My experience with Garden State Gutter Cleaners has been nothing short of infuriating. Starting when they showed up unannounced to clean my gutters – not even knocking on the door. And despite there being barely any leaves on the ground or in the gutters. They spent a mere 10 minutes on the job, didn't properly secure themselves, and then hit me with a $200+ bill.

The frustration only escalated from there. When I tried to communicate with them, I was met with glacial response times. It took from Friday to Wednesday just to get an email reply. And when I questioned the crew about their unexpected arrival, they claimed it was scheduled - something I have no recollection of, nor was able to find any correspondence.

The cherry on top of this disaster sundae? When I asked them to look at a simple downspout connection, they quoted me $700. It felt like a blatant attempt to overcharge and like they didn’t even look at what I was asking them to fix.

But the worst part was yet to come. In my attempts to address these issues, I was met with combative responses from both their customer service team and the owner. Instead of acknowledging their mistakes, they:

Blamed me for not monitoring their work (while I was on a business call)

Made me feel like I was the one who screwed up

Took an aggressive stance rather than trying to resolve the situation

What I wanted was a gutter cleaning service that would:

Communicate clearly about appointments

Provide quality work when it's actually needed

Take my best interests into account

Instead, I got a company that seems more interested in fleecing customers than building trusted customer relationships. Needless to say, I can't recommend them. In fact, I'd advise avoiding them like the plague. This experience has turned a simple home maintenance task into a major headache.

This is second time have Garden State Gutter Cleaning and it will be our last.

Total bill $112.35 for 10 minutes of work.

According to their web site the gutters are to be cleaned, flushed, inspected for damage and minor damage repaired.

The gutter were blown and not flushed. I could have done that and saved myself $112.00

Supervisor Robert Rios could have cared less when I told him to remove us from the twice a year cleaning.

Hired Garden State Gutter Cleaning to do a twice a year gutter service.

As per the bill the gutters are to be cleaned and flushed.
According to their web site the gutters are to be cleaned, flushed, inspected and small repairs done if needed.
They arrived cleaned the gutter and were finished in less than 10 minutes.
The gutters were not flushed I was told it was to cold to flush the gutter. The gutter were blown and "air" flushed
Total cost for 10 minutes $112.35
I called and spoke with supervisor Robert Rios, told him to remove us from the twice yearly schedule He could have cared less.
We will have our gutters cleaned and flushed staring in 2013 by a different gutter service

Would not recomend Garden State Gutter service.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They Never show up and are completely unreliable. This is the THIRD time I have set up an appointment WELL in advance and they do not call or show up. They always use the excuse of the weather. But I set up my appointment 6 months in advance and they still use that as an excuse! DO NOT USE this company, it is so poorly run and unreliable. I will further make a complaint(add to the list) with the better business bureau. What is the point of setting appointments when they never show. They do not do a good job either. Please run from their ad and do not use them. You get what you pay for, a poorly run, crappy company who will eventually go down the tubes...

I had a scheduled appointment for these guys to come in and clean my gutters. I was told that they would call me and let me know when they are going to be at my house. No call was picked up by me, however I am told that they called... I have an inaudible voicemail from these guys thats all. No one came to my house. I was there all day. I cleaned my gutters the next day myself and on the next day called them up to cancel the appointment. They told me that the work was already done on my house and that I was lying. I was told that they would look into the matter and almost a month later I received an email and a postal invoice telling me that they came in and cleaned my gutters and have to pay the $80. Do not do business with these guys... a very unfriendly and dishonest company. I have complained to the BBB and my status with them is pending... I will also be complaining to the Star Ledger in the hopes of having an article printed so that all of New Jersey knows that these guys are nothing but rip offs! P.S. waiting to hear from Help me Howard of the CW as well.

I recommend you get multiple estimates. This company's estimates were the highest out of 5 companies. In fact I had the job done for 1/2 the price of this www.gardenstateguttercleaning.com
