I am contacting you regarding purchasing a diamond bracelet from Cirair Contour on the Gem Shopping network for 12,500.00 dollars. The vendor presented the bracelet as VS clarity and G-H in color.
I received an outside appraisal from GSN company stating the clarity was SI to I-1 clarity and H-I color. I contacted the customer service department because the clasp was bent when I received the bracelet and notified customer service of the discrepancy in the clarity and color of the bracelet. They offered a price reduction of 1500.00 dollars and fixed the clasp. Two months passed and the bracelet fell apart by the clasp. I notified the customer service department and they offered to repair the bracelet to which I agreed. Another two months passed and the bracelet broke apart again, I contacted the customer service department spoke to the Customer service manager, and asked for a full refund of the bracelet (11,000.00).
I was told that they would speak to management about the request. After two weeks they stated that management did not feel the bracelet was defective and would only repair the bracelet. I asked to speak with their manager and my request was declined. The Customer service manager told me upper management does not speak with the customers. GSN repaired the bracelet once again. My bracelet sat in my jewelry box for a few months until I had a wedding and I tried to wear the bracelet and it fell apart/broke again for a third time. I contacted GSN customer service once again and spoke to the customer service manager about the bracelet falling apart again and asked for a full refund. They stated they would talk to management again and I waited for another few weeks for a response. Once again GSN said they would repair the bracelet and stated they thought the bracelet was not defective. I told the manager that the bracelet was defective and would like a refund as the bracelet should not fall apart/break three times in a short period. I asked what assurances I would have if the repair did not work. I did not get a response. I asked to speak with the management team that was deciding to not refund my money and was told I could not speak with them again.
I told the manager; I would have to reach out to the BBB as I thought this was not fair to me as I allowed GSN to fix the bracelet not once but twice. The manager asked me to hold off and they would talk to upper management again and I agreed to do that. I waited another few weeks and the upper management team refused to refund my money. I filed a complaint with BBB and GSN offered to repair the bracelet again without guaranteeing the bracelet would not fall apart again. I stated I wanted a refund. Here is the response from the customer service manager provided to the BBB.
First response by GSN Company to BBB
“Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us. We sincerely apologize that our previous response did not address your complaint to your satisfaction. We understand that our phone conversation with you regarding the matter may not have resolved the issue completely. We truly value your feedback, and we are committed to addressing your concerns promptly and effectively. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are dedicated to ensuring that your experience with us is a positive one. We look forward to continuing to provide exquisite jewelry and exceptional service to you! “
I sent an email to the customer service department and called asking if they were going to refund or assist with the resolution of this issue. Please find the response from the customer service manager below. I have customer for over 26 years. I was told on the last telephone call with the Customer Service manager that GSN has restricted my account because I filed a BBB report against GSN. I feel this is discrimination against me.
I believe I was more than fair by providing GSN with the opportunity to fix the bracelet. The bracelet was manufactured with a defect as it fell apart/broke three times. GSN should take the appropriate action by refunding my money as your company advertises that you care about the customers that keep you in business.
I hope you can assist in this matter and I appreciate your time.
GSN Customer Service Final Response
I regret to inform you that, based on the response we have received, it appears that our phone conversation regarding the matter may not have completely resolved the issue. GSN has not agreed to provide a refund and has decided against repairing the bracelet once again, as they have determined that the bracelet is not considered defective.
I want to extend my sincere apologies for not being able to fulfill your request. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for your understanding.
Send letters to the CEO and two board members. GSN should allow the customers to speak to management other than the customer service manager. GSN should stand behind the products they sell and acknowledge when the vendor has manufactured a defective product and value long-standing customers. The BBB has closed the case and a resolution has not been provided
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund of 11,000.00 and the restriction lifted off my account.

Ladies ring
Contacted their customer service twice still no refund
Where is my refund? If I don't see a credit to the charge below (on my AMEX) by tomorrow (3/9), I will be reporting Gem shopping to the BBB and blacklisting you guys on every public forum including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, Your own site and will have my Attorney intervene. I never received the item as I cancelled via your customer service an hour after I looked into the bogus stone.

I purchased a Chromia jewelry item on Gem-shopping, a ladies 14kt Brazilian Paraiba Tourmaline, yesterday, (Sunday, March 5th at 3pm). I was excited to buy it than I noticed that Chromia had dozens of the same rings selling them in bulk. I knew something was up. No one sells Paraiba for $1,100 with a mass production of the identical rings. As it turned out the stone itself is a Paraiba Chalcedony Cabouchon selling for $5.99 at Etsy. I photographed the stone and it's identical in shade, color. etc. It' opaque. I want a credit issued to me James Sapounakis (customer of Gem-shopping). It's despicable that a high-end Jeweler and Gem-shopping stoop to the level of defrauding their customers. I will bring forth a lawsuit against both parties as I'm a Paralegal for a Wall Street Law Firm and seek to fulfil my due diligence. I'm asking that Chromia/Gem Shopping Network issue an immediately credit of $1,338.00 to my American Express Card ASAP! Thy have all my information on hand. Once this is completed, I request an email be forwarded to me.

My refund to my credit card
I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing anything from this company!
Please, note the chronology of events to date:
8/10/2022 - purchased a (supposedly 2.00 ct) pave' multicolor diamond ring.
8/12/2022- received merchandise and it did not meet minimal expectations
8/13/2022 - called GSN and obtained a refund number as directed and sent the ring back by registered mail and properly insured.
8/17/2022- Received an email stating they received the ring and I would be credited my refund by the method of payment. If I did not receive my money in 7-10 days.
8/22 & 8/24/2022-informed by GSN Reps they were running behind on refunds and check back, which I did only to informed again the they were still running 2 cycles behind. I told the lady I really need my credit card credited and why so long for them to process my refund? I asked if she could expedite this more timely.
My first problem was to think they would process my refund as timely as that awful JTV, which takes minimal time. If you get that email then, your refund is showing pending on your account. If and whenever I get my card credited I will never buy from this site ever again. I used to watch them on tv and thought they were ok. I have absolutely no interest a notion to purchase anything, EVER from them. I am disappointed and discouraged. I am so glad that I am finding this out now! This is my second and FINAL purchase/transaction with them. I thought they were legitimate and upfront but, I see otherwise.

Desired outcome: I want my refund credited ASAP!

Production error
I sent a email a month ago requesting help for for shipping charges. I bought the earrings that were tagged on the bottom of both earrings. I could not manipulate the tags ( like you can with bracelets & rings) first time this happened. Returned earrings & the next day earrings were back on show so I called in & explained the issue. I was told that production was to put the tag at the top. Got the earrings &💜 love them. My issue was I paid to have them shipped to me Then I paid to ship them back to GSN. Repurchased & paid to have shipped back to me. Was just asking for some help with shipping. As of to date 8/6/2022. The email was sent within the GSN company so I could not photo shop it as to save.
Desired outcome: $65 for shipping charges

This is a edit to my own complaint resolution.👌
I was woken out of a dead sleep by a call From GSN. I was told that they would refund my shipping as thy could not find the email with refund request. They did hear the recording from sales representative when I explained the issue to her. GSN also said they would send me $150 by email for my problems. I said not necessary because it was just a error. I accepted it as to buy earrings from Ben.I was also told to please close out complaint.I called to let them know I had not gotten my shipping refund or the email.
As to date I think there might be 1(one) shipping fee refunded & 0 (zero) calls back.
So I may have jumped the gun on this one🤑
Complaint resolved! In two days

why don’t you answer your phones?
I have purchased thousands and thousands of dollars of jewelry from you over the past several years and for at least the past year you don't answer your phone but, rather, i'm sent directly to an answering machine where i leave a message but am never called back! frankly, i do not understand it! i have bought a lot of jewelry & have sent only a couple
of things back. I would appreciate an explanation because i would like to continue to buy jewelry from you.
sent ring to address that I have not lived at for three years.
I ordered a frog ring, $1, 200. Gave the sales rep my address here in Florida. He checked my credit card - name - address - also in Florida. They sent the ring to WA. My son lives there now and wife. Picked up ring. Asked customer service to send pre-paid box to him to send ring to me. No. He should send ring and they may refund postage to me to give to him in a few weeks. Reps admitted after listening to recording that it was sent to wrong address. Told my son to return it to gem shopping at Fedex., saying not at this address. Also called credit card company for dispute. We have spent quite a few thousand over years. Not anymore. I will not pay for the shipping charge should they try and charge it. Credit card company told me to get tracking number for return and receipt from Fedex.

titanium diamond flower ring
I purchased the above mentioned ring because it was presented as an original Majestic collection ring from designer Janice. Upon receipt the ring does not look like the original Majestic collection ring. It has no hallmarks of any kind. I sent the ring to be appraised and was told it can not be appraised as an original Majestic collection due to lack of authenticity. I have called and emailed GSN several times to obtain a document of authenticity without luck. I am attaching pictures of the ring I received and a video of GSN selling a real hallmarked Majestic collection ring. I feel scammed and lied to and GSN does not care. I even paid more for the fake ring than the charge of the original as you can see in the video. I intend to pursue GSN for scamming me no matter how long it will take me. The video won't load but is available.
ring
At the end of November 2017, I purchased a ring from Gem Shopping Network. Less than one month from receiving it, I noticed that one of the diamonds had fallen out. I called Gem Shopping Network's customer service number and was immediately connected to the answering machine where I was instructed to leave my name, phone number and reason for calling, which I did, and was assured that my call would be returned at their earliest opportunity.
It has been four days and I haven't heard from them. Nor do I expect that I ever will. Nor do I believe that they will stand behind their products, most of which are seconds in any case.
A reputable company would at least have returned my phone call. To anyone out there reading this, please take my warning seriously and: LET THE BUYER BEWARE. Read the reviews about this company, and then do yourself a favor and buy your jewelry locally, where you get at least a 30- or 90-day guarantee against loss due to defects.
DESPITE THE MANY COMPLAINTS THAT I HAVE ABOUT GEM SHOPPIING: I have always had good luck w/them calling me back. If I did leave a number, they always have called back.
hosts
I've been watching your program for months now...But now it's time to make complaints. Why is it that nearly all of your hosts have to be loud, obnoxious and scream the description of every item they show. Marvin is the worst! i have to turn the sound off when he hosts the show.
He can't show one item during the entire show without loudly yelling, yelling and shouting when giving the price or description of the item he shows. Totally classless and unprofessional to the max! he's
showing ultra high end merchandise and he's not selling at some cattle auction! i compare your items to what you would find at tiffany's new york, but i guarantee, their salespeople don't scream at you, talk to you in loud obnoxious voices, or act like they're selling cheap, crap in a small town auction. He needs to find a job at a cattle auction house...He'd fit right in. The guy is totally without class should not be on your show!
it would also be nice if you required every male host to have a professional manicure, before their show. I've seen lots of filthy dirty finger nails. It's disgusting! if they don't have clean fingernails, make them wear white gloves, since everyone of them paws all over the items they're selling before slipping it on the models hand. It's really very, very gross! do you really think a salesman at tiffany's would dare be aloud to show merchandise with dirty fingernails?
the last thing...Why can't you back the camera up once in awhile and show the item a little further back on the models hand so we can get some idea of proportion to the hand. It's impossible to tell how really large an item is when you can't make a comparison by seeing it on the entire hand!
you sell beautiful, unique jewelry, but your show us totally without class because of your obnoxious, loud mouth hosts that were obviously trained at livestock auction houses! get rid of them and be more like tiffany's...Pure class!
I'm not surprised to see so many comments about all the host that are constantly yelling. The worst in my opinion is Daniel. Also he appears to want to show his face more than the jewelry requested. His slang is very irritating to listen to for an entire show. Put him on with someone with common sense. He needs to just show merchandise not constantly say "Get a look at this", "take a stare at this", "look over here folks","look over there". What does he think we are looking at while sitting in front of the TV with GSN on? Not Daniels face ! He does everything he can to make sure his face gets more screen time than the jewelry. You can tell he's impressed with himself, not the merchandise. Why doesn't he take a class and learn to speak the English language correctly? Why hasn't the person signing his check noticed he needs help with speaking correctly? Constantly he says "FUR", when he should say "For". That's most irritating to hear for the entire show. And his "Just yell sold folks, just yell sold" line is obnoxious. Along with all the many other errors mentioned in post by other listeners. He would never be able to get a passing grade in a Junior High School Public Speaking Class. His English is so bad we mute the TV when children are in the room. You are selling high quality merchandise. You should be able to afford high quality people for on air host to represent GSN. or send Daniel back to school for personal improvement before he's back on air.
Daniel is ridiculous. Cannot speak like an adult, but speaks like a trying to be cool high school kid. Every other word is "over here", "over there", "check it out folks". "Take a stare" WTH? He thinks he is all that. He is juvenile. Then there's screaming Marvin, "OH MY GOODNESSSSSS". Should be doing hog auctions. Finally, Kurt. Lord he thinks no one knows as much about jewelry as he and repeats everything at least 3 times. Can't stand them.
Mike is sweet and so is Deanna. Sky is very professional but he gets loud sometimes. It would be a much better show if most of them would talk in a normal voice. And tell Daniel to loose the surfer dude routine, right here.
Wanted to also mention during the same show with so called "ladies ring" that Bryan tried on, an hour or so later, the vendor told Daniel to try on a size 8 pink sapphire ring on his pinky finger. He said he doesn't have anything to do with the call center or the customers to sell to and said OkeeDokee in a long drawn out sarcastic way, boy was he mad! I swear it wasn't me that called in to make him try on that ring! I'm not the only one that doesn't appreciate a vulgarian selling Chopard and David Webb.
Have you heard him say, "Okay, let's go back in the Living Roomzies and talk, folks." I feel so creeped out when he says that, like I need a shower or something...
Daniel's Southern Cali Dude Bro Dumb Surfer Guy routine is so out of sync with the items they are selling. He's getting louder by the hour and he says his goal is to break the record of selling the most items per show and he does NOT like doing overnights any more because he's too good: He only wants to do primetime as they are paid on sales and during those peak viewing hours each item sold receives a higher dollar amount by the hosts, not the sales persons doing the actual work. His ego is staggering. He rushes to take his glasses off and fix his boufanted hairdo when the camera comes back to him!
He went on a tirade the other night because Bryan tried on a ring that Daniel insisted was a ladie's ring only. That was cringeworthy indeed. He made a nasty veiled comment to poor Bryan about not being able to tell if he was a real man or not. Ugh. Bryan brushed it off like the pro he is. Daniel said $20, 000 is cheap for a weekend stay in The Hamptons and Bryan said he could afford one of the women there a bracelet she liked then. Once again, Daniel was NOT happy, hahah!
After being a jerk to Marvin, he could barely contain his anger at Marvin a few weeks ago when he asked Daniel if he speaks (rudely) like that to his wife. One of the models audibly gasped! Daniel does not wear a wedding ring and fiercely guards his personal life. Imagine when the model found out that the man she's been playing footsie with under the table all these months is married!
I want to see fine, hand-crafted pieces of jewelry, not watch Daniel's over-inflated ego and disturbing mood swings!
Wow, I totally agree. Way too much yelling, its more like a BARNYARD AUCTION than high end jewelery show. When I change channels I immediately have to turn DOWN SOUND. So annoying. Its embarassing. If they think they have to inject excitement then they have NO SHOW, NO MERCHANDISE NOTHING. I have been tempted to buy but the hosts bug me way too much!
Ok I completely agree with the hosts yelling it’s so annoying and Kurt omg he’s the worst like seriously he doesn’t even describe half the items all he does is goof off and talk about useless crap to the people around him. And oh oh what is with him having to repeat everything he says 3 times always seriously just Listen to him. “ 2.47 carats in the Diamonds, 2.47 carats in the diamonds, 2.47 carats in the diamonds. Folks that’s crazy OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH” like seriously is it like a tick or some neurological issue. And then now you got this model Sophia who constantly talks over the hosts and try’s to but in and be the host. Be seen not heard Sophia. And she never keeps her hand still when modeling an item. And not to mention if you google her a bunch of distasteful, classless, partially nude photos surface. Like really that’s who’s modeling for your company. Not a good look gemshopping network. Oh and pearl with her uneducated speech is always talking crap in the background. A few days ago a woman decided against an item and then changed her mind and called back but it had sold already and instead of saying “sorry let me find you another item similar” she yells “oh well that’s her loss not ours” like really get some professional people working for your company. Your selling the absolute highest quality jewelry on the planet and you’ve got people like this on your pay roll. Come on get some classy people your selling the best so get the best. All the hosts should be like Wess, Sky, and Jason. And maybe hire at least one woman to host. Oh and Kurt stop laughing your annoying.
It's not a sporting event. I wouldnt go to a brick and mortar store and like or tolerate the staff following me through the isles yelling and screaming because in their tiny minds they think it will make me toss more merchandise into my cart. It's rude and obnoxious. Kurt, Hunter and Marvin are the biggest windbags at GSN.

I do agree, but only to a point. I think they are trying to get the audience excited. Hunter i one of my fav. hosts. I remember well his first day on the show.
He was gentlemanly, kind, and especially kind to those who take the calls. As times have changed, he does seem to be getting louder. I find the elder men (who are always the "second in command" to have the knowledge and the kindness that they all should have. I also like Kurt. He is filled with knowledge. I used to watch him just to learn. That was great. Now it seems they have to RUSH, RUSH, RUSH.. to move along...and everything is "being sent away on that night"...THEN it then appears on the show the next day and for many, many days later. I don't like that. You often see the same jewelry over and over and hopefully you remember the last price it was announced. It is frustratinng.
A ring purchase
I have been looking for a green tourmaline ring for quite awhile. I was excited to see one at a price that I could afford. It had a center stone and a little larger than accent diamonds surrounding the center stone.
I asked the representative on the phone how the ring looked. I also asked her If there were any defects. She said it was really pretty.
So I made the purchase. When the rep. got to the part about shipping costs and she told me it would be over $20.00 I was speechless. When I asked why it was so expensive, she just explained that's what the shipping companies charge. I really couldn't get past this cost for what would be such a small package, but I reluctantly agreed to the purchase.
Again, I was floored and felt duped when I received a HUGE box that was stuffed with paper and contained a small little ring! Upon inspection of the ring, I found the ring was scratched and the diamonds were cloudy. The tourmaline was dull with no fire. I was livid about the shoddy merchandise that I paid so much for and, in addition, it should have been shipped in a MUCH smaller package. Needless to say, the ring was returned, I feel ripped-off and taken advantage of and on top of that, they keep your money! I have called several times to inquire about when my credit would go back to my credit card and it still has not been done! They only credit the price of the item, not the exorbitant price for shipping!
Very unhappy customer and I will never do business with them again. Lesson learned.
I wrote my comment as a response to another complaint, please read it so you can read what I did to get my refunds.
They are the most dishonest people and I thought AAN was bad.
Being charged on amex card and not knowing for what or why
been in a dispute for 2 months and getting nowhere. they cannot pin point what my charge on my card is for after returing an item getting refund n being charged again. did not use my Amex after the return got credit n was recharged again for same amount.

I purchased a pink diamond ring from Gem Shopping Network. The diamonds looked more white then pink. I paid $2, 400.00 for it. When I called to return it and gave the reason why, I was told my shopping privileges were cancelled. It cost me over $20.00 to return a ring that was not as stated. Recently I had on Gems Shopping Network and the ring I returned was now being sold as pink diamonds again and the price was $3, 995. Instead of having a set price as other shopping channels their prices change at the whim of the host. Buyer beware you're better shopping at Ebay.
I see both sides of this issue. I do agree that things seemed to change around 2016. Not sure when GEM SHOPPING WAS SOLD TO SUN CAPITOL. I believe that this change of ownership may be responsible for the changes in policies and changes in the entire process.
I really miss the hosts that used to be in the overnight days, They were less polished than some of the daytime hosts, BUT they sold a different type of jewelry..some more "rough" than the "finished" items. I miss those educators and teachers who helped to make the night hours a great experience that was very different from the daytime host! Again I think this is the result of the new owners!
ESTATE ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS! I purchased thousands of dollars of jewelry over the past 10 years from this Network. I stopped buying and watching this Network September 2016. Prior to this date, I accepted and kept the majority of items I bought as I was satisfied with the item's quality and price that I paid for them. The few items, 5% or less over all the years, I did return were clearly misrepresented by the Network hosts and apparently not screened properly by their quality control section before being sent to me (if they were even checked by anyone), ie., diamonds represented as without inclusions that were full of defects, gem stones like tanzanite and opal chipped/cracked, gold and platinum mountings clearly damaged with significant pitting and/or bent, etc., . I did keep numerous damaged items that I paid my local jeweler to repair as the repair cost was not too much and he was able to take care of the problems the same day or within a couple days. However, my opinion and support of this Network all changed September 2016 when I called their customer support department to report/complain about an estate item I had purchased in order to have them repair the item as my jeweler told me his very high estimated cost of repair. I was told by three different Network customer service representatives that it was GEM Shopping Network's policy that "ALL ESTATE ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS". I asked the representatives why the hosts do not state this policy on air or why this policy is not noted on the screen when estate item are being sold, and was told that the hosts know this policy, are reminded of this policy and choose NOT to disclose this NETWORK policy on air. So regarding my defective item purchase, I was refused corrective action by the representatives and returned the item only to be charged a restocking fee (because I had paid for the Network to size this ring portrayed as being "perfect" prior to purchase) and of course I paid the shipping charges too. You may wonder why I took so long to express my concerns regarding this Network...I actually watched this show last week a couple of times and noted that the hosts were still not disclosing the AS IS POLICY for estate items. Also, listening to the same Network hosts with the same old hyped-up presentations I had viewed over the years made me nauseous. I choose not to watch this Network as if I want to buy "as is estate items" with no guarantees, I will take my business to pawn shops in my local area that carry colored gem and diamond estate jewelry. At least then, I will be able to see the item for what it is, and pay the right price for a piece that I want, that I am ready to accept after personally viewing, and pay for knowing that the item is being sold as is with no guarantees. For any of you that do not believe what I have indicated on this post, pick up your phone and call the Network's customer service people and verify what I have presented. I choose not to discredit their operations, to include their hosts, but rather want to present the rest of the story provided to me by their own customer service people that is not made public by the hosts which I believe the consumer should know...ESTATE ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS!
They are good actors at that, like saying "oh oh someone put this ring it does not belong here, oh well I have to give it the same price crap
What people do not realize about GSN is that the hosts are paid a comission on each item they sell. Therefore a less gready host can ask less for an item than another host. As a result prices fluctuate widely. My suggestion is to low ball your offer. Cut the retail price they quote in half and then cut that price in half again and negotiate close to that price. Some hosts like Kurt, Steve and Marvin are notorious for overstating the retail value of the pieces they sell. They use misinformation as well as deception to make you think that they are giving you great deals while in reality you could easily get a better deal from a less gready host. There is nothing wrong with a host trying to make as much money as they can, it's up to the buyer to understand how the game is played and get a fair price for the item. The GSN host remind me of used car salesman they use theatrics and every sale trick in the book. They are not the most sophisticated individuals but they sure put on a great comedy show. I admit that I watch the show because it's entertaining and let's face it there is very little else on TV these days.

Gem Shopping Network is new to our cable market that being said, let me add this; I have been designing jewelry, collecting gems for over 25 years. As well as being a GIA graduate, I know misinformation when I hear it. These are the experiences I have had in just their first two months here.
I purchased a pair of natural yellow diamond stud earrings. Three days later, what was left of those same earrings were being shown again for $400. Less! Thank God I had not removed the tags.
Another pair of yellow diamond earrings I purchased were not yellow, but under GIA standards were orange. There is a fine line in their grading but they, GSN, boast about GIA certifications but neither show nor mail them. I double checked with my own texts, and some stones were yellow but the bulk orange. What was really disgusting was that when I looked through the loupe someone's hair was stuck and ripped under a prong. Further there was some kind of white greasy cream under the same prong. I had not tried them on so obviously they had been returned, once.
They have been making a lot of comments about the closing of a yellow diamond mine recently therefore implying prices would go up soon. That mine; the Ellendale closed
Due to inability to meet all its bills not due to a lack of diamonds. It is sleazy to represent things that way.
Lastly, and this has happened to me twice. An item may go up for auction, as it starts I am told I am the only one interested. Suddenly I see the bidding going up by more than one bid at a time. I.e. The minimum bid may be $500 and suddenly we have gone up a thousand in a second. Luckily both times, I got out before being pushed to a level I did not want to spend. And how do we as viewers know there is another bidder? We don't hear or see them; I mean that is a great way to jack up the price.
In closing one woman complained about returns, she is right. They have this policy that you have to get a special return code within seven days or you can't return it. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THAT PHONE NUMBER ON YOUR RECEIPT! No one calls you back, the only way to get the code is by calling the on air number. That is not a no hassle, no question return policy!
Oh, I mentioned the yellow diamond earrings I bought that went up. I did get lucky; one night I bought a one carat natural yellow diamond solitaire. Two nights later my ring which was supposed to be one of a kind, was back up for sale. Three of them. Guess I was lucky the night I bought mine because the exact ring had suddenly gone up by $500. more. Honestly, I think the colored diamond prices are fairer at Langerman's Diamonds.com. After all if they are good enough for Cartier and Tiffany; they are good enough for me. And the owner actually answers your question herself!
Overall, I am not impressed with GSN, I think there is a lot of misinformation, pressure and now after what I have read I hope I don't have to wait forever for my refund..
To that man named John the Jeweler asking why you had so many returns; maybe you did not want to pay more just because it was a different night or you preferred your earrings without someone else's hair; I do! Ugh
You get what you pay for...the higher priced items are truly nice, but in my opinion the items less than 2.5k are just not worth your money or time. Regarding 3/4s of the hosts...they should go back to selling used cars. Their info is less than accurate and apparently they are only there to pump and dump items. Too bad, the show could be worth watching and buying products if some truthfulness and accuracy was injected as a new standard. Unfortunately, this will not ever happen. Sad...
I purchased a necklace that was marked 20 inches long. When it got to my home and I tried it on I could not get it to close around my neck. There was about a 1 1/2" space between the clasp and the loop. I measured it myself and it was 15 inches long from class to loop. When I tried to return it they told me that I did not know how to measure a necklace. They also told me that because this was my 4th return of a purchase, my account was being closed because I returned too many things. I told them fine, close my account!
I have also had the same experience with requesting to see an item. The sales reps are rude and impatient. They also over charge for shipping. I call this revenue enhancement. At times I feel like I am at a carnival, circus, or a zoo with all the screaming, grunting, and snorting that occurs!
Their auctions are completely unfair Mike is the only host that does it correctly Marvin & Kurt are especially sleaze ball If they don't like how an auction is going they say things like that will be there for awhile or the infamous clock where right at the last second there is a miraculous bidding war even more miraculous several shows later the same piece is up for sale yet again,
The sales rep won't show things if you say you want to see them They say okay and hangup Sound familiar Pearl. I was going to buy a Cathy ring and asked to see it Pearl said oh you want to see it. I said yes and was hung up on I watched for an hour and a half longer The ring was not shown Pearl lost her commission and I learned that the gem shopping network is full of it
I like Hunter and Mike and Ben Another man that's called the gentleman also Marvin is a sleaze I watched in the middle of the night once as he used disgusting euphemisms to describe oral sex on a woman. He is completely disrespectful and anytime I see him or hear his obnoxious voice I immediately change the channel You should too.
The Ellendale mine did not close because there where no more yellow diamonds. If you investigate the cause for the closure you will find out that the mine owners could not sell what they were producing and make a profit that would sustain the operation. In my opinion GSN used the closure to imply that it would result in a scarcity of yellow diamonds and prices would double. From what I can determine by researching the yellow diamond retail market such increases have not occurred and if anything the market for color diamonds with the exception of pink is stable with relatively minute increases. My suggestion to those who buy from GSN is to do your own homework and not to trust the gem informaton being provided by the hosts. Another observation regarding some of the show hosts, they are not totally honest about the rarity of many of the gemstones they sell. I have been collecting gemstones for close to 20 years and I am knowledgeable on the scarcity of colored gemstones and as such can honestly assure you that gemstones are always available as long as you are willing to pay the market price.
Misrepresentation & Fraud
This company should be thoroughly audited and investigated for fraudulent sales. I purchased a $5, 000.00 "paraiba" tourmaline ring, at least that was what I was supposed to be purchasing, now to "make it happen for me" they came down to $4, 867.00. When I received the ring along with the "GIA" certification I paid extra to receive, I immediately could see not only was the stone not the "Phenomal valued Paraiba tourmaline, but the stone was definitely not a 2.28 caret size. I purchased this "wonderful steal" on auction therefore non-returnable nor refundable. I have just received my third independant "genuine GIA CERTIFICATION" for which more money went out of pocket, in order to reveal I purchased .85 caret blue zircon for $4, 867.00. I am truly furious at this company. I myself am a business woman and I intend to do everything I can to see this does not happen to anyone else!
This is a crime.

This is the company Gem Shopping Network, Oh yes the government should shut them down.Over months I have seen lie after lie from those deviates selling items and try getting anything from customer service if your ever able they find reason why they did not even return your call, all planned.Beside the noise they are talking nonsense about everything they sell.My adive do NOT shop them ever.
Defective merchandise
I've purchased about 6-8 pieces of jewelry from this company over a week period. 4 of the items were junk, I was told the items were clean and of the fine, fine material. I believe that items put up for auction are seconds, pieces that have been tried to be set and they crack, chip ect the items, then they sell them to recoupe there loss. All you do is have to pay attention to ther words carefully. The host mark has lied to me, Marvin has lied to me also. I would not participate in these auctions. We set the price for items, if we don't buy they don't sell and this company pays approx 10, 000, 000 a year in air time, that gets passed on to us. People keep the bids low don't bid these items up and we can all get a chance to recoupe our losses. Buyer beware.

I have purchased about 7 items over the course of an year. My most costly piece was an auction item from the OPAL HUNTER who sold me a ruby ring in a nice setting. I believed it was quality and waited 4 months before having it sized. When I had initially asked GS to size it, they said maybe I should wait to see if I would really like it. I should have suspected something, but I agreed. Well, I took it to a master watch maker who sizes items for me, and he looked it over and said he couldn't take a chance on changing it from a 6 to an 8 because the stone had a FRACTURE in it making it highly risky to size its setting. I never wore it-- the tags still on it. It has some Swiss Cert with it with nothing mentioned about a fracture. OMG. No wonder people have STEVE tell them if his high end items are occluded. That discovery was last week. At the time of purchase, this item seemed like a good deal, but 2700 is not a small amount to me and certainly not for a FRACTURED ruby. But that wasn't the only insult. Today, I came home and as I finished my dinner glanced down at the tanzanite buckle ring I bought almost a year ago --- its practically the only thing I love out of the 7 regret pieces I bought. Guess what? The buckle part FELL OFF. Now I have this ugly big fat band of junkily set tanzanites with NO BUCKLE. I bought it for that very design! I will not be spending anymore hard earned money their way any longer. I can see their customers dwindling away and know why. You can only screw people so much, and then they will despise and desert you.
I have bought 3 things-1 a white loose zircon that i had set in 14 kt gold ring setting and it must be cubic zirconia because it clouded and dulled very quickly! 2 a black loose diamond that was in a sm case that said 1.50 kts-but was actually prob 70 points. 3 bought black diamond earrings in post style-cheap setting and poor quality diamonds-looked better on tv-all 3 pieces looked better on tv!
I am sick of these false complaints against gem shopping network in Georgia. I have purchased several times from them over the past 17 years, each and every purchase was as stated, or even better.. All items have appraised far over what I have paid. They are excellent to their customers. They are knowledgeable and funny and very friendly. I call several times and always have a pleasant experience. My gem purchases be they jewelry or loose stones always exceed my hopes. As far as shipping is concerned, I have never paid more than standard US postal first class or small flat rate priority. The postal service sets these rates not Gem Shopping, this I am certain as I work for the US Postal Service as a PTF clerk. Funny how these complaints come flying in by the same people who keep shopping there. The best one yet is the " they are big rip offs, the rings they show on tv are so much larger than the rings you receive". My comment to that was, did you really think you were going to get a ring that is bigger than the presenters head? Come on people ! They always tell you the actual size in cts. & millimeters. So you get the gem weight & size they even put the ring on a models hand to show you. If you don't like them, do not shop there simple " problem solved".
I am a graduate Gemologist, and I have purchased items from Gem Shopping Network. Your letter makes no sense, because I looked up Georgia Houghtaling, and he is a GG, a graduate GIA gemologist. Morerover, his name is signed on one of my appraisals along with his contact number. I called him personally and discussed your claim, and you are incorrect. He is not an employee of Gem Shopping. He is an independent contractor who owns his own appraisal service. He is exactly what Gem Shopping says he is. In accordance, have you ever heard of liabel and slander? Your letter makes me think you are a jealous jewelry store who is out to discredit his competition.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE ABOVE RELATED EXPERIENCES... THEIR APPRAISALA ARE VASTLY OVERINFLATED, AND DONE BY SUB-CONTRACTORS WITH THEIR GSN COMPANY, SO THEIR APPRAISERS ARE NOT INDEPENDENT, AS THEY FALSELY CLAIM! IN FACT, THEY FREQUENTLY HAVE USED 'PRECISION GEM LAB', IN GEORGIA, WITH GRADUATE GEMOLOGIST, GEORGE JACOB HOUGHTALING, SIGNING THESE APPRAISALS (IN 2011). I JUST DISCOVERED THAT 'PRECISION GEM LAB' WAS DISSOLVED IN SEPTEMBER OF 2010, and THE ARTICLE OF 'DISSOLUTION' CAN BE OBTAINED VIA THE INTERNET...SO THEREFORE, GEM SHOPPING NETWORK FRAUDULANTLY PROVIDED JEWELRY APPRAISALS VIA THEIR OWN SUB-CONTRACTOR -- WHO WAS POSING AS A GEMOLOGIST FOR AN 'INDEPENDENT' COMPANY THAT DIDN'T EXIST! THIS BEHAVIOR GOES WELL BEYOUND CONFLICT OF INTEREST...IT'S FRAUD!
HUGE Rip off
Gem Shopping Network is an enormous scam. To begin with they charge an enormous amount of shipping starting at something around $30.00 per item - and I'm talking about a pair of earrings. If you ask they will "offer" to ship it at a less expensive rate of around $20.00 per item. What you will receive is a poorly packaged item in a Priority Mail envelope.
Should you return an item you will wait and wait and wait for your credit card to be credited for the return. It has been over 20 days since the Gem Shopping Network received my return (sent via Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation). Today is January 24 and the delivery confirmation receipt shows that they received the package on January 9.
When you call their so called customer service you will get the run around big time.
While they acknowledge receiving my return, they have also out and out lied about the date it was received stating that it was received on "Jan. 10 and 9:30 pm"...huh? That's impossible as the postal service does not deliver at NIGHT!
What I've had to do is file a complaint with my credit card company to finally get a refund.
Awful, just awful.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
I really enjoy watching Gem Shopping Network everyday. NO COMMERCIALS and omn air 24/7. I can say first hand that they respect and treat customers very well.
Actually, I shopped for 14k and received vermeil, poorly done. Never again. NEVER.
Many of the above comments about the screaming and exaggerated adjectives, claims, and “fast counting” that they pretend is being an auctioneer can certainly grate at my nerves, but the “sales reps” on phone and chat are mostly very kind and conscientious. Unfortunately, the vendor KALATTI, and their rep, Skip, sure put the credibility of themselves, host Wes, and Ashleigh-the dear girl in Sales who was placed in a very uncomfortable position with my ire. KALLATI put up a wheel where “ EVERYTHING is $2495 or below’. There was a pendant that Wes tried to mention at the beginning of the turntable, but was quietly Shushed by the KALLATI vendor, Skip. I was sure that someone would request it, but after 10-15 minutes passed and nobody did, I chatted Ashleigh up to have it showcased. But as it came up, after a rather pregnant pause and lots to music, she advised my husband and myself that it was a mistake but they could do 2, 995. I told her my opinion in that it had been on the wheel, and had been noticed by the host and rep. They could have taken it off as soon as they recognized their mistake - before anyone requested it. Ashleigh said they hadn’t noticed before (but it’s recorded, and they had) but she could offer free shipping to help compensate for the mistake. I refused and said the deal should be honored. She even got another $200 taken off but the poor business practices that KALLATI demonstrated made me doubt their integrity in any of their claims. My husband and I buy A LOT from GSN and absolutely have a more positive experience with vendors, hosts, and most of the pieces we’ve received. There has been an instance where I Won an Auction for a .34 ct Center pink diamond and Baguettes ring but did NOT receive a .34ct Center, I y got a.28 ct from Mike and Deanna and Jewelry Extravaganza. With all the claims that with the Argyle mine’s closing and that .04 is considered a significant solitaire, what about my .04ct loss of size in a significant solitaire? Anyway, Isis and Kye in Customer Service, when returning products due to flaws or just not loving it in person, Have issued RMA/Return Auth numbers. And yes, it takes quite a long time to get our accounts reimbursed-minus shipping ( which We paid for at time of order) Also, the Accounting Dept. will charge my husbands saved cc accts, as well as my cc until eventually one charge will drop off, or they will split up the order charges amongst different saved cards at their own discretion. It makes for great difficulty doing our home finances and has caused cc overages, including fees/interest charges being levied on our accts. With 10’s of thousands of dollars spent a quarter yr, I am so disappointed in this instance where GSN would Back Up KALLATI for their poor business practices over a $300 mistake on Skip’s bait and Switch attempt.
My advice to the General Population is don’t buy if the accounting dept’s practices will get you in trouble, or the extremely long waits for a lesser amount reimbursement not to mention our own high return shipping costs will cause you any financial or credit issues. But for Sure, DONT BUY FROM KALLATI -or fall for their Bait and Switch practices or their following Auctions offered of lower grade items - placating the viewers in the wee hours of the morning- when I suppose there are no members of Management watching. Besides, Gem Bleu and Modani have better Tanzanite and the Kings of Gems- Emeralds, Rubies, Sapphires, and overall workmanship. I’ll keep buying from GSN, but having a geology background and no duress over the accounting practices that might affect some, but I will Not Support vendors who discredit GSN and their viewership. I reserve the right to change my mind and shop with small business owners on other platforms instead. I would recommend to GSN to establish a Quality Assurance Dept to review overnight shows’ vendor decisions so that the integrity holds consistent 24/7, that Mike and Deanna to actually ship the product offered in their Auctions, and for the billing dept to Only charge the accts that We Authorize and not indiscriminately make those decisions with the customer’s finances. But the jewelry sure is “So Pretty”, as Amy with her lovely handbags will attest.
As for Skip and KALLATI, you lost way more than $300.
The “KING” of gems is chrysoberyl; which should never occur in nature; an emerald by day and a ruby by night. I own three GIA Alexandrite rings, and two “Royal/Imperial Topaz rings. None from your company; because you can’t offer them. All appraised far, far what My Husband paid for them. Common knowledge… your “jewelry” is marked up at LEAST 800% over what is normally charged; even at a pawn shop. You’re never going to sell him or I anything. A $10,000 dollar hard earned lesson.
I don't think anyone should compare any piece of jewelry sold online on today's jewelry shows (18 carat gold to platinum) to what you would pay in a pawn shop...

" BUYER BEWARE "
I HAD PURCHASED A GEM STONE, ( CUSHION CUT ), WHEN I RECIEVED THE PKG, I OPENED IT IMMEDIATELY, NOTICED THERE WAS A SMALL CHIP ALONG THE EDGE, REPORTED THE PROBLEM, WAS TOLD TO SEND THE STONE BACK, THEY CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT IT WAS AN INCLUSION, AND THAT I WOULD NOT BE CREDITED THE COST OF SHIPPING, ( TO & FROM ), A TOTAL OF $70.00. AN INCLUSION MEANS THAT THERE IS A DEFECT INSIDE THE STONE, AND BASICALLY NO MATTER WHAT I SAID IT DID NOT MATTER. FROM THAT POINT ON, I'VE STOPPED BUYING FROM GSN, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER PLACES TO BUY JEWELRY FROM. IF THE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN WATCHING GSN LATELY, YOU'LL TAKE NOTICE THAT THEY ARE NOT SELLING THE WAY THEY USE TOO, SO I FEEL THEY ARE GETTING WHAT THEY DESERVE!
Gem shopping network, I watch this when i want a good laugh, first after the constant BS you have the WOW boy Brian, every other sentence has a wow in it, who does this, and Hunter with the most terrible voice one must get past just to listen to the so called bargains. All the screaming these so called men, selling women's jewelry, why can they not leave that to women and go out and get a MAN'S job.I can not believe they keep these lying little people there in place of who they should have selling.I myself would watch more but i just can not stand those fools on the show !
Recently bought a Native American Indian necklace. Beautiful and very well packed. . Astonishingly, I received it within 5 days of the purchase. Was overall a very pleasing experience. Can't wait for the next NAI sell off.
Thanks for a well run fast moving presentation.

I purchased many items with full intent to keep them so I did not realize that their return policy required calling within 7 days of receipt to get a return authorization number even if you intend to keep items. I had no issue with the quality of the items I purchased. However, GSN cares nothing for their customers. When I unexpectedly had a change in my financial situation, I contacted their customer service explaining my situation and that I needed to return items for refund as a result. Even though I was well within 30 days of purchase, they refused to let me return the items despite my explanations. I was very desperate and unsure of how I could manage and was told I could "sell the items". I filed a complaint through my credit card company and also arranged a payment plan to help me due to the unforeseen financial situation. GSN received their money, I kept my items, and my temporary financial situation resolved. My issue is that GSN cares nothing for their customers. I recently wanted to give them another chance and tried to purchase an item priced at less than $ 200.00. I was told by a sales rep that GSN placed a notation on my customer registration number not allowing me to purchase. I was shocked! I mean, they had been paid for all items previously purchased! Clearly this was a hostile decision toward me because I had filed a legitimate complaint. I thanked the sales rep and informed them there are plenty of other places to shop and if they don't want my business, I am glad to go elsewhere. I would NEVER shop with them again because of their shabby treatment of me and lack of concern for a situation that was totally resolved with no loss to them. Can you IMAGINE!? The nerve! Anyway, I say BUYER BEWARE! I am sorry I had such a terrible experience and glad I was able to resolve, but their treatment of customers is just terrible. Spend your money with reputable companies and spare yourself GSN agony.
Caveat Emptor… “Buyer Beware…
I purchased 2 rings, one returned within the time frame, the second was a $ 1700.00 that I paid 46.00 for them to ship to me, I needed foot surgery and didn't make the time frame, I was told by a customer service rep, that she was very upset that I wanted to return the ring when I took it to a GIA Gemologist that stated the retail might be at best $700.00, I was transferred to another rep, that stated " I just Googled a vintage 1 carat ring, and yours looks much nicer and its selling for 1440.00, yours is 4.26 carats plus .46 points of diamonds" . I told her the ring was coming back, she replied, send it back with a full appraisal. that cost another $ 150.00, plus 2 day air and insurance, cost another $ 62.00, it was signed for last week, no refund yet.
my credit card company got my money back, as with Sandra, I was also told that my account would be suspended if I tried to do a charge back, I told them to close the account. Lesson learned. After watching this show during my recovery, they just had on this Sunday, rings that were selling at $ 2995.00 now a blowout deal, $ 995.00. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
I have purchased several lovely pieces of jewelry and NOT a problem one time, they came promptly and well packaged.
Seriously? LOL… At one time I had purchased in ONE EVENING over $10,000.00 in “supposedly” 14k jewelry; 4 pieces I took to my local jewelry. Plated… 14k over sterling. That’s called FRAUD. I returned every single piece with a demand letter from my attorney. NEVER say NEVER; but I buy my beautiful LEGITIMATE jewelry and gemstones from my jeweler, who has become a trusted friend. I’ll not buy from this travesty of a company again… EVER. My engagement ring is a GIA Alexandrite, one full carat, with half a carat of diamond baguettes on each side, E color; VVS1, set in iridium platinum… $1,200.00; 2 years ago; custom made, European shank. This ring has been appraised at over $6,000.00 at one “mall store; and $11,000.00 at another large chain. QVC/HSN… you have lost me as a customer FOREVER. I encourage everyone who has previously purchased from them to an appraisal done by PROFESSIONALS who know and care about customer service… and not sell vermeil as “solid 14k gold; and a troy ounce? Worlds different from a “regular” ounce.
Thank you, and my address is different from the 551 S. Vine Street Address, Marion, Ohio, 43302. You will NEVER get my current address… this home is paid for; and the rental next door? Is ours, we charge a fair price for a two bedroom home which is stunning, decorated by me; without ONE ITEM from HSN, or your other façade of TRASH.
Thanks… but NO THANKS.
Yvonne L. Wilson Cain
I have NEVER had a problem with Gem Shopping; in fact, they gladly accepted a pair of earrings that broke a year after I purchased them. They quickly and efficiently accepted them and offered repair, replacement or refund.
claims about gemstones
While i'm not an expert, i have done a lot of research into loose gemstones and have made many successful purchases. From the first, i strongly suspected that the list prices quoted by hosts on this network were outrageously inflated to make their final prices seem like a great bargain. Just today, i got something solid to go on: lying outright to the viewers. Both hosts made the claim that their high price for a ring containing a tsavorite garnet was justified, since, "as you all know, tsavorite garnets over one carat are extremely rare. " in a casual search, i found 72, in sizes up to and over 4 carats on one website alone, all good quality and none over a few hundred dollars. I find many more listed on ebay from a variety of reliable sources, all good quality, over one carat and very reasonably priced. "extremely rare" is not just a little exaggerated; it's a bald - faced lie. To all gemstone buyers, do your research; if sellers lie about one thing, they will lie about many. Combine such lies with complaints i've read about this network's failure to honor their own refund promises and you're likely to be ripped off.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
They make false statements all the time and their prices are more expensive than any other sources to buy jewelry. It's just that the people who buy from them believe everything they say. And they push Item's so badly that people believe they better act quickly to get a high quality item when they are paying twice the retail for the item. I wish there would be more control put on these companies. But it is the consumer that should be more aware before spending money most really can't afford to spend.
The fact of the matter is that all retail prices given y gemshopping are overstated. Furthermore, they do lie about the rarity of all types of gemstones. They inflate the price so that prospective buyers will offer more than what the piece is worth. An example is the rarity of jadeite because of the restriction placed on Burma. There is not a single show host that will not harp on how difficult it is to purchase jadeite in thIs country, when in fact jadeite is readily available because the restriction has not been infored and the material comes into this country via Thy land and China. So although I do agree that a buyer should be aware and knowledgeable regarding gemstones they plan to purchase, gemshopping should curtail being deceitful about the items the sell to the public.
I agree gem shopping is a top rate company, you need to learn & research before you say silly things that you do not really have much knowledge about. Tsavorite gems over 1ct. are very rare and the larger the ct. weight the price goes up a lot. 2cts. are not double the price of 1ct. more like 5 times the price.
IF YOU ARE ENTERING INTO THE WORLD OF GEMSTONES, i WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU FIRST DO YOUR RESEARCH, AND THEN INVEST IN A FEW TOOLS, SUCH AS A REFRACTOMETER, A GEM MICROSCOPE, AND PERHAPS A DICROSCOPE AND SPECTROMETER.ALL OF THE TOOLS THAT I'VE MENTIONED WILL HELP YOU FERRET OUT SYNTHETIC/SIMULANT GEMS, AND KEEP YOU FROM MAKING EXPENSIVE MISTAKES.SHOWS LIKE THIS ARE FILLED WITH DOUBLESPEAK, AND THEY ARE FAR MORE INTERESTED IN MAKING THE SALE, THAN PROPER REPRESENTATION OF THE GEMSTONE THAT THEY WANT YOU TO BUY-ALSO, IF YOU ARE PAYING A SIGNIFIGANT AMOUNT FOR A GEMSTONE/JEWELRY, MAKE SURE THAT IT IS 'GIA' CERTIFIED.THIS MEANS THAT IT HAS BEEN TESTED AND GAURANTEED TO BE REAL BY THE GEM INSTITUTE OF AMERICA.I SUGGEST THAT YOU CHECK OUT SELLERS ASSOCIATED WITH 'THE VUG.COM', OR BUY LAPIDAIRY ROUGH AND HAVE IT CUT TO YOUR SPECIFICATIONS.
Gem Shopping is a first rate company, and what their host said was absolutely true. Anything over one carat is considered rare, and now that commercial mining is haulted prices are skyrocketing. Some commercial designers are getting $6000 per carat on four carat and larger sizes. Be careful with what you see on Ebay. The Tsavorite is in the grossularite family, but if it's light in color is just an inexpensive Grossularite Garnet. Ebay sellers are notorious for making the stones look darker in their ads and then shipping out garbage. Let the buyer beware! Here is a great article from The International Colored Gemstone Association.

I will never purchase anything again
I purchase a pendant from the program. Received the pendant and did not like the quality of the item. As the host stated many times in the programming, you may return the item if you are not totally satisfied, however, no mention of the time period, long distance phone calls to try to gain the refund. I followed their return policy by contacting their firm to obtain an RA number for the return. I returned the pendant in ample time. I called the customer service dept. to confirm the receipt of the item and was told initially it would be 3 to 4 weeks for the refund. I then contacted the firm again and was told 4-6 weeks for refund and then was given another person by the name of Tisha to contact at [protected]. Contacted this person several times and the 'person who processes the refunds' as indicated by the customer service dept. was never available. I left numerous messages with phone no to the gentlemen who answered the phone. To date still no refund. Please beware of this firm. I will never purchase anything again. I have made several purchases from other jewelry stations and this one is the worst and most advertised.
I am in complete agreement re: their terrible return policy. The hosts keep telling us that it is easy to return, but ONLY 7 DAYS TO GET OK TO RETURN is an awfully short time to make the decision. I KNOW they think we are wearing the product, and then returning it; that MAY happen, but I deal w/purchasers with the same truthfulness that I think they owe me. They are truly the most inflexible company I've ever purchased from... I have received some beautiful items. and Ive returned probably more than they want. I never tracked how long it was to receive the credit.
I purchased several pieces of jewelry from them and only 1 ring was nice. I had other items that my jeweler told me were junk diamonds, however I was past the return deadline so I figured I take the loss. Then I purchased a Stambolian Sapphire necklace from them and it arrived damaged so I contacted Stambolian and they had me send it to them. They repaired it, reimbursed me for shipping and apparently contacted GSN. I received a call from GSN and they were not happy but allowed me to return 2 items that I thought I was stuck with. Upon receipt of an email that items were signed for I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute as to stop interest fees. I figured that showed their professionallist and I saw another Stambolian ring I really loved at $1595.00 but I had seen the ring online for $1400.00 at an other seller and they sold it to me for that price. One hour later the same ring was on the same turntable but now offering at $1195.00 so I called back and mentioned this to them, they insisted this was not the same turntable so I told them to cancel my purchase and with that I was informed I could no longer buy from them. My return charges are still in dispute but I don't have to make payments until all is resolved. I have been trying to setup a warning website but unfortunately I don't have the knowledge as to how to do that. I wish I had never seen their channel, nothing but a major scam site . DISH should remove them from their tv lineup.
I agree with comment. I purchases a pink diamond ring that was supposed to be natural pinks with VS1-S1 quality. I was told that I would get an appraisal with it. It came two weeks later. The diamond were S1-S2, and the appraisal did not say the diamonds were natural. It said that they were probably treated and it was not detectable! WTF! When I sent in a certified letter they did not respond. I have sent the ring off to have the diamonds tested. If they are treated, I can guarantee you I will raise heck all over the Internet. For the kind of the money that they ask, they need to give quality service..it seems the minute they get the money its "oh well"...It appears that the public is paying for air time, ...not quality jewelry...
