people not to use them.

Avoid at all costs!

I ordered items from their website for a family gathering. The website stated that the items could be delivered two days before my event. My wife was ecstatic.
On the day of delivery, I get a text saying that due to a shipping error on their part that my delivery would be delayed. I received an additional text saying that the rest of the shipment had arrived, but the deliveries were out for the day. I called and was told the next available delivery was four days later.
Despite the mistake being on their part, they would not shuffle the delivery schedule to accommodate. They were unapologetic and unwilling to assist and would only say, "we gave no guarantees."
Their lack of concern for what plans and needs they destroyed in the process was heartbreaking.

Everything about them customer service, parts, delivery company etc is AWFUL!

A few years ago I ordered twice from furniture123 via a well-know online retailer. I received prompt delivery and had no need to contact them. I would not order direct again, since customer service is appalling. Although they do answer the 'phone and say they will 'contact you tomorrow', tomorrow never comes. I have not cancelled and currently it appears as if my item is nearing my location. However, the whole process was supposed to take 2 weeks for an item marked as 'in stock' on the website. It is already over 4 weeks, but the order status has been changed to 'Out for Delivery' - I hope that means something. Funds were taken immediately and do make sure you pay by credit card, PayPal or Amazon. I would definitely avoid paying by debit card if buying from furniture123.co.uk. If telephoning I would recommend treating them as if they were your favourite store, but make sure they understand you have an alternative and will cancel in a couple of days if nothing changes. This appears more fruitful than complaining, unless you are cancelling, of course.

Shambolic confrontation avoiding law breaking charletons who blatantly lie to avoid taking any responsibility for their errors but are more than happy to enjoy some short term cash flow benefit by taking your money and confirming a delivery date for goods that they never actually had in the first place. PUBLIC SHAMING REQUIRED BUT I DOUBT THEIR MD GIVES A TOSS.

Ordered bed for my son. It arrived damaged. They don't care and won't replace damaged parts free-of-charge, so now I don't have a bed and can't afford to buy a new one, because they won't give me a refund. Awful company - DO NOT USE THEM

I placed an order with furniture 123 and received both of my items in a reasonable time so I understand I am probably luckier than a lot of people I have read, I was away on holiday when the items were received at work and so did not personally sign for them. After putting the bedside cabinets up we discovered three puncture marks in the top of one (main display area). Sent an email and was asked to send pictures have done all this but now cannot get a response from them at all. Am absolutely disgusted when you buy something new and spend a fair amount on it you do not expect to have to put up with defective product.

Ordered items and was promised a 5 week wait.
They charged me immediately, worrying I know.
Items didn't arrive after 5 weeks.
I emailed them and was promised the next week.
Items didn't arrive the next week.
Cancelled order and waiting for refund.
If I dont get the refund, trading standards will chase it.
Advice to all, save yourselves the hassle - avoid furniture123.co.uk it's a scam.

I ordered a hall mirror from furniture123 back in 2014. It took ages to arrive, weeks. It missed the first promised delivery date by weeks. When it arrived, I was due to leave home for a while and didn't have chance to check the order. I realise I should have done this and it was my mistake, but I was in such a rush.

Upon returning and opening it a few weeks later, I found the glass to be cracked. I let them know but they told me that it was past the date of return. I then explained to them my situation. They apologised and sent me a link to return the product. However, after I posted it, I got an email back saying I'd been rejected for a return again. Such sadistic behaviour on their part.

Unfortunately when I used their website originally to buy the product, it would not accept the credit card that I've used everywhere else online (Amazon, ebay, Debenhams etc), so stupidly I used a debit card instead and now have no protection. Are they deliberately rejecting credit cards to avoid extra protection to customers?

What a terrible way to treat customers and what a terrible way to treat someone trying to do good abroad on behalf of his country.

Thank you for nothing furniture123. You are despicable.

Even if you paid by debit card, still contact the issuing bank, although it is probably too late unless you have already done so. I bought some products online that soon failed and the return date had passed. I could get no support from the retailer. The bank refunded the money immediately and told me that for goods under a certain value it was cheaper for them to bear the cost rather than use Chargeback. Do search for Chargeback online or ask your bank about it if you have been ripped off.

Agree;

same story. Ordered several items; one arrived after a month a was defective. Sent it back and asked for refund. They sent another similar item. I did not accept the delivery and sent it directly back.

I had even bought the extra insurance not to pay expenses to send furniture back, if not pleased.

They took my money at the end of April and am still waiting for a refund. I am trying to understand what is the best way to have my money back. Any advice highly appreciated.

Furniture 123 Fraudulent company

Furniture 123 are still at their old tricks. I ordered a nest of tables on 14 June, for delivery in two weeks. Furniture 123 took the money from my account on the 16 June. I received a phone call from them telling me that they were waiting for new stock to come in and that the goods would be delived by the later part of July. I have tried to contact them several times by phone and email without success. I have now written to them giving them seven days to either deliver the goods or return my money otherwise I will be reporting them and their actions to Trading Standards.

I would advise everyone to boycott this company.

I too have ordered furniture through this company was told was in stock and would be delivered with in 28 day. As that date approached I received an email stating stock not available and would be delivered 07/10 and then advised delayed again to 15/10 and now I have had an email to say not coming into stock till 27/10/2014...its a complete joke as I have already paid for this furniture. I have emailed them to call me...watch this space!
