On 09/20/2024, I put down a deposit of $3000 for an RV from General RV Center. I was told that my credit application would be review and will have and answer next day by Justin Clearfield. Next day 09/21/2024 Mr. Clearfield called and tolde me good news you and your wife have been approved for the 2023 Clipper Model 12.0 Pro. Term of the contract $490.00 month for 180 months big WHOA absolutely not we refuse few minutes later Justin text back offering $363.00 for 84 months we did not agree to anything few hours later we got the following offer $286.00 for 84 or 60 months for $366.00 0r 72 months for $319.00. We did not agree to nothing few minutes go by we get a call from the sales person Jim Cotter and we explain to him the situation and we ask politely to refund our down payment. on 9.24.2024 we get a text from Chris Stevens wanted we communicated that we have made our decision that we will not be purchasing the RV, we respectfully requested our refund that as of today 11.21.2024 I have not received a call or text or email offering our refund or anything from the Dealership. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DEALER. I don't know how I will get my refund I guess I'm out of $3k
Dispute the charge with your bank or credit card company as you never completed the transaction. Add evidence including emails, chats, screenshots and anything that shows you never agreed to the terms. Also, write a letter that states, in no uncertain terms, that you want your money back, to General RV Sales. Perhaps, if still unsuccessful, try small claims court.
